Long time no see, but I'm not dead, I promise. Life has been rather hectic on my end. Just here and there, and all that stuff.... I turned 19 3 days ago! I got to spend my birthday at Epcot in WDW. It was fantastic. I had the best birthday I've had in a while. But anywho... There's not too much else going on around here. Just thought I should update since it's been a while.

My current obsessions include: Axis Powers Hetalia (absolutely amazing!!!) and Harry Potter (Half-Blood Prince comes out in 3 days!!!!!!!!!!) With all of that and work, I've not had too much free time... But I can't complain, y'know?

So, anyhow.... What's up with you? Anything you want me to pray for, just let me know.

I'm dying to go to the beach, but unfortunately I can't. I hate having to work when it's perfect beach weather. *sigh*

Anyways... Life is great! I just finished my final exams yesterday, so I am officially a sophomore in college! Woo! I feel old saying that. lol. Hmm... Other than school; there's not much going on here. Ohh! Today marks 3 weeks with my new boyfriend. He's really great. It's nice having a boyfriend that actually acts like a boyfriend. So, I'm definitely happy in that department!

On a sadder note, I (for lack of a better word) "broke up" with one of my closest sisters. If I look back honestly, the relationship has been strained for over a year. It's sad to have to let go of what we had; or what I thought we had, but I believe it's for the best. I feel very content with life as it is, and feel no need to rock the boat by trying to fix something long broken. So, I'm at peace with it; with her; with us...

I've been having some joint problems though. Currently they're checking for everything from Juvenile Arthritis to Lupus or Lyme's Disease. So hopefully it's nothing serious. Or if it is, hopefully they can give me meds to stop this pain. Cause I'm pretty much in pain 24/7. Yeah.

But other than that, there's nothing much going on. I'm single again... But I think that's probably where I need to be. It's hard to love someone else when you don't love yourself. That's something I know I need to work on.

I hate my job, but hey, I just got an apron with 2 stars on it! Aaaannd, they spelled my name right this time. College is okay. I've had to skip classes alot this week, so pray I can catch up. And I've been really missing my kiddoes this week. Haven't been able to make it to the bandroom in days. But I'm going to remedy that in a couple of hours.

Disney was fun, of course. I ran into a guy from my psych class there, so that was random... and awkward.

Ooh, I've been working on my novels, and I am making excellent progress! That makes me happy.

I'm so ready for Christmas, are you? I've been reading some great Christmas stories, watching all the movies, and making my Christmas shopping lists.

For Christmas, I am planning a spectacular Christmas series. It will be called The Miracle of Angels. Right now, I've got four stories planned for it. They are:

ANGEL EYES- Featuring Nathan Duke, and his fiancée Emily Anne Jenkins.
Nathan is faced with the harsh realization of the troubles in their relationship, as Emily Anne lies wasting away on her deathbed in a cold dark hospital.

AN ANGEL IS LISTENING- Featuring Melody Duke, and her best friend Matt Davis.
Matt is recovering from a harsh breakup, by the most popular girl in school; Debbie Baker. Melody is the only friend he has left.

TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL- Featuring Charlotte Marsh, and her arch enemy, Kyle Lewis.
Charlotte is ditched at a party, by her bf Jared, and as she's coming to terms with her one-sided relationship, she runs into her old enemy Kyle Lewis.

THE KISS OF AN ANGEL- Featuring Loren Rivers and this guy that comes stumbling into her life, David Marsh
Loren Rivers plans to spend her Christmas Eve at the volunteer shelter, helping out those in need. David Marsh, is forced to work there for punishment. Who knew they would end up working together?

ANGEL GETS HER WINGS- Featuring Angela Jenkins and Mark Chifford
After 35 years of pining her life away in pure hatred, regret, and bitterness, Angela Jenkins meets someone who teaches her that a me-me-me perspective is not always appreciated. Perhaps Angela will learn that the best Christmas gift, is in fact, giving back.

One month. It's amazing how short a period of time that is. One month ago today, Steven Taylor Riles was killed in an accident. It feels like only yesterday. The memories and the grief is so fresh, it doesn't feel like it's been a month. But it has. And I know we will hold his memories fresh in our hearts always.

On a lighter note, I have had the most amazing week!
I might be on my way to repairing a friendship long neglected. We had lunch on Sunday, and it went really well. (Please pray that it continues this way.)
I am finding new ways every day to witness to the people I am surrounded by.
I am doing really well in school, although I still haven't registered for classes...
I still love my job...
I met the most amazing guy last night and he's a Christian... He invited me to his church this week.
I just met another cute guy just seconds ago. And he wants to have a study date this weekend...

...I honestly don't know how to start this. Umm... You may remember my journal two weeks ago, about my friend, Taylor Riles, who died in a horrible car accident. Well, this past friday morning, his father, Steven Riles had a heart attack and was in an accident. He died. Two weeks to the day. Two weeks!

Honestly, I was really doubting there for a little while. I was asking God why? Why would it happen to this family?!? I couldn't get those questions out of my head. And that's why I postponed writing this journal. I didn't understand. My faith has been restored. I still don't understand why, but I do know that God has a perfect plan, and these two deaths were a part of that. I was watching "Final Destination" (I actually liked it too. I'd never seen it before...) And there was a line, something along the lines of "Death has a design for us all." or something like that. And it occured to me... There is a design for us all. God laid a plan in place. And death is a part of that design; no matter how we hate it. It gave me a bit of peace... A hard thing to come by these days.

This has been a great week. ^.^ I got the opportunity to invite a guy to church, and to invite him to the football game tomorrow. But then today, I got my check from the last week... I made $30.96 last week. It made me depressed. But that's okay, cause it's just enough to put gas in. So, I'll live. Uggh... and I got my schedule for next week... I have to work Friday morning... From 7-11. I don't usually get up until 11. Waaah! But she wanted me to work the evening shift, and I was like "no way!" cause I wanna go to the football game, y'know? I swear, the only reason on earth I would ever get up and go to work at 7 in the bloody morning is just to spend time with my band. I love yall so much! <3 But anyways... Enough griping on my part. What's going on with you? I wanna know! Feel free to send me a note, or leave me a comment if you have anything you wanna talk about!

Okay, I just saw the funniest thing. My little sister didn't want to sleep in the bed... So she ended up falling asleep in a clothes hamper. *dies laughing* Maybe that's just funny to me. I dunno.

So...My life has gone very very well this past week. The funeral for Taylor was somewhat survivable, but not without the rest of my family surrounding me, and I'm sure they feel the same way. I went to the football game with them this past friday. That was fun. I love you guys!

Surprisingly enough, I am catching up on my homework and whatnot. I'm actually being productive! Go me!

But I am looking for a new Bible study to embark on. Anybody got any ideas?

One of my friends died in a car accident last night. I've spent most of the morning crying, and then being numb. It wasn't until just now that I've been able to really think about it.

Taylor Riles was a friend. Not one of my best friends, but a friend. I would really say a brother. And now he's gone. Just... gone. It's kind of hard to wrap my mind around it. I mean, I just saw him a few hours ago... He was there, he was real, he was alive... And now he's dead.

I've never had anyone close to me die before. My grandfather died three years ago, but I barely knew him. I didn't cry. Also two years ago, a classmate died in a motorcycle accident. I knew him, but not well. I didn't cry then either. I've never really cried at death before. Only once in the movies, and never before at real death. I can't understand it. I don't cry. I don't let thes things get to me...

I can't even understand it. I can't wrap my head around the fact that he's gone, but he is...

Rest in peace, Taylor Riles. Keep drumming, even in heaven.

So... So far, I am loving school. College is great! But then again, it's only been a week. I think my favorite class will end up being Western Civ. Partly due to the awesome teacher, and partly due to the cute guy that sits in front of me! lol

I have decided to discontinue my "Time Will Tell" and my "A Little Bit of Pillowtalk" series. If you happen to enjoy those, I'm sorry. But I don't think I can keep up with them right now, so I'll be pulling them off of here. I have a few reasons for that-
1) School will be starting up again, and I'd really like to try to pay attention at least my first semester in college
2) I'm going to try and get them published eventually, and I'd rather not have them floating around on the web.
3) Lastly, I have come to the conclusion that I am completely, absolutely, hopelessly, and irrevocably in love with my 'Owen'. Those of you that know me in real life, can surely guess who this would be.

It's kind of scary, being truly in love with someone. And what's even more scary, I find myself not noticing other cute guys unless someone else points them out first. (Usually I am an avid guy-watcher) But now I only seem to have eyes for him. And that unnerves me more than anything. Funny thing is, I'm not hurt much by the fact that he'll never like me like that. I'm just happy to get to be his friend. And so that is what I will continue to do.

I really am sorry if you liked the "APRIL/OWEN" stories though.

In other news, I have officially named my new car. It is called "Jazz" -Partially after the transformer, and partially after Jasper, of the Twilight Saga. I love it!!! lol

I also am considering having another contest soon. But we'll see... Who would enter if I did?

In conclusion... I guess I can say I'm having a good summer. I love all of you guys and I'm sorry I haven't been writing much...

Well, to be honest, it scares the shit outta me. I'm going into a completely new world, and leaving behind.... What? What am I leaving behind? When people at school think of me next year, what will they remember? Have I left a legacy? Will I even be remembered?

That's some scary stuff to think about, aint it?

I don't know that I'm ready for college, and a new beginning. I just don't know. I don't know much of anything anymore. I can only pray that my futue lies somewhere beyond, and that it is something big. I know that God can do something great with me, and everyone who is graduating, if only we trust Him. I will trust Him with my future. Will you?

-I FINISHED MY ONLINE COURSES!!! Woo! Go me! That means that I get to graduate on time. So, it's kind of a big thing for me. ^.^

As for other reasons I'm the most amazing human on earth:

-I'm just wonderful.

-I am single, and actually happy for once

-My faith has grown so much these past months

-And I'm finally learning how to accept me for who I am, especially this last week. That's a big step for me.

SO... Yay me!

And, to celebrate-- CONTEST DEADLINE is going to be postponed to May 15th!!! This will give those of you that I know wanted to enter, but were afraid they wouldn't have time, time to enter. So now you can all make me something beautiful! ^_^

Anyways in other news: I'm sick. I have a horrible, horrible cold. [Thanks, Hannah-dear] I can't breathe and it sucks.

Misfits No More: featuring the toys from the Island of Misfit Toys. It's a Christmas tale of horror and suspense.

The Elfin Dentist: featuring Hermey the elf. Hermey's story as told by Samantha the Snowwoman, daughter of Sam the Snowman.

Mr. Snips at Your Service: featuring John Frost, son of Jack Frost. It is a tale as classic as Sleeping Beauty, full of suspense, adventure and plenty of romance.

Red Nose and Cold Toes: featuring Miranda the reindeer, daughter of Rudolph and Clarice. It's a tale of adventure, with a kick-ass heroine.

These are just some of the Christmas goodies I have in store for you. And, If you're lucky, my dear readers.... There might just be a special surprise! Maybe a Twilight featurette??? Maybe!
