I have been debating on leaving devaint art all together as of the last few days .

Devaint art has changed and maybe its not for me anymore . When i first joined you could upload images and comment on them and add them to faves thats all . Sometimes a admin would daily feature your work . This was good for awhile but it became a hassle because in it didnt get me what i wanted for my work was how to do stuff. There was a strong group of users that would work outside this system to create and learn . If a admin had asked me if they could feature me i would of told them no back then . Today i would fight it because it doesnt bring in anything good to me and my art and works . I find what brought me to deviant art to not be here anymore . I find what brought me here on flickr now . This could be do to that i have changed my works to more photograph or it could be that it isnt a popularity contest to get page views there with not content.

I find that my work being featured does nothing to help me have better work or insight. The person that featured me is just as pissed at me as i am at being featured . Because i was the one in a thousand that took the time to reply back that i dont like it . Thats fine its the nature of the internet and ppl . Im sorry if i come accross rude i dont mean to but its my nature to try and speak strait . There are rules writen to this site and to copyright laws that prevent a person from using my work with out notifcation .I have no plans on sending admins after them or anything like that i removed my work and pointed them to the spam and copyright uses faq on the site .

The person that featured me wrote a journal berating my stance on this thats fine and well within there rights . Just like it is my right to remove images and ask them to stop using my work . I tried to explain my point to them but it doesnt seem to work . So i will be done with it now .

The plans for 2009

1. Get A job (yes im jobless again which may explain my return )
2. Take more photos (I like taking them something peacefull about it )
3. Get in contact with ppl i havnt talked to in a long time (Facebook)
4. Get out more and do stuff (McDill airforce base airshow this week )
5. Meet New ppl I dont do this enough anymore ( not sure why )
6. open for ideas
7. Sell some prints i need the money if you dont like the price give me a heads up ill drop them .

These are my plans for 2009 so far .

Dear Mr. Prime,

We have received your accident-claim reports for the month of JuneÂthey total 27. I regret to inform you that GEICO will not be able to reimburse you for any of those repairs. I feel that I have sent the same letter to you once a month for the last six months, and I am now sending it again.

Since becoming a GEICO customer in January of this year, you have reported 131 accidents, requesting reimbursement for repairs necessitated by each one. You have claimed not to be responsible in any of them, usually listing the cause of the accident as either "Sneak attack by Decepticons" or "Unavoidable damage caused by protecting freedom for all sentient beings."

The only repairs for which you were reimbursed were the replacement of a cracked fender and a headlight, required after a Mr. I. Ron Hide backed his van into your truck; these cost $1,286.63. Our own investigation concluded that you were not at fault and that Mr. Hide had been drinking prior to the accident. Though police were unable to test his blood-alcohol levelÂMr. Hide claimed that it would be impossible for police to examine his blood-alcohol content with a Breathalyzer, because he "doesn't breathe"Âunder Washington-state law, refusal to take a Breathalyzer test is equivalent to returning a result above the legal level.

But, I repeat, those were the only repairs for which you have been reimbursed, and it was a very minor accident in comparison to your other claims. I mention a few to illustrate the larger trend:

* $379,431.34 requested reimbursement for repairs to your truck cabin. You claimed the damage was caused by attacking fighter jets.

* $665,789.11 requested reimbursement for repairs to your trailer. You claimed the damage was caused by a giant mechanical scorpion, which I can only assume is some amusement-park ride, although I question the wisdom of bringing your mobile home so close to such dangerous equipment.

* $6,564,239.44 requested reimbursement for repairs to a truck part called the "Autobot Matrix of Leadership." You stated this occurred in "an ultimate confrontation between good and evil," with a Ms. Meg Atron and a Mr. U. Nicron causing the damage in question. Mr. Prime, I have checked every known car- and truck-part catalog published in the United States and have found nothing even resembling that part, never mind any part so expensive. Whatever disagreements you had with Ms. Atron and Mr. Nicron, I suggest that next time you either settle things peaceably or leave your Autobot Matrix of Leadership at home so it doesn't break. GEICO does not cover Autobot Matrix of Leaderships.

And the list goes on. Mr. Prime, I am going to remind you again: Your policy with GEICO only reimburses you for accidents that occur while you are engaged in the reasonable use of your truck and trailer. As I told you when you originally purchased the policy, GEICO does not offer Megatron coverage, Starscream coverage, Soundwave coverage, Decepticon coverage, or Energon-blast coverage. Those are just not the types of damages we would expect from reasonable use.

To sum up, GEICO has been unable to reimburse you for any repairs, but due to the high number of accidents you have been a party to this month, combined with the many accidents you have had in the preceding five months, your premium has increased to $235,567.50 per month. While that may seem like a lot, I remind you that it is a savings of $137 over Progressive and $98 over State Farm. Please have your check into our main office by the end of July.

NEW YEARS EVE by Nightowl (mark)
I have a tradition that i havnt held to in a few years . I would like to revisit it .

Rules

Over the Past 33 or so years ive been around I have only voted for about a dozen things . Not one has really been of a political nature . Now some would same i have no political inklings they would be wrong . What i have is no desire to throw my vote to someone or thing thats doesnt have my views . Yes my veiws can sometimes fit into the party system that we have here . BUT I have yet to have a politication or one of the parties answer any question i have posed honestly or factually . My partents think its funny has hell when i stump the tele-campain ppl . Ihave had talks with all times of ppl on why my vote matters . Here are my answers to them .

1. My vote is mine to give
2. I only vote for something or someone i know about .
3. If they cant answer my questions why should i support them .
4. If you care some much about the money or what not why dont you do something about it . (like donating that car or sucking dick to get votes for them )
5. I have had no problem with who has been picked in the past that i dont have with all politications . (thats a tough one for ppl i dont know why )
6. Ive been told im libreral (im not since i dont support any party since i dont see eye to eye with any of them . )
7. I dont mind that where at war . (why not ? I think its good to flex our war urges also ive read alot of war strateges )
8. But the politication is a idiot . (I didnt vote him in and i have no problem with him go idiots )
9. What are they going to do for me ? (nothing i dont matter ) yes i mean it . politics are not about vote of the one its about the vote of the mass . Im not the mass .
10. I dont care !!! Imean it i dont care if barbara fuck slut is school board prez let alone that idiot is USA prez . Most ppl dont understand this .

Religion
I dont hate it . I do hate the ppl that follow it and throw there veiws in my face . I hate when i throw my veiws back and get a bashed for it . Todays religion is based on twisted moral faith not really understanding and faith . I have a problem with that . Since i have my own views and brain power . Most ppl of a religous nature dont have there own views and brain power . Im not bashing you for your beliefs im bashing you for not questioning the structure those beliefs are feed to your brain . Most ppl are suprized that i have read and reread a good deal if not all of the bible and or texts of that nature . I have found these text to be good reads at time but most of the time i find them to be just a form of moral coding for a mass of ppl . Since i have my own brain and use it with everything i read and do. (even when im drunk and hitting on slutty girls : ) I have yet to find religious text or faith that chellenges that part of me .

Women
Today the talk of the day was sex . Now im all for this . A few of us at work with where talking about this . So i spent a lot of time day dreaming about what not . Here is what ive come up with today .
1. I have yet to date a women that challenged me mentaly as well as physicaly
2. I want that .
3. I dont want a dumb girl
4. I dont want a girl that cant keep up .

JMS the free week of deviant art sub is like free timeshare week . during and after the promotion you get bombarded with buy now or lose all these stupid feature oh by the way we just add css to journals so now you have to get a sub . Ill give help desk some pros for repling to me but they lose all of them since they cant do what i want . (in the end if the food sucked the service dont matter ) Also i figure by the time this is over ill get where removing your sub that expires in 3 hours now . For those that dont understand this oh well . Unlike 4 years ago a free sub doesnt thrill me . There is nothing in the sub that i really want . and the site has scaled back decent browsing to a point where i dont even browse it anymore . Most didnt bite since they say its early in the season and there is like a billion ppl now wandering around behind me . Normaly at this point i run back into the family since its rows and i walk fast and back track alot . no luck not a sign of them so i move on to the covered area (i got a nagging feeling im not going to find them here and im way ahead ) . The covered areas have more establised vendors and uber mongers . The row are also tighter . So im broswing again not seeing anything great still kinda weak since the past few weeks at the small fleamarkets i have found stuff . understand that ive seen about as much stuff as the last two weeks combined in terms of junk and fleamarket . Also that nagging that i should figure out where the family is still there . But hey i havnt even gotten out of the stuff they like yet so i let it slide . the smell of food and the heat of the day starts to get to me so i figure ill do the smart thing and get a soda and some food hmm food . (at this point since i havnt seen my dad which is suprizing since food and the time frame says i should find him here at the sauage vendor i get the idea to phone him ) So i wander while browsing still looking for a payphone (wait whats a payphone ) . I guess Payphones dont exsit in fleamarket world since there isnt any in 5 miles of the grounds . Bye this time ive made it way outside the normal range of my parents at these things in other words ive made it to wholesale land . Wholesaler land is a the bottom of the monger of junk land . It has the nockoff hand bags and cheap swords airpelet guns and what not like that . Also most of the vendors dont speak english so its even harder to haggle them damn bottom mongers . I dont spend much time here since its all real new junk and has really no value . I make it out of wholesale land into what has to one of the oldest parts of the market since it has real buildings with walls also the shops are about 2ft by 2ft stacked to the ceiling . At this point i converse with a guy that lost his wife about 3 hours before . (he seemed kinda happy about it since he had a cell phone ) Also anothe guy broke in and said he would love to loss his wife but she always finds him . I find some legos in the same store but they where way over priced and i didnt see a vendor so i left them . i deiced its time to check the car to see if the family is dead yet . Nope not there so i wander back to the sauage vendor since dad has to be there . (what the hell hes not ) At this point i start debating about paging them to the bull on the roof building but figure since im in the middle and really dont have anything to do ill ppl watch at the gate . I watch ppl dodge traffic and wander aimlessly around junk . I watched a lady on one of those three wheel chair things turn it over on the 2in grade . its was so funny it wasnt . i mean how the hell do you turn your 3 in off the ground trikchair over on your self on a 2in grade . it was so pidiful i had to stop watching a wander since i was either going to start laaughing my ass off or get up and riddicle the person (i really hate ppl in these motorized chair things by the way ) . Any given week you stand to be run over into or just plain run down by someone in these things in target or walmart . (both stores supply these things to there lazy shoppers ) lets give someone that cant drive a car a motorized chair to ram into other shoppers since everyone know that the person that has a motor has the right of way . A few friends and a large free hosted art gallery is all thats keeping me here . Browsing the art has become boring if not lame . If you dont go deep into a Subgroup you find very little thats worth it . You use to be able to browse the front page and get something out of it now its just the same rehashed 30 or so artist that either are on my watchlist already or dont thrill me . I comment on almost nothing . I use to make 15-20 comments a week not im lucky if it s 2-3 . Why am i still here ? I ask this question and i get the same answer from my subconsients . IT WILL GET BETTER . With ver 5 dumbdown I question weather it will truely get better . I know your thinking whats the of even saying this . Well its a journal i use as a blog so i can get a idea of what i was thinking that day . Im thinking i hate the new layout . If i was to be a noobie today i think i would pass on deviant art . Theres a bunch of good deviant art has given me . A bunch of fuck head friends (my catogory for friends i pay attention on my watchlist ) Most dont sumit anymore or if they do its about as offten as me . 4 Years ago i came here through a seach for wallpapers for my desktop . I found a easy way to Link ppl on irc to what i was doing while i chatted on irc . mainly playing in photoshop . At the time irc was in a big downward spirl . Most of my buddies on there left or jumped networks . Not wanting to do to the insane mass IRCs i choose to head into the world of manips and deviant art . I dropped IRC for Shoutbox and comments . up to about 2 years ago i would say i had seen about 80% of all freehand art and dark manips and almost all the stock . today i would say im at 10% . Its not that traffic and summiting has grown its becuase they changed the way we bowse deviantart 2 years ago . The front page became break the system so your buddies get top billing . When i look back all the tell tell signs are there . Dieing chat , ppl leaving in mass . Today if you dont have a deep base of ppl to fav and comment your stuff it never see the light of day there are exceptions to this but not many . As many of you may have seen i Havent renewed my sub . The reasons for it are i havnt summited anything lately and there is no real rewards to doing it . the site isnt faster thumbnails in messages is nice but honestly i dont need them to tell whats good and not . (i know my watchlist good enough .) Up intill Jark got canned 'senior member status was a thing someone earned after about 2-3 years of muching around on the site . Now its If a admin likes your ass or you sell a ton of prints . Can you tell me when the last person that got a ' that earned it thru time and art instead of money and ass kiss . Dont get me wrong I never expected to get one but there where a few ppl that should or should of gotten a ' that havnt . I really belive time should equal something on here .
im really debating just throwing up the Gone fishing sign and calling it quits or atleast taking everything down . Theres very little keeping me here .

July 30, 2006
A 6-year-old boy from Valdosta, Georgia suffered a bruised arm after a dolphin bit him. The dolphin's teeth did not break the skin, and the boy's mother freed the boy by beating on the dolphin's nose. Thomas M. Welch, 52, of Palm Harbor, Florida, complained tha he felt ill shorty after riding Gwazi. Park paramedics responded and performed CPR after Welch lost consciousness. He was taken to local hospital, where he died, about two hours after riding. -- Reported on July 26, 2006 by Philip Pasch.

Tornado at Adventureland

An 11-year-old girl was hospitalized, and two others suffered more minor injuries, when a train on the Tornado roller coaster struck a board that had been left on or near the ride's track by maintenance personnel. -- Reported on July 28, 2006 by Robert Niles.

Mackenzie Jennings underwent surgery to remove a blood clot and reduce swelling on her head. She is expected to make a full recovery. According to a Des Moines Register report, a registered nurse in the roller coaster's line provided first aid until Adventureland personnel took the girl to a local hospital. Runaway Mine Train at Alton Towers
July 20, 2006
At alton towers today at about 11:00am the runaway mine train had an accident. as it was going around the track the end part of the train came off and rolled back crashing in to the front part. Two people were tken to hospital in an air ambulance and another was driven to the hospital. alton towers do not know what caused this accident but they are investigating now. -- Reported on July 20, 2006 by michael stone.

This is true. I was there shortly after the accident, just coming off the rapids. 29 people were injured in total, 25 only had minor injuries and were treated on site, while others were badly injured and took to hostpital. 2 people were so seriously injured they had to be taken to hostpital by helicopter. -- Reported on July 20, 2006 by Rowan Booker.

I was there standing on the bridge on top of were the accident happened, the first carrage went under the bridge and came out by the side of it but as it went up a hill it slowed down and the next second was going back the way it came. Everyone on the ride was laughing at first because they thouight it was some sort of a joke but then a carrage came up the track at a really fast pace and hit the back of the first carrage. The people on both carrages were thrown forwars in there seat like if a person was in a car crash, both carrages then proceded to roll backwards under the bridge i was standing on. Lately deviant art has just seemed blah and tired . Now flickr has been enteraining me endlessly . god i love tags on pics . Now ive made no secret that im not happy with the front page . i use to broswe it endlessly looking at 30-50 pics every few mins thru refreshing for new stuff . now you cant do that you have to broswe a gallery or a section . so now i stick to my dev watch which when the good artist sumit something is cool but all i really seem to get anymore is junk and stock which is cool but i havnt felt a need to play in photoshop lately . So as many of ya know ive kinda been floating in job limbo . Now this isnt a bad or a great thing but it does have some perks .

Perk 1. I dont really have a boss . (i go to the temp place weekly get a job and then am off to job . ) did i mention i havnt seen a boss there in 7 months

Perk 2. Confusing the Boss at the job site . (how do i do this? One im a good worker so after a week or two it feel like im a employee to them . When i mess up some times they will try to scold or write me up . Im always answer this with if you dont feel i can do the work your more then welcome to sign my ticket and ill be off you job site . This confuses them since i just did the number one employee no no of telling your boss there not your boss . Some dont get it . You have to explain it to them that you dont work for them but for the temp firm . Ive had these ppl insist that i work for them . I dont i work for the temp place . I always tell them it states on the ticket that its there job to subervise me but most dont . which is fine by me since it mean i dont have to do things twice . Now most of these jobs dont understand why i dont work for them or want to work for them for a buck more a hour . Its not worth it most of the time since that extra 40 bucks a week really wouldnt matter . Since i do a lot of work with the local school every now and then i run into that teacher that thinks there the boss . I had one about 4 months ago threaten to get me fired since i work for the school . I explained it to her that no matter how much clout she had wit h the union that she could not get me fired from my job . and that if i wasnt picking up and cleaning her class room tomarrow i would be working somewhere better and wouldnt have to work around her sloppy classroom . Now i always say this stuff with a smile and nice . Normally i like to stay under the radar at schools but most of the time its tough since i seem to be faster then most of the guys im filling in for . (aka i finish the assigned work 2-3 hours before the guy im replacing would . ) Every now and then i get that idiot employee that has the same problem as the teacher and what not . i had this one girl yell at me for cleaning and using here supply closet while she was out sick . understand i was already cleaning and taking care of another persons area . I laughed at her and said talk to your boss if he has a problem with me he is more then welcome to cancel my ticket and you can clean the area im assigned to . She didnt talk to me again while i was at that school . Its funny how ppl dont understand that simplest of things like who is your boss and who is mine .

watched GITS sec sac dvd 4 yesterday along with Desert Punk dvd 1

GITS was filler for the season it seems . kinda low key and just hints at stuff to come . the best part was the think tanks .

Desrt Punk was intresting in a cool idea way not sure if i like it yet but its still early to tell .

I finished the 11 dvds of gantz befopre i left . that seires kicks ass . its kinda mind altering and twisted just enough to make you think twice about stuff .

When i was in phoenix i saw V for vendetta [link] . it was kick ass for how it made me think about stuff . also alot of the ideas behind the psycholgy of mass mind control and social controls that could be close . also makes ya think about some of the the stuff going on today . Not to mention its just a great ant-hero movie . If you havnt seen it go see it .

I think ive hit the ive seen everything i want to in anime point . when i was at best buy non of the new stuff out intrested me and i had most of the old good stuff . all thats left is the stuff geared for 13 year girls and some of the nartuto type stuff that doesnt intrest me because if has no real plot and the action is and animation is old and boring . I hoping another wave comes out of stuff .

Since im money shy for the next couple weeks i wont be renewing my sub till next month or the one after that .

Airplanes - well i fly southwest out there . Southwest did the job they always claim to be able to do which is offer cheap tickets with no real thrills . i got 3 small sodas and 3 bags of peanuts and 3 bags of snack mix since all my flights were 3+ hours . Going out the pilot must of had a date in portland or something we where like 20mins early . alos the flight going out wasnt direct like my ticket said but it was okay because southwest dosnt do direct flights it seems . which is surprizing since it seems like there was enough on my flight and the one before and next to get a full direct flight . no real complains or thrills with the flights .

Phoenix - Was great for the most part went to the zoo played with my nephew and had the best service ive seen in a food place in years .

Food service - When you go somewhere out of town you normally eat where and when you can . Most of the time the service is mediocare to down right stupid . Well i had a pleasant surpize at a chilli's . Had some of the best service ive ever had . now i base service on 3 things speed and pace of ordering that the server uses . my soda being full and food . you can get bonus point on looks and flirting and joking but most of the time you dont . Well the server at chilli's hit the 3 basics in some zen like insane server mode . i dont even know how it happened but my soda never was epmty which is not easy task to do with me . my food was good and the whole meal had a good pace from first complaint about the sun in my sisters eyes to getting use to order chips so that the food would hit just perfect . Now my sister didnt seem to understand that this kinda zen like food serves needs to be rewarded . needless to say this guy got and extra 15 bucks on a 34 buck meal .

Shuttle service - since this was a last min thing for me i had to find my way back to the airport on my own . phoenix has a shuttle service it seems for 26 bucks they pick you up and drop you and atleast someone else off at the airport . Well here was my second brush with good service . the driver was freindly and talkive in a good way not the annoying im putting on a show for ya thing . he was on time and also made small chat with me and the other guy all the way there . also explained how his phone connected to the gps mapper very cool tech .

Now to the Cause of all this LEGO

now the reason i went to phoenix on short notice like this is that they where having masterbuilder comp there . I didnt go into this with any real plans other then to build a ship
[link] . now here is the real low on what happens . you sit around in the lobby of where ever the comp is till playing with legos with your nephew till your round hits . Then they take you to a room with 5-6 large bins of unsorted legos . tell ya that the model dosnt have to fit on the green base and your number plate has to be in veiw . then thay give you a hour to find the bricks you need and build . if you dont have some idea of what your going to build good luck finding the bricks you need . The guy that had the same last name as me built a cannon [link] very cool the picture doesnt to it justice . He must if been praticing it for ever it took him like 15 mins to build and find all the bricks . Now the other guy in the flight that had a cool model [link] took about as long as me . i really thought one of these guy would of gotten in . but they didnt just like me . the three of use where the only ones to get interviews in the flight we where in . most flights where 10-15 ppl . I find it funny that my mug was all over phoenix news all weekend but i didnt get in or even a call from lego ppl . but its okay my model was decient but not what they seemed to be looking for . So i bought this umd movie for my psp . Thinking hey ill get something off the cheap rack at the place going out of biz . Well i surpized to say the least when i kicked it on and didnt get gungrave but got hellsing . Now i say maybe it it just a disk in the wrong package or maybe gungrave is hellsing renamed . so i watch a few secnes and compare it to the package . Then i remove the umd from the psp to make sure its not hellsing since non of the pics on the umd case match up . Okay now im confused it says gungrave on the umd and the packaging . Well my computer seems to have died . i think it maybe a power supply (hoping ) . so back to the old P3 500 HP . man this thing is out dated . i cant even get ms update to run on it . Oh well just have to live with it for a week or two till i either buy a new one or replace the broken part . havnt decied what im going to do yet . I know i can get something close to what i have for about 300-500 bucks . so i may just do that .

No matter how much deviant art holds a places for me . I still find i just want to switch the channel . my Mesage center has been the focus of later that i cant just switch the channel . Hot topics are a pet pev. that i would like to have the abilty to remove or shutout . just like there are days if not month i dont want to hear from cnn . When a commercial comes on tv i normally flip the station . (unless i really want to watch the show ) Now i have my clicker programed with fav station so i can just scroll station till i get the something that looks good . Have you ever seen that episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation where Captain Picard is trapped on a deserted planet with an alien who only speaks in allegory? You know, "Shaka, when the walls fell" and such.

It's a well-known episode that comes up a great deal in discussions of literary and linguistic theory, or when nerds start developing their own language that makes no sense to others.

While I've talked about it in the first context before, I'm here to talk about the second. Over the years, my friends and I have developed a complex network of in-jokes, references and exclamations that are quickly approaching unintelligibility to the uneducated outsider. Here are some examples of things that are just on the border of making sense:

"This is a game of beans and HIGH ADVENTURE!"

"It's like 'uterus' on a dart board."

"Because that's what internet celebrities do, right?"

"You're sitting in the Pooh chute, baby."

And the gimme that most people actually WILL understand, "They're just nonsense words, like rama-lama-ding-dong or 'give peace a chance'"

Because of my experience with my friends, I firmly believe that it is mankind's destiny to rape the English language further and further within small groups of nerdy friends, until finally, some time in the distant future, people living not two states from each other will find each other's slang incomprehensible, yet will understand "Louie Louie" perfectly.

Okay, maybe not that last part. ""

Now this is so true . if you have ever moved to a new land or town . you understand the true meaning of this . try and break into a group of ppl that have hanged out for years . It took me 3 years and atleast 80-90 cases of beer to change the slang and lang of my buddies in minnesota before i moved . Think on this for a few hundrend mins then insert Key and see the invisable arm and the striped flag bikkini . if you understand these things then you know tomuch and fridays where a bad thing in a good way . damn amy had tasty legs . Why dont we have large intersolar spacecraft . when you think about it the technology isnt beyond us . now the cost could be proactive at first but come on its space and a chance for real new frontier . the asteroid belt alone would be worth the cost of ships not to mention a great place to get raw materials for more ships . Given a chance i would gladly work for the first true ship builders in helping them explore and build in space . i look at the american space program and see nothing but a half ass try at sending satelites into space . i dont understand why we dont have a from air launch platform at the least . Instead we have some over costly by force luanch system that is outdated and faulty . its almost like where afriad to really commit to space as where we need to go next . sending remote robots and toys to space is one thing but at some point we have to start looking to get off this planet and doing something out there . Ya have to ask what are we realing doing ?
