so I'm bored and decided to change my journal cause the garden pics were too huge and I didn't feel like resizing them.

My STUPID golden ret. Liam just ate my turtle shell!! fucking dog!! and stupid fucking cats who KNOCK that shit down! GAAAAA! Ok, thats it...once these critters all die off, NO MORE ANIMALS!! all they do is break my stuff! and occasionally love on me or let me love on them. bastards! grrrrrr!!

ANYWAY! so, lately I've been in a creative lull. no urge to draw or paint or even really take pictures. its all just, meh...don't feel like it. I think what I need to do is take some classes this fall, maybe just 2. Like photography 101 and drawing II, it'd be good to take some more classes. I feel weird not being in school! Also then I'd have to get creative and I'd have definite times to draw...not snatched here and there or be tempted by a delicious book


Hummm...k thats really it lol. We went to Nag's Head this weekend, just an overnight trip...but I NEED to get away for a whole week...just live on the beach! No work!! mmmmm yes, said!

My Garden is in full bloom all my hard work has paid off and it looks awesome if I do say so myself...and I DO! I've got pansies and petunia's and gerber daisy's and calla lily's and iris's and gladiola's and marigold's and sunflowers and watermelons and tomato's and heaps tons others!

ignore the paint job on the house LOL we decided to repaint so we chipped off any peeling paint and then powerwashed the house that day....but then we decided to put up siding instead HAHA! no more blue! which is kinda sad, so easy to tell people who were coming over for the first time...first bright blue house on the left now its gonna be a tan colour...oh well

I never thought I'd get a chance to take x-rays of flowers! I can't wait for the spring and my little seedlings to grow I've planted some little seeds and hope to god they grow they should
I wonder what iris' will look like? I got a BUNCH of those that I planted in the fall...muahahaha lol.

Other then that I am extra gloomy...dunno why, must be the time of year. Nothing seems to be going right, but then does it ever lol?

Hummmm....so I'm considering changing careers....well the focus actually. I don't want to leave my job at the emergency vet clinic, god knows I've worked too hard to get my degree and license to quit there now. So, but I want to go back to school for art....like have a real education in it. Not just learn as I go type thing. Then again I'm undecided about getting a photography *god KNOWS I need help there!!! LOL!* or just take classes on drawing/painting etc....or should I do both?

Hummmmmmmm...then there is the $$$$$$$$$, or rather the lack of it lol.

Well...I have no idea what to write about but it isn't my birthday anymore and hasn't been for a few days so I need to change that huh!
Ho hum....I've moved into my room YAY! and have all my shite sorted out finally....skulls on the wall, faeries on the shelves...Tori Amos posters all over (1 on each wall to be exact ) I love sticks and the natural look of them so I have a few with acorns on them in various jars with my paint brushes and pencils and what not and it drives my mom up the WALL muahahaha...so I went out and found a really cool stick about 2.5 feet long with really interesting bar on it and am using it as part of my window treatment...the other window has driftwood with little sparkly wire christmas ornaments on it...neither of which pass her approval LOL
so what was the point there? hummmmmm oh yes, I live to "please" my mom

anywho...does no one here like Creative Memories? or scrapbooking in general??

Other news...well I am a Creative Memories Consultant now...woohoo!! I LOVE Creative Memories and scrapbooking! I've been using their products for over 5 years now...its is TOP of the line! Bla...just bla.

Working on my Tori Amos collage still...its going kinda slow as I got other things on my plate. Hand raising more kittens, got 2 litters this time. One group of 4 that are about 4 days old. Then 2 older ones, they are about 3.5 weeks old now and both sets are doing GREAT I have my boyfriends old crappy digital camera so I can take pics of them, so I will next time I feed them I'll add the pics to my scraps soon

Got a sewing machine! woohoo!! so this is a skirt I am working on

It still needs hemming, but what do you guys think? Its only 2 pieces of fabric, one white underpiece and the bluess fabric on top gathered in places. Hemming sucks lol, well not really but I have to fix my mom's curtains before I am allowed to work on it again haha!

So not much else, I still need to get a TON of rolls of film developed, the fawn didn't make it I was so sad! She just couldn't get over the hump I have pictures of her when she was doing "ok" I promised some I'd post them and as soon as I get them developed they will be up. $$$ is scarce these days lol.

so I finally had a break thru on my creativity lull...back to the drawing board I went and tada! I can always count on my pencils to lead me somewhere...as well as being inspired by one of Tori's magnificant lyrics. This piece actually struck me as I was driving.
But anywho, if you actually care to read this then you will *I hope LOL* have care d enough to see the piece I've just submitted! So I'll stop blathering about that!

I love to foster animals... LOVE! fostering critters. So I just finished raising some kittens and am currently finding homes for them...any good/responsible people out there want one lol. Now, I am helping out a local rehabber of deer who is going out of town, he called and asked me to help him with a little fawn that had stopped eating all of a sudden on him, he was nervous leaving her with the kind folks who help him since they can't be there 23/7. So yay! I have a fawn again this year! Pics ARE coming! Asap! Promise! She is adorable, my mom does daycare and one of her older kids named the lil thing Polka Dot...how cute is that! So, I had difficulty getting her to eat anything at first...she wouldn't suckle on her bottle...so I tried another bottle...nope...tried another nipple...nope wouldn't work I was sooo upset! Tried just putting it in a bowl....nope...no interest...so I had to hold her down the first day and force fed her not fun! She got sooo stressed out I very quickly decided that was NOT the way to go.
So I went to work wednesday night very bummed thinking that this poor thing is going to starve! *note, would NOT let her do that, I'd put her down humanely as harsh as that sounds*
So, right when I got home after work I pulled out tomatos, cucumber and banana...cut them up into teeny tiny pieces and sprinkled some of her special milk over it and ...wahoo!! it was like she'd never seen food before *she had to be starving!* she wolfed it down and then sucked down some formula in a bowl! And has been eating GREAT since then

I'll post pics as soon as I get some good ones

so now its time to do some fun stuff! Yesterday I took the National Examination for Veterinary Technicians and I have to wait 6 weeks before I find out the results and *hopefully* recieve my paperwork that I am licensed. Then I'll get a raise and THEN I'll have more money to invest into more art supplies!!

I'm thinking I'll definitely continue with the super sculpey and get into more polymer clay and expand my skills with it. Definitely! I want more lens' for my camera and play with more filters and take loads of pics, oh and I want a Canon Digital EOS Rebel lol.

I also want to learn how to do stained glass! The whole idea of coming up with a design and then picking out glass and cutting and shaping it into the right measurements and then putting it all together for a beautiful peice that can be displayed in a window just excites me!

and lets see...what else....nothing I guess lol I am going to enjoy this day off!
