Well since recently I've been all about pride in my race I'm like hells yeah I do it. I don't know all the details, but I have to take a look at there stuff to get a feel for if I can do it.

Recently I've been really obsessed with dreadlocks (even though there's nothing dreadful about them, I personally prefer just calling them locks) I've faving a lot of random pics of locks on DA.

So far I've had mine for about 3 months and I really can't explain the feeling I have spiritually ever since I've had them done. So if you're thinkin about getting locks I say just do it, it's nice just waking up in the morning and not worrying about what you look like or having bedhead or frizzies. Just wash up put on your clothes and walk out the door.:content:

My daily life of things has been going pretty good for me I think. I've been keeping myself busy and trying to be more sociable physically and on the net.


I'm still going to my oil painting workshop every Tuesdays. I'm in no rush to get my painting done when I'm there it's just something I like to do do to break up the sketching,inking and coloring in PS. Also I like to talk to other artist, it seems like other artist are the only other people that I can talk to on the same level sometimes.


I've turned my local coffeeshop Affogato into my art studio away from home. I love drawing there it reminds me of Cheers I go there so much I know just about everyone that walks in and they no me. I almost wish there was one of those random clapping sound FX when I walk in.

Recenlty I've uploaded a pic named the Treefrog Samurai, it inspired me to work on a webcomic called Gunpowder Green. It's pretty much about that frog walking around getting into fights with random things such as birds,spiders,snakes,mice and other forest animals even some mythical ones.

The things that'll make it interesting is I decided to keep him scaled so he's bout 4 inches high or so. So the things he fights that are small to us will be like monsters to him.


I don't have the time to get real detailed with a story and dialogue so I decide to set the mood using Haiku's.


It's a bi-weekly 1 panel webcomic I'll post first day of spring on a variety of sites with myself and other guest poets. So the mood of each panel really depends on the who's writing it.


Also just to keep in mind with how traditional Haiku's are written along with the seasons changing. The environment in the panels will change along with the seasons. I figure spring was the best time to start since it symbolizes the beginning of new life.


Well wish me luck hopefully this webcomic idea won't be another idea I lose interest in, heh.

I think I'm going to make it my goal now to custom make a Steeler shirt that's all Punk Rock style so I can sport it at work.


One thing that weirds me out about office life is that most people around you are so predictable.


Someone ask me today how I was doing today and instead of replying the typical "I'm ok a and you?" I say, "I feel Weasel Crap Coffee" they chuckle and reply, "Well at least it's Friday"...WTH I know they mean well, but it's really weird on a Friday if you retort any sarcastic negative humor response the answer you will always get is, "Well at least it's Friday" It's like a mathematical fact or something


I'm pretty sure this response well be said no matter what negative you say will be:

Hi how are you doing? + I feel like god excrement = Well at least it's Friday

Also I notice no matter what if you put "other then that I feel great" after ANY sentence the response will be "well that's good"


EXAMLPE:
Hi how are you doing? + I just crash into a truck full of babies and cuban cigars, but other that I feel great = well that's good


(NOTE: If it's a Friday the answer also might be well that's good, at least it's Friday)


It's truly weird stuff, the likely hood of these responses occurring I notice is in the morning, try it sometime.

So over the weekend on Friday I was invited by my friend Lunchbox to this place called Sing Songs.
It was my first time going there I enjoy the music and the company there a good bit. I think what I like best about the no-smoking laws in some bars is I don't have to worry about smelling like god awful cigs when I go to these places. I kind of wished I could've spent a hour more there getting to know the people that came with Lunchbox they were pretty cool and nice. I get very shy around new people sometimes, it takes a couple hours if not meetings for me to open up a conversation.



Most of last week though I've been off my anti-depressants and have been feeling a bit weird I'm very lightheaded and dizzy all the time. I'm like getting no help from my doctor WTF!


On Sat I hung out with another one of my friends Kingjder we went to an bar/resturant called Fatheads (one of my favorite restaurants in Shittsburgh BTW)I got a Voodoo Killer Burger(da-dah-daaaaaaa)That Voodoo killer burger was great, but it was really painful to eat after a while the ranch, hotsauce, redpeppers and jalapeños made it everything it promised. It was really freaking tasty but yeah, I don’t see myself ordering that again.


After that KingJder came over to my place and we played some Streetfighter 2 Turbo HD on the xbox360...OMG that game opened my eyes on how spoiled we are with the 2D fighting games that are currently out; the game mechanics are waaaay freaking sweet in comparison. Wow I really do appreciate the SFA and the CvS Series a lot now. I totally forgot in the old SF2T you can lose a match in less then 10 sec and stuff is super-cheap. It was a nice trip down memory lane and the sprites are way cool, I’m just confused on how I ever played that game; as kids we must have use a lot of imagination or something. My guess is, that was the best when it was out and there was nothing that could compare.

I also bought an easel for me oil painting that was on sale for 60 bucks I saved $24...yippy skippy! (haven't heard that in a while)


I played a bit off WoW too and watched THE Nardia sequel last night, I had mix feelingS about that movie. I like it because it was a fantasy movie, to me no matter how bad a fantasy movie is I always appreciate it when comes out. For the most part I thought some things were dumb, now I’m sure that the book was freaking awesome or whatever; but the way that it all happen was a bit of a “WTF-BOMB”

I'm not sure if any of you know, but I've been growing locks in me hair. So far I think they look pretty cool, I'm not planning on having them clumpy and down to my ass so don't get that idea. So far I'm really diggin them it's kind of nice not worrying about your hair so much when you wake up in the morning. I did some a lot of research on locks most of the rumors you hear aren't really true (like there dirty and smelly) it really depends on how you take care of them.

This weekend I tried to scan in some new drawings I've been working on a my scanner decides to not work. That really bummed me out I didn't even feel like drawing at the coffee shop on Saturday or play WoW (intil hours later). So I decided to take a nap and eat some eggnog icecream.


Today I'm going to call Canon and hopefully they can help me. Personally I hate calling tech support on anything, the first thing they do is make you go threw a series of push button menus only to whine up on hold and put on a answering machine. So that the next time you call back your extra pissed off.

Then like always they tell you to do things that just insult your intelligence. Like the infamouse question of "did you unplug it? Ok power down and turn it back on" You now what that always never fricken works!!

Or the infamous I can't understand your accent, because the call is frickin outsourced.

Sorry for the rant I just really hate it when my equip stops working for no reason when it was working fine a week or so ago.

Yesterday I went to my Chiropractor and got tuned up a bit. On my way back home I saw a frameshop that had oil painting classes. So I figured I'd check it out, because I never oiled painted before. I remember watching my old roommate oil paint, it just seemed like something that was a lot of work with all the chemicals you have to use and the mixing and what not. But you know what? I tried it and it wasn't too bad, it was very relaxing to do.

This weekend my friend Will aka DJ Lunchbox told and invited me to a Podcamp shindig.


On Friday there was a meet and greet party in Southside/pittsburgh,PA
People there were really friendly and I didn't have to be super shy like I normally am. I got a few new contacts local and outa state all really great people. Also got a feel for what Podcasting is all about it's like youtube meets cable access... really cool stuff! I was introduced to this one site called chogger for comicstrip artist that I might get into. All and all a great time!


On Saturday I was still groggy from drinking a bit from Friday; plus I was on meds so I couldn't drink anyways on Sat. I wish I could've hung out on Sunday,but all I wanted to do was relax.

My friend Ben stopped by from Ohio, but I didn't have a chance to hang out with him.

Today I just bought a copy of Disgaea, most likly I won't be able to play this intill November because I'm busy with art and other RPGs. I've been debating if I should wait for Fable 2 or get it now. I think I might wait till December; it will make for a nice winter blues game to play when it's too cold to go outside.

I recently tried to get a job designing T-Shirts , But the company is out in Wexford and I live in Pittsburgh if I had a car it would be no problem, but I don't so there goes that.

I've been busy coloring some skulls I uploaded in DA recently, but it's been a real pain in the ass. All of them are different colors some it's like I'm coloring several different drawings. Plus my new CPU at work doesn't have PS on it so I can't work on it at lunch breaks. The bright side is, it's turning out looking nice though.

I'm happy to see some old friends on DA are still uploading, I like to see what my friends are working on periodically. This site is a little not for me, but even if I find a new site to upload to I'd keep uploading on here anyways.

I've been thinking about getting back to my art roots lately. So I've been thinking about going back to painting for sometime now.(I was pretty good if I do say so myself lol) the only reason I stopped was because going to school buying books,cpu stuff and other art supplies I had to save money somewhere. Paint and brushes are very pricey if you know what I mean and using PS saves you a ton of money.

On personal note about that subject, it really cheeses me off when people act like coloring things in PS or whatever coloring program you use is a easy cop out or something. It takes the same amount of skill to color a drawing digitally as it does physically. Granted PS can fake a lot of styles and textures; but there's no way your can fake composition, shadowing and light. If you do fake those 3 very important things it's really noticeable and looks unnatural like bad plastic surgery.

But honestly the reason I want to go back to more tradition media's is more spiritual then anything else. Don't worry it's not because someone put a bug up my ass; I just want to feel more apart of my artwork. Also, I will admit there's something more satisfying to yourself once you've complete a painting with your bare hands. If you've painted any before you know what I mean.

Man, if your thinking about getting a chest tattoo it's one painful spot to get it especially the center collar bone area (VERY PAINFUL! ) it felt like he going to open up my rib cage or something. But I took it like a solider to quote my tattooist, and it turned out looking bad ass.(I look like some kind of sexy rockstar lol ) Next month I'll get it colored, he like the design and placement of it so much he took a pic for his portfolio.

Doesn't really hurt now but when it starts to really heal its going to itch like a mo-fo. I'll take a pic of it this weekend to show on here before it scabs up.

They gave Flowers and a bunch of balloons to all the woman and gave chocolate covered pretzels to all the guys. Basically anyone sitting in front of a CPU that makes less than 30,000 is a Admin I guess?

The ironic thing I find about the pretzels really is that we're not suppose to eat at our desk, but they gave something that I could eat at my desk (ohhhhh the delima) I wish they'd just gave me some Spider-man comics that would have made my day. + =

They have all kinds of self-help projects going on threw out most the day. One of my co-workers told me it's pretty fun. I don't really see what fun about self-help stuff (unless they mean help myself to the free food that is in every room)

So instead of doing all that gar-bull (garbage+bullshit) I've decided to have a Doctor Who Marathon (the 2005 version) right at my desk, which is infinitely more cool I think.

Well I did have plans on visiting my old buddy and former roommate this spring, but that fell short because I needed to save the money in would have cost me to fly to Florida.

Lately I've been in super art mode I'm drawing up 3 different tattoos for myself. One is a Blue Scarab beetle with bat wings on my chest, a Blue Rattle Snake wrapped around my left arm to my shoulder blade and grim reaper and angel under my fore arm.

So to look good when I get these tattoos I've been working out and dieting a lot lately. So far it's been working out well, I feel good and I drop a pants size. I think by the summer I'll have the convenience to walk around with just a tank top in public and show off my tattoos.

Also I've been studing some new art techniques; So I've been buying artbooks and robot figures for references I don't want to say what my idea is right now just incase this new style I'm working on doesn't pan out.

It doesn't mean I'm changing my art style for those of you that enjoy it. I'm just expanding my talent tree that's all. So you might see some studies in my scraps section in DA.

I got some vacation time saved up I think I'm going to visit one of my friends this spring in Florida. So now I'm working on some concept robot designs for a indepent videogame company.(anything that has to do with robots are ok in my book the only thing that can top that is Robot Kitten Zombies)

Some of my ol' AIP friends are working on it and also a few hardcore "in the industry" people as well, I'm really excited! Tonight I have a online meeting to get me up to date on whats going on with them. I figure why the hell not work with them it's a win-win with me. One hand the game does super well I get some money and I have something under my belt to show from it; On the other hand if something happens where the project is put on hold or I can't continue I get to keep what I worked on for my porfolio. Man the best part is since they have investors I don't have to pay for art supplies, they'll just send me the money or reimburst me when i send them recipts.(yay!!)

I see this as a workshop class like in AIP;I'm already brainstorming ideas can't wait to work on this tonight. I'm also making good progress on my childrens book, I picth the idea to a few of my friends they seemed real exicted for me and seemed real supportive about it me doing it.

TGIFridays also sent me a $25 gift card for fudgen up my order last weekend, man I don't know what to get I think I might just treat my friends to desserts and appetizers next time I go with them.

I think when I go home pizza and energy drinks on me. (hopefully I won't pass out from all the grease and caffine)

Today I think I going to work on some logos and mascots for my myspace,DA and just my random site. Today I feel in a productive mood too bad I'm stuck at work. I think if I have some energy left tonight maybe I'll actrully get around to send my friend this contrct I'm suppose to read and sign. (God I hate paperwork,contracts and anything I got to read thats not cool information feels too much like homework you don't want to do but got to do anyway)

In my last journal I was pretty piss at someone,but not just at them but certain type of people in general. It was one of those "straw that broke the camels back" kind of deal, so sorry if I scared yuh. Those of you who know me...I mean really me, know I got bit of a temper and wouldn't say something unless someone keeps pushing about stuff that doesn't matter. But enough about that crap time to move on and prepare for Animecons and Halloween parties with my friends.

This year I might dress up I don't know,I always say I am but don't. For Halloween I might dress up as Flava Flav(what do you think?) For Ohayocon I might dress up as Junpei from Persona3 (I think I kind of look like him espeacial sense I sport a goatee,blazers and a baseball cap a lot)

If you think something is wrong with a arm or leg or think i should try a different approach next time, ok. I'm not a snob I don't even claim to be great I suck at drawing a lot of things. But if you just don't like the color,interest,don't understand or think the picture is lame and plain don't like it. Do what I do when I see any of your work that rubs me the wrong way, "JUST DON'T COMMENT!" I'm not scared to get bad comments or be like a whiny kid that had there ego crushed, I'm not here for any of that.

I'm not going to badger you about something that I don't like and if i don't like it I'm not going to blow smoke up your ass. If need a critique I have friends that I trust that I ask that knows how to do it without being a ass,lie to me,make me feel like shit or embarrass me.

Since I'm surrounded by educational videos and teachers all time I've been thinking about getting into writing children's books.Most people around here thinks that might be a good idea for me so I'll give it a shot I guess.

I took a break from persona 3 for a while,and one of my hobbies this year is buying living room decor for my apartment. So far it's slowly turning into a hip looking place if I do say so myself. Last night I played some light rock,ate some strawberry icecream and lite a chocolate cherry candle...that I might say was a very relaxing evening.

On Friday I pretty much played a t0n a 0f Pers0na3 (a very g00d game BTW) f0ll0wed up by finishing Read 0r Die the TV (a anime series incase you d0n't kn0w)

On Saturday I Played more Persona3, at this point I'm getting sick of grinding Tartarus.The high shcool sims part of the game is great I wish it was more indeep with the things I can do. Maybe some minigames in the video arcade would have been great.

When I wasn't playing Persona3 I was listening to a lot of music and played my guitar. I played so much I put blizters on my fingers too the point I was peeling dead skin off the next day. I've been trying to play songs like AKFG,but most of the time when I play I'm feeling lonely and depress and my songs whine up sounding like Coldplay or fight scene music from Desperato. I'm getting better at playing rhythm but can't play lead to save my life.

I really wanted to go over one of my friends house and hang out with her, but her brother was over all day doing laundry all day. So later that night I went for a walk,the air and temprature were fantastic, I ended up going to a local coffee house 3 or 4 blocks away from me to draw. It was a pretty nice atmosphere to hangout at very good music too.

On Sunday I woke up and you guess it played more Persona3.I also with Blistered finger tips played more guitar I really should start recording things I must came up with a crap load of nice rhythm beats that I forgot now. I think I'm ready to start practicing with people,cause it's hard for me to keep pace with myself. I need other people to play certain parts with me,I'll play a rhythm beat then accidently play a part another guitar should play(it's like trying playing 2 parts a once) it totally throws off my tempo. My friend Brian said he might try and put together a drum mix for me to help me out.

I must of listen to pandora.com a crap load of times trying to play by hear. I also attemped to play the kid video theme song which is a lot harder then I would have thought.

Later that night I talk to a couple of people online and played more persona3 my chracters are getting pretty powerful. Also uploaded a crap load of pics of myslef on my Myspace page(check them out if your on my friends list and comment them please). I only had the game for a week and a half and I'm way past the part my friend was at he had the game a week or to before I bought it.

Sunday for the most part went pretty fast as a matter of fact it seems like Sunday and Monday were the same day.

On Monday I slept a lot and just played Persona3

The days started out pretty good I got to see kamen rider from the 70's (which rock btw)and Devil May Cry the anime, which I kind of liked too. I wish we got there sooner it was nice finally hanging out out with my old friends again and just having a good time. I also spent some of the con dancing at a rave, which was also cool I dance with with 2 cute girls and one of them kiss me. I also got a bit of random hugs from cute girls for some odd reason which was also cool.

The only down part that bummed me out was when everything was going cool,I bump into some so called friends of mine and they started making fun of me. (It really pissed me off) They were pretty much making fun of my gear and the way I looked. (which I found later ironic,because that one of the reasons most of the girls there were attracted to me,they thought I was adorable or something;so I guess I got one up on those guys)

The artist I hired to draw my snake tattoo couldn't do it (bummer) but it's cool I understand how it is when your busy with other things,but she did send me a bunch of referance stuff to help me out along the way.

At work everything same old,same old I started working more on my little comicstrip here and there. Yesturday I had some performance review thingy. I swear my boss is a total tool sometimes,but he's more or less a nice guy.He reminds me a little of that boss in that show The Office.

The review went ok for the most part he gave me basics for everything, because I haven't been here long enough at the end he told me he's going to hook me up with a company laptop; (yeah) so I can do some steaming video web stuff at home for my job. The cool part is now I can hangout with my friends and family and not worry about going home to work on art stuff, because now I can take it with me.

yesturday I finish up rewatching 1st season of Heros on nbc's website [link] and got the chance to watch The Black Donnellys (the first episode was blagh) but it got good fast. I swear if you have the internet at work and are bored as beans go there,because it's streaming video on there site and you don't have to download a player to watch it.

well that's about it unless you want to hear about my love life, but I think I'll save that for a shrink and trusted friends.

Well things are going pretty good so far with this new job of mine. It's boring as all hell,but you know... I like that way it gives me time to think about things. As long as there not nagging at me about stupid stuff it's all good. The pay is decide,I'm not rich or nothing but it's enough to pay off my loans and a little left over to save and buy things that I like.

I started play WoW again (arrrrrggrrgghh!!!) The brightside is it's easier to quit,because that game can get boring fast.The reason I started playing again was because I needed a game to play(RPG) and I didn't want to run out and buy a Xbox360 just yet.

My friend Melak IMed me a couple days ago him,Eric and I are going to sign up for some MMA(Mixed Martial Arts) together.Which is cool because I really miss doing Judo, plus i get to learn some Muay Tai. I swear those two styles are made for eachother weakness for both styles helps one another making it a perfect blend.

That's about it,I not doing as many tattoo designs anymore, I have bad luck working with tattooist that owns shops I think.(that guy from Ink Monkey was too mean) So now I finally have time time to work on my comic if people stop bugging for all my free time.

Matt and I think Aja are coming to Pittsburgh for that furrycon, I look forward to hanging out with Matt for a bit,just like the good ol'days (I won't hold it against him,but I sure wish he pay me back that gas $)

And in 2 weeks I venture off to Otakon, I have really mixed feelings about Otakon it's becoming too commercial and too big.The real suck part is all the regular people I use to hangout with won't be there and to top it off Dir en Grey going to be there and the concert is sold out!(oh well)

What I've been up to lately you ask?

Well I finally got one of my tattoo's done on my right shoulder,now I have to get the guy to do the other one on the left. It turned out ok but, he forgot a little line in the kanji, I'll get him to fix it when he does the the other one. (I can't wait intill he's done)

I hate going there he's a ok guy and all,but he's too mean for my taste. He curses waaaaay too much at people,even at yours truely which I'm just about sick of and he's always running late. Which I can't fault him on too much because he just fired one of his tattoo guys and he's running the shop all by himself,but still I hate being kept waiting if I set a appointment and I make the effort to show up on time.

But I'm not going to bad mouth him (too much),like I said he's a ok guy,he's quick react with "fine if you can't do it get the @$#@ out of my face!" additude (I don't need that)

Lately I've been doing a little free lancework designing things for him, because he hooked me up with a super discount which I payed in advance for. I wanted him to finish my other tattoo so I kept calling him about it, not everyday but like 3 times a week because he never gives me a stiraght answer everytime.Each time I call it's "I'm busy tattooing someone call back" or "I hanging out with someone right now" I'm not in the business of bugging people over the phone, but when you say your going to do something for me do it so I don't have to bug you about it. We'll see who bugs who when he finishes my tattoo and needs something drawn,because frankly I don't give 2 shits about what he needs.

yesturday I just finish the back of his busness card, I would have charged him $40-$50 bucks, I've been keeping tabs base off of discount he gave me. He pissed me off a bit yesturday, because I show up to the shop after work and he went shopping(he knew I was going to be there). I had things to do that day so I walk up to and say "ok lets do this thing" and he replies, "ALL RIGHT I JUST WALKED IN DON'T EXSPECT ME TO GIVE YOU ALL MY ATTENTION!" (wtf!)

I was a little piss about that,because for starters I don't give a crap about being there, your not fuckin paying me (we're kind of doing a trade off), and your the one that needs my help designing a business card in a couple of hours; I've have better shit to do then wait around for your ass! (Unfornately it not going to be a good idea for me to tell him all this shit now because he still hasn't done my other tattoo and I already paid him)

(This is why I hate commissions your time is not yours, people get knit picky and when you try and get things rolling ASAP then they take all day getting back with you on input and at the last minute want you to hurry up.

So yesturday I went to visit Steve to see how he was doing,he seem to be ok. I also went there to ask him to fill out a work refrence form for my new job at AIU3,and I asked him about my skull tattoos he told me his buddy would hook me up.

So Steve calls the guy and tells him about my Tattoos ,and the guy talks to me over the phone and says well since your a friend of Steves you'll pay half the price you would have at any other place. (Which FUCKIN ROCKS! ,$50 each FOR 2 TATTOOS OMFG!) I might talk to him about the Japanese characters too,hopefully he can do it

Ok after all that it’s now Saturday; Malik calls me and tells Brian is coming into town (Sweet!) So I quickly wash up change my clothes and head out for the bus. ( I feel like crap I didn’t get that much sleep and I’m feeling a little sick) when I get off the bus I saw Malik (what timing!) but he didn’t see me so I throw a rock at his legs to get his attention (hahaha). After that we walk to the Greyhound Station and we find Jason waiting there already (awesome! The timing is frickin sweet!) We walk inside and find Brian and we’re off.

As we’re walking back down the bike trail we almost get ran over by a bunch of bicyclist (WTF!? Welcome back to Pittsburgh Brian lol) we walk and talk for a while and catch a bus to Malik’s place, (god this bus is fricking crowded) When get there I’m sooooooo hungry I haven’t ate anything for a while. So we got to the store and this Chinese food restaurant I got some pineapple chicken (it was really good!)

After that we chill at Maliks and started to watch things and do the whole guy hanging out thing. After a while we start to do some Burpies (now what Burpies are is a exercise thing were you do as many jump squat thrust’s as you can in 4min with 20sec breaks in-between…A LOT HARDED THEN YOU THINK!) god I haven’t work out in soooooo long it was a really good work out.

After that we were a little fired up to go outside for a while a walk around for a bit. Outside was very nice !it looked like there was a festival or something; people were around doing things, music was being played by local musicians and kids were running around playing; It was something I only see in movies or T.V. (it wierded me out a bit)

It was getting dark pretty fast, but we kept walking has we walked on we decided to walk to one of the local parks for a bit. We find a park and we a couple trying to make-out they saw us and they bailed (sorry buddy no nookie for you tonight lol) so we’re goofin around at this park it was fun I haven’t swung on a swing in forever! I started to think about Stacy a little bit a wished she was there.

After a little bit of goofing off the guys decided that we should play ‘Gravel’ (what Gravel is it’s a playground game kind of like Marco Polo meets Freeze tag, the person that’s it walks around a small area of the playground. The other people hides at a jungle gym while the person walks blind around the gym yelling, “Gravel!” and try’s to tag them. If your foot is on the ground when the person yells “Gravel” or if your tagged your it and you also have to help him as a blind zombie minion) I had some kickass hiding spots. We played a little of that and we just sat around and talk some more about this and that, life and death juke like that. I then we started to joke around about what if some crazy looking goblin came out and he was friendly what would we do?

While we were talking I notice something shadowy walking in the woods behind Brian, I tell Brian there’s something behind him I don’t think he believed me at first. (Can’t say I blame him it’s the oldest joke it the book)But then Malik and Jason saw it too at said something, it creeped out of the woods slowing and behind Brian, I didn’t know what to make of it at first I thought it was a dog or a badger or something. It was big about the size of a Badger but I don’t think badgers live in Squirrel Hill. Once we all notice it and it knew we noticed it ran to a tree and climbed up it. The thing that wierded me out the most was it climbed the tree like it was kind of bear/monkey.

After being totally freak-out we went back to Maliks and watched Afro-Samurai, I really didn’t like that show. It was cool, looked nice, awesome premise and very well animated. (A little too well, there was so much secondary motion it was too much to consentatrate on) I pass out even hype up on caffeine pills.

So I crash on Maliks couch and went to sleep

all and all it was a awesome day,I had a lot of fun and made some funny memories

After I left work I decide to visit my old pals at Verisonwirelss at downtown. It felt nice seeing them all again I really miss them,it was the fist job I ever had where my co-workers felt my more like my family then any other job I had.

While I was there my old manager Steve tells me that he was planning on going to a club and ask me if I wanted to come along. I figure I'd go if Jason couldn't come over and watch Gunsword. So Jason couldn't make it and the evening was getting late so I figure sure why not go with clubbing Steve.

So he picks me up and we head downtown to park his car,then we walk to the club early. Before we get in the bouncers saids to me, "Hey no hats you have to put it in your car" I'm like WTF?! ok ,"but we park the car across the brigde can I just put it in my pocket?" the bouncer replies, "no" So we went next door to a bar to play some very bad pool,upon leaving I just stick the damn hat I had in my back pocket under my blazer anyways and went right into the club.

Inside the club it was wierd there were differnt rooms for different type of club goers, a hip hop room,blacklight techno room, a raver type room,etc;and of course there girls wearing hats(go fig?) So we met up with Steve's friends and dance with them for a bit( it was ok).After a while he's girlfriends had to roll and a couple of his boys roll in and we chill at the bar with them. This one girl that knew Steve starts to talk to me and introduces me to her friend,we talk for a while and I ask her friend, "does she want to dance?"; she says,"sure" and we get are freak on.

After a while the girl I was dancing with friend comes out of the blue and grabs her friend by the hand and says, "I'll bring her right back" which translates to I'm pissed about something and were getting out of here now.(man I hate the we gotta-go-girl ... man were was my wingman!)

After that 5 minutes later some chick gives me the eye and grinds me with her butt right into the wall (now that was awesome!) turns around and winks at me and said,nice meeting you and and runs off(wooooooow!,of course I checked my wallet and everything seemed cool,so it was all good )

After that I was feeling pretty psyche to dance with more chicks,But Steve for some reason wanted to go to Club Erotica(strip club) I wasn't really feeling that,but Steve said he was paying,so sure way not?

We get in there and this place looks ok,a lot of girls looked like they were still in collage and some looked like the steryo-type crackwhore. (btw Steve pays for 4 of us to get in $80 bucks total)
Steve buys us some drinks and we stand around for a bit,after a while I'm like fricken tired and my legs are feeling a bit numb so I sit down. (bad idea if your not planning on shelling out dough) All of a sudden girls come out of nowhere and start to talk to me. I didn't have any $ and if I did I wouldn't give it to them,they weren't showing me anything I haven't seen before. I was talking to a friend of mine on AIM and I was showing him what I've been up to art wise on DA. So he responds, "wow good work...(blah,blah,blah) are you trying to get a job as a concept artist?" I never really thought about it before, so tells me he could show my stuff to one of the concept artist he works with. I'm like cool,ok,what could it hurt, I'm a little curious what you need to have to be a concept artist for a videgame company?

So this guy starts by asking me what kind of job I'm looking for, I thinking to myself (well I'm not really looking for a job) so I answer," I guess concept artist". Then he ask me what company I want to work for (I'm like whoa,whoa slow down here how should I know I just wanted to know what kind of stuff do you need to put your porfolio,these are lot questions your asking me ) So he's like twisting my arm for a answers and I just randomally say Capcom.(now mind you Capcom rarely/never hires American artist, I know this, but they have hire artist for there Cali division which is mostly puslishing, but they have put job postings for artist for Capcom U.S. before in AWN [a place where artist can look up job postings])

So I get a defensive when he tells me this like I don't know,(I know what your thinking,well why'd you say capcom?...I don't know, just felt like I had to say something and he kind of back me in a corner for a answer)

So then he starts on my skill level, and he ask me, "what kind of style is this?", "how long you've been drawing like this?", (listen folks I don't know what kind of style I draw in, I draw what I draw,some people thinks it's anime(which it's not and I get really PO'ed when people think that),some people think it's comicbook style, i never tried to label it,beats me I never really tried to copy someone's style before, (well except the time last year when I watched a lot of JLU )
but people seem to like my style and I'll continue to draw the things I draw, I draw for fun and for me.

I guess he thought I could only draw in that style since it's the majority on DA. I can paint in watercolors,reg paint,marker render,work charcoal,chalk,paint animation cells and build 3D models. But the stuff I have on DA really doens't show that.

I already knew most the stuff he was getting at,like you don't what to show a portfolio of bloodly space marines to Nickoleon, or cute fuzzy animals to Rockstar.. that's a big duh. And I felt like he was treating me like some punk 12yr that doesn't know better.(no offense to anyone thats 12 or something)

The whole conversation was getting sour,but during the whole AIM; things just came out wrong, because for some reason people think thier mind readers when they IM you and short answers and not responding fast enough means your pissed. I'm waiting for big ass 37" HDTV to come in hopefully nothing will be wrong with it. you get a slow cooker if you buy it too lol, at time I order it it was $599 I guess they jack the price up a bit to $629.If you don't know much about HDTV's this is a retardly good deal for that size TV most of them run for $650-$900

when I get this TV it's going to be great I can finally paint in Photoshop at home and watch youtube on the big screen. All I need now is a Xbox360 and/or a Wii and I'll be set.

Right now it's raining Cats and Dogs outside, I was planning on going out for a drink then draw at Beehive or Starbucks,but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. Maybe it for the best because I really should be saving back up my money because I had over a grand in bank then spent it all in 1 one day.

King Koopa cracks me up whenever he shows up and Mario's falling asleep in the middle of people talking to him is pretty funny too.The controls are most excellent and the fun factor and replay value are pretty awesome.

I hate St.Patricks day just because some people around Pittsburgh don't know how to drink and the buses are full of drunkin loud assholes.

Other then that my St. Pattys day was pretty nice and plesentful, I spent most the day hanging out with my old roommate Jason for a bit,then we went over to are friend's house and did some shots of jagger and jack.(I was buzzing but not drunk) We also played and shit load of soulcaliber 3. Man I wish I was good at that game,but I do fairly well against are circle of friends.(my favorite character is Maxi)

Jay Griffin also gave me a Zippo lighter,so now lately I've been practicing some Zippo tricks (I think people think I'm some kind of pyro now lol )

The next we had breakfast/lunch at a chinese buffet in Oakland. Later on I went to Starbucks and hangout there and drew for a bit. I think next time I'm going to the Beehive because I think I'm getting sick of Starbucks atomoshpere some people there seems so snobish.

I also went to Slackers(a punk rocker store) and bought 2 really cool shirts with stars on them.

OMFG! I never seen a movie that had so much stabbing in it,ever 5 seconds someone was getting stab. Fuck man I think the worst was it seemed like for how many times someone was stab they yell SPARTA! a fuckin lot.

The story was nonexistant, but it was a entertaning movie if some ask you to play a drinking game while watching 300 evertime someone says "Sparta or Spartan" don't!!....please don't you'll die of alcohol poisoning.

It's funny if you seen the movie try to explain to someone else the part you like, "well I like the part that guy came in and stab the other dude" or "man that part was awesome you know... when that guy with the cape threw his spear at the other dude" WTF!

I think the biggest shock watching the movie to see someone not get stab.

After all that crazy blood shed,I went on youtube and watched 21 jump street...I don't know, I thought in was a wierd way to cap off a bloodly evening

The funny part is he's just saying what we all been thinking about a lot of nintendo games in the past,but we were just to chicken shit to say something,because if are mom's found out that the $60-$80 game was a piece of shit she'd kill us.(hehehe notice I said "mom", it was always your mom!; If I have a dollar for ever horror storie that end with this "my mom throw away my nintendo") I'd have a PS3 and enough money left over for some games.

Dezkray (a deviant on here) colored one of my characters for me (it's on my favorites gallery somewhere), it really pimps I like the way he tackles shading. (Makes me wish I wasn't so lazy after I ink something)

Anyway seeing that colored inspired me to keep going with the comic short.

On Friday Beth invited me to some going away thingy for a buddy she knew named Leslie, I wasn't to sure if I knew the guy.

Before I went to Dee's that night I decided to head over to the Beehive and work on some drawings.I got 2 backgrounds done which was cool. My 2 friends Lacey and Jackie where there to they kept me company while I drew. The problem is I make poor conversation when I'm drawing and never know what to talk about sometimes.

While I was at the beehive I bumped into Scott,I sat and chatted with him for a while. Scott is a pretty interesting guy to talk to,with him it seems no subject is taboo, I like that in people I talk to it makes for better conversation.

After talking to him i asked him was he going to Dee's also, I assumed he was I just didn't want to walk in by myself.(I guess in was fate that he walk in...or a random accurance)

Rocco,Ducky,Beth,Brian and all the people I knew showed up around 10ish, Man Rocco reminds me of that 360 game with Kevin bacon(not Xbox 360) I just seems that everyone I know in pittsburgh can be traced back to Rocco it's weird (I guess he really gets around).

I met some new people that night and also talk to a few I haven't seen in a while,got tipsy off of one beer or it could have some thing to do with the tylenol cold I took before I went there(Tylenol + Beer = uuuuuhh blaghhhh! )but I still had a great time.

On Saturday I felt a little sick ,I was suppose to go over my friend Dave's house but I wasn't feeling up to it. So stayed at home and played Paper Mario some more I think I'm pretty close to beating the game.

On Sunday it was pretty much the same as Saturday except that I ate a crap load of frozen pizza and made my stomach a little quzzie. I was trying to make a new character and paint those backgrounds I drew,but the call of the videogame gods is strong.

Later on that night I popped in Starwars as background filler ,but just pass out on the couch.

For fun around here I surf the net and check my Netfilx and Blockbuster rental queues(pretty lame huh?) My only portal to the outside world since I can't check my regular email is deviantart.(That's why I've been posting regularly in my journal)

Today I was organizing some movies titles in Excel for my boss and notice they were arranged like some kind of word poem at blues club or something,so I put a bunch that were in a row made a poem out of them.(weird huh?) I posted it in my gallery ,I might move it to scraps in a week or so

I've been a little sick from yesturday and today which really sucks because we've been have some ok weather and I wanted to go out.

Tonight a bunch of people I know are going to Dee's at 9:30(a bar in southside)Maybe I might show up

Man this really sucks ass! if it was one of costume ones I wouldn't care less but this is one my mom gave me.I'm hoping I just forgot to put it on when I got up because I was in a rush

I was planning on going to the Beehive and draw tonight right after work,but instead I'm going to go straight home and see if it's still sitting on my cpu desk if not I going to be bumbed about for a while. lately I've been losing stuff that I own I liked...wierd

Yesturday I had a dream that Esteban showed me how to play guitar,the funny part was when I woke up I remembered the chords(but of course I was too tried to run to my guitar and play them,later on during the day I forgot them)

So anyway, if I find my ring at home I'm going to go to the Beehive and finish drawing my comic thumbnails while the idea is still freash in my head.It's only a 10 page comic,crap I never realized it's a lot of work when your doing everthing yourself. I'll post it up on deviant art and on my myspace account (if I get done),if people like I might do more (we'll see)

On Friday I pretty much vegged out a little and took care of some things I tried to workout,but after work I mentally get too tried to do anything.

On Saturday I woke up and played a shit load of Paper Mario, then around the afternoon I did some Tae Bo:Fat busters after that hour of bliss I felt great and watch a little bit of Pete and Pete and Gundam 0083.

Later on my friend Kayla gave me a call and told me she was going the Tequilla Willies,because she was bored and a little stir-crazy TW is some club in the Strip district that was suppose to be upscale. So I went with her and her friend Chirsty,I had fun hanging out and dancing with them.

BTW I hate TW it's really ghetto,I really hate places like that,it's nothing but a bunch of horney want-to-be gangtas thinking there the shit. Man they didn't even play any techno it was totally lame.Plus I had to pay $10 bucks to get in (what a load of shit!),at least the drinks were cheap (but who'd want to get wasted in a place like that?)

I whinded up taking a cab home that night, the cab driver was pretty cool except for the fact he didn't know where Bellevue was (WTF? I'm like ,your a cab driver ya dick your suppose to know these things!) in the end I gave him directions and it cost me $14 bucks(shit he should of tipped me instead)

On Sunday it was offically my birthday,so I spent the whole day watching Pete and Pete,playing more Paper Mario and eating Beef Hotdogs(with the works!) and Ice Cream bars.

Well I guess I give a quick low-down of what I've been doing, My old roomies and I finally moved out of are house and kind of went are sparted ways(man it was good times living with them, I'll miss them a lot and hope to see them again )

Right now art wise I've been drawing a bit more trying to put together a little action comic short using the Black Recluse (aka Brown Recluse) Since the weather been getting better now I try to draw at the Beehive or Starbucks in the Southside ,because I have to much cool stuff to draw at home.

I haven't done any 3D in a while I should get on that too,it's just so much to do.

I also pick back up my guitar playing again,thx to a little encourgement from one of my new friends Brian

I've taking 2 months off from Judo because the weather here has just been horrible, I going to pick it back up in March,but I'm to join a different school.I'm thinking about joining Southside Judo,because they teach Judo,Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for $90.

For $ I'm working at AIU3 as a temp,it's ok all I do all day is stare at cpu burn a few DVD's (legally) and then post them on the net.The funny part is it's kind of what I do at home anyway . For the most part hide in my Cubical all day,because the people around here are kind of old fashion at least Julie and Beth are here to talk to.

My Site is going to have 3D models (movies files) so you can see them in full detail and a couple of movies if I have the time to animate them.
