The title of the journal is correct, Im in Bali :)
I've been in Bali for 3 days now, I am nowhere near Adelaide :)
Enjoying my time so far :) This is my first holiday in awhile...

Flights over were okay :) and Im taking lots of photos :) Feel like i am tourist...:) The temperature is hot as and very humid!!! I miss adelaide weather...:(

Still working at big w, as a nightfiller/photolab assistant. I'm enjoying to an extent...people are nice, customers are nice, well some of them....though the hours suck.... Though I finished my workplacement at the Hilton 240 hours unpaid. Now i just have to find paid work. I don't exactly know what i want to do.:(

Started my work placement a week ago and the hours are good but I don't get paid, Learning each day, hating working at Big W....

Long time no hear, no write....

I thought i'll write a journal, considering I should be in bed asleep or doing an assignment:|

Hmm...what has happened...

:bulletblue: Firstly....Never take your parents for granted....Mine have been away on holidays in europe for awhile and wow, it's been a learning experience. Ive had to drive myself to tafe everyday, i've had to wash my own clothes, make my own food and keep my bedroom clean. I think you don't realise how much they do for you until they leave you. But hey they'll be home soon :)....I can't wait!!!

:bulletred: Artwork...hmm....that has something to be desired.... I haven't had time to take any decent photo's lately...but i will, Holidays in 2 weeks for 10 days...yay!:D I also bought a new camera, with help from my sister, who bought my old camera. Next on the list is a new Video Camera. talking bout technology. I also bought a laptop, But unfortunately it dropped and cracked. It still works thank god:D. But its cosmetic and It would be better to buy a new one, then getting it fix but it still works :) Photos soon I promise ;)

:bulletyellow: Congrats to Miss Garland. She gave Birth to Cooper on the 8th of Septmeber :)

Update on things:

:bulletred: My best friend aka close friend, fellow deviant ~Kirkie has been in hospital for the last couple of days:( she's waiting for an operation. They have to remove her gall bladder! but she's doing ok. It's also her birthday next friday too.

:bulletred: Tafe. Is going ok. It's stressing me out, but i'll survive, next semester is alot more relaxed! Im nearly finished my cert 3 and i have to look for work placement to do my 600 hours. I dont have a clue do you? and ~a1106047 * thinks how that spelt...well Tom has helped me out with my kitchen design. i just have to re-arrange to how i want it to be for my assignment

:bulletred: my artwork hasn't been very active, can't wait till my 1 week of holidays. be prepared!!! have been very slack on DA slowly getting back on track

:bulletred: Me, hmm, been heaps down, miss my friends, slowly getting life back on track. work is going good. ~bushidoanime, ~kendelle and chris i think came into work a couple of weeks ago!

I think a longer journal!

Well an update on most things that i can remeber...

Artwise. I haven't picked up my camera in ages....*fingers crossed* I will do soon :). I miss my clouds and sunsets. and most of the time when this is happening is while im stuck inside at tafe or work :(. Bring on daylight savings. Though im waiting for a day where i can just go out and take lots of pics. Also I wanna get another camera, maybe a cheap film one

Friends side. I have had some stop talking to me cause of my behaviour, but i done what i have to do and it's up to them to make their decision up. Some how i racked up a nasty phone bill.eek....Haven't seen some of u's for awhile...miss u peeps:(. I got my ear pierced with ~Kirkie Though it only took her 4 an bit hours to decide if she wants one...no pain at all!! was it kirsty?? But your true ones always stick with you.

Tafe: got this 3 month project happening, have to come up with our own kitchen and restaurant. ~Storm-Boy choose the name and did my logo. it's all up to to me to decide what i want to do. Im nearly finished my cert3. which is good. I only get 1 week of holidays :(

Work: is going good :) I like my hours. except the part of no social life :)

It’s been a long time since I wrote a long journal. Maybe a very long time.

So much has happened in the last couple of weeks, or should I say new year. I’ve become acquainted with most of Gavin’s friends! For who don’t know Gavin, he’s my work friend and close friend. He’s also moving from Gawler to live with one of his friends in the city! So there will be a hole left in me for awhile! But he’s promised to come back and visit. It’s very interesting with Gav’s friends they are a bad influence on me but a good bad influence, the last two weekends I have been a bit drunk..maybe very drunk…like ~Guided-By-Voices said it’s complicated with some of them. I have to make a choice before things get out of hand.

Life is full of experiences that happen occur once or more. We got a letter in the post today from Germany, informing my dad that my great uncle had past away in August 2005. We didn’t know that he past away, we hadn’t heard from him in awhile. Parents were worried as he was the last living member from my dad’s dad family. My parents are also disappointed I think because they were suppose to go overseas in May last year. Dad wanted to see him before he past away. But some things aren’t not meant to be. On a lighter note it was my sisters birthday on Monday she unfortunately turned 18. She’s having a bling party on Saturday =) should be interesting.

Tafe..hmm…well to start of with you already know that I got into a Diploma of Hospitality Management, which is basically like a cooking course with some hotel management I think. It’s my second chance at my education. I blew the first one on IT. I just didn’t think it was me, but I met some more friends like *jaybe. Fingers crossed that I liked this course!:D

My art, I’m still on producing some average shots. At the moment I have this weird fascination with clouds. I like the really fluffy ones. I also couldn’t make it to the 4th Adelaide DevMeet, which was very disappointing, I would have gone butt work called me in. I hope the guys and gals went had a good time, and let the 5th devMeet be bigger and better!! ROCK ON!
Some of my photos I have stitched together like my fireworks ones, which turned out pretty good except for the person that was standing in front of us….grr…
I’ve also worked out that each devMeet I don’t go, someone turns up that I recognise!

hmmm...been a pretty busy woman lately, hangin out with gav and his friends :) Though i think i am lacking in the art scene atm :(. I might go into a summer competition for the local newspaper, though i am not sure which picture to take, or i might take another one. that i am satisfied Tafe doesn't start back until the 20th of Feb, so I can partae, catch up with friends and do whatever and work my arse off at work

I'll get back on track with the art scene :).

The night was great!! Though Oli's owes me a shot =P...The attendence was perfect ;) I didn't get :drunk: i didn't meet ne new fellas! I just felt great being around my friends and all. Though the walking kill my poor lil feet!!! Kirsty didnt send me a postcard on her extended trip!!=P Marcia supplied the balloons and cake :), and katie meeting up with a random guy called Luke!!!

Well technically today it's my birthday in 6 hours or so its my birthday in USA time :) and wherever else;)

A year has passed i've been 18 for a whole year and now i am 19. Like hello, where has a year gone???

Only 2 days to go till Birthday ;). To all that know me, I wanted to by pass it this year... no such luck!!! Dinner thingo is going smoothly so far, invited bout 40 odd people bout 18 have replied :D. Its going to be a good night :)

Pretty busy this week. Got tafe, and family stuff :) etc :)

Its going all well =), nothing much really happening :) I guess. Theres under 7 days until my birthday.:w00t: party. If anyone wants to they can come out for dinner, just note or e-mail me details :) ur more then welcomed to :). Thats if u live in Adelaide ;)

Tafe going slow, but good, I got a credit for one of my exams!! Slowly getting motivated again

I went to the movies...for the first time in 8 months i think.. I saw Pride and Prejudice. it was a good movie :).

I got this thing about travelling i might go in 2007. Save up all of next year...and then head over some where.. any one care to join?

I saw a car accident the other when walking back to tafe. :| A little car was on its roof...Don't know what happened must hit a corner when going around the round-a-bout... was a nasty sight. Though the driver and passengers had got out... Also on that note got a letter from the Gov the other day bout the New L's and P's legislation. Im glad it doesnt apply to me.

How are you? How was your weekend:)

I spent it with Kirsty ~Kirkie house-sitting, i'll be back down there on thursday ;), am back in my home town for the next couple of days cause of work and tafe.

We vedge on the weekend, Kirsty had to work Friday, so i spent half of it with Tales ;). Saturday we went shopping for food ;) Sunday Kirsty had to work, so i potted around. Then today i drove home about 6:30ish am. I got tafe later ;)

hmmm...wow reading all your journls on 20 things and stuff, i found interesting:). It was good to read, things I didn't know or did know :).

I found out my X boyfriend left for the UK the other week, Some days it still feels that i am going out with him:( but what do u expect when you go out with someone for 3 years. Oh well good luck to him. I been single for at least 7 months now, I don't know if its good or not...Why can't I find someone else?

my birthday is in less 15 days i'll be 19...yay!!

I've been pretty active with my deviations;) I am exploring Photoshop too :)

How's everyone doin??

Bah...The weekend goes so-so quick. One minute it's Friday next minute it's Sunday night.

Haven't done much photography lately...Haven't been really bothered to do any lately. I think.... Probs look at another area...not sure... though i'm slowly adding pics from melbourne trip:D

I went back to being Dark Brown not black, means no more Blonde Streaks unfortunately, to some people's liking...It's a bit hard getting used to i guess...

ummm..tafe is good, i guess slowly getting my work done..

work is wonderful.

How's everyone? Hows everyone weekend?

Mine went really well. Im still tired from it. It started on thursday and ended sunday :)

Short briefing.
Thurs. went into town to meet up with a couple of friends. then that night went to dinner with parents worked until 12am
Friday Vanessa's farewell party... she's off to the navy..gonna miss her :)
Saturday went to the gawler show, like the adelaide show, but country style. then worked.
Sunday slept in till 12 then had work at 2-6.

So basically been working heaps!! yay need to pay off my debt.:)

Tafe is okay, I guess. im getting there. Gotta study my ass off.

DA well that's progressing, am putting up pictures which I like more, then putting random pics up...so yeah

Friends...hmm...I'm not sure what to say. So i am going to say that i am keeping a low profile. Im just sick of all the shit. Times like this I should asses who really wants to be friends with me and who i want to be friends with. I am not perfect...

Melbourne was good. The flights going there and coming back were good:).
~Kirkie and I did heaps, we went everywhere. All up i think i took 200 pictures :). Which i was quite impressed with :). I fell in :heart: with the Melbourne Central Shopping Centre, cause of the shape of the roof... its different!! but cool.

Nothing Much else has been happening...I guess...

but yeah...

How is everyone? I'm so-so.

Do I really need to grow up, change? Cause some people, think i do? and im not entirely satisfied with their opinions, yet happy. I feel so hurt, cause i am the person i am, and i can't change or don't want, just let me do it in my own time. if your not satisfied then i dont want to be ur friend. Just tell me.

I'll be leaving Gawler, Adelaide in less then 2 days!!! Im so :excited: yet nervous, caus i hate flying, even though some people have told me, that i shouldn't be considering I flew from Adelaide-Perth-Singapore-Denpesar. But Im only flying to Melbourne, so its only a 45mins top flight :|.
and I will be in Melbourne for 3 nights=) So i'm looking forward to that, and i need some new photos..=)

The car has been fixed :w00t: $2000 dollars later, Next time its a car crash the poor thing will be a write off, cause its already been in two car accidents. I still don't and will not drive the car, unless i have to..Im quite fine catching the public transport or walking or getting someone else to drive. But I will not drive. Especially after the weekend.

Friends..mmmm...thats not a topic to talk about,

Men, well somehow i've worked out that i don't want/need a boyfriend, well in someways i do and don't. But they are all nice people :)... Well some of them...:) but i like ya's all, no matter how much you hurt me! :)

Okay, folks. Here's the deal.

By now, you've heard that Scott Jarkoff, aka °jark, is now a FORMER Staff Member.

I'm not privy to the whys, wherefores, and whatever-the-hells are going on behind the scenes here. Don't ask me anything about that. I know probably just as much as you do.

DeviantArt, in my opinion, is becoming less about COMMUNITY and more about CORPORATION.

So what we need to do is bring back THE COMMUNITY.

Here's my suggestion.

On August 7th, DA turns five years old. Five years for a website like this should be a grand affair, one big event.

So don't submit anything on August 7th.

I'm talking a print, a deviation, a scrap...nothing.

Instead, just leave a comment. Visit a user's page and just say hi.

If someone wants to buy a subscription that day, I'm all in favor or it. It'll keep the servers going, and anything that keeps the hamster running is a good thing.

BUT...I think folks shouldn't buy any prints. No print subscriptions. That goes against the COMMUNITY theme for the day.

We want to put the COMMUNITY back into DA.

If you're in favor of this, if you believe in the power this COMMUNITY has, then join me. Post this in your own journal. Spread the word to everyone, with a and a .

We might be touting at windmills like Don Quixote.

But if enough of us do it, we might be able to remind everyone that this is a COMMUNITY first and foremost.

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was so-so

On friday ~Kirkie and I met up with ~LittleBrownLee and ~Storm-Boy for coffee in the city:), As we hadn't caught up with them since they came back from China. It was good catching up with them.
The rest of the weekend was spent working and going to a cousins baby shower and did nothing for the rest of the weekend:|

I have no knight in shining armour :(...though the fact do i need one is the question? I have been single for at least 5 months now..I haven't found anyone else...I don't know what I want...I've hooked up with 2 people, which has been good, though i hurt one and i didn't mean to hurt em....Though nothing will or happen from those two people...So that leaves me back at square one. I think...Geez I sound like some desparate chick, when unfortunately i am not one. I just wanna be :heart:'d i think...:shrug: I don't know. who knows, What am I suppose to do?

Hmmm...Im seriously thinking about going overseas, I thought about teaching English in a foreign country...maybe an asian one:)..It could happen next year if i put my mind and money to it :)...It's an experience that im looking forward to doing... but atm im looking into it. or doing something overseas....

Friends and Tafe, Tafe is busy..:)..Friends...meh..."Don't go there girlfriend" I wish i had a twin...Seriously some of you's have to know that i spend equal time with everyone!!! I can't be in two places at once!! and with in this mind, you have to know i have fricken feelings to!

Not much to report on...

Tafe is hectic...

Work...is a bum, we had a night audit for OH&S last night and my stanely knife got taken away!!!:(...I also have to buy new pants and new shoes, cause the ones im currently wearing now aren't suitable for work!! NOT HAPPY JAN!!!

Friends...hmm...lots to say...too much for a journal.

Theres at least 20 days until i go away to melbourne and when i come back, i'm going to pay my debt off, maybe save up for a new camera and then maybe another holiday :) at the end of the year :D.
