Ok, so I'm very excited for the New Alex Rider Novel due out in the UK on 1st December this year (I can hear your awed voices go "Oooooh! Even the date's slightly dramatic!")

It really does look to be the coolest AR novel yet, and I'm more excited for it than I was for Snakehead (which was pretty damn excited after a gap of too many years)

I've noticed some new info on Wiki and the publisher's site and I'ma spread it all around!

- Alex is targeted my a hitman! (Le gasp, I hope it's as dramatic as Scorpia...or at least I hope he get's shot again...in a good way! ^^' Let's face it, he keeps on pissing everyone off- he has it coming...anyway...)

-His past is threatened to be released to the media! (Also dramatic, I actually thought about this for a few books back, and I'm very happy it's in CT)

-Alex is kidnapped! And he has to work against MI6 before they unknowingly trigger the death of an entire nation...(I mean...wow! How's that for a tagline? That is just super!

)

-An evil famous charity fund raiser is using all the money for his own evil deeds... to create a global disater of sorts...(I expect this involves the GM crops issue...but AR veterans will be well used to this bad guy template...it might have been more interesting with someone with quite less of a profile, as they all seem to have in his books, but we'll see how it all pans out; I have faith in Mr Horowitz :3)

So all in all, sounds like a pretty damn cool book, yes?

But beware....it may contain traces of Sabina....

Other than that, roll on December the 1st! (UK)

I had such a great birthday! Okay, like only three or four turned up, but t'was still great. Okay, I had to walk up and down hills, cross perilous roads and strange men in vans whilst wearing some of the most painfully deadly boots on Earth, but it was good.

Okay. But when Steff phoned up to explain why she wasn't there, and it conspired that she'd gotton drunk and wandered into the bushes (fell, we assumed) and lost her bag, it lightened the mood considerably ^w^

We missed the bus to begin with! We (Shannon and I) were so happy! There we were, waiting for the bus and taking photos when we realised the buses weren't running -_-'

So we walked it...through Hell and high-waters. Well, a few farmy bits of the city ^w^;

Shannon suggested we steal a horse and ride it there so we wouldn't be late! But we couldn't catch one D:>

And then a phenomenon happened! ASDA, which is open 24 hours, was....*gasp* closed!

So we had to buy expensive cinema ket...blerh!

On a brighter side, Avatar Book 3 Chapter 14 is out! :3 :3

Oh man, it feels so good to have fresh Avatar! The double episode is a must- see- there's even a hawt Zuko fight scene! A lot of old faces, too- namely Suki and Sokka's Daddykins! And May...and Azula...and Tai Lee ( I think that's her name, I try my best to ignore her) *grins*

But Iroh? No, no Iroh! I want Iroh!

It's nicely animated, as always and there's a real cool 'Suki-goes-spiderman' scene in the second episode. Woo, Suki!

Also, some nice Zuko/Sokka bonding going on in episode 1:

"....waw, that's rough!"

Azula also apparently can fly/ propel herself using the lightning.....yah...did I just see that right? Seems kinda unlikely, but Iuno.....

I'll set the scene:
'Twas a rainy Thursday, and mother had fought valliantly in convinving me to accompany her to our local supermarket for our weekly shop.
So you can imagine my surprise, miserable and wet as I was, that Maximum Ride 4: the Last Warning shone down at me from the topmost shelf of the card section in Asda, right beside a paperback version of Snakehead (with bonus chapter not included in the hardback).
I fetched it to the trolley immediatly, wondering how I could have possibly missed the news that a new Max Ride book was on the way.

Oh, how wrong I was to be excited. Two days later, I finished the painfully thin Doubleday hardback. It's rare that I ever have to drag myself through a book, but this was such an instance.

Have I outgrown Maximum Ride?

Has the series spiralled downwards in the past two years?

Sadly I found my answer on a Max Ride forum, in a prediction thread for the next Max Ride book name in a hallarious suggestion post by

1. DRUNK ALCHOHOL: Yea, and quite a bit, as I recall (or don't ) XDXD
2. SMOKED: No, never will.
3. BEEN ON DRUGS: Nope. It's one of the stupidest thing you can do.

Having waaaaay too much time to myself in classes lately, I figured out it's been four months since the sh*t hit the fan.

Jesus four months- seems like yesterday.

Not to mention we still get the phonecalls:

Random guy 1: "Hi, is Ian there?"

-long silence-

Nix: "Yeeeeeah about that..."

Having to bury you dad two days before your 15th is not the best experience in the world and meybe I've been kinda down about it lately.

Soooooo I'm gonna count my blessings ^^

Bad things that have happened to me (-1)

-The whole death thing (I'm gonna refer to it as 'the sh*t hit the fan' from this point on)

-Cat's dying

-Can't be ars*d to go anywhere

-Skint

- The kids I babysit wipe snots on me ;__;

Good things that have happened to me (+1)

-Getting new kitten soon (cos cat's dying O.o)

-I'm going to GO OUT and buy a NEW SKETCH PAD today with mam's money....XD (+3 points for that one ^^)

-My 15th turned out to be the best frickin birthday of my life (this may be a little late now ^^)

-Because of this I've reasiled I have friends who really care even when I'm an ar*e, whether that be ones that I actually know in person, or talk to over the net ^^

-I get paid for babysitting

-I SO cheated fate by bringing in kitchen roll the ONE DAY Clarky got spat on at school O.o ...spooky, aint it?

Yaay! 3 points up! I really should count my blessings more often! Now if you don't mind I have a brand new A3 sketchpad to buy at Staples ^^- For free!! =O
