So yesterday was the Big 12 Championship for people who watch or follow college football. It was Nebraska vs Texas at Arlington in the Cowboy's stadium. Which was freakin' gorgeous! No wonder their food prices are SOOOOO HIGH!!!!

Anyways, everyone assumed Nebraska was going to lose big time and by at least 14 points. However, our defense kicked butt and held back Colt McCoy(ugh) >_< and they only got ONE touchdown on us!!! So HA! So yeah...last 1:40 seconds of the game Nebraska scores a field goal. It was 12-10 Nebraska winning. Unfortunately, the kick off kick was "out-of-bounds," then we got a horse-collar penalty. >_< So we got them into field goal range, BUT as the seconds dwindled McCoy threw his last ball out of bounds and it seemed the game was over and Nebraska created a BCS upset!

Apparently, as the clock ran out in the stadium and Husker fans were cheering, the "official game clock," said it had 1 second left of the game. There was an official announcement to put 1 second on the clock. So Texas got ONE last chance. They get a field goal kick which they make and Nebraska loses 12-13. ;_;

So very sad it was in the stadium.(BTW I was there.) The atmosphere was devastating. Grrrr! That one second!!!!! At least we played a football game. I can't really say that about Texas. >_< They really sucked it up against us!

Nebraska football players should realize they are a lot better than they think they are!

Well at least California is nice this time of year! See ya at the Holiday Bowl!!!!

Hopefully it's going to be a good game! Nebraska has been a little iffy on its defense and offense all season...and its a little annoying. >_< BUT this game decides who's going to be playing in the Big 12 Championship. Texas is already going to be in it...no matter what but if Kansas wins then they go but if we win the Nebraska goes! So hopefully the offense is on today and the black shirts don't crack in the 3rd quarter like they have been doing...

Gotta say was one of the funnest football games I've been too in the past 4 years. ^^ I got the meet Elvis three times (because there were 3 different ones). I took pictures with some hot college guys dressed as Spartans. :3 Mmmm muscluar bodies FTW!!!! Got ice cream, and free food! Saw fireworks, watched Bo Pelini yell like he always does, make 86,000 fans sign Hey Baby and so on....

Oh and we won 55-0...though we weren't playing against the greatest team...but at least it feels good to win after that shocking upset with VT last week.


Anyways...AWESOME GAME WAS AWESOME!!!!!

That's a toughie...Ummm...I've always love cosplaying Karou from Ouran just because I have a twin sister duh! But I'm kind of act like the Hitachiin twins so it's easy to act like them and always have fun!!!

Anyways...I fell in love with Ouran High School Host Club again all because of chapter 72. ^_^ So much love and awesomeness that ensues.

Well I've been working on my Hong Kong cosplay for a while now. I kind of stopped because I just bought a Xbox 360 and have been playing Left 4 Dead and Fable II. Mostly because I won't have a life in a few weeks because college will start back up again. O_o

BTW For any Dynasty Warriors fans out there did you know the creators made a new game for the 360 called Dynasty Warriors Gundam!?!?!?! IT'S AWESOME!!! (Athrun is my favorite character...Woot Gundam SEED) ^_~ So I'm glad I get to play him but there are so many other characters starting with the oldest Gundam series up to DESTINY. You get to be the Gundam and you can battle in space or on land!!!!

Oh and I finally listened to America's version of Maru kaite...OMG awesome! And France's is hilarious with the sassy sexy part in the middle of the song. ^_^ I can't wait to hear Russia's version. Axis Powers Hetalia FTW!!!

So I REALLY want to do another cosplay from this show. I've done Suzaku, but I didn't really like it that much. (Mostly it was because it wasn't that comfortable. Leather isn't very breathable and you can't really move that much it in). So I plan on doing C.C.'s R2 costume. My sister is planning on doing emperor Lelouch.

Unfortunately we won't be performing a skit, but hopefully I'll be in the cosplay contest as a walk-on. I'll be Fai D. Flowright for the walk-on. It's gonna be weird for me at this convention because I'm only bringing four costumes. I usually bring seven. O_o So this time I actually have time to wear everything for a long time. I'm planning on bringing Fai, Sakura (Naruto Shippuuden), Suzaku (Code Geass), Wonderwice (Bleach), and a surprise cosplay that some might already know about. I'm excited to go. So if you're going maybe I'll see you there!

ONE MORE THING!!! So I've been getting bored lately. It's the summer...people get bored so I decided to rummage through Onemanga.com to see what I could read that would be interesting. OKAY so I think people should read this manga: Boku Kimi (The entire name of the manga is above in my mood thing). It's an awesome story. Its about a boy who has a heart condition that makes a promise to a girl that he'll marry her at the age of 20, but later he finds out that he probably won't live to the age of 20. It's so good! And I think people would enjoy the read. There are only 15 chapters out of it right now and it's ongoing. I don't know how many chapters the author is planning but...you should read it! ^_^

As you can see by some of my photos that I got hooked on the Twilight series. It's awesome and I love the plot of the story. Alice, Edward, and Emmett are my favorite characters and my favorite scene out of all three books is the baseball scene. That's all you'll get from me here. You'll have to talk to me in person or pm me if you want to talk to me more about it. ^_^

Anyways, got a few cosplays done. Suzaku for Code Geass is kind of done, I need to fix a part of it and then it will be done. I have Fai D. Flowright almsot done. Need to finish that before Tokyo in Tulsa. Which I'll be attending this year with Fai, Suzaku (hopefully), Sakura, Wonderwice, and the Cullens.

Anyways, I wanted to talk about the number one band in America!!! That's right the Blue Devils (I wasn't talking about pop culture) ^_~ Yesterday the DCI show was here, my hometown and I got to volunteer for the show. I got to host/guide the Blue Devils to their practice fields and to their performance field. They were really nice people and funny. Their music was amazing and made me wish I played a brass instrument so I could try out for the corps. I love competing and that would be awesome to be in...unfortunately I play a woodwind instrument so ...oh well...at least I got a compliment from their band. Well they were quite amazed that our band (290 members) could learn an entire show in one week or less. ^_^ That made me happy at least they're not all stuck up about being #1.

Well in a week I get to go to A-kon in Texas! I'm excited can't wait to go with a group of friends of mine. The only thing 'm dreading is the 12 hour drive down. O_o Sooooo....long....and boring....though I get motion sickness in cars so I just drug myself up with Dramamine and sleep. It's all good then.

Been out of school for two weeks now! Doesn't seem like two weeks only. More like a month, but I guess is a month I'll be like "I can't believe it's going to fast!" ^^'

So....that's pretty much about it. ^_^ If you're going to Akon I hope to see you there. Our group will be in the cosplay contest! So yeah! It will be fun.

So now I'm an Aunt! Which is awesome. Two of my older sisters had babies and that's all exciting. School has been so crazy I just wish it was over already. I need a break and I just got back form Spring Break. Man this year has gone by slow. However, I can't wait until next year so i can be in marching band all over again. Gotta love college marching band and football games. ^_^ Anyways, I just decided that I'm going to try out for leadership for the summer camps and also volunteer for the DCI show this summer. (If you don't know what a DCI show is...look it up ^_^) And I'm getting interviewed for a leadership position for the marching season. I hope I get a position that would be awesome!

Okay, now on to anime stuff. So Just recently finished my Ringo cosplay from Air Gear. I'm really hoping people know who I am since my costume is from the manga and not the anime. She has brown hair in the manga and pink in the anime and the costume I'm wearing she has straight hair instead of curly AND doesn't wear her glasses. SO I'M REALLY hoping people will know who I am still ^_^'

More cosplay! So Wonderwice is kind of done. If I have the time or the effort I will fix his shoulder pad thingies, but don't really want to...heh. But that costume is basically done unless I want to make his sword which I plan on doing, at some point. Wonderwice is love! BTW he's from Bleach if you didn't know. ^_^

Obsession!!!! So I got a new obsession. Ouran is my all time favorite anime/manga. I'm a girl, what do you expect? ^_^ Its cute and everyting else. BUT another anime/manga is slowly creeping up to my number one favorite. It's called La Corda d' Oro. OMGosh! If you love classical music as much as I do you will love this anime! It's based off of a school that has a music school within it and there's a competition called Conours. There are seven students who are competing in it and I love them all! Very cute! And I love the fact that they have wind and brass instruments besides just strings. So yeah the anime/manga is actually based off a game. That I want but can't get....lol. Anyways, they perform to win or to have fun. There's a whole other back story to it about finding love through music and letting everyone be happy through music. Love it! So now I want to cosplay from it since they do have my instrument in there (flute). However, the guy who plays is (yes a guy ^_^) is not my favorite and I wouldn't want to cosplay him. I would love to cosplay the trumpet player. Very funny and definitely my favorite character on the show. ^^ But I still have to finish the series (half-way through right now). Maybe I'll just be a music school student but that's never fun when you're not a character that no one knows about. hmmm...got to think this over and listen to the amazing soundtrack that it has. Oh yes, all the music is classical. They have Chopin, Liszt, Brahms, etc. (kudos if you know who they all are)

Anyways, a new year as come already and a new semester of classes! Man they are kicking my butt this semester. So enough about school...it's been pretty busy since the last time I wrote in December. During the Holiday break I worked on cosplay mostly. Got my Wonderwice cosplay done. Well, most of it. I still need to fix the sleeves to make them poofy and I need to get the boots. I also finished my Ringo cosplay from Air Gear. That's going to be fun. Though I hope people will notice who I am when I cosplay her.

It's been finalized...sort of that we're going back to Texas for A-kon this year! We're going to have a bigger and more awesome group of people going there. Yay for more Nebraskans going to Texas! I have lots of photoshoots already planned for the convention. Which I hope are going to be fun. And I'm hosting one of them (Death Note). I think this will be the last time I cosplay Light and probably Sakura. *tear* I'm on to bigger and better things like planning my Fai D. Flowright costume for NebrasKon and hoping Anime Iowa.

It's been mostly decided that Anime NebrasKon will be in Omaha this year...which kind of sucks since majority of EVERYONE who is on staff live in Lincoln. >_< Kind of makes me mad that it's in Omaha since I really didn't want to have to pay for another Hotel that I really can't afford. X_x At least this time my sister and I might be the MC's for this year's cosplay contest. But that means we won't be in the contest ourselves which kind of sucks because I love performing and we have some great ideas! ^^'

Nebraskon was a while ago. That was fun! Our 10 member Ouran group won first place for the cosplay contest! That was a biggy! We were all very happy. The only thing that sucked was the prize wasn't divisible. They gave us three prizes for ten people? It doesn't really work out. Anyways, I'm already planning for next years cons. Got some Air Gear, Bleach, Tsubasa, and more Naruto cosplays to work on. Hope to have all of them finished by this time next year. Then I can go onto the next cosplays I want to do. I went on a photography spree! Decided I wanted to take a whole bunch of pictures of things in my backyard and stuff around my house...mostly plants. Out of probably over a hundred shots, these are the few that came out the best. Which is normal. I should really start taking more photography classes. Took one once a few years ago, and I loved it!

Anyways, school's been out for a couple of weeks now and I'm going to World's of Fun this weekend!!! (for of you who don't know what WoF is. It is an amusement park). Then next week, I'm driving down with a couple of friends for A-kon! Can't wait to go! I haven't been to a convention in a different state before. I'm quite exicted about it.
