There is a strong possibility that some odd merchandise from the bowels of my dark place may become available for public purchase soon. Granted there are limitations through the online store I'll be using. This leads to 3 designs at a time, that however, can be placed on multiple items at once{shirts, hats, mugs ect.}.

It seems that DA was a passing fad. It has surely slowed down in the last year.

Regardless I still yell at the wall about shoe inserts and continue to staple my crude scribbles to the place now designated as "the wall".

Work time has hampered my drawing time greatly, but I'll continue the drawing.



Also I've been busy with GTA IV. That game makes my insides river dance. I have yet to establish a DSL connection and play online yet. Someday larry, someday...

First off I remove my hat and apologize to everyone about my current mood. I was in a horrible financial situation with no job.

I now have obtained a job thing. It's a tad stressful so stick with me here. Also I will have time to draw during my lunch break. SO YEY!

anyway...

It appears, upon request, I'm going to be drafting up an inking tutorial of some sorts. GASP! I've never done any sort of tutorial before, but I think I've reached a point now that my knowledge and skill (if you want to call it that) may provide insightful.

To the point of which it can be however. My knowledge is but a drop in the ocean.

Never the less, I've spent years(around 5 or so) researching and trying various techniques from ink enthusiasts of all levels and walks of life. What I have compiled is something similar to a technique. Or a mess of techniques mixed together that have given me the best results. Key word is ME. But there may be something useful in that mess for some of you too.

That is what tutorials are for after all. Being people all have different nuances, no one tutorial is the holy grail. The point is to take bits and pieces and apply them to your existing methodology to help further your own style.

Even though from what I see there is a definite lack of style around here. Everyone draws anime, and originality in that style is FAR and few between.

That and punk kids coming into the art world thinking they know everything because they spent 5 hours "researching" techniques. Idiots....

These same people wont take advice from someone who's been in the business for several years. They must be too good for help! They do know everything after all. Once again, idiots....

So I recruit all of my loyal level headed watchers to help put people like that in their place.
Also I want to start a site, and possibly a club on here for the anime prevention council.

It will be fun, I SWEARS! Lets piss some people off. WOOO!

Oh yeah, I'm piecing together and Imperial Steve site. It's going up slow and needs some optimization tweaking yet..and a menu...but yeah heres a sneak peek:

Time for me to pass on an idea to all of you. All right, I was thinking of making a Steve comic that's pay for download. IE you send me some cash via mail or paypal and I zip you a disc or files over the net. I could make the comics considerably cheaper this way and on top of that I could throw in a free small drawing as incentive.
I would reeeeeaaaalllllyyyy appreciate some input on that if you wouldn't mind! I think it's a neat idea.

Always fun. I'm coming up with too many ideas though. I may have to take some out back and make them go away.

Along side that I'm working on some T-shirt and possible poster designs to sell. All that good crap. Maybe some mini comics as well. Then you all will buy them or I will hunt you down and do unspeakable things to your shoes.

Or glue things to you whilst you slumber. Either way I'll shave your eyebrows off.

I added an entry from my book of guilded sketching. There are several more pages that require the touch of ink. One of which is a design for an Imperial Steve poster based off the Hail to the Spork series.

In other news I start work sometime next week. Then begins the scrapping every penny up to survive time. Actually I'll be short about $200 a month. Eating is over rated anyway. This is due mainly to me being such a smuck and ending up helping my father out after a nasty separation. Plus his job got cut. And you all wounder why I've been on edge lately? Theres your answer. I'm going to be relying on my art to boost my income every month.

It appears we have entered a second winter here. It was all nice, in the 50's all the snow melted. Then a few days ago, BAM! 2 feet of snow. I hate snow. I kick it in the crotch with anger.
Thats not all! They are calling for another heavy dose this weekend.
I'll be happy when spring finally comes in June.

Sketch study thing

All an attempt to better my art after some one FINALLY recommended something. After all the pushing and pushing it is but a small victory, but a victory none the less.
I was looking for some a tiny suggestion to point me in the right direction, just a small bit of helpful advice. Granted it didn't come from here. But as I've found it's useless talking to you people about this stuff.

I started inking the Steve comic. I should finish it sometime soon, granted I find the time with all the job hunting and such.

I have a promising interview on Friday. Hopefully that will go well given the massive bind I'm currently in.
But no one wants to hear about that now, do you?

I need lunch, I'm quite hungry. I'd ask for input on the sketches or bring up the question asked from my previous journal but I know it wont get response so I wont bother.

It would appear my hand is gaining back some of it's former glory. I have the pencils done for the next Hail to the Spork installment. My creative eye opened a bit more on this one. Plus the pencils came out great. But as per usual, they loose some steam when ink is applied. Such is expected. Well I haven't inked it YET. But It doesn't take a wizard to figure that out. Well a fortune telling wizard. With a green hat.

All I can say there is GURT 00. That will make sense to absolutely no one but me. Or anyone spying on me as I type. Bastards.

The word bastard is used in the new comic by the way.

In other art related events I have yet to tend to, I have some coloring to do. Nothing too major, but nothing very minor at the same time.

Is anyone else into the Paranormal? I ask this for the sake of a project I'm currently planning. RESPOND!

In other news I've been coloring on the Imperial Steve comic I submitted. I've made it to the base colors on the large middle panel. Shading is next, then moving on to the last 3 side panels on the right. I should have this sucker done by tomorrow. It's looking pretty sharp colored(I'm only cell shading it).

Ok maybe not. I just wanted an account name that would coincide nicely with my new site i'm planning.
Simple as that.

For those of you thinking, "who the hell is this guy?", I shall announce my existence!
I am a graphic/web designer person that does comics and random art(tattoos, character designs ect) on the side.
As you will soon discover I have a rather unique mind that works in ways not even the gods can understand. This will be made clear by my witting style. If you can call it that. But I do so we will for now.
