I never do these - well rarely
I recently haven't had a chance to draw a whole lot- when I get a chance I try to as much as I can - somedays it is really easy and I am insatiable - but other days I will start sketching and then instead of continuing I will start something new - I can't commitment myself unless I have have alot of interest or I force - if I could every day it would be no problem or I am doing it for someone else

anyway, I just bought samurai showdown anthology and have been playing it quite a bit - they are almost as fun as I remember, I wish there were more extras - that series had some awesome character designs early on in the series but later some of them are way below par in my opinion - still fun - I play I & II mostly, because the whole roster is cool in those

also, I have been playing left 4 dead on PC - I tend to play that game a few days after work - then I won't play it for a while and then I try it again and get hooked - I think it is because I play online - most of the time it is a gamble if it will be fun - I would say 1 out of 3 times is great - sometimes I get paired into a team that is full of people who aren't trying to have fun - other times it is alot of fun, when everyone is laid back and friendly

if anybody has a steam account you can post it and I will add you, if not - no big deal

and anyway, I am looking for a new apt again ..>_< lease is over - and am continuing the same routine - work wise

be safe everyone,
daniel

hope everyone is happy and safe when traveling over the holidays -

I finally uploaded some art - but none of it is colored or cleaned up - they are the raw versions, -
all my files and programs on my computer are hidden, I ran a program to find them - it ran for 230 hours and only found a few images I even recognized - so right now I am thinking of just formatting my harddrive to at least get my space back - don't know yet - also my scanner is a piece of crap - there is no lid - so I have to put a pile of books over the top - so if you noticed some of my drawings have margins of weird colors or text it is because of my scanner -

It's a little frustrating but I am healthy so I shouldn't complain - I have a ton of doodles I wanted to compile - but it's gonna have to wait -

sorry I haven't uploaded anything in about a week - last thursday my computer wouldn't boot - so like I do with everything else I can't get to work I take it apart and inspect it - I had all the components laid out on my floor and on the desk -
I detached my IDE cord(technical, not quite sure about the actual name) and after putting the pieces back it worked - or so it seemed, my graphics card wasn't being read - so I was getting 4 colors - after spending 3-4 hrs. trying to fix it I just decided to do a system recovery - it worked but now all my files and programs are missing - they are there, they are taking up space but I can't find them -
within the next week or so I hope to figure this out - I have close to 5-6 drawings finished(inked on paper I mean) I haven't been able to scan them obviously - I am really itching too - hopefully soon

on a different note school has one more week and work is the same brain numbing task - but I can't complain - and I might have a new relationshop cooking - it's been almost 4 months, so my life is kinda double-sided, but I think I'll survive
I finally got an extra day off from work - so it should be alot easier for me to balance my schedule - for the last month or so I have been a zombie, getting hardly any sleep
this week I got alot of work done(art wise) I have a few projects I am working on and some for the near future - I got a character reference sheet for one I've been drawing lately - and a tablet drawing and quite a few sketches
tomorrow I am going to an art fusion - (never been to one before) they take five high school students, five college students, and five professionals and set up 10 or so canvas' and every ten minutes you switch and continue with someone elses work from the previous 10 minutes - it's at a tattoo parlor in sioux city - so I will go after work
next week when I have my days off again I will upload some more of my sketchs - I apologize for some - they are a little messy and not colored - sometime I will get that (I always start new projects too soon and forget)

(couldn't think of title)
anyway, I have not been active lately - I am aware. I apologize. - I started taking some classes 2 weeks ago while still working over-nights full-time. I think I am finally understanding the meaning of cause and effect. I have been overly tired but obligated to stay busy. I will try to request a day or two extra off a week. It's easy though, every day is almost exactly the same~
today I ordered a drawing tablet for my computer - I think it's one of those things that I will use indefinitely or once/twice and never touch again - I am thinking the latter, but then again I am unsure - it sounds fun to me - I have heard more than once from different sources to get one
I tried to draw today but nothing came to me - it might be the lack of sleep, when I finish something I am content with I will definitely post it - please be safe everyone

I am sorry I haven't been here so long - On monday I traveled to new york to visit a friend of mine I haven't seen in a long time - she told me she was leaving the country next month - It made me depressed and it bummed me out for my stay, it hurts knowing most likely someone you care about will leave your life- I think I kinda bummed her out too, I was pretty distant with that thought and I regret it now - I will try to mail her a letter to be on better ground for closure, you only find few true friends throughout life-
The city itself was pretty new to me - I have never seen so many people and some of the sights were pretty amazing - even though my hotel was in a pretty shady neighborhood (I have been experienced with that before but I was safe the whole time)
On wednesday I was getting out of the subway and suddenly billows of white smoke came out and filled the street and sky - I thought it was a terrorist attack - everyone in the streets was running and screaming - turned out it was just a broken valve in the subway - needless to say the rest of the time most of downtown was barricaded by the police-
There is a plus, they had my all-time favorite beer(Colt 45), I don't drink too often but I made an exception-
I arrived home yesterday in the afternoon and after a few hours of sleep on the plane and a day of work I am finally home -
I did some drawings on the subways - they are kind sloppy so I'll post them in scraps until I clean them up if I decide to
best wishes to everyone
I tried using it still but the strain on the eyeball is incredible. I got a temporary monitor today for the time being. I have a few drawings I am going to upload and hopefully have completed soon.
