K so I understand I havent submitted any dolls lately. This is partially because I'm lazy, and also the fact that two retail jobs towards Christmas time is pretty hectic. I have a certain doll that I cannot post until it is delivered to a certain person (Note to Scream: Note me your address so i can come deliver it sometime soon kk ) as it is a birthday gift. (rather belated now, but meh). Also I have been trying my hand at drawing and some more digital methods, as you may have seen. Pretty much me just trying to revisit some mediums that I havent used in over a year. Christmas shopping is also pretty crazy for me atm. I figured i'd get in a bit earlier than christmas eve this year. Thank god for ebay!!! Though i did buy myself a couple of thigs =/
Anyways, I appologise for the long pause in dolls. I will try to make the effort, possibly today between my two shifts -.-

A Jester? Cmon coulda given me something a lil easier! The hat alone is driving me nuts! Your'e damn well lucky i love u Friggin hell... clown even? NO u had to choose something with a friggin complicated hat! The hat would probly be easy enough if it was ppl sized.. but dolly sized?!?! >=O lol. If u dont like this i swear ima punch u in the face!

K so today i ahev to clean my room coz its an utter mess! (Booo! -.- ) And so anyways i think it needs some revampage. My posters being still in storage is leaving my walls incredibly bare. I think ima have to invest in some new poster mags... Maybe print some sweet pics from deviantart? hmmmmm decisions.... Anywho this will be more than a one day mission. methinks i will post some before and after shots

So i have one more dolly to post before i go to QLD. I will be there for 2 weeks so ther will be no more dolls or anything else til im back. If i get a chance to hop on a computer tho i will try and journal and be active.

Gah, they arent even lasting the 7days that i list my dolls on ebay for!

My latest boy doll that i listed on sunday sold last night (tuesday).

He is off to America to live with two of my other dolls

Hmmm well well well, im surprised it didnt start sooner. I have noticed a few similarities between my gallery, and that of

NO these are not my dolls, and its quite insulting that these were produced by who i thought was actually a friend of mine.
I'm not saying "i customize bratz dolls therefore NO ONE else can", its just such a coincidence that someone who has only occasionally dabbled in doll art (only after i did mind you) a couple of years ago, is all of a sudden back into it since my recent success in what i love to do.

For those who dont know, we were relatively close friends for about 3 years in high school, bonded over music and art. Though it was only a matter of time before i began to notice incidents like this.

If any of my long time deviant friends can remember my piece i did way back in year 10. It was a work for school, we had to refer to an issue or something like that (it was long ago ). I did my piece on child abuse. My work was somewhat a sculptural piece which consisted of a doll (a cheap, toddler girl doll) that i had painted, made clothes for, etc etc, and she was mounted on a large canvas with collage and painting behind her. The doll was fairly messed up and had gothic make up, cuts, blood, etc etc.
I HAVE NO LONGER GOT A PICTURE OF THIS IN MY GALLERY, BUT I WILL TRY MY HARDEST TO GET ONE UP HERE SO YOU CAN SEE.

Well anyways, a term or so later, this is produced:

Anyone who has seen my doll can recognise the similarity between these. Even mounted on a canvas in the same way as mine. Surprise surprise. As i said i will try to get a pic of mine up here.

More recently, i posted this:

Which i recently took down after spring cleaning my gallery. I posted it again purely to use in this journal, and it will probably be taken down again in the near future. Anyways, mine wasnt even finished, but i posted it as an example of some different styles i was trying.

Anyways, this piece was INSPIRED by Mark Rydens Clear Hearts Grey Flowers album cover (Jack Off Jill)

A week or so later, guess who else did a piece inspired by this?!?!?

Hmmm now who could that be i wonder?

Its not just me she does it to. Here is an example of an amazing work by Who also went to the same school as us. She had a lot of success with this series of wors, and it is easy to see why!
