Mum told me that our trip for the summer has *finally* been booked and paid for-- am leaving the Phillies for the States _{YAYYY; connecting flight from Tokyo *w*} on April 23rd; and landing on May 22nd--

with absolutely no connectivity whatsoever. Mum doesn't want me to bring my lappy so I'm pretty much under the mercy of my relatives; really. _{HOPIIING that they're gonna have nice internet connectivity. TAT;} Thinking of roaming, too-- since it's gonna be 30 f'n days with my mum and sister; which is cool, I guess, but, I can't really leave my lala-loves without much connectivity-- but then againnn; it's gonna be real expensive; and I really don't have much.

I don't know what the itinerary is, yet-- though I'm real sure I'm gonna be hitting New York, San Francisco, Texas and, mayyyybe New Jersey. I'm really not sure yet. X3

Kuya Kiko, our beloveddd photographer, and I schemed for a raburiii full-scale shoot. It actually only started with this picture of C.C.; and a couple of people, _{you know who you are. *wink*} asking me to cosplay C.C..

We ended up scheduling a studio shoot just yesterday, the 22nd of February. _{...and rushed to the wig place to purchase my C.C. wig; and that pink pigtailed wig for Anya that I was eying for a coupe of months now. >w<} It was supposedly a shoot dedicated for C.C.; but then again, we thought that it would be a tiny bit of a waste to be just shooting one character--

so we gunned for three.

The outtakes are MAJOR awesomeness; I'd have to give total props to JP for some awesome sneaky shots _{...and for driving me around, and for a *lottt* more stuff. :3} (will be posted in my multiply when I get the time) and to for some tiny bit of styling. Major props goes to Kiko Francisco for the awesome job; can't wait for the piccus! _{...and thank you for the pizza!}

I haven't been going to conventions since Cosmania; and to be brutally honest, it was more of a bust than I thought it would be; taking away the fact that it was actually my dream cosplay debut. I was uberglad that people still recognized Asuka and remembered the series even though it was aired a long long time ago.

I had my plugsuit revamped but it didn't come through for Hero Con; so I decided to have the lovely sundress made. It was supposed to be for the AME but because of some reasons _{annoying ones that I would rather not disclose} we didn't get to go.

Meeting place was at mine; as usual, and as we fixed our costumes, that really didn't need to be fixed much since they were fairly simple, we were off after lunch since, well, we had to wait for ~KeeleZeibel to get done with her thesis work. I loved how my eyeshadow matched by contacts an' my earrings as well-- and not to mention the lovely pair of red shoes that my mum bought for me the week before. C:

We were with JP and ~L8an8-8ce8r who was dressed as Dr Jackal _{but I call him Mr. Jackal 'cos he doesn't have his wig yet.}; but we were kinda lost since the venue was totally weird for us. x3 When we did get there, we had lunch and met up with JP's friend Bugz. Roamed around and actually found the con uberfun. Saw a TON of our good cosplayer friends and hung out with them for the duration of the time.

There were a ton of photobombing sessions that could be explained in pictures because of how awesome they are. C:

I'm having a tough time trying to figure out who to cosplay next though, and if you have an idea; well, drop me a note or something, and I'd be glad to consider. C:

Pre-Con Madness



There were tons of things to do before the WCG. First off, we had to find a Joshua since our previous one was committed to another TWEWY group. In hopes of finding someone from our school, we walked around like stupid idiots the campus and bumped into . He then agreed to become our Joshua!~ Second of all, we still didn't have a Beat; but luckily, we found and since he was a avid fan of the game, _{Just like us} we gladly draggedtook him with us. After that; we had dragonfruits' TWEWY-inspired keyblade designs made at Cargin's. _{our favourite place in the entire world}


As if that wasn't enough; we had the skateboard issue. We had decided upon basing it on two TWEWY pins. vectored the stencils; and did the cutting; I did most of the spray-painting _{with Emile's help of course} and delivered the !~ w00t!~ Team effort!

Before the con, we had to rush doing Joshua's shoes, Beat's chains and a couple of more revamp details for our costumes. It was the day before; and we still weren't done with everything. Dundundun...




During the Con


People arrived at the appointed time of 9 in the morning (*snicker* Rhyme had to be an hour early to wake me, 'course~) since we had a lot to get done. Beat's costume wasn't fully made yet, so after we put makeup on the boys_*giggle*,he and Rhyme had to go over to Cargin's to pick it up while Neku, Joshua and I headed on over to the salon to get Neku's hair done._{Since his wig isn't here yet. D:}


After all else, we headed off to MOA with some TWEWY songs in the background to get us in the mood. At start, there weren't a lot of people, but after a while a bunch of costrippers and cosplayers... and photographers started pouring in. We had lunch at Chowking and the guard even opened the restricted area just for us to eat!~ How cool is that?

the other night, while on the way to beach house for dinner with neku, joshua and rhyme; we spotted a tiny stray cat by the agno gate, just by the book return. our group usually chase and try to tame cats that we found around campus; she was no exception. only, compared to the other cats that we have tried countlessly to approach, she was different. this orange-furred, blue-eyed angel was different from any other street cat. she was ours.

i was on my knees then when she approached me. she meowed rather cutely and we were instantly hooked. the guard called rhyme's attention and told us to keep her, since nobody was going to take care of her anyway. after a minute or two of deliberation, we took off towards the beach with her clawing on anyone who held her wrong.

at the beach, we set her down to a table and petted her lots. she got used to us soon enough since we kept talking to her. first, we thought of naming her neku, but that was before we found out that she was a girl. i suggested renji; which neku counter-acted as being too boyish for her. after telling her how cute she was and asking her where she thinks her mommy is; i asked her "would you like your name to be mao?" which she responded to, rather cheerfully. that was the only name that she responded to, so it stuck.

we put her down to the floor so she could walk and explore on her own. the food had just arrived so neku and i went upstairs to wash our hands while auntie returned from buying milk for maomao. when we came back down, we saw that the smart little kitten was waiting patiently for us by the stairs. we, of course, were elated.

we tried feeding her scraps but she wouldn't eat-- she would come close to the food but not touch it. we tried force-feeding her with a spoonful of milk, which she responded to-- just a little bit.

after a while, we started playing with her. neku and i wanted a tiny bit of alone time to talk about how our day went... but everytime we'd steer just a tiny distance from where she was, she'd follow. at first, we thought that it was because she could see us directly, so we tested her and moved to the dark part of the place-- where she ran to us kawaii-ly. then, neku and i separated so that we could find out where she was going to go-- and the smart little kitten ran to me.

that night, neku took her home to his place since my place wasn't really adequate for her, and i haven't asked my mom about it yet. he told me that maomao was pretty much behaved during the long trip home, and that she was quiet most of the time. she would only meow when neku fell asleep and poke her head out of the paperbag when neku's hand moved away from petting her. that night, she slept under a basket, with food and drink so that she could eat whenever she got hungry.

the next morning, i had been informed that our little baby hadn't eaten. neku said she'd follow him around when she got the chance as well. neku left for school that day, telling his household help to take care of the poor little kitty since we were unable to. the group had been thinking about maomao the whole day; and we even came up with the name for our cosplay group; THE CAT CREW; just because of our little angel.

when neku came home, he called me to tell me that maomao still hadn't-- and refused to eat. she had been shivering and her meows sounded like moans. i asked neku to constantly tell her that every one loves her, especially mommy and daddy; and that things would be better if she just ate. neku told me that he told her that constantly-- and that she was responding rather minimally compared to before. i had a test to study for, but i couldn't concentrate at all because my mind was with her.

i told neku to force-feed her once again, with the medicine dropper and milk, which she responded to now by opening her mouth and receiving the liquid. she was wrapped in blankets since her daddy neku was worried about her shivering because of the cold coming from the rain outside.



at a few minutes before midnight, the CAT crew lost a valuable member. i knew something had been wrong since neku wasn't replying to my texts nor answering my calls. he immediately called my landline to tell me that... maomao was gone.

even if she had been with us for only a couple of days, maomao will always be the core member of the CAT crew and will always be remembered. neku says he'd burry her in their front yard because i kept refusing to see her; the mere thought of what could have been brings tears to my eyes everytime.


she's not just a cat; she's a CAT.

There was a lotta dramu the night before ToyCon Day1. I originally hadn't planned on going since it was my birthday celebration that day. Anyway, I also had a scheduled make-up class aaand a group meeting so I was pretty down on the count. Also, there were a lot of people who were trying to rip hearts apart that
day. _{Which they weren't successful in doing. :evil:}


Anyway, told me to get over it-- which I ended up doing. The birthday celebration was great. Mum got me the perfume that I've been asking for about a year now, and I got a lotta prezzies from people too!~ Daddy even got me lilies which made me extremely genki!~ After people left, _{with my beloved godson, Xander who wanted to eat my strawberry pin} I quickly got dressed to go see people from Day 1.


My twin, Ria who was dressed as Quistis Trepe from FF8 was there though I didn't get to see her in costume. I also saw though he didn't want to give me his Al hattie!


Anyway, I did get to catch the lovely Tuxedo Team!~ , , , and did an extremely great job with their Naruto cosplays!~ 's Asuka Langley was inspiring!~ Seeing her in the yellow sundress made me want to go do my nERV plugsuit soon!~


I actually miss and since they weren't there during Day2. But I was really glad to see them!~ When we were about to leave, we spotted Kuya Kiko and Kuya Allan and they made us pose for some CLS shots which turned out really epic!~ Kuya Kiko also distributed prints of our Mangaholix pictures which, as always, are zetta awesome!

Last Saturday, my mum, my sister and I went to Greenhills to get us some stuff-- to be quite exact: a PSP. I was ecstatic about the whole situation since I've been begging a couple of people *cough* to get me one since I've been totally obsessed with Tekken. Mum got us the lavander purple one, though I would've preffered the blood red one over it. But yeah; beggars can't be choosers. I didn't think she'd get us a PSP since my pink nDS is only about three months old-- and I haven't even named it yet. D:

Anyway; so yeah; we got the psp, and a couple of clothes (me has a new scarfie!~) as well. I ran into Emile and helped him pick a wig for his Genjo Sanzo cosplay for Mangaholix; and I've been extremely chipper the whole day since I had my favourite cake, Choco Mocha Crunch, from Red Ribbon. After which, mum, my sister and I headed on to the Promenade to eat dinner at Bizu and get Beard Papa's creampuffs!~

I'm extremely excited about Mangaholix event at the end of the month; but the fact that school is closing in within this week is somewhat saddening. Anyway, Emile, and I had an impromptu LxMisa shoot last Wednesday; and as soon as the photos have been picked out and post-processed, I'll be posting it here.
