Woo-hoo! I'm listening to election details as I write this and the totals are coming in. It's time for the democratic swing of the pendulum.

Halloween was great, I got to go around the block with some friends and I went to a party last week.

I'm working on a ZZT project. I'm actually organizing a group project over on z2 [link] . You know how in trading card games, the card artwork is done by several different people? Well, I'm organizing a project where every screen of the game is made by a different person. Feel free to watch/participate at the relevant thread: [link] .

After reading Dan Brown's thriller Angels and Demons and appreciating the way he made the ambigrams work out (an ambigram is an image that looks the same upside-down), I went through a kick where I took people's names and tried to coax them into symmetrical shapes. A few of them worked, and I hope to keep focused long enough to present a few of them, in no particular order.

So, I decided a while back that when my old account became a glorified clusterfave, that this was where I would actually submit stuff. I have now actually submitted stuff. It's not all that good, but I feel slightly less like a lurker now.

I also had a bunch of weird dreams, there was one where I was playing a board game and I had trouble seeing the pieces past everyone's hands, one where the family photo album had pictures of a clown car, and two about a great story concept: two people meet in a world that is strange yet real to one, and just a game to the other. Like, I think the gist of my dream was that one person was "unstuck in time" and had awesome powers that they'd somehow forgotten about because that part didn't happen yet to them, and the other was playing a computer game and didn't think of it as "real" as the first person did.
