Things to do, before next year:
Be more active on dA

Stop neglecting my art.

Take more photoes, I used to love photography...I don't know what happened.

Work on sketching + visualising

Paint something!

Learn to "wheelwalk" on the unicycle (that is, Go forwards by pushing the wheel with your feet and not using the pedals)

Be able to juggle clubs

Get my firetwirling staff ready and light it!

Come out of my shell some more

Cut down on the drinks when I'm out. Drinks are too expensive for me, haha!

I had a growth near my tailbone that i had lanced once but it returned so the decided to do a more complicated procedure on it. So ive got a wound about 3 inches long and 2 inches deep now - no fun

I'm still fairly "out-of-it" cos my painkillers and stuff make me go all funny but all seems to be going good i get all my bandages and some stitches out in about 7 days...until then NO BATHS

The last few weeks have been really hard on me - constantly fighting with Zoe and all. We had a big argument just before my birthday a few days ago and she ended up cheating on me with one of my mates. Great birthday present hey? 2 years 4 months and she does that *sigh* Im trying to think positive though - Im going to be happier with someone that actually listens to me and doesn't just bite my head off as soon as i suggest something. It's for the better!

So yeah - trying to move on with things...it's a huge thing to lose someone that close to you, especially in that way and i know I'll be very hurt for a long time but I've learned from it and i had some great experiences with her. In the end though - she was a cheater so it aint worth my time dwelling on it.

Lately I've made it a life goal to learn as many uhh...haha cool? things so I've been practicing fire twirling with the universities juggle club im getting alright at it. Can't wait to do my first burn! Im also teaching myself some more advanced juggling techniques including Contact juggling (youtube it - it's fantastic)

Well thats where I'm at - i really want to get back into my art so keep an eye out for something new k?

Ive been unicycling for about 6 months now and only ever met 1 other rider. He's about 70 and we haven't riden together yet. So I'm always looking for locals that ride.

anywhoooo

On the way home from Zoe's the other day i came across some great unicyclists from New Zealand and North of sydney. After talking to them i found out they where here for "uninats" It was happening in my home city this year...i wasn't going to go because i needed $100 to register but i ended up going back to hostel these guys where staying at and registering as a spectator. This is when it got fun!

I was allowed to come on the social ride so about 50 other unicyclists and me all rode along the beach (i was so excited because ive never ridden with 1 person. let alone 50!) we got alot of strange looks haha! some guy even suggested we where a unicycle gang We headed up to the pub for dinner and some drinks and as it got dark we left and watched some fire twirling (IT WAS AWESOME). I met a guy there that invited me along to a club so im going to learn!

After a few more drinks at another pub with my new friends i went home and got to bed

Woke up the next morning and my dad said he would pay for 1 days registration! so i got up to the venue, met up with my friends i made the other night and got into some games of unicycle hockey which was quite a bit easier than i thought it would be but very tiring. we all learned some new tricks and i even got to ride around on a penny farling! Ive got pictures of that so I'll upload them later!

tl;dr Met up with unicyclists by chance, got into the group activities, Drank beer, made friends, got into fire twirling, learned new tricks and had the best time of my life!

edit: forgot to say - my grandads out of hospital and he is expected to make a full recovery!

I walked around the back to see my cousin and two ambulance nurses with my grandad looking really bad.

Apparently his eyes rolled into the back of his head and he went all stiff we don't know if it was a fit or a stroke. He had just had some skin cancer removed and that always makes him feel a bit ill but this time they got infected so there's that on top of it all

Why is spending time on the computer playing games still considered lowly? I'm always being told by my parents that i need to do better things while my dad just sits there hours on end watching TV.

when playing games you are actually involved in a story line, thinking and acting - alot of the time in multiplayer games your even talking to people around the world! I'm sure that's alot more productive than just sitting on a couch watching something happen. Sure, you may learn things from watching the news, but im sure i learn alot more with my net browsing...things im actually interested in.

Maybe i would understand more if thats ALL i did...but I taught myself guitar so i spend alot of time playing and every 2nd or 3rd day i ride my bike 4km to see my girlfriend. (ofcourse i do other things too, just two main examples)

so now my dad is trying to take my comp away saying that it was only for school and now that ive left i dont need it. All he does is spend all our money on Ebay and look at his crappy photography...does he really need my GAMING comp for that when he has a perfectly fine laptop?! NO >__<

Oh, and ontop of it aaaaallll i have Zoe always being angry at because im too quite apparently...shes getting angry at EVERYTHING i do ;__;

1. VNV nation

No other band. Ever, has been able to show so much emotion through each song, even their instrumentals are amazing for the same reason. Everytime i put on my VNV nation collection it takes me to another state of mind and makes me talk like this i know, i know, i sound stupid but just listen to the lyrics in these songs

My first concert was going to see these guys and i can safely say it was even more awesome than seeing Abbath from Immortal breathe fire over the audience. Jokingly calling themself "Nintendocore" they started a whole genre of wannabee bands HAHA!

5. Joe Satriani

My one and only guitar hero, half the reason i play guitar is because of this guy, he can show more emotion with just his guitar than most artist can with music plus lyrics. Seeing him play in person was sooo good :3 Zoe bought me a ticket...what a girl ^_^

These guys seem so "down to earth" and have a great sense of humour with great brooding sort of guitar riffs and cool lyrics. just a great band on whole!

I encourage you to watch the whole video even if you don't like the genre, these bands aren't just about making money - they are about the music and the emotion. To be honest, when i first heard VNV nation i didn't even care for any of it, now they are my most respected duo. I am even tossing up whether to get "victory not vengeance" tattooed because of them.

the hsc exams are coming up in 6 days...after that no more school at all. I really hate exams...i know im a smart chap but i just can't do them. i always get lower marks than i should >:

after these exams...hopefully im enrolling in the Enmore design college so i can become a media designer specializing in special effects. I also wanted to do special effects for makeup but found out it's expensive and have to do a 2 year course of normal "girly" makeup...heh...yeah right.

So...wish me luck (i'll need it )

Well moving on... ide like to let you all now me and zoe have just had our 1 year anniversary! it's certain now that we are in it for the long run. school is ending and we are both looking forward to marriage

the year wasn't all easy and im very happy that i persevered through all the bad times (not that they were that bad! ) im so happy to be with Zoe

in other news, i got to see one of my favourite bands last Wednesday! (HORSE-the band) it was the best concert EVER. we arrived extra early and i got photos with the band members! I TOUCHED LORD GOLD!!!

we had a good laugh that day...there was a asian supermarket and on the sign it said "good price" of course...we all now it was supposed to say "good rice" so we fixed it for them ...after amusing ourselves with that we were let in (3 hours later D the first two bands headlining kinda sucked though the singer for hospital the musical was fat and tried stage diving instead of surfing along the top of the croud everyone just collapsed!!! . the second band was ok but gosh! they played for sooo long and i just wanted to start moshing! grrr!

THEN FINALLY, HORSE- the band started...they made sweet sweet love to my ears i moshed and head banged until i had to go and sit outside of the concert. i was drenched in my and other peoples sweat my hair looked like i had a shower

and hell yeah, seeing immortal on Saturday at the same venue

if you dont know who immortal are go die

EDIT: i forgot to mention i had my first "gig" i played some acoustic guitar for Zoe's church. i played for the "crossroaders" the mentally disabled group...it was a good feeling helping them like that , they really enjoyed it

finding it kind of hard to believe...ive always wanted to go and well...now i am. Im staying there for 12 days and 2 of those days im staying with a japanese family and going to school with them, pretty funny that im looking forward to that more than disney land

ive just been out to get the family some gifts. i got them a tub of Vegemite, a boomerang, some native Australian plush toys and some badges from australia. stuff like that. i hope they like it

i got myself some clothes for when i go...my parents are being dicks though! i have an iron maiden shirt, a slayer shirt and a cannibal corpse shirt. they say that all my shirts aren't acceptable and i should give the school a good look...along with my blue hair. nope...they don't want that either! and my cannibal corpse hat...they want me to have plain clothes -_- and plain hair...coss yeah...all Australians are like that aren't they?

but... i have a new guitar! and its so sexy :3 so thats making me feel less angry...my parent's bought it for me

yeah. updating... i had an operation /procedure/whatever they call it now =[

i had a "pinodial sinus" i think. a growth near my tailbone/arse. been playing up for a while but i didn't realise how bad it actually was.

so...ended up going to the emergency section of the hosipital getting 8 needles in my butt and then getting it dug at...theres a big hole there now so a nurse has to come everyday and pack it in with guaze.

if it didn't rupture i would have had to go into theatre with the getting put to sleep and all instead i was lying awake getting cut into for and hour and a half -_-'

_{though all the blood was kinda cool...just that there was quite a bit...sounding like a generic goth wanna be...but hey "}

in other news...my hair is now dark blue and shiny pics coming soon and ive almost finnished composing a classical song on acoustic *pride* i'll link you all to it when im done

this guy runs the warhammer 40k eye of terror club with me. he has some really nice dark eldar and an impressive amount of fully coloured pictures ranging from warhammer 40k to fairly odd grandparents(i think thats what it is called...)

not only does this guy have great taste in music (opeth, amon amarth, ensiferum etc.) but his photos are great! the scenery in his shots always amazes me check him out now...or i'll stab you with my spork attached to a stick
