Real Artists:

-Don't copy off other people. This includes TV show styles, game styles, Movie styles, and already drawn pictures off the internet. If it was already made, it's not his art.

-A real artist has his own style, an original one, whom he doesn't need reference from other artists on how to draw his eyes or feet. Because he can do it on his own!

-A real artist doesn't get pissy and complain about how sucky his art is, he sits and asks people for opinions on how to get better. Even if he's good.

-A real artist is modest, when told it's a good picture, he never says "I know." or "Yes, it's awesome." Because he always knows he can improve.

-A real artist is able to give good feedback like people give him, without being opinionated and comparing it to his own art or saying "It's good because I can't do it!".

-You can always draw it. Always. Even if it doesn't turn out the way you want it too.

-A real artist doesn't base their art of a fandom, because he knows he can be original. And it's insulting to have a character that's based of something else, just changed into a wolf, or has a different name.

-A real artist communicates with his friends and watchers because he knows he wouldn't have gotten better without them, and they provide the ground he stands on artistically. Even if he isn't all that good.

-A real artist isn't offended when told a picture of his sucks, because somewhere in his thick skull, he thinks it too. You can always be better.

-And lastly, a real artist knows all of these things are true, because if you think they aren't you need to think again.

And Christmas is coming up soon, and I thought, let's do a Secret Santa thing.

So here's what;s gunna go on, first off, tell people. Cause if we don't have people, this won't work. :]

After about 20 people, I'll write down all the names of people who are joining and draw them from a hat or something. First person drawn draws for the second person drawn out.

Then they both go back, so it's completely random. Once your name is drawn twice, [Once for drawing the picture, and once for getting one] your name comes out.

A few months ago I went to my local animal shelter and adopted a Shih Tzu, when we brought her home we had no issues with her food. She ate twice a day, once in the morning, once in the evening.

Slowly, because we have two other dogs who eat once a day, I decreased her morning food amount, and increased her evening food amount, and up until now she was eating once a day with my two other dogs.

But for the passed few weeks, she hasn't been eating her food, I've tried putting things like gravy, pumpkin and peanut butter in it to see if the little bit of human food would make her like it more, and she didn't touch it.

I considered buying different food, but I have two boxers, I rescued from a puppy mill and they have a stomach defect, they CANNOT have their food switched, and I refuse to buy separate food for 20 bucks a bag when the dog is the size of my shoe. Wet food is also out of the question, it's expensive, I'm only seventeen, I don't have that money, and it causes tooth decay, she already has bad teeth. They're falling out, plus my boxers would go after it, and it makes them sick.

I don't know what to do, it's come to the point where unless she's in the crate for over an hour she will not eat. And I mean, will not eat. I've tried everything I can think of and what I can afford, I don't know what her problem is. She's perfectly healthy, she doesn't get human food, walked every day, she runs around, plays with my boxers, nothing is wrong.

If anyone could help me it'd be greatly appreciated. I don't want her to get sick.

So, I recently read and commented on ~Nerby666's journal about taxidermy. I was wondering what you guys thought about it.

My opinion: Comment that was posted on Nerby's journal:

"The subject of taxidermy seems to be pulling up more serious than abortion lately, a lot of people are talking about it.

Personally, I don't find anything wrong with it, I agree with you. You made a very valid point, [I don't see that very often here on dA.] Because, as you may know, most of the people on here, and 90% of the time start these kinds of situations are under 16 and don't know what they're talking about.

Like I was saying, it's not a gross thing, and it really shouldn't be that big of a deal, the animals DO die of natural causes, did these people think that the roadkill collectors buried the damn things with a funeral? No, sorry kids, that's not how it works. They're either thrown out or bought by taxidermists.

Here's something else for all the "animal lovers" out there bashing taxidermy, look at your local museum that you enjoy so much. I assure you most of the animals there, that aren't dinosaurs, are stuffed.
I enjoy the work, and I also think you have a great idea stuffing your dog, I respect you for the guts to do that, I wouldn't be able to handle looking at it everyday without realizing she'd be gone without crying."

Hey everyone, sorry for the long time of not being on, our internet completely crashed!

Also, I've got some other good news - My cast got taken off. And it turned out SOCH [The ER around here] is mentally retarded when it comes to illnesses!

I have Tendinitis. [For those of you who don't know what that is - it's when the tendon, that thing that keeps your muscle on your bones, is constantly contracting and loosening. Even when I'm not moving my hand.

The specialist said that because it wasn't treated the right way when it first happened, two things could happen.

A] I could be stuck with it for the rest of my life. Or:
B] It will go away and come back in the near future.

I'm hoping for B. Or maybe it just to go away.

ANYWAY.

I'm drawing again too, so commissions will be up, and I'm also commissioning 1/4 inch tall custom made keychains and charms for the holidays!

Me and Jerome went to go see Divinity Destroyed today up in Lacy, and while he was in the bathroom, pissing, in that short period of time this is what happened.
