I have copies of all the keys except my very small locker key. And the thing is...I put my locker key in that keychain 'cuz the key was too small to fit in my main beautiful keychain XD And guess what? He lost it -___- He lives kinda far away and we only meet on weekends. The first weekend, he forgot to bring them. The second weekend after, he didn't know where the keys went heh heh.

So....one month later, I told him to just give up on the search and go cut the lock. So we went to Canadian Tire and got this exact mini hacksaw:

to cut a frickin thick padlock LOL! I was asking him when we were choosing it, that wouldn't that be too thin & small. And he said, no no you don't know how fast this thing cuts through. So I was like, ok let's do it. We came back to my apartment and went down to the storage room...and cut like hell...cut....cut......cut..........cut..........c...u...t.....

It was so annoying hot there. But it was funny that he got so paranoid everytime he heard someone walked by 'cuz he afraid he'd get caught lol. And I kept telling him that nobody can get in unless they have the key for this specific storage room.

So yeah...with much effort and complaining, we got it done in about an hour. And I cut of a little bit of skin off my left thumb =3= But it was nice standing there most of the time watching him working shirtless (he needed some kind of cloth to hold the lock)...lol


---update---
He found the keys 2 weeks later. They somehow ended up in his sister's drawers. You can imagine his reaction after all this XDDDD

I'm having a summer holiday and enjoying my life XD!! But it's ending in 2 weeks, and I'll be in my final year of university. I'm planning to apply to grad school in Biomedical Communication (illustration/3D)...which hopefully I can get in. They only accept 16 students per year *sobs* Otherwise, I suppose I'll work for a year or two then try again. OMG...can't believe I'm gonna have to work full time now! I'm the type who prefer studying hahaha.

Yesterday, I just had the first job interview in my life, ever. It's a volunteer job at Toronto Rehab. But the interview and screening process there was quite formal. The interview was pretty long, and the lady kept throwing so many questions at me. I was pretty nervous (and the room was so cold arggg). But it went quite well >3<

So I -kinda- got the job at the neuro section, helping people with brain injuries, which is great 'cuz it's related to what I'm studying (psychology & human bio). I'll just have to wait for my references to fill some forms (which I don't know what it is, since the lady wouldn't let me see them lol) and then I'll have to attend orientation and start working! So excited >w<

My 3rd year university started for a week and a half, and I can't believe I have so much work already!! o_o

I decided to take a break from biology & chem stuff, so all of my courses are in psychology this year. The reading is crazy. One of my classes has 3 textbooks T-T And then we have to read scientific journals and research paper for group discussions.

I really love what I'm learning though. It's very fascinating. But I find it hard to read the books sometimes 'cause when I read a paragraph, there are so many questions in my head and I keep thinking and explaining different theories to myself. Then I read the next paragraph, and the same thing happens. It takes me so long to finish a chapter with all these thoughts.

I enjoy discussing things with one of my prof a lot though. She's sooo smart and answer my questions really well. It keeps my head from exploding haha. XD

But yeah, this year is busy again. I haven't had time to draw anything decent yet T-T

I just got a new monitor to use with my laptop (as an early B'day present from my dad, since he's not gonna be here in October ^ ^" ) HP 20" widescreen clear bright LCD. It's really nice, but the thing is, it's soooo frickin' too bright. Even if I set the brightness to 0 and contrast really low, it's still too bright. If I scan my pencil lineart, I won't be able to see all the lines with this monitor, but I can with my labtop. It's very saturated too, and I can't really do anything about it. I guess I have to do art in the old monitor anyway. The new one will be for movies and games lol.

My labtop's harddisk is burnt and it couldn't be fixed in time, plus my mom's computer was just broken. So I got a new one, and my mom took the old one. I got Vista. It's really crappy! lmao The security features are super annoying and not useful. It's not pretty (visual styles are way better). It's really hard to change the settings of everything. And other new features are kinda useless. =____= I so wanna change back to XP.

01 - Furikake is my snack. Yes, I eat pure furikake without rice or anything. It's pretty good o_o"

02 - I love to skip. I always skip around my room when I'm alone hahahaha >///<

03 - I eat icecream / drink cold drinks all year round. Even when it's freezing outside, I'd still go an buy icecream, and eat it while walking on the street. (I can't really take hot stuff though.)

04 - Ok...I'm kinda scared of an escalator -__-" I know it's so stupid, but every time I'm on one, I feel like it's gonna break and fall down. And appearantly I love rollercoasters, drop towers, whatever you name it.

05 - I do not have a sleeping pattern. (Is that really a weird habit? XD~)

06 - Oh...I always think about the meaning of life in a serious manner every time I'm studying for big exams. And I don't know why it has to be before exams that these things pop up in my head.....

Skin color? lol I love hot tone colors (red, orange, reddish purple, reddish pink).

7] What area of the pictures do you put most effort into?
Definitely the face, and then hair and little details in the clothes.

8] How long does it take you do draw a picture?
Depends...on many things. The truth is, I never really look at the time lol

9] Do you keep your rough drafts?
My drafts normally sucks..and really messy too, so I throw them away XD But I keep the ones I really like and the ones I drew in my sketchbook ('cuz I can't throw that way, right?).

10] What kind of font do you use most often?
Haha I have tons and tons of fonts in my computer. Although what I use most often is probably Times New Roman 12pt because all of my profs/TAs demand it (for essays/reports) -___-"

11] What's the dpi when you scan?
300-600, depending on how detailed I need it to be.

12] Do you do anything else when you're drawing pictures?
I do many things like chatting, listening to the music, eating, watching TV, talking to somebody on the phone (seriously XD)

Depends on my mood, inspiration, and how much free time I have.

Printer paper. =v= I like the smoothness (and actually have no idea what different kinds of paper are).

I was reading the textbook, and the writer of the text did some experiment on training his fish!! He said he trained his fish to swim clockwise & counter-clockwise before it can get food. And there is this other guy who trained his gold fish to push a table-tennis ball around, and pull a string attach to a small bell when it wants food...

I wanna try that too!!!! lol Seriously gonna go buy a fish.

ps. If you are curious, the "gold fish have really short memory" is not true~ (At least they have long-term implicit memoty, if you know what I'm taking about)

Not the usual I-have-no-idea-what-to-draw artist block, but the opposite.

I have so many ideas of what to draw, but appearantly my ability doesn't match my good ideas. And when ever I try to draw the picture I have in my head, I can't get the harder pose, anatomy, or perspective right. Then my art will turn out to be something easy & normal again.

It's a little frustrating to think that I have to practice a lot more, and that it may take months to finally be able to what I have in mind right now.

Last week was my Grad Ceremony + Prom (it's not really a prom at my school...just a very nice, formal dinner ^^; ) I had a lot of fun!!! =D My friend & I went to a dance & then the karaoke after the prom & came home at 3...=P That karaoke was so funny...The walls between each room are very thin, so we could hear everything. And there was a korean girl in the next room singing "Since you been gone" (by Kelly Clarkson.) She sang with really funny exaggerated vibrations that made everyone in my room laugh to death. So, then we open Since You Been Gone too, and sang just like she did....lol :rofl: That was the funniest thing ever....I wonder if she heard us...:lmao:

The Concert>>>
On Sunday night I went to Kelly Clarkson concert in Vancouver!!! I was very excited!!! I love her!!! :love:~~~~ She is sooooooo GOOD!!!!!! I knew she was good...but yeah...she's really good. She sang every song (no lip singing...of course) and her voice is great!! I'd definitely go to her concert again. :heart: :heart: :heart: :heart: :heart:

My dad took me to the concert on Sunday & he parked his rented car in the carpark place underground. And when we came back...we found out that somebody broke into the car!!!! :steaming: There was no damage to the car...but the car key doesn't fit the whole in the door anymore. My dad's bag was stolen!!!!!!! ARGGGGG!!! So mad!!! OK...this is the list of what's stolen...
- my laptop (which I switched with my dad's because my VDO card is not working....so it's actually my dad's then, but it was mine before...confusing? ^^; )
- my dad's palm cellphone...(I don't know the word)
- my dad's camera
- my parents passports & plane tickets
- my grad hat + certificate & scholarship letter
- my CD bag with ~30 CD's in it
- my skirt (which was outside of my dad's backpack...it's weird that they took my skirt but didn't take my dad's jacket = ="...maybe it's a female thief)
- a few more things in that backpack

One more interesting thing is that our car was parked right in front of the customer service. My dad still thinks there's a team in there that steal stuffs...like the guard's team or somthing...'cuz who'd do it in front of the guard's office. = ="

We went to the police station & told them everything. They just took notes...but I don't think they're gonna try to do anything. :no: Too bad, my dad didn't buy an insurance before he came to Canada. And this happen on their last day in Canada...what a bad experience! (But they were able to go back to Thailand, so that's good.)

Sorry for not replying anything for soooo long :no: I'm in Rome right now with my friends for spring break. It's really beautiful here. I'm gonna be here for 2 more days, and then we'll go to France. =D I'm gonna take lots of pictures and post them on DA for sure!

This is the most stupid thing, ever!!!! :pissedoff:
I got my TOEFL score today....I got 267 & 4.5 on the essay...
The point is that I need 5.0 on the essay because most universities accept the score of 5.0. BUT!! They only want 230 on the grammar part.

When I knew I got 4.5 on the essay, I got so mad 'cuz if you think of it this way...you have to pay $175(Canadian dollar) just for 0.5 essay score...it's such a waste of money!! :angered: If my score was lower than 230, then I won't matter. I will take it again. But my score was high, and I STILL have to take it again. doh. And I already did it twice, now I have to do it for the third time. It's just stupid....So many people waste so much money on this.

My teacher told me I write too complicated on the test...what the heck? He said I have to write it like grade 8 level. Now, that's the second stupid thing about it. You have to write really really simple on the essay, and most of the time you can't help it 'cuz you can explain things better using more complicated words. ARGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just want to break that TOEFL computer!!!

well, i went to the airport at 6.30am. and i realized that my visa was expired when i checked in!!!!!! :eyepopping: XXXXXXXX~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So i had to go back home!!!! >_
I blame it on my international program teacher. When i was still in canada, she took my passport & said that she will get a new visa for me. And she returned my passport to me with a green paper. I thought that the green thingy was the visa (well, she told me she would get a visa for me!!!) But i just realized today that the thing is not a visa....it's a study permit!!!!!! >__<

I was so shocked!! My school is already started. & i will miss a week of school. i hate catching up =o=

the first thing i would do when i arrive in canada is to kill my teacher!!!!!! :evillaugh:

but one good thing is....i get to go to a party with my friends next week =D :dance:

sorry i didn't check the messages for a long time....i've just come back from another trip to whistler. it's a choir trip. we got to sing & perform a lot. we stayed at a hotel for 4 days. it was so nice there!! all sunny & warm.

one funny thing is that we got to play the secret buddy game. i've got a buddy that was in the same room as me. so it was so hard to give her stuffs without letteng her know that i'm her buddy. so i got a girl from another room to come and knock the door & pretend that the gifts are from a person from another room. it was funny cuz she was guessing all these names that she thought it was here buddy's with me =P & i pretended that i didn't know anything :lmao: & i got to see all of her reaction when she got the stuffs from me...haha!! i'm like them a lot :laughing: & on our way back home i told her that i was her buddy & she looked all surprised. she said to me "OMG!! u r so sneaky!!" lol :dance: i got lots of food from my buddy too...& i knew my buddy was a guy, but i didn't know which one tho. cuz i know guys only give food to their buddies!! haha =D

I've just come back last 2 day from an super amazing, awesome trip!!

12 ppl went on this bio field trip.(5guys 7girls from grade11&12) We travelled on a ship(u can see the pic in ~nelesiafoto). It's not a huge ship, but it's pretty big. Our bed was really really small but comfortable enough tho. We had to wake up at 5.30 or 6 am every morning. The students were divided into 4 groups of 3. Each group have to do different jobs & we swap 3 times a day...the jobs are
1) cleaning (the floor/dishes/toilet)
2) naturalist (watch nature/go kayaking or hiking)
3) cooking (the food was amazingly good!!!!)

1st day
We went to tsawwassen ferry port & took the ferry to victoria. Then took a taxi to another port & got on to the ship we were staying. I couldn't sleep at all 'cuz it was freezing cold.

2nd day
We sailed to an island(cant remember the name^^;), anchored, & went kayaking to another island near there(it was pretty far actually). On that day we saw some seals, 'bout 30 of 'em. But i didn't bring my camera :cries: So disapointed. Then we sailed again. There were some porpoises(about 10) playing with the waves made by the ship. I took a vdo of them. I used a sleeping bag on that night & it wasn't cold anymore. :dance:

3rd day
My group had to cook breakfast, but we went kayaking & hiking before that. When we were climbing up, everyon left their jackets hanging a tree. My group had to come down first 'cuz we had to cook. We had a brilliant plan. We removed all the jackets from that tree & hung them on a tree further down hill. Then we used a really really long stick to hang our teachers' jackets up high (a little bit higher that 2m). It worked well.....hahahaha :rofl: :rofl:

after breakfast we kayaked again & went to see the sea lions. OH MY GOSH!!! THEY STANK LIKE A 1-MONTH-OLD-DEAD ELEPHANT!!!!! & our instructer siad that it's normal = =" There were more than a hundred of them. They swam close to the kayaks too, like 5 meters away...it was amazing to see them tho they stank so bad....yuck...:dead: & again....my camera's battery was dead!!! :cries: shit shit shit!!(sorry for swearing) We saw so many good things on that day :cries:

On our way back from the sea lions, we saw a river otter rolling in a patch of sand on the island. It was just 2 meters above us......& my frickin battery :cries: argggggg!!!

We played lots of games that evening.

4th day
We went kayaking & hiking like every day. We saw lots of crabs & sea stars on the rocky island. We saw a bald eagle's nest, & a goose's nest. (oh it was awesome!! =D) We went back to the boat & we swam. I jumped off the front of the boat into the ocean:!: It was almost 4m tall (so high >_< i was thinking for 10min before i jumped^^;) The water was like ice :wow: I was so numb, i didn't feel anything & just swam for the ship. everyting is so sore...neck, shoulders, arms, wrists, legs, back, ankle...(basically everyting =_= )

i took half a day off school yesterday...really couldn't get up (we left to snowboard at 4am & came back @ 7pm) so i was exhausted >_<

but i will do it again if i have a chance ^__^ i like this kind of sport

my best friend skied & she didn't hurt anything except her shoulders...(envy her)...i should've ski...skiing is a lot easier & u don't hurt yourself as much.....but snowboarding is more fun....so nevermind...i'm glad i snowboarded =D

i still don't understand painter7....it's really hard to make the brush >_< but i luv the way u choose the colours in painter

i don't understand why it's so hard to smudge in painter & oC...so now i kind of switch between oC & photoshop which is really silly ^^;

i came back from thailand & i found snow everywhere :omg:
it's everywhere!! everything's white!!!!!
i didn't expect this much snow 'cuz ppl told me that we don't really have snow here....they say this year it's amazing!!

my school closed for half a day today~~
hehe..so happy!!

i don't know why i couldn't sleep well for 2 nights since i came back here...maybe because the time change... :worry: i don't feel sleepy at all even tho it's night time o_o

&i'm going back to thailand on sunday!!! :dance: so happy~~

i've just come back from a concert...i sang in the concert with the school choir..it was really really good & fun :!: actually, our choir was the guest of another men choir :sing: ...we sang together and stuff..at the first half of the concert, the men choir was singing on their own..and we were watching..and our choir were talking & passing stuff around (we were really bad)..& our teacher got really mad..he was yelling at as at the break..it was SO SCARY!! he never yell at us or get angry before (he is really kind) but this time itwas like...just so scary..and he told us to concentrate & stuff.....

so we were performing at the second half...& it was amazing!! everybody concentrated & sing really loud...like...it's not what we normally do...we always talk & look around...but this time it was so different...it was really really good!!!!!

after the show, my teacher couln't stop smilling =D hehe~~ he was like..so happy...(yeah, of course! we did great 8) ) and he said to us "i think i have to yell at u guys more often!" haha~ it was so funny...i had a great tome on the last day of school.....:floating:
