I forgot who's journal i read ( i am quite sleepy right now actually) that mentioned about the FULL VIEW option on the thumb page.
I totally agree, that sometimes, the default thumb size do not do justice on the work.
I for one, always Full View a work, especially if I intend to leave comments/critiques.
I believe words are powerful and need to be used wisely.
Even writing 'Beautiful' !!! is actually meaningful to me because sometimes an image express the word perfectly.
Looong comments really isn't necessary.
I love getting but comments are wonderful because then I get to experienced 2 way communication.
Connection.

Anyway, I have no clue what theme this journal will use.
So far, its plain and too simple. Simple is cool. The 'too' needs to go..at some point.

See, i write a lot when i'm sleepy. Cause i think less??? LOL.

I am away from 30 September - 5 October.

I'm uploading a few photos at the moment.
Hows your weekend so far?
I'm going shopping again today with my sister, another last minute one before I'm driving my family back to visit my grandparents to celebrate this upcoming festival. Aidilfitri!
I'll be off from cyberworld for a week.
Will be driving a lot, from Johor to Terengganu, maybe dropping by at Kuantan and then back home to KL.

I did my first Tag thing on DA last week.

My Quintuplets DVD is on its way here!Can't wait!
I made a new blog for my little tiny writings. One of my tiny ways of expressing as well as a thought process.

And my room is now officially set up. I clean and rearrange everything!!! Its refreshing. I'm thinking of putting a small tree in here. Hmmm..this is a gesture for inspiration isn't it?
I wonder what you place around you for inspiration?
Having a creative mind is great of course. But constant imagining is tiring. I like to have something to look at to be able to breathe.
Since, I cant be around my nephew all the time.
Its hard to get as good as that.hahaha..

Hows it going homosapiens?Hope all are well.
Got brushes yesterday.
Then I realized how important it is to have a workspace.Only one short term option, rearranged my room.I also realized how much i dont like to do work in my room. hmm..
I did few shots with my sister and cousin.They bug the heck out of me to do it!End up, I experimented with pose shots.Hah! Lights are freaking important!

whats June for me? more work (new business always seem to be an endless work....heh) and i would really love to get my hand on my 1st painting set.
Ive been meaning to paint for a long long long time, i think June is a good time for this. Since one of my dear friend, had encouraged me and will help me buy all the supplies needed.
And the only reason i'm doing this is because I Want To.
Not sure what will come up..nor will i enjoy it so much.
Surely, 31st May had ended with celebration = half gallon of Baskin Robbins!!!

How are you fine humans and what are you up to?

I'm going to a wedding this Saturday, in Melaka. that's a 1 1/2 hours drive. YEY! driving! and erm, i might head on to JB, another 2 1/2 hours of drive.
There is where a Hot Air Balloon Festival is happening. 9-11th May.
Anyone wanna join me?
Meeting up with friends there, if i get the chance.

So far the 'Movement' Search is still on. So far so good.
I just hope my first News piece wouldn't be so boring. ha-ha!
I've also been hanging around in chatroom.FUN!

seriously, its crazy.
this is the 2nd time i subscribed with DA.
Paying with Credit Card is always a trouble. Never get through with all the error message. The first time this happens, the DA team tell me its not their fault. Its my bank. Strictly, defending that its not their system error or whatever.

But since yesterday, i tried the Credit Card payment method.
Still doesnt work.
So, i opt for Paypal. Though it said it may take 5-15 days to clear up!!!
Arrghh!!! Nevertheless, i did it anyway.

AND!!! 3 minutes later...im telling you 3 MINUTES LATER!!!
bam! im subscribed.

INSANE!

i really pray, that with the error, nothing funny comes out in my credit card bills! or else, DeviantArt is so have to pay for it!

n im kinda in the mood of 'organizing', so ive been active in ing and ing artists for future inspiration.

i hv new projects in mind. a book and a clothing line.
sound so grand, and yet at this moment, it feels small..like pieces of things mashed up into one.
hence, the enhancement of the Organizing mood.

for DA, im thinking of renewing my sub. after a small luck tht managed to pass me during April Fool.
a design agency in jakarta, wanted to purchase one of my shot to become an in-flight airline magazine Cover! for 4 months!
of course i was thrilled but at the same time, during april fool???
n NO.
its not a joke. the offer comes frm a very enthusiast and positive of wanting the shot. Although, i hv to come through in the end, telling them, an issue of conflict culture might happened due to the fact that the shot is a strong Malaysia's identity.
Sadly, it had to end.

But, this wonderful incident, had brought me a bit closer to the light.
Enhancing again my Organizing and Creating mood.

I feel blessed.

p.s: perhaps, its also due to the 'Love in the Air' around me?

I had a blast these past 11 days in Wellington. Thnks to frenz esp the 2 hostess of the hse that i crashed..haha.

At the moment, I uploaded few of shots i managed to take.
Don't think i have a lot though. But i'll put it up as soon as i can.

I arrived on Friday evening, then the next day, its Netball the whole day! Then, rainy days poured in days after. but me n 2 of my frens, managed to have a quick visit the next Friday, to Shelly Bay and Miramar one morning for photo shooting!!!
sooooo thnkful for the sun!

Welly weather is always crazy.
My friends and I also drove to Mount Vic one night and heck it was damn cold!

All i can say, in the past 11 days, i experienced crazy weather -
- sunny day ( where my lips dried out!)
- rainy days
- 1 degree C at night!
- then of course the famous Wind.

so timing is crazy too. with the shopping, the bank, the shipping, the catching up and oh even a birthday party! hahaha..
FUN FUN FUN!

its been 4 days now.
Welly in weekends are sunny n weekdays its been raining.
im supposed to go to Maraka Beach today, but since its raining now..so we'll see if we cld in few hours soon.hehehe...

i played netball last Saturday.It was awesome! with fine weather.

n ive been telling my good frens arnd ere, photographers, painter, to join DA.
apparently,photography is so IN right now ere.hahahaha..
as for my painter fren, she managed to sold a paint for NZ450 and another work is hanged on an Art for Art's Sake shop in Wellington City.

apart frm these precious ppl in my circle of frens, i also promoted the ppl i watch ere in DA. see how much i love the time ere? hehe..

So, as far as Life goes, it was a wonderful celebration even though i didn't get to celebrate on the day itself, Thursday (public hols-Muhamad's bdy too) became the day to do the whole cake+pictures+gathering.

Personally, at 28, bdy isn't a big deal like when i'm young. Though, many ppl love to celebrate this day. I too am all so happy and grateful, that wishes frm friends, family and a day with my family happened.
I haven't celebrated my bday with my family in the past 4 years.

So 2008 i figure,what the heck.
My niece n nephews were there too.

But a simple 28, became more when my long lost friends, sent wishes, my cousins too! my brother bought me a beautiful present and more special --> My parents. They bought me CANON EOS40D!
(thanks to my dear dear beautiful lil sis!!! - it was her idea,since she knew how much i want it since last year)

So,as far as DA goes? ahaha..didnt have much time in ere.
but i do log in n check ppl's work when i can.
which is y, this journal entry is nothing much.


thnks also to DA friends who gave bdy wishes.

i'm exhausted-from the packing n soon repacking.
i'm tired but excited-from making the new home renovations and negotiations.
i'm cranky now-coz i jst woke up n cant get back to sleep.

so i logged in DA...looking for inspirations,and wish when i have my time back for all of me time...i can do what i like.take shots,browse for camera,write,etc tht i do.i dont watch tv anymore.
except for AUSTRALIAN OPEN..up till this round,i havent got the chance to watch it live.so rerun at night must be fine by me.

June!!!!I'll be leaving for Australia by the end of the month,with a quick visit to New Zealand too.can't wait for new adventures but at the same time,so sad to be away frm family too.

driving alone with long open road + fav music = little peace

i just got back from Kuantan (3 hours drive)
the total change is good cause here at home, its been raining everyday for weeks.
There?its too HOT!
i guess its good cause when you're not as comfy; sleeping without air conditioners and mosquitoes bites..then you wont remember what tough life is sometimes.
you appreciate more of what you have.

ive seen few good views..that inspires me.
play time with my cousin's kids..inspires me.
quick run from life...inspires me.

driving away...let me be me.

im currently making my portfolio (im a design student).
DA artists have given me loads of good stuff to spark my brain.

i dont get it entirely when i first read it..i usually get phrase fast.

i guess,what i understand is that we never satisfied and angry that we havent got it all. n ppl who r so caught up in their own obsessions & still feel it isnt enough r the ones with pity.

Now..think how can i convey this in a photo of an emotion that is so real?

so inspiration is ok.
but none in this world is better off with people doing the same damn thing!
perhaps thats why a beauty of a tree formed a pretty picture and later edited to have different projection than what it was originally is.natural not enough huh?

whatever inspiration that gets us to do what we do..its the thought in the process that counts.

so i believe that a magnificent photo is the ones with a great stories behind it.it should make us question what's behind it or made us have a strong feeling we don't always understand.

hence,nobody feel the same way or understand a thing the same way we did.

back to the matter of taste.

create what YOU are.

i'm in mood for a shopping spree...haha..NO..im not a shopping addict.
i shop for stuff probably 3-4 times a year.well,nowadays anyway.

i dont need window shopping to make me feel better.
but sometimes,a girl have to do what a girl need to do..right.

normal stuff today,experimenting stuff.
i also have a mood for reading.
so i guess,i'll be finishin off the Zodiac novel i bought..

thus..can't stop ideas coming in

One thing about me(maybe others too?),ideas don't care if i was just about to dose off to sleep or that i was damn tired or that i have other things i needed to do but didn't quite getting it done.

At these times,i have to stop whatever i was doing and get up to jot them down.Or else,it'll be gone.I will never remember it.
Serious.I've tried.Never work.

I'm learning the basic of photography now and also poetry.
Since i have been writing bluntly,with no real research of "poetry rules",i guess it's ok to learn them even if i don't really care when i write.I haven't submit any literature work here cause i have a blog for that.Maybe later.

Photography?New territory for me.
I just uploaded one i took as an experiment and it turns out pretty ok.
Although i wish i had a red Tulip(pbbffttt)
