Hey everyone. The place my mum and I are staying at has internet access...scaryily slow for such a good looking computer, but anyway, I bored so I'll tell you all thats happened so far.
Oh yeah, I'm to fiji btw.

DAY 1

Got up at 6 o'clock...frekin early, but I did get my sorry arse out of bed.
Went to airport. I swear to god I saw Guy Sebastian there. Then I blinked and he dissapeared...very strange. The plane to Sydeny was delayed for about 1 and a half hours. But it was ok.
When we arrived in Sydney everyone was in a big rush; since our melbourne plane was delayed, the plane to Fiji had to wait. When mum and I finially arrived at the international terminal the plane was having it's final call.
After getting on the plane there was a good hour until it actually left, something about luggage i spose, since everyone was on the plane.
Anyhow, I got a window seat ;D which was good, I really love flying. Mum was next to me and then some guy who we later found out to be a crew manager for reality TV shows (like the amazing race

Blahblahblah. Arrived at Nadi in Fiji after some very dissapointing movies on the trip. Learnt that most Melbournites lost their luggage in Sydney, but luckily we didn't, so we just got a taxi to the hotel.

DAY 2 (HAHA yes, there are more days!)

Didn't sleep very well. Mum decided we should go into Nadi that day to see what the towns are like. I learnt something: Stay the hell away from markets. The guys there pounce on you like ..like... big scary killer sharks.
It was funny though, we went to the bank and there's security at the door that locks it after every person walks through. On closer inspection I saw black baton. FOr clubbing bad guys I would supose.

DAY 3 (Only 8 minutes left on the timer v__v)

Went on a cruise to one of those tiny little islands that you could walk around in half an hour. During the cruise we got to see the island 'Cast Away' (with Tom hanks) was filmed on. WILLLSSOONN. ANyway, I went snoorkling for the first time ever. Great fun. There were so many fish it was amazing. And these really pretty blue starfish was everywhere..like.. burning blue.. anyway.. moving right along. SO we got back to our hotel, and I was just getting out of the shower when I heard mum break something. She told me to be calm about it; she needed serious help. There was blood eall over the floor. I almost fainted (not really). I got mum heaps of towel, which she put on her foot, and they were completely red within a fewe minute, by that time the hotel staff we called had come up and we went to the hostpital...ACK I OUT OF TIME >< 3 mins remaining. I'll finish this when I get back *cliff hanger*

Okayy, now where was I...right, the hostpital. So this phillipino(spl??) doctor came out and started poking around in mum's foot, because a glass jar has smashed onto her foot there may have still been glass in the wound, now, at this point of time no one really knew how big the wound was, because it just kept on bleeding, even when the doctor got cotton wool balls and whatnot, it was still bleeding. It was quite amazing actually, how calm mum was at the time. She didn't even squint in pain let alone cry. We had three of the staff from the hotel with us: Lamber, Alfred and Patrina (all the names are wrong because I'm a goldfish, exept for Alfred, you can't forget that name). So Lamber, who owns the hotel, was taking care of a lot of the paperwork. Alfred and Patrina were keeping mum company by making jokes and just talking in general, while I sat there with wet hair hoping to god everything would be alright.

Eventually the doctor (who not only couldn't speak english very well, but also had a speach imparement), started putting in stiches. Even after three stiches the cut kept bleeding. Mum thought it must have been an artery, since there was so much blood, but the doctor was sure there were no arteries near there. After the fourth stich the ting stopped bleeding, and mum had to force the hostpiatal to get her some antibiotics (for those who don't know, they stop you from getting really bad infections etc. , so your leg doesn't drop off), and then got a script for a full pack of them and some other stuff.

Friday was 'study skills' day for year 11s at my school. Since we're starting VCE (last two years of high/senior school before uni, im not sure how this works in countries other than Australia), we had a bunch of people talk to us about motivation, goals, skills, homework timetables etc., not very interesting, but we got free food never-the-less.

Anyway, I've finaly finished a picture of my character Choas (about time too!!!), after a couple of days colouring in Painter IX (<3), so it should be in my most recent pics. I'm still deciding on her colour scheme and pant's design, which I might end up turning into a skirt or something *ponders*

Nothing Much to report. Im sunburnt, because Im stupid enough to not know being in the sun for 15 mins can burn you, and I spent about 3 hours there. Although I amazingly feel better sunburnt than I did while I was vitamin D deprived :3

In lighter news, Im completely obsessing over the fact I got the Moulin Rouge soundtrack from my sister. Im also very slowly trying to learn japanese. And Im most definantly looking forward to VCE next year (for those who dont know, VCE is Australia's version of senior school), although im slightly regreting not choosing an art subject.
