Despite the cold, I always enjoy those.

My boyfriend wore a santa wig and beard all during the parade... he looked hilarious wearing it and playing the trombone at the same time We went to Taco Bell after that, and he freakin' ordered his food in that wig and beard. The poor guy taking orders, he had to like, strain his face SO hard to keep from laughing. He went, "Ok, Mr. Claus, what can I get you?" GAWD it was SO funny We sat by a window when we sat down and he goes, "Damn, I look really weird." I just looked at him and I said, "Yes. Yes you do."

Everyone called me Ms. Claus too. My friend Emily was like, "Gee, yeah, you can be Ms. Claus who, um... got a lot of plastic surgery and some hair dye because she got tired of being old." I laughed, and looked at her and was like, "THANKS, Em. " Oh well, I made fun of the reindeer antlers she was wearing I told her boyfriend I didn't know he was into animals He looked at me, then looked at Em, and said, "Oh yeah, all the time."

Anyway, to make a long story short, I nearly hit a little kid with my flag, but it was all good.

At least I completely PWNED Martin (one of my buds) in Guitar Hero II today. My life is complete.

All thanks to the book Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close by Jonathan Foer. I don't know why. It was the neatest book ever. I only read like three pages (it was my friend's book), but it seemed to grab my attention. It was like this guy just wrung out his brain and it fell on the paper. All his thoughts were in the book, as he thought of them. And they were slightly random, too. But they had a point.
Anyway,
I just think it would be really neat to do something like that. Kinda like a journal. Maybe.

I want to be famous someday.

Just a quick journal to let everyone know that I cleaned out some of my deviations... I cleaned it to where the artworks are more of my style now, instead of how it was when I was just starting out...and ick, I don't know why half of those were still in my gallery. I'm still in the process of cleaning, cos it might take a while xD;;

Also, I updated KAORI, the online archive for mine and my boyfriend 's characters. I changed the layout, and hopefully before tomorrow I'll add some more content. Go and sign the guestbook if you'd like ;D

Also, in the near future hopefully, I want to hold another headshot auction for Gaia. I was thinking either headshots or chibis, which do you think? Gah, I am so soaking up summer and all its goodness. I'm back into doing Gaia commissions again, which I guess is kinda good. [link] It's a little small because photobucket is gay that way. *shrug* Anyway, I don't know how long I can keep the commission thing up, you know me. (V_V) Anyway, I have enough commissions going on at home to raise money for teh infamous band camp. I can't wait though. July 16-22, I believe. Anyway...enough about camp.

Hello everyone, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Hey all you deviantART peoples. It's been a while since I've gotten on here. Anyway, I wanted to say hello since I haven't in forever...

I went to my best friend's (Yotsuba's) house day before yesterday with Yume (another friend), and we had so much fun!! ^^ We went to Wal Mart beforehand and bought some junk food... We were only supposed to buy $20 worth, but we almost spent $50... We bought some ramen, some rice cakes, a 12-pack of cream soda, and a lot of other stuff. We watched The Last Live... and of course, I nearly bawled my eyes out. >< X Japan is such a great band... *le sigh* We watched FFVII: Advent Children, too, and holy poopy. It was so cool. I love Cloud.. he's so cool. And he saves the world, which makes it even better. And I want to steal his goggles he wears.. O_O

Yeah...anyway, I've been sketching a bit lately, but nothing really worthy of putting on here. I swear I'll have something soon!! For sure by next month (oh gee, that's promising), because that's when I'm getting my *NEW* Wacom Intuos3 tablet...oh yes, baby. *licks tablet*

Well, other than me being tired, sweaty, and hot, marching band rehearsal went really good today, it has been for the past two days. I love band so much, I can't take it. Colorguard is going awesome, as well. You just gotta love standing out in the 100° F weather, sweating to death, being blinded by the sun, not being able to move while standing at attention, with an annoying metronome ringing in your ears, while still backmarching with perfection. It just doesn't get any better. |3

Anyway, I finished a sketch of meeeee today . I think it looks really cool, I love this style. ^_^

Okay, so maybe you're thinking, "She's only been on dA for how long, not even a year? And she's still complaining about this." Excuse me, I may not have been here long but I sure don't want dA to turn into a Corp. >_> And from what I've read that's what it sounds like.

I mean...that's why I joined dA. Was because it seemed like everyone was so helpful, and it was just so amazing to get to know other artists that I didn't even know--and to have them help you with your artworks was awesome. And so much was free, and commenting and helping didn't have a price on it. And I don't think we're losing that--it's just... I read this and I totally, 100% support it, and I think you should too. And maybe even if I don't understand everything behind it totally - I've heard people that I support like fresh4u and mincedniku say things about it, too, and they've been here longer than I have, of course. And I also agree with Niku about the dA prints - I wouldn't ever like to buy any because I've read that SO much of the profit from that sale doesn't even go to the artist who created the work of art...it all goes to dA. Which, in my opinion, is a tad wrong. And what about Jark?! I mean, I still don't know everything on this guy...but why now is he a former staff member? dA isn't dA without Jark...you know? It's like..having your favorite movie without the main character...like taking Cloud out of Advent Children. Anyway...

I agree with onestar. dA is becoming less and less community and more corporation.

So, all my watchers and everyone who is reading this now - on August 7, 2005, either don't submit anything or submit a yellow-themed deviation, scrap, etc. (I'm all for the submitting something yellow thing, lol. ^_^) Say hi to someone on a user page. Leave a comment. But bring back the Community!

I love marching. I can't help it. It's so much fun. O_O Yes, I am SUCH a band geek. BUT, now I'm on colorguard and its SOOO COOL. O_O We marched in our parade for a festival we had at our town, I nearly died of frying to death. I walked I don't know how far. O_o

Oh my gosh, I am so bored. There is nothing to do. I WOULD update my gallery but for some reason the submit page doesn't work on this computer anymore. It's always the "This Page Cannot Be Displayed" page..I hate that. *sigh*

*shrug* I was hoping to get it in the gallery before the week's over but I'm stuck with this compy for the rest of the week. The shading on this turned out better than I expected. I love oekaki so much. And in case if that image gets replaced with another oekaki, you can tell it's mine by my little *heart* eb-05 signature at the bottom. I like the eyes, too. You never know, this could be another devID or avitar or something. hahaha.

I'm back from Colorguard Camp. *phew* It was a blast though. I have SO many stories. And I was there for like, 3 days, and I learned a routine a day. It was tough, and VERY tiring, but well worth it.

It makes me wonder if the counselors get paid to smile 24/7. Counselors = a.k.a. "Happy People". Yeah. And don't forget about the 3-girl Mafia. >_> They each had matching clothes...from their Converse shoes all the way to the one ponytail...on the side of their head. And the bathroom Nazi's. I was in a stall, and all of a sudden I hear my two friends, Tabitha and Julie, like, yell for me to hurry and this one other girl from who knows where was like, "You'll never get out alive!!" o.o;

Yeah. That's like..the beginning of it. o.o; Our dorm rooms looked like a jail cell; BAND CAMP rooms looked better. Oh well. And on the second day our electricity went out...JUST our team's rooms. o.o

OH!

Reminds me of another funny story. We were like...I dunno, we had already showered and we pigged out on pizza (Everyone said I missed the hot delivery boy. o.o; I was in the shower and I got out and they were all like, "Oooh, you missed him. *drool* He was SOOOOO hot. *drools again*" I didn't really care though. They were all like, "It was such a relief from all these girls to see that guy..gosh he was hot." O.o; Yeah, there weren't any guys at camp, besides the two colorguard instructors and camp directors. ANYWAY, to get on with my story, I was walking down the hall in my pj's and my hair was still wet and junk, and I look at the elevator and there's this one drum major, flat on her stomach and ear pressed hard against the crack between the elevator floor and the floor. All the other campers with her were around her, really quiet. I just stopped and cocked an eyebrow and stared. Then all of a sudden, the drum major goes, "OMG, I heard it hit! I heard it!" Then she gets up, brushes herself off, and goes, "Anyone got another dime?" *sigh* It was really quite funny, watching them lay down on the floor to hear a dime hit on the floor below. Kinda dangerous too because her head was in between the elevator doors...they could have shut on her head if she wasn't careful. I nearly got squished in the elevator door, too, if it wasn't for Jennifer who shoved her flag in the elevator and held it open (it buzzed so it was going to shut no matter what). She yelled, "Save yourselves!!!" hahaha.

Woo.

And then the coke machine wouldn't take my dollar because the picture on how to insert the dollar was wrong, and it didn't read the dollar right or something. *shrug* I didn't want a can but I got in anyway.

Well I guess you've heard enough of my little camp story, so ima shut up now.

And I'll go...I'm tired... of typing anyway...

I miss you Karoken. And Yotsuba, you too. I miss you both terribly....

Hokay, now that I actually have time to write instead of having like 5 minutes...

Anyway, have any of you seen War of the Worlds? I went to see it yesterday with my sister and a friend of ours. Turns out my cousin was there too, with her friend from like.. I think it might be ... I wanna say El Salvador or SOMETHING, I can't remember!! ANYWAY, we all were there and it was like, yay. SO,

It was a really good movie. EXCEPT FOR (**SPOILERS ahead, please dont flame me if you haven't seen it and you read on. It's your own fault.) when Robbie goes and like..goes with the army in the middle of the movie. And his dad has to let him go.. I was like, "OMG, nooooo, you're too hot to leave!!! Noooooo!!! TT_TT" He really was a cutie, though. And I sat through the whole rest of the movie goin', Please don't let Robbie die, even though everything else blew up, dun let him die, dun let him die... etc. Yeah. And then he came back at the end of the movie so all was well! Well...all was well in my case because the cute guy came back. The fact that the rest of the United States was under extreme destruction and that they had to completely rebuild parts of the U.S. didn't really strike me as a major thing. The guy comes back, his dad and him reunite, etc, and they're all a happy family again was all that mattered.

Anyway, I had a good time.

And on to dA things...

I added some more deviations (if you can call their crappiness that) as well as a devID and a screenshot. ^-^ I hope you enjoy, I put them there for you to enjoy after all. Yay.

Hey all~

It seems like it's been forever, but it's just been a week. O_O;; It really doesn't seem possible that summer's already here, I didn't want it to come so soon. TTT^TTT

I don't have much to say. I thought I would, but once I get to the point of posting it it all just goes away. Which really annoys me. We've been planning to get a new computer for a while, and we got it..but we've had our Internet disconnected since last Monday, which was a real pain--I didn't get to get on when I thought I would be able to. But oh well, I couldn't help it. But we finally got it in today, which is good and I'm really happy. Our new scanner hasn't come in yet, which kinda takes a revolver to my happiness. V_V But oh well.

I don't have much to upload now, due to lack of scanner and new compy, but I should have some Friday or Saturday. ^_^ <3

Also, I've been watching some anime on Cartoon Network I'd never seen before, including Samurai Champloo, FLCL (<-- ), Paranoia Agent, and so forth...I've become obcessed with FLCL, you'll see when I get some things uploaded, like a FLCL wallpaper I made. yes, yes, now that I've read the manga (only volume 1 though, sadly) and seen some of the show, I'm a fan. ^^ Yeah.

Hey guys!!

Guess what?! I made colorguard!! I'm SO SO SOSOSOSOSO happy. Thrilled that I even made it on the team... I had no idea, I thought I screwed up bad. V_V Hehehehe... Yeah. BUt I guess I did pretty good, or at least the judges thought I did. I'm just happy I got on. Initiation party is on the 27th, the day right after our school lets out for summer...Wow, and I'll be in highschool next year. I can't really believe it.. It's all gone by so fast. But oh well, I guess I'll get used to it. It seems to go by faster and faster every year...

I'm sorry for the lack of updates. It just seems like I don't have much time to draw at home because of homework. I hate it.

Woooo~! Last night, I went to see The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and it was an awesome movie. Of course, I probably didn't get the full effect of the movie because I'm still reading the book. .___. But oh well. *shrug* It was good anyway. I'm in the marching band at our school, but I kinda wanna try out. Just because it's something new. And it looks fun. Twirling the flags. Pretty flags. And wearing a pretty uniform. And pretty flags. Okay, maybe I'm just acting stupid but seriously now! I wanna try out... I think it would seem fun. So, if you're in the color guard and reading this right now, then tell meh your views on it... Hey... sorry for not updating anything at all for like the past month. I'm still alive!! Yeah. I have like a ton of deviations I want to submit, but every time I try to submit something..it NEVER works. NEVER. EVER. EVEREVEREVER. Which is ticking me off, really, really bad. Today was a blah day for some reason. I guess it was because we did absolutely nothing in classes today, except Word Processing II. Just about it...oh yeah, and Spanish I. But all that was done in class, so I didn't really have anything else to do. It rained just about all day. I guess that doesn't help the blah situation.

I walked from the bus stop today to my house in the rain. Yeah, I did get pretty soaked. I did manage to save my new bag that I painted on. I spent (actually my aunt did) $1 on a small black bag that I painted the Green Day American Idiot album cover on with acrylics and paint pens. I stuffed it under my jacket while I was walking, and luckily it didn't get as wet as I did. Unfortunately, my Vans shoes weren't as lucky and one of them is currently mud-ridden.

In addition to that, I'm going to have to go in the library at school early before school starts in order to finish my PowerPoint presentation for Economics that's due tomorrow... GAAAH, I completely procrastinated and I forgot that our floppy disk drive doesn't work. It just sits there, like... like a bump on a pickle. And it WONT WORK. Oh well....I'll just go to school early.

Anyway...I suppose I'll go. I don't know what I'm going to do though...I think I'll get on Gaia. I'm fixing to KILL ALL THOSE FRIGGIN' DATABASES, tho. I mean.. WTF?!
