MORE GOOD NEWS: for all of you who don't know who biLLy bOy On poiSon is -- you should be ashamed of yourself. seriously. they are a mind-blowing band from right here in West Hollywood. their lead singer is my BFF and also an amazing musician who is finally getting the recognition he deserves. bbOp finally recieved some radio time on Sunday night when KROQ aired their old-school rocknroll single, "Saturday's Child." congratualtions to Davis, Jessi, Ryan, Julian, and Greg. this is what we've been waiting for!

AND STILL, MORE GOOD NEWS: I know what you're thinking: even more good news?! I don't think I can stand it! I think my brain will boil in my head and I'll die because the fact that so many good things are being thrown at me right now is so fucking brain-boilingly UNBELIEVABLE.
Well, believe it. I've got a photoshoot coming up with the one and only Kitty Jones, which involves me in elbow-length black gloves and a heinous fur coat. We've dubbed the unborn shots "A New Time Holly Golightly," and, according to Kitty, she's going to "attempt to capture [my] natural prostitute-with-a-heart-of-gold mantality." the shots will hopefully make an appearnce here on the dA in a few weeks.

Well, it's twelve days until my fifteenth birthday, and my mother has, once again, denied me a lip piercing. I will probably be recieving a new camera instead. So, not all bad.

In other news, I hate a certain girl in my P.E. class who shall remain nameless. I will only say that me, Rose, and aforementioned ho used to have an inside joke that involved the term, "AAH, I got a splinter! In my ASS!" Which was actually a very funny joke, but that is a different story.
So, Aforementioned Ho (Lets call her AH, shall we?) thinks herself to be a matchmaker. The only problem is, she is really, really BAD at it. She once tried to set me up with this really funny kid named Steven, who has a girlfriend and whom I have no interest in dating AT ALL. Now she's moved on to this kid who shall remain nameless, but whom we'll call Harry Potter because this is whom he resembles. He's funny and a good athelete and a sophomore and in my P.E. class as well, and he has a thing for my friend Daina (most boys do). And I really wouldn't mind dating him. I wouldn't, but in case some of you haven't noticed, I AM NOT PRETTY. I am an unattractive person. Boys do not like big girls, despite what Levi says, and now that I am back to being a big girl and I've dropped photography (which made me seem immensely cool and appealing), I basically have nothing going for me.
And so AH tells Harry Potter that I have a crush on him, which is mostly untrue. And this, apparently, freaked him out so much that now he won't even talk to me. Which is really such a shame because me and Harry were sort of good friends. Why he freaked I am not entirely sure (besides the aforementioned fact: I AM NOT PRETTY) but Rose says this is because he lacks the emotional capacity to have any sort of attachment to another human being. I think it's because AH told him all about me and Rose's Two-Year Super-Fantastic Junior Prom Plot* and made it seem as if this all was geared toward his Harry Potter-looking person, therefore making me seem stalkerish and therefore eliminating any desire Harry Potter may or may not of had to EVER EVER EVER even talk to me again.

On the plus side, I am getting a Brokencyde shirt for my birthday. And vegan cornbread from Ellie.

I realize I must seem like a REALLY shallow person at the moment, but I really just needed to vent, because this tiny little drama-crisis is sort of a big deal to me right now, though I'm not entirely sure why. Maybe because my best friend hardly ever talks to me anymore and Apple Jax just got a horrible haircut that makes him totally unappealing and Levi has gone back to holding my hand all the time and this wierd kid keeps asking me out and I really am just having some self-esteem issues right now.

I'm wondering how I ever played anything with my eyes closed.
I'm singing like I used to.
I'm scribbling lyrics on Jamba Juice napkins.
I'm struggling to find inspiration.
I'm slowly remembering what this feels like.
I'm redicovering myself.
I'm beginning to start all over.
