Concept

Traditional Art

Well, well! Looks like we're going to go back in time!

for this contest, we are only allowing traditional art tools. That means pencil art, colored pencils, crayons, pastels, charcoal, markers, paint etc.

You are NOT allowed to use digital tools like photoshop. Believe me, I can tell the difference between CG and traditional. In fact, most people can. So, don't cheat.

Afraid of traditional tools? Don't think you can do it? WHAT!? You're an ARTIST! You can do anything, remember! It just takes a little practice.

Those Old Pixels!

How fun!

You may have noticed that our Nintendo heroes have changed a lot over the years. Just look at those overalls Mario used to wear!

For this contest, you will be drawing older versions of your favorite Nintendo characters. Anything is fine as long as it isn't the newest.

For example: Link with brown clothes, Pit looking like a kid, Marth with no leggings etc.!

-- If you have a character that you want to draw, but they only have one version, like Ness or Roy, you may if you want to, CREATE an old version. How fun is that?

Concept

The Forgotten!

Draw an image for an underplayed Nintendo game!

This means that you cannot do drawings for the following game titles:

Kirby
Legend of Zelda
Metal Gear
Metroid
Pokemon
Super Mario
Sonic the Hedgehog
Star Fox
Super Smash Brothers (elements from)

You may do Fire Emblem, but it cannot be an image having anything to do with Smash Brothers. In other words, you'll have to incorporate themes or other characters from the Fire Emblem universe to make it work. Same goes for EarthBound and Kid Icarus.

And, any other game not listed above is fine! ^.^
So, rawk it out!

-The game you've drawn for must have appeared on a Nintendo system. This means you can even do a video game game based off a movie - but remember to incorporate elements from the game so that it doesn't just look like a movie fanart.

-Your entry must be one made for this contest.
