So it's been a while. Mikey's getting a LOT bigger. Like, he's bigger than Isabel was when she turned a year. He's only 8 months old now and already trying to walk on his own.

Uh... Isabel is doing fine. She's speaking more clearly now. She's 2 and a half.

Uhm... Mike just got a new job. And... that's really about it. Not a whole lot. Been playing WoW and just joined a decent raiding guild, but they want me to switch to Survival or Marksman from Beast Master... and I'm a little perturbed about that... I love my Spirit Beast and I spent a week getting him... and now I can't even use him.

Anyway.

I better go. Kids are callin'.

I told him I'd wait out here in the living room until he came out to get me.

He hadn't come out for an hour... I went in to check, and he's asleep.

I seriously felt like I wanted to cry. Not only do I only get about four hours of sleep TOTAL on an average night while he sleeps for at least 6-7 hours of UNINTERRUPTED SLEEP (on account of the fact that I am the one with breasts and have to feed the baby), but now it looks like I won't be getting ANY sleep tonight as Mikey is not really making any effort to sleep right now...

Everything in my body want me to sleep... wants me to cry... but I feel like such a wimp if I do. I feel selfish... wanting to sleep. I hate sleeping during the day because I feel like Mike's mom is constantly telling him how "little" I do around the house and I don't want her to see me as lazy... or anyone else for that matter.

So tomorrow is going to suck major balls... and I have to go over to my parents tomorrow night.

I think I will go have a good cry.

Yes, sorry for not updating sooner. It's been busy what with the holidays and the two children to take care of. Anyway, here's the lowdown:

That's right, it's a boy! He's a wonderful baby, so quiet and such a good eater. He doesn't cry unless he's gassy, needs a change, or hungry... and even then it's more of an indignant cry than an outraged cry.

So yup. Things are going pretty well. I'd like to have my car back, though. Stupid government... it's been almost a year since I've been able to drive my car. I want FREEDOM!

Anyway... stuff.

I felt like ranting about something, but not anymore. I think I might go play WoW for a bit. I made a priest and I'm eager to try out healing for a group.

My due date is fucking history, and the baby hasn't dropped, and there's no other signs of labor yet... other than some strong Braxton-Hicks contractions I get in the evenings that turn into NOTHING.

I'm still only about 2cm dilated...

This sucks. I don't wanna be in the hospital on my birthday, but it's looking more and more like that's what is going to happen.

I just hope the kid doesn't decide it wants to take my birthday... I mean, yeah, nice birthday present, but I am a mom. I don't get to feel special that often and my birthday is one of only TWO days in the year I get to be special.

I know it sounds selfish, and I feel like a selfish bitch for saying it, but I want to keep my own birthday, dammit!

You better get out of there tomorrow, with the full moon or I'm going to start taking castor oil to move you outta there. *pokes belly*

I've just had a bad day I guess. I feel like I might be getting a sinus infection (stuffy/runny nose, sinus pressure, headache, sore throat), and I've kept the tissues nearby all day. Mike came home from work early so I could take some Benedryl and get a nap, both of which I desperately needed.

Woke up when Mom called to make sure we were still coming over. When I tell you I'm coming over mother, unless I tell you otherwise, I'M STILL COMING OVER.

I wake up to find out that there's something wrong with Mike's paycheck getting deposited... Long story short, his check won't be getting deposited until Monday when they go get the deposits out of the fucking ATM.

I've been so patient all week, eating cereal and pre-cooked chicken nuggets all week... knowing that we were going to be going to the store today, and possibly getting my WoW expansion... but no.

I KEEP TELLING HIM to do the paycheck at the window, so he can hand it to a real person. He doesn't LISTEN to me. So now, of course, we have to wait until Monday to get out of the negative and buy any last minute baby stuff.

I told him, he's to bring all of his paychecks home before he deposits them, so we can make sure together that they are going from our hands into the hands of the teller.

On top of all of that lovelyness, our health insurance company hasn't sent my insurance card yet. Mike's going up on Monday to get a card in person, but if I go into labor this weekend, I'm fucked.



Yeah, that icon pretty much sums up how I feel lately. I'm pissed because Mike can't handle money worth a damn, and the way things are going, we aren't going to be able to get our own place anytime soon. I'm already having to wait until after the first of the year (something I really didn't want to do! I'm really upset about that...) but if he can't even take care of his paychecks properly, we won't be able to get a place of our own until he gets his shit together.

Sometimes it feels like he's not even trying to work toward getting our own place.

So, I'm just unhappy... bored... lonely... anxious... uncomfortable... all of those happy fun things.

My mom sat there and started bitching about how Dad has found "another way" to "ruin" her birthday.

No shit. She sat there and told him that his illness that he has no control over is the reason she doesn't get to spend her birthday money on herself.

I mean... I know she's selfish, but I had no idea that she'd actually say something like that in front of my father who had just gotten done throwing up his guts about an hour earlier, and in front of Michael and I.

So Mike gave the money we WERE going to give her to replace her birthday money to my brother when we were away from my parents and he told my brother to give the money to my dad and he could do whatever he wanted with it.

He's taking her out to dinner anyway... I wouldn't have, but it's his money now.

I just hate how selfish my mother is. She has to make EVERYTHING about her, and when something is supposed to be a nice thing for her, she has to make it even bigger, if not she gets pissy. Like, my dad brought her home flowers for her birthday last year, and she still acted like it wasn't good enough that he remembered her birthday and made such a nice gesture... no, she wanted dinner and a "real present."

She just irritates me. She even tries to make MY birthday about her. "Well, it's the day I gave birth to you!"

I'm SO not looking forward to going over there tonight. I'm going to have to bite my tongue until it bleeds.

We're going to the Mall-o-Ween event at our local mall with friends of ours. We are thinking the mall will be safer and well lit, probably all around better idea than going door-to-door. Our friends have a small daughter about Isabel's age, and they play really well together (really more alongside each other, but whatever) and enjoy each others company.

In other news... last night we got near record lows, and yet my mood is "It's Hot." Apparently my mother-in-law is extremely sensitive to the cold, because she's actually got the heat on in the house, although it's not even below 60 degrees outside. I've been warm all day, and I can't seem to cool off, not even when I step outside.

I'm tired... uncomfortable, and I feel huge. I can't wait to just have this baby.

In yet OTHER news. Mike and I might be looking into moving into an apartment next weekend. I'm so excited to finally be looking into getting my own place. It's been nearly a year and it's about damned time.

I just hope nothing else goes wrong.

I REALLY fucking hate Sarah Palin. I feel like she's just about the dumbest piece of shit that McCain could've picked for his running mate. Well, no, I take that back, he could have done much worse... but my point stands that she's a dumbass. Most of the time in interviews she has no idea what she's talking about, and backtracks all of the time. I don't know if she's afraid of stating her actual political views for fear of being ostracized and being told that they're too extreme for the "Joe the Plumber," or what, but she needs to work out what it is that she believes, or the interviewers are just going to rip her apart.

Not to mention the fact that BOTH McCain and Palin are pissing me off in their speeches lately. They're both down to slinging mud in Obama's direction and practically preaching hate against the man. I mean, people are sitting there calling him a terrorist at their rallies and the candidates are doing NOTHING to correct these people. They're sitting there calling him a socialist (which in my opinion, as long as it's not coupled with hate of other races, is a fine system of government) and doing nothing to correct the incorrect view that he's either A.) an Arab, or B.) a Muslim.

I mean, are they really so desperate to win that they'll win by whatever means necessary, including dragging someone's good name through the mud?

Don't get me wrong, Obama and Biden have resorted to some mud slinging. It's nearly always coupled with what their plans are to be different though, whereas McCain and Palin just keep on with parroting that they're mavericks and they're for change. They aren't really stating as much what their plans are, just that they have them. Sure.

Hurr... I think I'm just going to send in my absentee ballot and keep my TV off of the news channels for a few days. I already know that Obama is going to win unless he screws up REALLY big, and I'm sick to death of seeing the childish behavior on both sides. I mean, we're adults, we don't need to call people names (even if the names have negative connotations attached due to the brainwashing of the public school systems) to win a freaking election. Stick to the issues, please, people.

But that would be just too freaking easy, right?

We also went and looked at some apartments as a backup plan. Our favorite is a gorgeous community, and pretty reasonably priced (the specific apartment we looked at was a 2br/1ba for $620 a month!).

Well, we're glad we went and did that because the lady called us back and informed us that our credit was just shy (we're talking 7 points shy) of being able to be qualified for the FHA loan.

We're disappointed, but I personally feel better about the situation because at least I know what we're looking at. We can just spend one more year in an apartment, building our credit and saving s'more money for a down payment. We won't be able to save AS much as we could living with the inlaws, but we've both decided that we're ready and able to take on the responsibility. We've been living here for almost a year now, the baby is due in December and we'd like to be able to bring it home to OUR place. I want to be able to take care of my child on my terms, not on my mother in law's.

Today I will be crunching numbers and making phone calls to find out what needs to be done before we can move out. We're hoping to move out by the end of the month at the very soonest. Mike and I are both disappointed that we'll have to wait another year to get a house, but at the same time I am feeling more determined than ever because I now know what is going on.

So that's the update in my life. I know ya'll probably don't care, but I felt like writing about it anyway.

He is not "brave" for admitting to something on the internet, where anonymity is achieved! Being brave would be admitting in real life that you have a problem and seeking help for it! He's expressed that he does not believe that he needs or wants help. He does not choose to protect those around him by being chemically castrated, or even seeking therapy! Instead he preaches that tolerance for his urges! It's INANE!

While the original post is disturbing, what is even more disturbing is the reaction of the community at large! If you read further in the thread, there are people patting him on the back for being "brave" in admitting his problem. Honestly, I agree with ~kombat-unit (although his comparison to intolerance of his Socialist beliefs is a little... off topic).

I can't eat a meal without spilling some of it on me, and most of it lands on that shelf of a belly... unless I happen to have my plate resting on it. I can't shave my legs without getting out of breath, not to mention the fact that if I sit on the floor I'm not getting up again until someone helps me up. Just fucking rolling over in bed takes considerable effort.

Because of the rolling over problem, every time I have to change position I wake up. If I don't, I wake up with very sore and stiff hips. I'm waking up every three hours to take a piss... at least the restless legs hasn't been bothering me much.

Mike and Ben got Rock Band a week or two ago, and now it seems whenever I want to go and take a nap, they decide they have to play and pound the shit out of the drums... right on the other side of my bedroom wall. So I don't even get to take a nap with the baby... she sleeps like a freaking rock... so the drums don't wake her up, luckily.

Not to mention the confined feeling I keep having. I feel so isolated and trapped just being here... whenever Mike has free time I beg him to take me somewhere and then he just ends up being uncomfortable and mad the whole time we're out. I don't enjoy my time out at all anymore.

I just want to stay in bed and not do anything until the baby's born.

So we're sitting there on the couch, I'm watching the news and she's got her face buried in my chest. My mother-in-law thinks she's sleeping and proceeds to come over and scoop her up. I'm a little perturbed because that's our time we spend together, but whatever. I get over it and watch some CNN.

About 10 minutes later, Izzy comes racing back into the living room. I notice her hair is laying differently than usual and I call her over to investigate. Suddenly I realize that her hair's been cut!

I wasn't asked or told that this was happening, my MIL just cut her hair without approaching me about it!

I just sat there for a minute in shock that it's happened, running my fingers through her hair and I almost start to cry. Ben proceeds to tell me what he thinks about my reaction (that I'm being crazy) and now I'm sitting here pretty upset. No one seems to understand how I'm feeling right now. I'm pregnant, tired, and now feeling quite violated.

I think my MIL overstepped the boundary between grandmother and parent and I feel quite usurped.

I just don't want to say anything because I really like my MIL, I think she just didn't understand how important it was for me to be there for her first hair cut.

I'm seriously about to cry right now, and if that's overreacting, then I guess I'm just crazy and hormonal... I still wish I could've been there.

I just want to be able to pass out and sleep like a normal person... is that so much to ask?

Did you see it yet?

Freaking awesome right?

What I liked about the movie:

1.)Batman does a LOT more hand to hand combat. It's what he's trained in and good at. You'd imagine he'd be doing that more often than using his little gadget belt. He was just awesome.

2.) Harvey Dent. I liked watching his decent into becoming Two-Face. He started out as the "White Knight of Gotham" and slowly took justice to an extreme that only Batman was meant to take it. I especially liked seeing his coin... and HIS FACE. Dude, that was awesome. Usually in the comics he's been splashed with acid or something, but this was just original and creepy as hell.

3.) Joker. Regardless of it being Heath Ledger's "dying role" or whatever (it's not even, he shot some scenes for another movie before he passed and died while making THAT movie... but anyhow) it was an amazing portrayal of the Joker. It's what I feel that the Joker always should have been: Crazy, creepy, and downright insane. Not some silly, campy guy who liked to blow shit up and annoy the piss out of Batman.

4.) I'm going to say this and I'm sure I'll get some sort of flack for it, but I have to. Heath Ledger did do an AMAZING job in the movie. Not to downplay anything else the other actors did (I LOVE Gary Oldman and Christian Bale is really easy on the eyes) but I really enjoyed his acting ability. I'm only sad that it seems we only got to see this ability at the end of his life. He was a much better actor than he seemed to let on in his other roles. It's disappointing that we won't get to see anything else of his apparent amazing acting ability.



So, that out of the way... there really wasn't anything that I DIDN'T like about the movie. The only thing I don't like is the HYPE around the movie. Suddenly there's all kinds of fangirls squealing over the Joker, and people quoting "Why so serious?" all over the freaking place.

Just go into the complaints forum right now and there are at least 5 people with avatars with the Joker on them. Type in "Why so serious" in the search bar on here and you'll see all kinds of crappy myspace-like pictures people have taken of themselves in Joker makeup. Everyone seems to be obsessed with the fact that the role is what drove Heath Ledger to kill himself. I expect it's about the same kind of hype that was around The Crow after Brendon Lee died making it. I was too young to remember, but I assume it's rather similar.

I think it's a dumb reason to see a movie because it was someone's "dying role." No, go see this movie because it's freaking amazing, not because some guy killed himself because he couldn't get out of the role in his mind.

Anyway... yeah, I had to bitch a little bit... I was sitting in the complaints forum and I saw two people reply to each other in a thread that BOTH had animated Joker icons... it's more than a little annoying. *twitch*

I'm bored on top of it. I was going to spend a nice evening in the living room on the computer so I could watch my daughter, but instead my brother-in-law decides to be an impatient little piss and kicks me off of MY laptop so he can play World of Warcraft. Like he can't go one evening without it.

Mike didn't deposit his check before he left for his stupid D&D game (which he was supposed to be home from half an hour ago) so I can't get my WoW back up, my Sims2 disc fell behind the desk, and I can't find my Neverwinter Nights CD to play that. I don't even have goddamned solitaire on this computer.

So I decided to lurk on the Complaints forum... only someone is talking about McDonalds and now I'm REALLY hungry for a couple of double cheeseburgers and a sweet tea... I'd go in the kitchen and wrassle me up some rice and soy sauce with a glass of milk, but I just FUCKING KNOW if I go out in the living room my brother-in-law is going to ask me every fucking question he can think of about WoW as if I'm some kind of guru for the fucking game.

I've told him to look it up on WoWwiki, Thottbot, WoWHead; any number of sites he could look up his goddamn question, but no, instead I get a barrage of:

"How does this fight work?"
"What are these Pauldrons of the Fallen Champion?"
"How do I equip them?"
"Where do I go for this quest?"

And so on.

So here I sit, in my room. Hungry, hormonal, and bitchy.

I didn't go to preschool. I'm kind of upset that I didn't get that chance because I honestly feel that I missed out on learning to socialize. Don't get me wrong, I'm not shy by any means. I've always been gregarious and fast to make friends... I just don't seem to keep them or they turn out to be crappy people (most of the time, I have found a few exceptions).

The ladies on the board who haven't gone to preschool describe being less socially adept than they would like to be and the ladies that did (the majority) seem to think that this is equivalent to being shy. It's not. I'm very outgoing, but my social skills are somewhat... lacking. I didn't learn at an early age to listen to people, I have a really bad tendency to try and relate some situation that I've found myself in to what the other person is talking about. It's only been RECENTLY that I learned that this is not how conversations are run.

My husband has done me the favor of pointing out my flaws with my conversational skills... and don't get me wrong, I appreciate what he did, but now I find myself extremely self-conscious of what I'm saying, how well I'm listening, et cetera. It's nerve wracking, even with friends I've known for years.

Here's another example of poor social skills that I believe are caused by lack of social exposure during early childhood:

My brother. Like me, he's very outgoing, but he's outgoing in all of the wrong ways with wrong people. He doesn't even realize until it's too late how destructive his friends are. One of his "friends" even got his friends to help jump him because he thought it would be funny... and continued to hang out with this "friend"! He's so lonely he's friends with self-destructive people too... I worry about him because it seems that he's focusing his life on these friends and their bad habits and it's interfering with his hopes of a decent future. I worry so much about him every day.

I don't know... maybe I feel like I missed out on something. It might also just be because our mother didn't get involved in our school (in a very involved school) and the other parents disliked her because she was an "outsider", so by proxy, my brother and I were disliked by the children of the involved parents. We were very limited in our choice of friends because of that.

I don't know... we learned our social skills from our mother, and I've noticed more and more that she just TALKS. She doesn't care if anyone listens to her, she just talks about herself. She talks about her problems (her cancer, her heart problems, etc). I don't know if maybe on an unconscious level she's doing it to get pity... she thinks she's being inspirational, but she really just annoys the shit out of people to hear about their horrible problems.

I don't know... I guess I have some resentment toward my mother that I can't vocalize to her. My brother had a few beers yesterday and told her everything he thought about her. She then called me and asked me "he's not right, right?" to which I replied "uhm....." and changed the subject. Yanno... she's away to visit her sick mother, but she still can't help but make everything about her! How SHE does this and that, and how SHE wheeled herself from the cafeteria to my grandmother's room... and how SHE'S suffering because my brother's mean or my Uncle's a jackass or whatever.

UGH... I get so sick of it.

In other news, I think I'm the only person that goes on YouTube, puts on the Wiggles for my kid and actually finds them endearing. I think it's really sweet that they made this show not just for their own children or their children's friends, but for all children. All people can do is sit there and say how ridiculous they look doing such-and-such dance or whatever. If you don't like it, no one is holding a gun to your head and making you watch it... don't leave crappy comments... it takes away from other people's experience.

GAWD. I wish people would grow up.

Speaking of which... school let out for the summer today... joy of joys... the mall will now be crawling with kids and I'm not sure how I'll be able to take Izzy to enjoy the playground at the mall without worrying about one of the 5 year-olds trampling her... *sigh*

So we've had to move back in with my in-laws. Hopefully it's a temporary situation, but I've found a lot of good has come from it. They don't drink soda here except for Sprite and until I started living here again I didn't realize how addicted to caffeine I'd gotten. A few days into living here and I found myself really lethargic and having horrible headaches. I'm starting to feel better... no more headaches anyway. I'm still tired, but getting better. Trying to get myself off of caffeine entirely. I'm also trying to eat healthier, take my vitamins, and HEY, I even signed up for a class at my local gym!

I'm starting to feel better about myself which I think is great. I really think the key to me finding new friends is being comfortable with myself first and being happy with myself.

I've felt more energized, sexier, and I've even started drawing again! I didn't realize how long it'd been since I drew last and so my art has kinda fallen behind in quality... but I'm working on it and drawing every day, just like I did when I was in school.

I'm spending a TON of time with Izzy too! We went to the park and the mall today and she LOVED it! She's walking now, so she's able to toddle all over the place. It's so wonderful! I'll be posting pictures on my myspace of us at the beach and of her first birthday party.

Oh yes! Izzy turned one on February 4th! She's getting so big... hard to believe that a year ago she was so tiny and helpless... now she's walking around and even talking a bit! She only says things like "mum mum" and "da da" but that's ok, she communicates plenty with her hands, she's pointing and making noises and I know what she wants.

Oh it's so great. I love being a mom and I'm really starting to feel good about myself, my life, and my family. I really think that moving back in with the in laws was the best thing we've done.

We'll be saving every red cent we don't need for bills and moving back out hopefully by April, but I'm not holding my breath... Mike really likes to drag his feet about really big things... but I'm gunna try and motivate him.

Anyway... yeah. Lonely as crap lately... Katie's on vacation and apparently talking about moving up to Jersey... not commenting about that. I haven't heard much from Tyra lately... Meredith has been doing a whole bunch of things I don't approve of and don't want around my baby... I've seriously been so fucking lonely. My only adult company lately is Michael, and sometimes Dan. Nicole stopped by randomly. She's on her way to train in the desert out west then it's off to Iraq for a little while, then she's out of the AF forever.

Enough about that... been playing WoW a lot... just got a laptop and am currently installing it on here... no moneys to pay for the subscription this month, but maybe in a few weeks I can afford it.

My oldest friend in the world is gone. My Chelsea-kitty. She's been sick for a while now. It started with what we thought was an infection from a flea bite on her ear. The doctor told us it was a tumor, but we didn't think it was anything serious since it was on the outside of her ear. Then others started showing up on her skin. Her fur started falling out and about three weeks ago she lost her appetite and didn't eat much. Last week she stopped eating at all. I begged my mom to take her to the vet for months because she didn't look well. They never took her to the vet... and they didn't get her euthanized even though it was obvious that she was suffering.

I feel awful that there wasn't more I could do. After I moved out, it seemed like she just started getting worse and worse.

Mom called me tonight and told me that she'd taken a turn for the worse. She was breathing irregularly, her paw pads and gums were white, and she was seizing. They couldn't take her to the vet today because it would've been well over $100 dollars to get her euthanized this weekend, and if she could hold out until Monday it would not be as expensive.

I supposed by what Mom told me that she wouldn't last through the night.

I hate being right.

Mom called at about 8:30 this evening to tell me that she'd passed. At least she's not suffering any longer.

She had her two week checkup the other day. She's gained over a pound since we left the hospital and measures an inch longer!

Mike's 20th birthday was yesterday. We had a nice dinner with his mom and he got two cakes! Katie and Tom bought him an ice cream cake from Publix and his mom bought him a regular cake from Sam's Club. We started work on the one from his mom, but want to wait until Katie and Tom can be here to start on their cake.

Been playing lots of WoW. Mike and I both have been playing it this time. Usually Mike doesn't want to play, but lately, he's been playing. He made a nelf druid and a gnome warlock. I think he's going to make the 'lock his main. It's lvl 14 and named 'Listerfiend.' He's such a weirdo. In other WoW news, I've finally gotten a character past lvl 29! Actually, she's nearly lvl 40! Night Elf Hunter named Odayaka. I really like having a meat shield--I mean pet.

Anywho... I'm officially 39 weeks pregnant today... hopefully the baby won't hold out much longer... not only am I anxious to meet her, I'm tired of feeling so damn uncomfortable. I can't sleep more than 2 hours at a time and when I do sleep, it's not restful because I'm so uncomfortable.

Ugh... well, it's back to bed for me. I just wanted to answer the question that everyone's been asking me: "Is she here yet?"

No, not yet... I've just been playing a lot of WoW. :3

Haven't drawn much for a while... I've doodled a couple of dragons after reading the Obsidian Chronicles by Lawrence Watt-Evans. Good book, highly recommend it if you like dragons and stabbity death.

Anywho... yeah. Not in a real good mood today. I was going to go up to the hospital with Mike and my mother to tour the birthing center... since I'm nearly to term and she could come anytime now... I kinda need to know where the hell I'm going. Well, Mike just called and told me that work is making him work late tonight, and then he's got school at 6 until 9. He's been at work since 7 this morning. He doesn't even get paid for the 3 hours he's at school. Poor guy. I did what I could for him this morning, I made him a nice breakfast to help him get started... but we're both pretty bummed. I hate it when he works so much, I get so lonely.

I'm contemplating World of Warcraft. I've been wanting to play again... but I'd hate to pay for a month and then have the baby come in two weeks and I'd never get to play again.

Le sigh. I'm so screwed tonight.

Thanks to everyone who sent me birthday wishes (Although, noticeably, no one--except Tyra and Em-chan--on here remembered... )! It makes me happy to know I'm still loved even if we don't talk much anymore. Birthday was fun. Had lunch with Mike, Mommy, and my brother... ended up being free because the waitress sucked bawls. Then we came home and hung out for a little while around the apartment until that evening and Mike and I went to dinner at GenNai's with Katie, Tom, Tyra, and Adam. Tasty. Then we came back to the apt. and Tyra and Adam took a look around and had to go on account of lack of sleep. Katie and Tom stayed... then Mom came over unannounced and started boo-hooing about how she'd gotten in a fight with Dad and whatnot... I was angry 'cause she came over here looking for pity on MY BIRTHDAY. Yeah... not happy. All in all though, it was a good day. I didn't get to drink, but I still had a nice time.

In other news, WE GOT A WII. HOMG, it is the greatest EVAR. Much and very with the fun. I'm playing Zelda like an addict and loving playing Wii sports with Mike and it's even more fun playing with Katie and Tom. I love being able to have four players... and actually have everyone enjoying what they're doing.

Well... that's pretty much it for updates... going to Mom's house on Christmas eve for dinner... that should be fun and tasty. Thinking about making a yam casserole because that was REALLY GOOD when we had it at Mike's family's place. Definately making some cookies though... Mike's gotta deposit his paycheck tonight and then we'll go get some baking stuff... I hope.

We went and put in an application on Saturday and we're putting the deposit in tomorrow (if his mother doesn't, or can't by then). Then on the 10th we'll be signing the lease and moving in! It's a 2br/1ba apartment, about 900 sq. feet for $645 a month! Including water AND basic cable! Woohoo! I'm so excited and everyone we've talked to about it says it sounds like a good deal, so that's what we're going to do!

Three days after that is my actual birthday, but I'm thinking about having a party the weekend after (granted we're settled enough to have company over). If we're not, we'll have it the weekend after that. We'll definately be having the shower there, though.

Anyway, if you would like to attend my birthday, let me know. I'm letting you know ahead of time though, THERE WILL BE NO ALCOHOL. It's my birthday, and if I can't drink, no one will. Sorry, if that sounds mean, but I don't want to be the only tea-totaler at my own party, yanno? But I do have a good idea for what we can do:

I was thinking about having a "mock-tail" party. Everyone attending will bring a recipe for a "mock-tail" (a virgin mixed drink) and we'll all try what different people bring. I thought it sounded like a good idea.

Going out of town Thursday morning and traveling about 5 or 6 hours to Mike's aunt's house for Thanksgiving. His grandma will be there, and he hasn't seen his family in over a year... they're all excited about us having a baby, so they wanted to do a big thing this year. I hope I'm not too sick, otherwise I'll be staying here.

But I DO have a ray of light! I called Windover Health Club (apartments Mike and I have been looking at for a few months now) to find out if they have any openings coming up next month and THEY DO! If we come in on Sat. and fill out an application, they'll wave the $45 per person application fee, AND lower the rent amount from what would be $710 a month to $654.... that INCLUDES water and basic cable in the rent! What could be better? That it's available DECEMBER 10TH! Three days before my birthday! I couldn't ASK for a better birthday gift!

I'm so happy I could cry... but I won't because then I'd be stuffy and won't be able to breathe again.

Ahhh.... vaporizer is my friend........

Huttah! If we end up signing the lease and moving in, you could be hearing more about shower plans in January! We'll be having it in OUR OWN APARTMENT! Whee!

Uhm..... I got a Betta fish. I call him Monty. He's beautiful. Dark crimson red, a little bit of greenish-black on the end of his tail and blue-silver scales all along his sides. When he flares up at his reflection (or at my hand, or just when I'm moving around! ) he's absolutely stunning. I love to look at him with my little nightstand light on over him at night. It really makes his blue-silver scales pop. I noticed the other day that he also has some blue-silver veins in his tail.

I wubbles my Monty. He's aggressive too, which is funny. Whenever I reach for a glass I've set on the nightstand or move around too much near the nightstand, he flares up and tries to attack the glass. When I put the mirror up for him, he'll do a dominance display by attacking the ground right in front of him... he even flares up at his food pellets I put in the top of the little tank I have for him. He's so funny.

I may post pictures if I ever remember to get batteries for my camera... I probably won't though. *sigh*

Anywho, making tentative plans for the baby shower in January. Looks like it may be Jan. 13th, the second Saturday in January. I'll be at 36 weeks, one week before I'm considered "to term" with the baby... so I'll still have time to wash everything before she comes. I'm getting more and more excited. I'm at 27 weeks right now and I can feel it when she rolls over and can feel (if I press down lightly) which way she's laying, where her legs are, ect. She's in the head-down or presentation position, which is good... I'm hoping she stays there and doesn't decide to go into breech position.

Uhhhhhhhhhh... yeah. That's about it for updates lately... playing a lot of Pokemon again, lol. I found my old GBC and have been playing Pokemon Crystal for the last week or so. Mike's gunna get Final Fantasy III today after he gets off work, and he's gunna buy me Pokemon Fire Red... so I have more to do... since I've almost beat this one.

Woohoo.

Now everyone and their mother deems it fit to complain about yaoi and shounen-ai.

OKAY, first of all, YAOI AND SHOUNEN-AI ARE NOT THE SAME FUCKING THING. I like SHOUNEN-AI but the hard core "buttsaix" scares the poop out of me. Not something I wanna see.

Shounen-ai: Anime, manga, or fanfic that depicts non-explicit relationships between two males. Usually focuses on the romantic loving emotional side of the relationship, unlike yaoi which focuses on the passionate lustful physical side. Usually no more than PG-13 rated.

Yaoi: Anime, manga, or fanfic that depicts explicit relationships between two males. Usually focuses on the passionate lustful physical side of the relationship, unlike shounen-ai which focuses on the romantic loving emotional side. Usually R rated or higher.

Second of all: just like with the anime fandom (and well... ANY fandom) there are 'tards... and there are fans. NOT EVERYONE IS A FANTARD. If your friends won't leave you the fuck alone about it, TELL THEM TO KNOCK IT OFF. Don't just sit there and look at it anyway and saying "Grooooo~ss... stoooooo~p it guys! " because then they won't think you're serious! God, when will people get it through their heads that most teenagers are stupid and unless you knock them upside the head with a cinderblock of seriousness, they won't take you seriously. Jesus.

Not only did I not get to go on any of your rides--which was expected and I was totally prepared for--but you totally made my husband and I waste $60 +the cost of gas and parking to go to your stupid Halloween Horror Nights. I shall elaborate:

After getting an 'okay' from my doctor to go to "haunted houses" while pregnant and not seeing ANY warnings on you website after searching extensively, you proceeded to post warnings at the entrances to your rides AND ALL of your Haunted Houses. I really wish I'd seen a warning somewhere before my husband and I wasted our money on a whole three hours of entertainment. We got to see all of Bill and Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure (which was LAME OUT THE ASS), the Sweet Sixteen Director's Cut (which was equally lame), and the "scare zones." We didn't even get to be surprised by any of the people in the scare zones because they were too busy scaring other people.

So, to Universal Stupidos and Halloween Horror Nights, I extend a great big FUCK YOU. I'm so depressed now that I made Michael pay out the ass for me to go to your damn attraction and I get jack-shit.

So fuck you guys. I'm never going to one of your lame-ass theme parks ever again. Disney could've scared me more than you fuckers did.

I suppose I should be happy they're laying off anime as an art form... for now.

I dunno... I agree, it is a little annoying to see art up there that doesn't deserve it... but people should know by now that it's a GLITCH that dA is aware of and working on. I mean, c'mon people, it's been repeated over and over and over again.

My complaint is that it's been quite some time since the new dA layout has come up and it's STILL got glitches. I mean... seriously. It doesn't look very professional if the new version has been out since August and they STILL don't have everything worked out.

I've been seeing all kinds of Little Mermaid and other mermaid crap on the popular deviants page for weeks now... now I like mermaids, I think they're cool.... but what's with the explosion all of a sudden?

My brother is FINALLY coming home from Marine Bootcamp since my mom isn't doing so well lately... poor kid, his three months of training turned into four months of hell in a handbasket.

Found some old friends from up north on Myspace, namely Mr. Paul Gilbert, Mr. Aaron Cole, and my oldest childhood friend, Mr. Chase Owens.

In case you couldn't tell, I ended up being friends with the boys a lot.

Alright, I havn't been too happy with dA of late anyway... the fact that they're so strictly enforcing their new policy of so called "underage" works, and now this.

I made an icon a few months back. It was from a picture of Lucius Malfoy copyrighted by Warner Bros. I cropped it and added the words 'O RLY?' and stated that I did NOT take the picture, that it was copyrighted by J.K. Rowling and Warner Bros. I see people on dA creating icons from images that are not of their own creation ALL of the time. I can give quite a few examples just from the first page of icons.

This is so ridiculous. I sent them a message asking why my image had been removed, they basically told me the same damn thing they told me in the inital note: that it was not my own image and blahblahblah.

As a paying customer of dA I think I deserve a little bit better of an explaination as to why they don't do this with other works with the same problem.

Well, I'm officially leaving dA. I will stick around in the forums until my subscription runs out in Dec., but I am taking all of my images down and re-posting them either at y!Gallery, or if they are not appropriate (as some of my works include females as the main subject of the image) then I will post them on SheezyArt. It's just the last straw. If I complained about it on their complaints forum, they would just tell me to leave if I don't like the policy. I don't like the policy, so I AM leaving.

I will still be updating my journal here, but much more infrequently. If you're looking for updates check my greatestjournal.

Man... lots of stuff happened yesterday...

Went to the dr. early yesterday morning. Just a checkup. They scheduled me for my second ultrasound, they're going to check the baby's development and whatnot... if they baby's in the right postion, we might be able to tell the sex of the baby... Mike doesn't want to know, but I'm hoping the baby will let us know anyway. >3

Uhh... got some McDonald's breakfast after that... SO tasty... I love their bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits...

Played WoW until about 3, then Mom called wanting to know if we'd pick up her medicine in a few hours. We said sure, and headed over there at about 5. Stuck around and talked for a bit then found out they filled the wrong medicine. So we went to the store for Mom instead and on our way back, we saw this really cute black and white pit/lab mix puppy (couldn't have been more than 6 months old, decently big, but obviously not as big as he will be) romping the streets without an owner. He was splashing in the puddles from the recent heavy rain and following bikers... he was obviously lost, but still enjoying himself. He almost ran out in front of Michael's car and we realized quickly that he was too young to be afraid of cars. So we pulled into my parent's driveway and he came bounding up to my side of the car.

I quickly assesed the situation, saw the dog had a collar and obviously belonged to someone, so I got out of the car and started petting him. He was really friendly and sweet, didn't bite, but liked to jump on you. We took the groceries in and came back out to find the poor thing sitting there waiting on us. We took it upon ourselves to take care of him until we found his owner, we hoped he wasn't far off.

We can't take care of a dog, my parents have cats and his family doesn't like animals. We played with him for a while, took him for a walk around the block, hoping his owners would drive or walk by. We tried calling Animal Control, but they were closed and wouldn't send someone out... We tried calling the police, but they wouldn't come out for a stray dog.

Mom wanted us to just let it go, but we couldn't just do that. Since he wasn't afraid of cars, and being black, and quickly getting dark, it was likely he'd get hit by a car. People do not go the 30 mph on my road, they go down at about 40 or 50 sometimes, all it would take was for one person going fast enough and not paying attention to the road...

So we called the Animal Control again and they told us we could take it to the shelter. Well, they gave us the completely wrong address, but an officer nearby let us know we could just take the dog to the animal shelter in Eau Gallie and they had a kennel and fresh water for the animals, and they'd pick him up in the morning.

We took him out there, it was about a quarter after nine... we felt awful just leaving him there... well, I felt awful just leaving him... he trusted us and I felt like we'd betrayed him. Michael reassured me that it was the best thing we could do for him. He also said if I wanted, I could call the shelter this morning to check on him. They don't open for another 20 minutes, but I'm going to call this morning to make sure they found him and that he's okay.

I hope he gets back to his owners... I'm sure someone is missing him...

Poor puppy.



On another note, I found out my mom hates pit-bulls.

The only thing being removed right now is art that depicts characters under the age of 18 preforming sexual acts or in sexually suggestive poses. Now, while only one of my pictures was like that, I figured "better safe than sorry" and removed all of my art of Denka (who is 16) where it might be suggested that he is in a sexual relationship with somone over the age of 18. He is, and in the state of Florida, it is legal for a sexual relationship to go on, as long as the couple are within 16 and 23 years of age: [link]

I apologise if I've put anyone in an uproar about this... I really didn't mean for everyone to get so upset. I was only reporting what I had heard. I am now more informed and now you can be too.

Not just BL/GL are being taken down, I only mentioned it because it happens to be more prevalent for shotacon or lolicon than het couples underage.

What's this I hear? Apparently, dA is banning people for drawings of "underage" characters in BL or GL situations. Harry Potter, Kingdom Hearts, Digimon, ect. included. This also includes "underage" characters in sexual themes... which means my "Slytherins are Sexier" picture will probably have to go down...

*sigh* My RyuDenka pictures will probably go down too, since Denka's underage in some of my pictures... Ryu is too I guess.

Welp, looks like a lot of my works are being moved to Y!Gallery since it seems most of my work is classified as Shota-con. Y!Gallery permits it as long as the picture isn't taken from an actual picture of a minor.... and that's just sick.

Denka's 16 anyway... I believe that's of consentual age...

Welp... yeah. The pictures and photos that are not shota in any way will be left up and I will still frequent the site... it will probably just be that most of my work I will take down (before I get banned) and put on Y!Gallery.

So yeah... anyone who reads this posting Shota-con or Loli-con should watch their galleries... I don't wanna see any of my friends getting banned.

[Edit:] Baby update: Went to my first prenatal appt today! Very much excitement. I'm healthy as a horse and as long as I keep taking my vitamins and exercising I should have a healthy baby!

They used the Dopplar on me and I got to hear my baby's heartbeat! It was quick but soothing. I felt really glad to finally know there was something in there.

Got another appt. next week for my first ultrasound. They're going to let me bring in a VHS tape and record it! Everyone (who lives around me, sorry guys ) gets to see the baby!!! Excitement!

Michael and I are having trouble picking a pastor to do the ceremony. We need help deciding quickly, as one of them needs know whether or not to book a flight.

Alright, the original idea was to have my mother's friend, David do the ceremony. She's known him a really long time and I've known him my whole life. I don't know that much about him as I've only seen him a handful of times, but I'm getting a lot of pressure from my mother to pick him. David has told me that he won't mind if we don't choose to use Michael's pastor, as long as we're happy.

At the same time, we're getting a lot of pressure from Michael's mother to use Pastor Yoon. I don't know him that well and Michael doesn't particularly enjoy his views on some things, but he would be much more convienent.

Plus if we decide to use Pastor Yoon to do the ceremony, Michael's cousin Sean and his grandmother would be able to come in on the 28th, instead of doing everything on the 14th.

The only problem with doing it on the 28th, is that my parents anniversary is that next week... and that's kinda upsetting to me.

I just don't know what to do... so confusing.

Any advice, people?

ZOMGWTFBBQ was up with that ending?!

They were making all with the cute and the kinda interesting storyline, when "OH NO! Everything you knew was cute and happy is actually a LIE!!!!"

Yes... my brain wept for the cuteness... but horrible ending.

They really could've made it a few episodes longer and actually explained what the hell was up with the ending and if *spoilerspoiler* was actually dead or not, or whatever... and what Seimei had to do with the sensei at the Seven Moons...

ANYWAY... be prepared to see some non-cannon pairings for Loveless... because I thought RitsukaxYayoi would be adorable... or KioxYayoi.

Yup... that's about it.
