Today is my youngest son's Birthday!
He is one year old today!

I was hit last night with something that has pretty much left me without much energy. I am sneezing and coughing, my body hurts all over and I keep getting chills. Imagine my joy.
Throw taking care of four kids on top of that, and you pretty much have a zombified human being.
Not to mention, two of my kids are sick as well.

All I want for Christmas is for everybody to be well again.

I am still excited out of my mind and have to just tell everybody!
Today in the mail I got a TABLET!!!! Eeeeeeeee...Yes, I feel like a seven year old who just got a much wanted toy. Because that is what it is, a VEEEERY much wanted toy.

I have to thank for the gift!! And I can't thank you enough!!!! It is wonderful. Of course, now I have to learn how to use it properly (hehehe) but I love it!!!

Now, to make my kids' dreams come true. ^_^ I hope Robert and I can!

Again, thanks so much! I could never say it enough. I am not deserving of such a wonderful gift. You are so sweet. =3

One of my absolute fav Christmas movies is "It's a Wonderful Life". I never miss it each year and no matter how many times I see it, I cry.
Well that part after George Bailey gets the glimpse of what the world would be like without him and goes back home to realize how many friends he has and how many lives he has touched always gets to me.
Why am I bringing this up? Well, I feel about like George. I was going to give up on life. Yes, I actually was. I even had a plan to make it look like a accident. I am not kidding there.

Then, I offered a plea and my true friends have reached out. It is more than money, it is more than words of encouragement. Knowing that so many people care about me and my family and all the lives that I have had some sort of impact on, really humbles me.

I don't want to stop fighting now. Yes, the kids might only have a few things for Christmas, yes our car insurance will run out and the car may be repossessed, yes we are in debt over our heads and may take a LONG time to recover, but, I won't give up. I keep praying that things will get better next year. At least we are fighting...despite the odds.

I am thankful for my friends. I wish there was more that I could do than just say thanks.
But, I know the dark clouds will pass, I just need to hold out longer.

And, I really need to jump on answering my comments and replies and commenting on stuff too. I have a huge amount building. I hope to have some time this coming week.

After note: Saw the PAF Christmas Special tonight! I am so glad I waited cause it was so worth it! I LOVED it soooo much!

For my friends who truly care and want to know what is going on:
First of all, thank you so much for being there for me and offering words of encouragement.
What is happening right now is not some stupid little trivial thing. It is a major event in my life that has got me down.

I think it hit hardest last week when my husband and I figured out we can't even buy our kids Christmas presents this year. I sat down and cried for an hour, finally facing the fact that we are a lot worse off than I was trying to convince myself we were.
Thankfully, we have relatives that can pitch in somewhat so they won't go completely without. I don't care if I get nothing for Christmas, I just want my kids to be happy.

And it is not that we have been wasting our money either. It is just that we have been struggling, living the best we can paycheck to paycheck. I don't want it all, I would just love a month where we don't have to wonder if we are going to have to struggle to make ends meet.

Of course, my Mother would say it is because I married Robert, a free thinker and dreamer with aspirations and plans that may or may not happen. She has never approved of anything he has ever done.
And I would answer her that she can bite me. I married him because I love him, not based on proper breeding or education, like she would have liked.
Sorry Mom, I follow my heart.

It has just been building. I love my family so much, but I worried the only way I could ever get rid of the debt on my head would be to die. But, that is not fair to anyone I know and love and I couldn't bring myself to go down that road again.

Robert, bless his soul, is so optimistic and told me he feels things will get better next year. I only pray he is right. I don't want to lose hope...well, anymore than I have. I am slowly on the climb to feeling better, believing that the best is yet to come.

Again, thanks for putting up with my shit as I sort through the details of my life. I appreciate you guys more than you probably even know.

I had the greatest time today with my kids! They bring me such joy!
I took them to "Day Out with Thomas" with my sister's family, my Mom, my Grandma (Nannie), my Cousin and her family and my Aunt Wanda and Uncle Jerry. There were 17 of us that went. Hehehe Robert didn't get to go. He had to work. D: He wished he could have though.

Anyway, it was a blast! If you don't know what it is, it is an event that travels the country (they may do it in the UK too, but I don't know). It is Thomas the Tank Engine, from the show, movies and books, that is life sized and pulls coaches that you get to ride on. Living events like that through the eyes of my children is so special and unique. They were beyond thrilled to be there and to actually ride on the train pulled by Thomas.

The got some stuff too. Lisa got a shirt, Bart got a pennant, I got tons of pictures and we all got enough memories to carry us far into old age. ^^

After the time there, we went to lunch at a very kewl restaurant called Stonewall's Restaurant. I had a delicious Bison Burger. I don't know if I can go back to hamburger after having that wonderful thing.
The place was awesome too, you could draw on the walls. I left my mark. I drew Phineas and signed it. I wanted to draw Ferb too, but we didn't have time. 9 kids can get restless in one place for too long.

I feel like a little kid after today. It was nice to get out and just have a fun day to relax and enjoy my family with not a care in the world. ^_^

One more thought, I listened to "Rainy Day Parade" like three times today and I know I put the courus in my last journal, but the whole thing pertains to how I feel. So, here it is:

I used to have the world in my handbag.
But somehow I managed to blow it.
I missed the bus,
I lost my heart,
And an awful lot of mornings.

I used to have the stars in my pocket.
Now I just watch them on TV.
Friends, they all run away.
But they'll be back again.

I'm getting back on my medication

Time for a better journal entry.
Thanks so much to all my friends that helped in cheering me up. I can't be depressed today.

Today is my ANNIVERSARY!! Yay! Hard to believe that 8 years ago, in Hansen Park in Spring Valley, California, I walked down the aisle to marry the man of my dreams. I love you Robert!!!

And it just keeps getting better and better! Our love grows stronger with every passing day. I can't imagine my life without him. He is everything I ever hoped for, could dare to wish for and even more! He is my soulmate and makes me a stronger person.

He believes in me, is a shoulder to cry on, is my strength in hard times, is the one I go to to laugh with, gets my jokes and my quirks, keeps me going even when I feel I can't, shares my joys, shares my pains, never makes me feel left out or awkward. He is spontaneous, romantic, has the outlook of a child at times and the maturity of a seasoned adult. He is funny, caring, loving, and a wonderful father. He plays on my fantasies and always is full of surprises.

He is just the most wonderful man I have ever met in my life and I love him with every fibre of my being.

I can't wait to see what the next year has in store for us! I will forever be his October Bride.

My kids are hilarious!
I don't even know where to start with the story. There is this little girl at Bart and Lisa's school, named Summer, that has a HUGE crush on Bart. (They are 7 and Lisa is 4, keep in mind)
Well, she is friends with Bart and Lisa and rides home on the bus with Lisa. So, today she was telling Lisa how she is Bart's girlfriend and Lisa got upset! Like she is choosing her brother's dates and has to approve. She had a few things to say about her when she got home.

"She doesn't even wear glasses like Bart." "She says she is his girlfriend, but I think Bart needs to tell her no." (These are things she told me and Robert) Then she starts crying and yelling about the situation and Robert and I are trying not to crack up.
She literally looked like she was trying to defend his honor.

Summer is in another class this year, but she and Bart still meet up on the playground. He likes to play with her, but like all guys, doesn't quite understand the level of her affection. XD (Ah memories of me and Zion.... Hehehe)

She apparently lives in our neighboorhood and Robert says to me, "If we ever find out where she lives, we know who Bart is losing his virginity to." XDD
I mean, this girl LOVES him with a passion. Bart just likes her as a friend...for now. He will discover girls one day and Lisa will be there to smack Summer if she gets any ideas about her brother. LOL

I just had to share that because it was like the Drama of the 7 Year Olds here.
