Reflecting upon the timestamp of my last journal entry and realizing that it's really been a while since then, it's certainly difficult to find a subject to start all this again, or anything to write about for that mattter. It feels like, where to start, what to say, how to break that thick silent ice again. In any case it would be impossible to monologue about the past two years of my life so the best thing I could do is let it flow.

So without further ado, I'm back to deviantART. The asylum of my soul. Thanks for keep visiting my page, favoriting my work, thanks for giving me a good reason to smile.

First all, I'm aware that dA is changing the copyright policies here and honestly I couldn't care less. My position regarding this issue is, and always will be, the following:

All and every single deviation I create and submit here or anywhere has no copyright. You are completely free to: use, reproduce, distribute, interpret, misinterpret, distort, mash it up, love it, hate it, hack it, exploit it, make yourself rich with it, even claim your authorship, without my consent or the permission of anybody.

On the other hand, I really enjoy when someone send me a message asking for any kind of advice, I find that particulary rejoicing, the mere act of helping others achieving their goals makes me feel really good, and despite the fact that I'm a technology consultant therefore that's my work and it actually pays my bills, I'm the first to maintain that money should never interfere between a person and her/his dreams. That said, feel free to contact me, always, anytime. I will do my best to reply you on time.

Xara Xtreme remains the most powerful (in terms of performance) and the most productive product available - these are objective measures and not just marketing spiel. Xara pioneered many of the graphic technologies that have become industry standard, from the first vector anti-aliasing, to the first vector transparency, including graduated transparency. The latest versions continue to innovate with dozens of industry firsts such as real-time vector feathering, embedded JPEG, the world's most efficient file storage, and unrivalled performance.

Linux needs a top-tier commercial-standard graphics program. The Linux desktop has come on leaps and bounds in the last year or so but it still lacks any vector or general purpose graphics program to genuinely compete with Windows and Mac commercial products. And although desktop Linux is evolving at a rapid rate, the platform is behind in the graphics market. We intend to change that.

1. Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, and find line 4.
"the second single quote. Remember that \' tells Perl to escape the single quote, and so it"

2. Stretch your left arm out as far as you can
Releasing the mouse? I'm lefty, duh

3. What is the last thing you watched on TV?
Luckily I've given away the TV three years ago.

4. Without looking, guess what time it is?
+/- 9:00AM.

5. Now look at the clock. What is the actual time?
8:35AM actually.

6. With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?
Birds and a frying pan which is hanging from a hook in my patio (I've hanged it there to dry it) then sometimes the wind make it knocks the wall doing a bell-like sound "clanngg" "clanngg".

7. When did you last step outside? What were you doing?
At 7:00AM went to a store to buy cookies for the breakfast and cigarettes.

8. Before you started this survey, what did you look at?
[link]
Last night.

12. What is on the walls of the room you are in?
Old networking posters.

13. Seen anything weird lately?
Yes, that a lot of people clean the sidewalk with a hose and water, drinkable water actually (it costs money to potabilize it) instead of just sweeping it.

It's ingenious.

15. What is the last film you saw?
Finding Neverland.

16. If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy?
Mmm, tough one. I think first all I'd like to travel around the world then buying interesting things at the different locations. Also I'd love to buy deviantART and make it fully free for everyone. Also I'd like to financially help young people who want to develop their artistic talents. And finally I would like to buy an old house, then contract artists to decorate it, and open some kind of Human Development Institute, wow

17. Tell me something about you that I don't know:
I want to meet the love of my life this year

18. If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?
Miguel.

23. Would you ever consider living abroad?
I'd like to.

Well, I'm really glad to read that this simple piece of artwork reached 1000 views! I've originally done it few years ago, in order to create a t-shirt but finally never used it since print shops here in my country mostly sucks. In the other hand I haven't got an int'l CC to create a print account here, so I'm somewhat limited to neither do nor offer prints right now.
Anyway thanks to all the people who invest their time watching and commenting my submissions, plus, I'd like to show my appreciation for those Deviants who made tutorials, they're very valuable for me and it's just great, you guys give them away for free, just for the applause, I mean, I think that people really understand the significance of "helping others". To them, all my respect and the best wishes in this holydays.
