With the holiday here, I felt it only prudent to say Thank You to all those who have helped me and encouraged me in my journey into the world of model photography. Looking back I see how much I learned from each and every shoot, and even with the Flakes, No-Shows, Drama Queens, head-cases and liers, I have always believed that everything happens for a reason, and maybe it was never meant to be. My photography has evolved and grown to the point where my visions and concepts are quickly becoming reality, and for that I am truly thankful.

Secondly: a big thanks goes out to all the fans, watchers and comment'ers ..who have stopped by my page and added, or commented on my work. Many times your feedback is the only thing I see that helps to guide me in the future....Thank You all

Now back to work ..Happy Thanksgiving to all !!

Jeff

PS: here is a short video of a couple of recent shoots

[link]

[link]

We will be working on special projects together in the coming months.

[link]

I am NOT into photography to find a wife/GF, I am NOT in it to get models out of their clothes, And I do NOT "Bad Mouth" other photographers, or their work....I do it cause I am passionate about photography and creating memorable images that will last a lifetime.

I am looking forward to doing some studio work in the near future, as the temperature will no-doubt get colder in the coming months, I no-longer have the desire to freeze my(or the models)butt off. So stay tuned to see the indoor work, coming soon.

Thanks to everyone for all the comments and Favs, over the past two years, sorry if I cannot send a personal thank-you to each and every person.. so I'll do it here..

With the hot summer days behind us and the hint of a chill in the air, I look forward to the colors of fall and the opportunity to shoot with some of the best models any photographer could ever ask for. The New Camera is working great, and the possibility of shooting "In-Studio" and teaching myself about non-natural light brings out my creative thoughts once again.

After a tough few weeks, with the pressures and stresses of this industry weighing on my mind, I began to think about giving it up, and moving onto other aspects of photography. I have since decided to stick with it, at least for now and hope that with new opportunities and challenges ahead, I can leave all the stress behind me and move on to bigger and better things. If not ...you'll see some awesome landscape photos...

Thanks to Jenn, Michelle, and Brit for helping bring back my passion..

The rains held off long enuf, this month, for me to get out and shoot with some of the most amazing people, and talented models I could have hoped for, each one bringing her own style, and personality to the shoot...and the results were incredible..

July 2008:

Blessed with exceptional beauty and an awesome personality, Meg was like a breath of fresh air. Every time out she made each image come alive with her smile.

Along with her two handsome boys, Marie showed her passion for life and her children. The images we created inspire thought and love for family, for a long time to come.

With an angelic face and killer body, Jenn shows every time out, that she's not "just another pretty face", she is a true professional, even though she has only started in modeling.(Read The adventures of Jenn & Jeff)

August 2008:

The month started off with a "Flash"... with a double shoot with Vanessa, and her BFF Josie, These girls know how to make each shot tell a story.

Later in the week, I had the opportunity to work with the Gorgeous "FHM" model Michelle. The ultimate professional and a stunning beauty, our shoot began in the pooring rain, but ended in an adventure that will be remembered by everyone involved for a lifetime...

*******"THE ADVENTURES OF JENN & JEFF Episode #1********

During our 1st shoot, Jenn removed a precious ring from her finger and laid it on her MU case in the car, I proceeded to place the MU case inside of the trunk, (for safe keeping). After the shoot, while driving back to her vehicle, Jenn realized that the ring was missing, and we began to tear the car apart(literally) looking for the missing ring. We decided to drive back to the last shoot location and look for the ring. With the daylight fading fast, we drove back to the location and frantically searched the area for the ring. After searching without success, I asked Jenn if she wanted to try the previous location also, with her hopes fading as quickly as the sunset, Jenn agreed it was at least worth a try. We drove to the darkened street and parked near a majestic church. As I exited the car and squinted to see a small glimmer of shine coming from the pavement just ahead. I ran towards it and found the missing ring in perfect condition. Jenn jumped with excitement and relief that the ring was found...and the adventure continues....Stay tuned...there's more.

After a model Flaked on me early this morning....(thanks for wasting my time) I called my muse and luckily She was available and excited to shoot...The day was warm (Not hot) but as long as we stayed out of the wind ...things were good. After watching the Zip line at Centennial Park...and having some weirdo throwing sticks through the trees in our direction... We returned to Irishtown Park and finished out the day... Witnessed two bald eagles swiping fish out of the lake and one of them stopped by to see what we were up too... and no I didn't get a shot of him....lol... anyway I was "ON" and more importantly Brit was "ON" and it really showed in the end result. So a day that started out bad ended up better than I could have hoped for...so to the "Model" who flaked on me ...Thank YOU !!!...cause if you had actually showed up ....I would have missed out...

Thanks Brit ...you are Awesome!!!

Our second shoot with the lovely Jessica, The day was warmer than it has been recently..and the sun made an appearance. We started out near an old mill, however the mid-day sun was too bright and made for some difficult shadows and harsh light....so we made our way to Centennial Park and once there found a soft-light washed area that made my work much easier. Jess looked awesome as usual and we made some incredible images together, and even though Jess was a little chilly near the end of the shoot, it was a tad warmer than the last time we worked together...

Thanks Jess....it was Fun !!...lookin forward to the next shoot...

On an equipment note...everything worked fine, including the new polarizer filter....and New lens...I might even keep it now.....then again.....lol

The weather was perfect...warm, sunny, with wispy soft white clouds, acting like nature's softbox. The water levels were very high and kept us from crossing the river. We shot for approx 3 hours and managed to get several awesome images...Equipment worked perfectly, and I tried my first attempt at HDR photography...Will post the resulting images as I get them processed..

Thanks to Julie for being such a great help ...and to Olivia for being an awesome model.

This was only her second time in front of the camera, but she looked awesome, The day started out with lots of sun and cold temps, although not too bad we still felt it after being out for about 2 hours. We shot a few locations with good light, and ended up at a church downtown. Even though she had limited experience, Kala was a real pro, and we got some wonderful images.

Well Today didn't work out the way it was planned earlier in the week, but it was worth the change in plans.. After my planned model had to cancel as she was sick, I replaced her with the one and only Brit, and although the weather was fairly warm, I wasn't really sure how the shoot would go. Today was the first time I have used the new Canon 50mm f1.8 lens and after getting used to it, I realized why the salesman told me that he had the same lens on his cam for three years. It worked great and the images turned out Spectacular !!

On the down side I managed to break my already broken tripod even more, breaking the grip right off the head, not sure why they called it the "Pro" model... cause it has only lasted since August... Think I'll be sending it back to SUNPAK along with a nasty letter about their shitty equipment.

Day was a complete Success.!!

Thanks Brit, you are a Natural !!
