I'm so busy with work I almost forgot about this thing

I feel like I've become more well rounded as an artist, and will upload images of my work from this year as soon as finals are over.

I've done so much this year, its hard to believe that I'll be leaving for three months...

I'm still in the trad. animation department, and will start to take actual animation classes next year...i plan on focusing on trad. animation and film, i want to be a female miyazaki, but i know i have to start from the ground up. almost all of my friends in the department are taking electives in digital animation, but i plan on branching out into film, not cg...

after 5 years, i finally received the settlement from a law suit, and i was able to buy the rest of the stuff i needed for school, even clothing, and the hard drive!

and thanks to the kindness of a family friend, i received a refurbished macbook....free of charge =o

i still have quite a bit left for the year, and i can't believe the generosity of people in my family, friends of the family...


on a more negative note:

what happened to eden-enchanted?? i know i've been AWOL for about a year, but I still used to check online to see if people were correctly using my templates. does anyone know what happened to the site? i was actually thinking about rebuying my website...i might have to do that since EE is no longer online. =[ its like the pixel avatar community has really disappeared...inspirations like Angy and Francesca no longer update their websites...can someone re-inspire me please??

hopefully this will change in a few weeks, when i finally move into Pratt, go to school, and look for work.

I have to buy a 200$ external hard drive, i have no idea how i'm going to do it.

my party money went to gas and pretty much helping out around the house, plus some stuff for the dorm. necessities...blehhhh

i'm on vacay at my aunt's until august 11, so if someone wants to commission me (PLEASEEEE) I won't be able to work until i get home and have access to my supplies.

My sugar starts to go wacky at around 9, and if you know me you know how silly I get around that time. Then lately at around 11 I get this crazy boost of energy, as if I took an 8 hour nap in a single second. Odd.

So I'm super stoked for Pratt. Finally have some new work up.

If I haven't responded to e-mails or messages, please excuse me, I've been very busy with issues around the house, actually drawing, and basically my last summer as a high school student.

I read the entire Twilight series within three days last week. I usually don't go for teen books, or vampire books for that matter. But Meyer's writing style is very fluid, and her characters seem so real. I've preordered Breaking Dawn already >.< haha And of course I will from this day foward compare my future boyfriends to Edward Cullen, its about time girls realized that they could have such high standards. I really think the book could change the way teenage girls look at relationships, in a good way. Girls might just stop settling for the guys that are abusive or unloving.

Stroudfest officially starts on Sept. 1st on Main St. in stroudsburg PA

My artwork will be on display and for sale at the Main St. Jukebox record store

The owner hung them up today, so you can see them this week too<3

I went to officemax before dropping them off and made prints of them, and I almost cried! I felt like I was sending my kids of college >.< well I'm 17 years old and have no children, so yeah lol

It would mean so much to me if someone took the time to go down, visit, look, and buy something! Or at least look at them!!

A lot of the stores on that street let local artists display and sell their work for free and I was given a spot at the Main Street Jukebox

right now i'm focusing on becoming slightly 'known' in the area i moved to. there's a lot of places nearby that display the work of local artists and sell them. But its all the same stuff to me. I want to explode on the scene with intense colors, unexpected realism and well just plain old feeling. I LOVE COLOR. An artist should use the gift to its complete extent. I'm also planning on doing commissions in the area, I already have a perspective buyer (I <3 U MUFFIN)

I still have A LOT to learn though. My lazy side is totally kicking in, and then senioritis is beginning to creep up on me and I didn't even start school yet

so i was so excited, and i called school of visual arts, and within five minutes i was set!

so last minute, but its actually happening! cant wait omg

i switched my room around, moved my screen behind my chaise, and put my sister's bookshelf where it used to be, now my other bookcase is not overflowing, and peeps can now view my amazing collection of antique and coolio reference books haha *nerd*

so me and muffin went to philly on sunday, first we went to king of prussia, and i found not 1, but 2 REASONABLY priced dresses! *le gasp!* and i dearly love them

my graphic design class started out okay on monday, a little slow, but tuesday was much more interesting, interesting as in i woke up with a cold sore, but we rode the trains by ourselves *which was awesomeee* and in class we created some ad layouts *which was also awesome*

then 2am came, and i woke up with a headache, and a swollen face and glands *le gasp numero 2*

so i called my parents and they came to pick me up at around 6am


oh yeah, and on tuesday, i bought the cutest pair of pink faux suade pumps from payless for like 10 bucks, and get this, i grabbed the wrong box on my way out and they're like A WHOLE HALF SIZE SMALER than what i needed ={ but my mom wants them so i gave them to her. OMG I LOVED THEM.

*sigh* i hope Muffin had a good time without me there, i would have much rather have been chillin and livin the big city life instead of being couped up at home like a country bumpkin ={

well the dirty is done. Hafey's closed forever, and I have pretty much a full 3 months of nothing to do. righteoussss

i thought the butterfly effect was trippy, but no! 'STAY' (starring ewan mcgregor!) blew the sheit out of ashton kutcher's nosebleeding ass!!! after i watched it, i felt like i had just taken a double dose of a dimetap, spun around, and nothing was real anymore!! omg!

so i'm starting to kick myself in the behind. i want to try my hands at drawing a manga again. i have a lot of scripts written, but none are finished, and i can't decide on an idea. i'm not sure if i should try a traditional comic book, or a japanese-styled manga. who knows. maybe i could mix both somehow.

i have so much to upload, but they're all photos taken of my work. and they're on a dinky disposable, so i have to wait til i run out of photos so i can get it developed.

the new stuff is mostly commissions i did for people for mother's day, black and white pencil drawings of photos they gave me. and i did them for free. >={ I am done with free commissions.

The other is something for a logo contest and an art project where we had to parody a famous artwork. yeah.

ok so my dog got attacked by a pitbull while my dad was walking him, and we had to take him to t-ville to a vet hospital, and then my dog was tripping out on the pain meds...i feel so sorry for him! he has a huge hole in his neck ={

i've spent pretty much the past 5 days on long island, and i'm really bored. the food is good, the cousins are adorable...but right now i really want to just kick back and watch hana yori dango season 2. because woot i love matsumoto jun, even though he is relehhh weird looking XD

i'm watching 'Love Revolution' right now

It's really interesting, its about women with careers and their unlucky love lives. If you want to know what I'm like in person, look up the main character Asaoka Kyoko, like her I have no idea how to handle relationships, and I sometimes jump into things too quickly, and sometimes I get pretty jealous. But yeah. She's awesome because she's a heart surgeon XD

so i stayed home from school again today...and even though i get an extra 4 hours of sleep, i'm still sick, so it cancels each other out.

I really want to improve my digital painting skill...>.< i've been practicing like crazy, but i'm never satisfied. Its probably due to the fact that I'm still unfamiliar with photoshop, corel, open canvas...etc...I love Paintshop Pro but I don't have it on my new computer! And I used to adore drawing in mspaint, but I just can't seem to find inspiration for pixel art =/ .

About that there pixel art...Some of my lovely visitors know me from my website [link] or from Eden Enchanted, and those faithful to my website might have noticed the fact that I haven't updated since like...I don't know....October? I really do want to get back to Neyuki, but it's so difficult...finding inspiration for pixel art these days is extremely hard, but please, keep visiting! I've even considered closing the site altogether, but something in the back of my mind tells me to keep it...why, I don't know...but right...whatever...I still love it, and I like to look at it...I'm amused by shiny things *o*

I'm sick of my journal configuration already lol

The colors I use in my artwork seems to change with my mood. Right now I'm going with a pink phase I suppose. All shades too, magenta, pastels etc. I've even started to wear more of it! >.< ahh lol

So yeah I'm addicted to photomanipulations now. I've always loved staring at them mainly from Jade's [link] . She will always remain my biggest inspiration in all visual works that I do!

Has anyone noticed that I've been posting a lot of poetry...dude that's odd for me. I write a lot, but I never show anyone anything. I guess you could say my biggest inspiration for poetry right now is Emily Dickenson. She's simple. I like simple. Therefore I like to write short poetry.

Ouran High School Host Club= addicted!

And I hate anime! *a manga fan* It's hilarious, and I remember seeing the manga and being intimidated *stupid! how are you intimidated by manga!* I'm addicted to it now, thank God for YouTube.

Then I was curious and went to watch Nana on YouTube too *I read some of the manga in a magazine once, and I loved it XD* and now I'm hooked on that too!

So even though I hate anime, I am an Ouran and Nana anime fan now. woopdee doo.

About School!

School started today. And after school was Cross Country practice *which had been going all summer*

As a farewell to our summer slacking the whole team *all together about 40 people, guys and girls from grades 9-12* went running in the pouring rain.

But this practice was special, because all of the guys jumped into the small river *which was high and strong from the storm* that runs behind the school campus. Us girls didn't want to go in, because it is filthy, filthy sewer water.

But my exboyfriend picked me up and threw me in when I least expected it. And then I got out, and tried to protect the other girls on the team, and got thrown in again XD

So it was kinda fun.

Then we ran up to the park, and the guys were jumping off of the dock into the lake *there is a sign that clearly states no jumping or diving* But eventually I jumped in. It was actually really nice. The water was unfathomly deep, but it was warm. I got out and then we all went up to the park soccer fields and decided to 'mudslide' or whatever. It's basically like a slip n' slide on the grass. Then the guys started sumo wrestling. Eventually we all jumped into the lake to wash off and ran back to the school.

We had an awesome time, and even though our coach had lectured us about things like this a few days before, he laughed and said "Did you guys have fun up there?"

I love that sport. I'm not the best, but I've been doing it for three years with the same people, and it never gets old. We're like a family. ^_^
