I don't generally write con reports but for some reason Aki Con always makes me want to,
So I'm gonna sit here listening to my best bud's new CD (kakumei no hibi~) and do my best to write you all one

I volunteered throughout the con, which was ALSO a first, and even though I lost some sleep for it, got flirted with a lot more (o.o; ) and have extremely sore legs, I plan to do it again next year because something about it was Really Really Fun! I think if any of you met Nicky, Danielle and their amazing mom Elaine you'd be able to understand why<3

So let's see... Friday ended up with me doing badge check by the time I finally woke up in the morning, which was fine with me because I was already dead from staying up all night wednesday sewing and staying up until 3(which would have been fine) helping with set up. Pop'n did NOT happen, but I DID finally get to do young Spirit with

as my little Stein<3 and

as our amazing photog<33 It was awesome of course, especially since it was damn near impossible for us to take any in character pictures XD But our out of character ones were either AMAZING or HELLA CUTE. I also made my gakuran way too big so I was apparently Moe Spirit that time^.^; Oh! And a BIG thank you to

for lending me your Shanks wig for that!
I can't actually remember a lot of what I did that day besides that and giving lots of OMFG HI!!! *hugs* to all the friends I got to see again, some near and some far, but all of them friends I hadn't seen nearly enough of in the past couple months. Oh, and I have a very clear memory of

giving me THE CUTEST KEYCHAINS EVER!!!!

That night at around 1am or midnight I decided to volunteer some more XD I ended up also grabbing us a temporary volunteer from the manga library and we all went down with Danielle to deal with a bunch of stuff in the video game room. As I'm sure you all noticed it was a bit different on Saturday.
I went to sleep at 3am that night and then get up at 7:30 to guard the stares! I got to meet a very nice man named Hanz who chatted with me, gave me candy, and then made sure I was over 18 XDDD He had a giant wristwatch Aether detector, I really wanted to buy it x.x
Although I'm pretty sure Cap would insist on buying it, have it around, and then admit to Locke that he had no idea what the fuck Aether was but it's probably hella cool.

After I was done watching the stares I gradually started getting sick, it wasn't bad but I ended up hiding in my hotel room and kinda hiding/sleeping for the next couple hours. So thanks a whooooole lot to my friends that dealt with me then, I know you all had your own things to worry about too*hugs*
Oh! but before that I went and had breakfast in the hotel! Nicky was really really sweet and gave me her breakfast voucher, I think it's because she didn't actually have time to stop that long to eatT-T I thought I was going to eat alone, but then Ron, his buddy, and Vance showed up! So it stopped being the roneriest breakfastXD

AND THEN I BOUGHT THE CUTEST THERMOS EVER!

My cosplays for Saturday were probably the coolest ones I wore that weekend. 1. My mother's an ND, a chiropractor, and an acupuncturist. Her practice is so successful that there's a month long waiting period for any new patients and she is adored by all of them. You'd think we'd be loaded but my mom doesn't actually charge a lot of her patients... or if she does it's sliding scale. Before she went to med school she was a political activist in college.

2. I've got four siblings. Two 8 year old sisters, one 12 year old brother ('Sup Player) and one 23 year old sister. We all adore each other and take turns driving each other crazy^.^;

3. My dad has a masters in sociology and anthropology, he used to study tribes of some sort before he decided he didn't care for it. When my mom started going to med school he became a stay at home dad. Now he feeds us, cleans the house, and educates us. When he's not doing that he's going out to see the local bands and party with his friends.

4. I'm 1/2 Peruvian, 1/4 Finnish, and a bunch of other stuff. I can speak English and very poor Pig Latin. I get my Peruvian from my dad and the rest from my mom. Her mom came here from Finland a looong time ago, her maiden name was Kangasniemi. I never met her but my big sister loved her a lot so she must have been pretty cool.

5. I've got a friend named Nicky, we've known each other since we were 2 and even though we don't see each other too often we're still very good friends. She recently got into anime and video games and is going to be debuting her first cosplay at PAX! I'm so excited! I'm helping her out with it a bit and I can already tell that it'll be gorgeous^.^

6. I've had a lot of hobbies in my life, drawing, painting, writing, metal working, photography, piano. I never became especially good at any of them, sewing's probably the first thing I've managed to develop a bit of a talent for, so I really want to try and get better (Especially since I have a lot to improve on)

7. I used to think that I was too loud and opinionated, lately I'm starting to wonder if it's the opposite and I don't express my feelings enough? It's very hard to find a middle ground, and I keep finding out that I've either offended someone or just haven't shown them how much I care about something^.^; sorry guys, I'm working on it.

I don't think I'm going to have Hungary done, but the Hetalia shoot is Sunday at 11am

Pokemon Shoot is possibly on Sunday at 4pm

So those're all options. Outside of those planned shoots I've got Yako, Tsugaru, Veronica, Naoto, and Teddie.
It sounds like Teddie is going to be Monday (which would work great for me)
Tsugaru I would like to do on Saturday since it'll be my most important cos, so if there's time then maybe do it after wearing Reborn for half the day??
Thursday I don't know how much time we'll actually spend at the con, since basically all that'll be is picking up the badge^.^;;
I'm not sure when people are doing TTGL or King of Fighters, but Rai I figured maybe somewhere in that time would be good for Tsugaru and Veronica?

So I'm pretty sure all I've succeeded in doing is confuse myself more... uh, but was summer uniform P4 supposed to be on sunday?? And did anyone actually want to attend any of the meets? I'd like to at least go to the Reborn meet.

After that is Fanime and things were even more all over the place for that, before I had grand plans of pumpkin scissors cosplay happening, plus pop'n music, PLUS beatmania (and a bit of yu-gi-oh as well). Hah, lol, no. But Ash 'n Tsugaru are definitely happening (and mebe till yu-gi-oh XD).
I really DO want to do Alice though, me an' Rai are hopefully going to make it happen at AkiCon, and really I know we've got plans of doing TYL Varia but I think I want to put Pumpkin Scissos as top priority.
Also I remembered today how much I want to cosplay Rurouni Kenshin and Black Jack

So I'm desperately wondering how to go about having a flexible keyboard with glowing WHITE keys. I've been looking about the internet for an hour now and I've found lots of stuff (my god that 200$ one was attractive) but all the one's I've found for LESS then 200$ were glowing BLUE and the keys themselves were pretty dark.
I don't even need the keyboard to work, I just need it to glow. I was thinking maybe if I just got a normal translucent flexible keyboard I could just take it apart and put LED's in it or something ([link] ? [link] ?) But I don't want it to be tooo expensive...
Also these things are sealed so it's not like it'd be easy to just take it apart and put it back together. I'm wondering if maybe it would be easy to get a hard plastic keyboard with clear keys and just cannibalize it for parts? I dunno... does anyone have any ideas or experience they could bestow upon me?
