So, the cover of my family Christmas card this year is going to be one of my pictures, now I need your suggestions, which photo?! Preferably one that would work for Christmas (meaning a more recent one). Tell me what you think!

And on a totally separate note I need to vent a little...

I had plans for this evening to go on a date with my boyfriend and it's 8:05 and still no contact. I believe it's safe to say I've been stood up. He's been kind of distant lately. As far as I can tell I haven't really been different lately so I don't know what I did or didn't do. So I'm just venting to you all tonight. And I find it ironic that I'm listening to this song. I'm bummed :[

So I have a dilemma, care to help? I have no idea what to get my boyfriend for Christmas.
I realize how pointless this journal may sound haha, but I'm really stressing out. Any and all suggestions for good boyfriends gifts much needed and welcomed!

And on a totally separate note, I've been experimenting with bokeh lately. The Christmas decorations around my home work extraordinarily good for neat bokeh shots. I love this time of year with all the lights, the pretty decorations, the snow, the gatherings, the music, etc.
It's the most magical time of the year (with the exception of the holiday shopping)
So - more Christmas and bokeh photos to come! :]

I am in St. Paul right now - and the picture taking is not going well. It's been raining for 2 days. The camera has yet to make it out of its bag...
So what this means is - no pictures.
I was really looking forward to taking some but it just doesn't look like it's going to happen.

I have quite a few photos back home that I still need to upload, so as soon as I return home I'll get them on here.

^{I'm back to my nature photography! I love doing portraits every once in a while and the shoot with LeeAnn with really fun, but I'm back to nature for now. Those photos will not be the end of my portraits, but I'll be doing nature/architecture photography for a while.

Next week I'll be traveling to Minneapolis and I plan on taking pictures, (of architecture, people, etc.) it'll be something different since I live in the country and never have the opportunity to photograph urban life. I'm excited :]}

I've been busy re-editing some of my old pictures from years back. When I first started taking pictures I didn't really take the time to edit them and make them look the best they could, so that's what I'm doing now. So I'm going to be updating some of my old photographs, should be fun.

Not a whole lot has happened lately, just same old same old. Except this week the county fair is in town so tonight I'm going to go watch the fireworks and take part in some of the small town festivities. The biggest thrill of the summer for my town is the little county fair. I was considering taking my camera, maybe snapping some pictures of the fireworks, I completely spaced out doing that on the fourth. We'll see how they turn out I don't have a tripod.
