In graphic related news.. Ive been drawing a bit.. though not a whole lot. Im working on reworking my OCs and begining a Kingdom Hearts fic as well as working on a new OC for a Final Fantasy fic that I will probably never have the guts to write for fear of destroying the fandom. I just havent drawn anything worth really uploading recently.. so Ill probably make a sketches compilation at some point or another. I have alot of art I need to get off my bum and color.. but my eyes still dry out too easily and so it makes that difficult since I habit of not blinking often when I do graphical work.

I saw a cornia specialist a month ago and am on medication to treat the issue. My vision is vastly improved. I went from seeing less in my glasses than without them to being able to see mostly clear in my new glasses. Im not allowed to wear contacts right now, which is most inconvient, but at least I can see. Reading is slowly coming along. I can read in small doses. At work Im fine except in drivethru where my lightsensitivity comes too much into play and the Texas sun blinds me. I see the specialist again tomorrow afternoon after my cornia scans are done at their partner facility. Im hoping he doesnt drop me to two drops a day immediently.. because Im used to 4 a day and spacing it out farther will dry my eyes out horribly. Ill have to see what he says tomorrow.

In graphical news, Ive been lightly sketching again. Bit of a block going on. I have plenty to draw, but everything either looks awful or I can pick a topic. I completed an art trade, and am open to others. Granted she didnt want artwork in return.. she was thrilled with what she did request.

Im hoping to get some more drawing and writing done soon.

Im going to be slowly going through my gallery and favorites and moving things into collections. Ive already begun for my favorites.. mostly to create a little area for my resources. Ill be moving things into catagories soon to make things easier to see.

The only real thing I am sad with on the collections is that when you move the thing into a catagory in your favorites it doesnt move it completely.. so I hope I dont put them in multiple times.. that would be lame.

Anyway.. just thought I would give a heads up. My vision is also coming back slowly.. so hopefully I can start whipping out some of the artwork Ive been itching to do soon

- Moved all facebook artwork to the main gallery. Looking at things.. they are more art than scrap.. so I wanted them there. Sorry to spam your watches. I also added a new one.

- Been slowly working my way through that CaramellDansen thing. Im mostly having issues choosing what I want me to look like.

- Been wanting to draw really badly, but Im having optical issues (i.e. I need new non-blurry contacts and I broke my glasses and no money till tax checks come in)

-Im probably going to be going through my gallery a bit more and moving some things out of scraps. Sorry in advance. No ETA on that since I know Ill probably be too lazy or my vision too blurry to tackle it right away.

Graffiti is really the only thing I can do right now.. those dont have to look fantastic so it doesnt matter if I cant see. *sigh*

I want to make one of me doing that silly little dance. ^.^ W00t! I am the ubergeek!

So I need to re-download Flash, play around with buttons to try to remember how to use it until my eyes bleed, draw up a sample to decide how i want me to look, design my background, and figure out how to add the ringtone (i.e.shortened version) of Caramelldansen to it so it can be all cute like. Then I have to figure out how to turn the .swf file into an animated .gif and eventually turn it into icons!

I have no freaking clue where to begin. *sigh*

Ideas, suggestions, help?

Ive also been doing alot of work on my OCs. Ive always drawn some form of myself, and now that things like Gaia and World of Warcraft are being moved past, I want to focus on them more. They are extentions of myself and they deserve alot more attention.

Anyway, I just figured I would warn in case you all get tons of watch notes about things. I dont know how long it will take to finish, but I will begin lightly tonight and try to complete it by tomorrow, luckily my gallery is tiny. *shrug*

Currently, I am working on my personal site alot. Ive been wanting to add my artwork to that site for a while, but I just hadnt made it happen. I have known for months that I wanted a new artwork logo, but I just couldnt choose what it should be. All I really knew was that I have grown past the use of nicknames on everything. My sites and evolved, but still use a nickname. Nevermore is slowly becoming a name of the past. Its really hard for me to explain, but basically.. in terms of my artwork I have wanted to start signing my name.

So, I have created a new logo, you can see it in my gallery as I just submitted it a few moments ago. I can only pray that you wont all hate me. Slowly but surely, before the end of the year I will be reuploading my entire gallery. *avoids the tossing of papers and fruits* I want to change some sizes, and add the new logo to each peice. It will be a long and slow process and I have yet to choose a default size range for my artwork, but things will be happening on it all soon.

I mainly figured I owe it to you all to at least give a heads up. On the brightside, you will be able to relive alot of my art Stuff you havent seen in a while.. it might be fun right?

Please dont hate me!! *hides*

EDIT:: Well.. I have given it thought, and I dont think that I will be relabeling ALL of my artwork. I think that instead only certain peices will be relabeled and most of the newest things will be relabeled.. so that will save you all a headache. Ill be taking my time about making it happen though.. cause I am a little preoccupied right now. Ive got a bit of an artist block right now.. and so its making me not really want to touch any of my artwork right now.

Bad news.. is that my laptop, which I hardly care about these days, is on its last leg and will die soon more than likely, but it also needs reformatted like.. badly. So who knows, maybe after the reformat it will be a bit better off.

Good news is, that I only had 6GB of importance on there, and I was able to get it all transferred over to the teeny harddrive that I currently have on my desktop (until I can afford my new harddrive) and so it is safe and secure here. Bad news.. is that Ill be focusing on them as well.. so art will be slightly slower again, no where near as slow as it was before.. I will need a break from the sites from time to time and my art is a good attention/time sink.

But yeah, I just felt it was my duty to say something because Im far too excited about it

I will currently take art trades/requests from Sailor Moon, Kingdom Hearts, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Disney. I reserve the right to refuse any request that I believe will never be possible for me to do in my current skill-level.

Any art trades that you choose, you will be asked to draw my Original Characters Aurora and Twilight. It will be the girls together, the girls with their love interests, or one girl with a love interest. Details will happen depending on what is requested. Trades need to be fair. If you want cg work, you need to offer work of the same value. Dont request cg and give a low detail sketch in return, that will be frowned upon.

Ive been drawing a bit lately (God forbid!) and Ill eventually get off my ass and scan the damn things. I really really want to get back into drawing.. I want to draw things from Disney, Kingdom Hearts, and Cardcaptor Sakura the most right now.. but I hate my skill level and just know Im going to mess the images up so badly it will dissway me from ever drawing them again. I miss the days when I was a kid and had strength in my left hand and used to draw disney so often that you couldnt tell the difference between the real thing and my art.. oh well.. time passes.. I should get over that and just practice I suppose.

Still wanting a tablet.. but saving for a new harddrive has kinda put that dream on a shelf for now.

So upon signing in, I had 4 journals to read. All well and good... deleted them and noticed something missing... there was no notice about the 600+ pictures I had been putting off look at for the last month.... they were gone...

Some how or another, Dev deleted them all! So not cool! I wanted to look at all those!!! Wahh! I dont think that its because of how long they were up there.... I left 1000+ messages up there for 4-5 months during that Hiatus I took over the winter months.

So Im sad. I wanted to look at those. Stupid Deviant.

Anyway... as for me, I havent been drawing lately. I have two real pictures and a few scraps to upload at some point.... the pictures arent scanned.... not sure I want them to be scraps or not... just dont know and really dont feel like photoshopping them lately. Just havent uploaded or scanned alot of the shit. We are still very slowly falling into our apartment.. its not fully unpacked or decorated. We've both been sick off and on and just dont have the energy to do it... I need to remember to call Salvation Army so they can come pick up our old beds...

Anyway... Ill update again once Im out of this drawing funk.. more than likely with some WoW art... Im a bit burned out on Gaia right now.. trying to decide if I even want to bother playing anymore.

Im mainly just adding in better quality pictures, smaller in pixel size so they load faster (well.. some.. not all) and with faded sigs on them.

Its just something I wanted to do for a while now and I finally have the time and internet.

On the brightside. There is NO NEW ARTWORK. So you can just kinda overlook everything if you want. Any new artwork I have been working on wont show up until at least next weekend sometime when the scanner is unpacked and accessible... silly new apartments.

Also; for those of you who dont know, I lived in New Braunfels, Texas from July 1990 until November 2003. Sucky tourist town stuffed with stick up their asses German people who are older than the United States... Dont live there. Anyway, I lived with my mother until 2002. Her home is RIGHT on Lake Dunlap.. or at least one of it's canals. If you have no knowledge of this area, then you wouldnt know that if the Canyon Lake Dam over flows or breaks, it backs up into Lake Dunlap.. or more specifically, the Canals. In 1998 we had a nasty little flood because they had to let some water out of the Canyon Dam before it busted, but they couldnt let it out slow enough.

The flood was devistating. My mother still cant sleep through a rain storm and has never been able to make it more than 15 minutes into the movie Titanic. I lost alot of my possessions in it. It was helpful.. better than a garage sale.. I regret it because I lost many many antique hardbound novels. But worse for you.. I lost 53 sketchbooks and four 2inch binders stuffed with printer paper drawings in that flood. Nope. Not a typo. 53 sketchbooks and four 2inch binders... those binders hold about 350 pages each.. and I know I had to have stuffed more than that into each one. I hate that I lost all that artwork. Although it was all in pencil, color pencils and crayons and markers.. it was my art. Some was in Charcoal pencil and oil pastels. The only image I have from those books is the "Lost Lenore" that you see in my gallery. I had scanned it in at some point before the flood. I believe it was for a school power point presentation. I remember drawing it for something Edgar Allen Poe related. I used it in web design afterwards.

The point of that story was to tell you this. I was cleaning out my CDs and I found the most wonderous thing! I had stopped drawing for ages after the flood. I was too disappointed over my loss. Sometime in 2000 I began playing Neopets, with my first steady account, Moonfairy16. It was unfairly iced, but thats ok. I dont play the site anymore anyway. Before I drew that Robin/Raven picture, even before I discovered Gaia and began seriously drawing again, I had done a few peices of Neopets artwork. Well, lo and behold, I had it saved onto a CD of things I had long since backed up off my harddrive. It was an exciting find. So I have added them in. Most are sketches, two are colored. They can be found in my scraps.. so please check them out.. just remember their age. I colored them in paint.. so they suck ass.. but they are still fun to look at. I think the one of the Light Faerie I might color.. I like the way it looks. I believe there was another I did.. so Ill be searching for it too. I hope you like them! I find it funny that I had drawn myself in there as well. I have been trying to draw myself again lately, but here is one I of myself long ago. I had pink highlights one weekend and drew those in.. Finds like this are just funny.. really makes your relive your past. Makes me wish I had all that artwork form 1986-1998... that would make me the happiest person on the planet.

Im in an artsy mood lately, so I am hoping to have more done.. however, my mood also has me coding again.. so some time may be spent on my websites instead.. but we will see.

Also.. new DevID. I changed up the piccus for the most part, and removed the "Nevvy" slide to place in my sig image.

From now on, all completed artwork will be submitted as a normal deviant. But also, all work will have their sketch submitted as well. The sketches will be tossed over into the scraps though. Sketches will be uploaded before artwork is, so if you want to see a first glimpse of whatever I am working on, then you should enable your watch to tell you when I update with a new scrap.

I still have a few sketches left to color, but for the most part I am down to having very few peices of work left to do that arent complete. Im really proud of myself considering how many I got drawn and colored this month even if it was the worst month in the world to be drawing.

My divorce is final and I am moved back to Texas. Unfortunatly my internet access limited. My scanner is packed, but my boyfriend has a killer scanner that I have been using instead, which explains some of the lag in reuploading everything. I rescanned all my work and so the quality is much better than it was before. There was only a few sketches that could not be rescanned due to loss of them, or them since being colored.
