In other news, I just got my hands on a Nikon F100 and plan to upload some shots from it soon. I would love any tips on film as I'm much more used to using the D200. Also if anyone has any tips on how to get the images from film to my computer that would be greatly appreciated!

Jesus Fest 4 was awesome there was like 16 or so local bands respresnting many genres. I only got shots for like 6 of the bands. I had a blast. There was some incredible talent. A bunch of my friends were either in the bands or at the show.
Virtues Fallen did their last show. It was bananas! Check out who is/was in that band.

My thoughts are as follows.
In America we live better than most kings from any time in history.

That can be a real good and bad thing at the same time.

The good is we have a chance to be whatever we want to try to be.
If you really want to do something the only real force in the way is yourself.
The ways to make make money, succeed or live out dreams are abundant.

The bad thing is our hearts can tend to grow cold and hard.

We can find ourselves feeling as if the world is coming to an end because we missed the season finale of our favorite show. Or if we get a sliver. Or if we don't get the newest technological device on the market, the minute it hits the market. Or if we... point is made I think.

The problem is the are much bigger issues in the World today but we are numbed and indifferent to them because we are in the business of Self. Where our number one concern is Self. I don't think that was ever the heart of the American dream. My hope is my life would a life that goes beyond. That the scope of my concern would be greater than my own kingdom.

That I could make a difference. As a Pawn among Kings.

Well, I've owned the D100 for a while now and it is a decent little tool. There are, however, some qualms I have with it also. As a wedding photographer I need a camera with a bit more power. Well folks I have found that such camera. The Nikon D2X!!! 12.4 effective megapixels, 5fps, ownership! The crazy thing is, if you are not satisfied with that speed this monster can cut the shooting space on it's senor in half (down to like 6.2 PIXELS) AND SHOOT 8FPS!!! pretty flippin sweet! There are a ton of other reasons you should buy me this camera but I'll just tell you one more: this sick puppy can operate on a wireless lan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes you can control the camera completely wirelessly and transfer images wirelessly also! So what are you waiting for send your money to 1101 Iwishihadfivethousanddollars lane right now!!!
