Then I realize and it's all done out of pure selfishness, and by taking a stance that lets one view the big picture, anyone can see that it's absolutely hilarious.

Here's an example particular to me:

Some guy goes to a fast food restaurant and receives his fries a little on the cool side because there were seven people in front of him and his food has been bagged for a minute more than usual. He rages at the cashier.

Stop and think. Does that man consider that the cashier he just spat in the face of just had a miscarriage, or perhaps just lost her boyfriend, or mother, had her car stolen? Do you think he cares if the person who bagged his fries just got called a nigger by someone in drivethrough and is upset by it? Maybe the entire staff just got a paycut, or lost a staff member they cared about.

No.

That guy only cares that his personal dining experience wasn't perfectly satisfactory. He cared so much and so violently, that he had to impact someone else's life in a negative way.

When they said way back that the sun revolved around the earth, they were already well on their way to this state of existence. Who is our Galileo now?

I'll be posting fanart more than original art. I'm still concerned about my intellectual property versus DA's TOS, but we'll see what happens.

I will be posting my writing, and Royale will remain here for anyone who followed that, although I'm not sure if I will be continuing it (probably not, sorry). I'm rewriting the twins story, for real, in canon. That should be interesting . . .

This is what anyone interested in using my art for ANY PURPOSE has to know. As of November, 15, 2006 these are the rules.

1. All of my work will be licensed under Attribution - Noncommercial - No Derivatives (unless its fanart)

2. This means that the ONLY way you can use my art is to keep it absolutely intact, with my signature and other watermarks, put my name in whatever description accompanies the use, AND PROVIDE A LINK BACK TO ME.

3. USERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO COPY, TRACE, OR ALTER MY IMAGES IN ANY WAY. No derivative work means no copying poses or designs, or any piece of the art. This means no making a painting of Iro for your high school art class, for instance. No cropping, censoring, or color altering. Nothing. YOU CANNOT SELL IT, OR EXCHANGE IT ONLINE, as this falls within commercial use. Linking to it is alright, but transferring it via any p2p program, whether its aim/MSN , limewire, kazaa, whatever, IS NOT.

4. I am also including one other stipulation, which I am allowed to do, to bind any users of my art further. This is the last condition. YOU MUST OBEY THIS, or I can sue.

My style has changed. Numerous. Times.

I might just come back here. But I am concerned. I've been hanging out on Y!Gallery for a long time now, and enjoying it immensely XD Surrounded by yummy boys and delicious, talented artists, and a minimum of irritating underage idjits . . . it's great.

I do miss DA, in a way. I miss the friends I used to have on here. But I want to make sure that my art is safe here. I've heard of some curious and disturbing instances where people's art has been stolen, and the administration did little or nothing to help.

If anyone knows anything about this, or can assure me that the site is safe and secure for original art (IE: I won't have to worry about getting stolen by greedy corporations or individuals, or at least will get support against them) Then I may return and post here again.

The difference may be startling, though . . . just warning.

Holy crap, I deserve to be slapped, I guess. I just lost faith in DA there for a while . . . mass lulls in activity in my inbox led me to believe that I was but a tiny, pointless speck in this great, wild yonder that is the web . . . therefore, I moved to the smaller, more tight knit community of Ygallery for a while, only to find that they have some of the same problems.

Maybe I'm wrong. Or maybe I'm the only one that sees things that way. Maybe I have other problems. I don't know any art communities. I don't know who to talk to. It's probably the same reason why I wasn't popular in high school. I don't really know the politics. o__o

I'm most concerned about my webcomic, now . .. I'm not begging here, I'm just relaying my feelings on the matter. I put a lot of work into that. I spend hours of every day planning storylines, typing up answers to questions in the forum. I even colored a page the other day. I cherish and cling to every rare visitor who happens bye and says hello.

But I do dream of making that my career one day. I would like to begin steps to making GL more well-known . . . but the thing is, I don't have anyone to tell me how to do it. I have no mentor to beg a wise word from.

This has been a problem for me from the beginning. Everything I've done, I've discovered on my own. I'm just beginning to get a little bit impatient with myself, that's all. I'm impatient that I'm doing all I know how, and it's still not enough to realize my dreams.

Very very frustrating.

Starting off, I have my learner's driver license now, or sort of. Mom had to open her big mouth and tell the DMV guy I had diabetes, therefore we have to go through this whole ordeal with my BITCH of a family doctor. She dropped me as a patient, calling me "uncooperative" just because I once didn't make an appointment with her. She's a self centered cow anyway who does nothing to help me when I need help. Fuck her I'm getting a new doctor so I can get my license finalized.

Two, I'm overloaded with school work, and OUC is striking every six days so I don't know dick all what's happening from one day to the next. There's NO way for me to see if they're striking or not, except by checking the website on the MORNING that I have to go, to see if I got up for nothing or not. o__o; I have two big projects and two essays due shortly. It makes me unhappy. I hate essays.

Three . . . .I THINK Chris is . . .better? I can't tell. Alex hasn't logged on in at least three days and if she has, I haven't caught her online. But....his MSN name changed and from the looks of it, I can only assume that he is REALLY pissed off at either his ex-girlfriend who tried to take advantage of his partial memory loss to use him again, or another female...... I just hope he's ok, and not in too much pain. I'm not sure if he's home yet either, because Alex wasn't certain when he would be returning to Kelowna. . . .I just want to see him again, so I know he's all fine and stuff. I still have his cross necklace wound around my wrist. o__o\

Four, I got a new, old, videogame ^,^ I borrowed Xenogears from Nick, because it's my second favorite game aside from Final Fantasy 7. I've heard people with opinions at both extremes concering the game. Some said it was crap, because it's old and uses sprites . . . but the storyline is so convoluted and interesting ^,^ I think they're just impatient dicks to say that. Depending on how much time I have, you may or may not see some of the obsessive fanart sketchs I do of Citan Uzuki and co. Maybe there will even be a little slash thrown in, yummm. I know, I'm a bad girl, perverting totally innocent games (the innuendos between Bartholomew and Fei and Sig and Citan are SO obvious btw)

They know it's wrong. The media portrays it that way. Schools teach about it. Police lecture on it, at least where I come from. We're taught from an early age, along with our multiplication tables, that you don't get into the driver's seat when you're drunk.

So why do people do it? Hundreds of thousands of people die because of drunk drivers. . . .people's sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers . . . they die. Their bodies are battered and broken, blood spilled over the dashboard.

Have you ever imagined the last scream of a person looking at a pair of oncoming lights as that car plows through them?

Just think about how you'd feel if that was you. A moment of dumb shock, then terror as you realize the other car isn't going to swerve. A shock of pain, metal crushing you, twisting through you, then blackness . . .It could happen to anyone.

It happened today . . .

My friend and was driving in his car tonight . . .

He was hit by a drunk driver. His car was crushed and he was put in the hospital. I've been told he might not make it past tonight.

If he dies tonight, I'll go on living knowing I never got to say goodbye to him. He's suffered so much already. He survived asthma, a broken family, a heart transplant . . . if he dies now because of someone else's stupidity . . . it will break my heart.

Nobody close to me has ever died . . . If it happens, this will be the first time I have to deal with death.

Then the campus got closed out, because the weather got SO bad, that they actually -feared- for our safety!

Secondly, I don't really like idiots. I'm sure a lot of people share this dislike with me. I draw a line between delightfully silly and plain stupidity, alright? To be honest when some random person has added me to their list without my ever having talked to them on DA before and then proceeds to message me and be a moron . . .I'm likely to put up with them until they go away, then immediately block and delete them.

Third, rudeness. Now, I'm not sure but . . .who out there believes that just because you can't see someone's face, you're allowed to be a total dipshit and say whatever the fuck you want, regardless of their feelings? Anyone? . . .hmm, I wonder.

Generally, first impressions are everything with me. If I talk to someone more than once, it's a gesture of acceptance.

I want to be blunt and honest. I'm not really feeling very happy lately. I'm overworked, stressed, tired, and slightly sick. My diabetes is rocketing out of control. I find myself thinking of death more and more often, and I get a cold chill down my spine that I didn't used to get a few months ago when I do.

It's strange. Only now am I realizing. I'm going to die. I am. We all are. It's morbid isn't it. People can say it without feeling anything, because its a fact of nature. But I feel dread . . .I don't know why. Thinking of becoming old and withering away, or not becoming old, and dieing of kidney failure. I think of becoming blind, and losing limbs because of my illness, and yet I can't remember to take my shots.

o____o I think I must be depressed or something, which is fairly rare. I have fun usually, every day. College is great, except when they're over-fucking-loading us with shit up to our god-damn ears. I have not one, but THREE FUCKING PROJECTS, due for ONE class within a week. Hear this, sculptures made of wood CANNOT be built in a fucking day. I'm sick and tired of Byran's stupid deadlines and the money I have to spend making this crap. o__o It's killing me financially, emotionally, and energetically. Having to talk out money with mom each month isn't good. I'm fine living off ramen, really, so long as I can buy the supplies I need for blasted sculpture class. And it'll only get worse next semester when we have Painting and I have to buy materials and stretch my own canvases.

ANYWAY! Yeah....I haven't been motivated to update in a while, sorry. The sad excuse for feedback that the last chapter of Royale got sort of disheartened me to the utmost. I'm not trying to garner pity, I'm just disappointed. Some of those who read the last chapter asked for chapter 5, then when I give it to them, NOBODY reads it. I got ONE comment =__= just one.

This makes me sad. If people don't appreciate the work I put into writing it, I won't write it anymore. I started thinking " fine, nobody likes the writing, I just won't give em any art until they take notice. That'll teach em"

Someone obviously got SO tired of it, that they went about making an entirely new site called Sheezyart.com. It's a nice place apparently, full of the tolerance and acceptance that DA has not. I kind of like that in an art site, so I joined.

I have homework.

I have had not much sleep and I spent TOO much on art supplies yesterday (it is yesterday because its 1 am, darr)

I still have a 10 foot long banner to finish in a day *sigh* plus sketchs for my 3d thinger and beginning work on Syn, AND finishing up page 6 of Graceland AND AND AND! . . .I dunno what else. ;;; I can't even think anymore.

oh yeah, finishing the demon information for GL too. Drat. I have both files open and I'm staring at them, but its not registering in my mental system.

I'm fecking stupid. Why did I agree to do a damn comic when I'm in college?

First of all, I'll begin with the Josh Groban concert on September 2. I have my backstage pass hanging on my mirror, right next to my un-torn slightly marred (from being in my boot) ticket that cost me . . .NOTHING! Zip! nada! 0.00$ It even says so.

And you know why? It has something to do with my being in the chamber choir, and our being asked to be backup singers for his signature piece " You Raise Me Up" It's an absolutely beautiful, uplifting vaguely celtic piece. Lucia Micarelli was the lead violinist. She was fabulous! William Joseph opened for JG and he made my skin get all bumpy and tingly. If you want to preview his wonderful stuff, his site is here (([link])) It's worth giving a listen if you fancy incredible synths and scintillating piano. Kashmir (originally done by Led Zeppelin) is my favorite of his.

Lastly, and I must make this perfectly clear. If anyone comes to me bitching that Josh Groban is just some
obscure opera singer and that that's all he does...

I will capture, torture, publically embarrass, neuter/spay them, put out my precious incense in their uncultured eyeballs, then attach their small intestines to a lead weight and throw it out a window. After that, if they're not dead, I'll sew their mouths shut and leave them to an agonizing death by dessication in a hot, dry place. Then finally laugh manically as buzzards desend to feed upon them

I don't normally get this incensed over nothing, but a few people now have voiced this opinion to me, and being that it was over the net/public place, I couldn't carry out the awore-mentioned actions against them. He's officially classified under Contemporary Classical, and sings a wide range of music from opera, to pop, to latin, to love songs, and various other genres. Anyone with an ounce of class would know this.

Anyway! The concert went very well. Free seats, dinner compliments of the staff, and the chance to look at Josh's handsome face all night.

Moving on. College. Busy as hell on a hex-binge. I'm just getting used to the odd and erratic class schedule. In addition to that, I'm wildly skidding back into my autumn sleep routine, and still falling asleep at 4 am in the morning. Being forced to awaken at 5:40 doesn't grant me much sleep. So naturally whenever I'm not doing homework, I'm napping, eating, out, or working on comics.

I've also picked up a job from Ronin comics (sort of) and that will limit my time even further.

Last, but not least. I'm working on Graceland's new layout. It is taking me forever to figure out, but in my opinion, it's drop-dead gorgeous XD I only have -one- day off college, and that's thursday. Even so I'll be rabidly doing homework x__X since its my only free time.

Hence the disappeared-ness. And so that's my last few weeks update. Such as it is.

Then I went for a walk with Moose around Rutland. When I got back, I found that I had lost my keys. I have a 100$ master front door key on that ring and losing that would mean my head. So mom and I walked all the way back to the park and across Hollywood field to look. I followed my footsteps that were still in the grass and found the keys just sitting there.

I hate losing things. The bad thing is, I lose things even more than the average person. If its losable, I've lost it. I've lost pencils, glasses, keys, pens, pictures, disks, cds, homework, especially homework, etc. Once I lost my kitten too. But he came back when I rattled his food.

Basically this is just a bland and boring snapshot of my day, placed here to get my latest and perfectly justified fucking rant off and into my archives, because I don't want to look at it anymore.

It just got me to wondering. . . what sort of place is our world today anyhow? I mean, I can honestly say that I'm fairly tolerant of a huge variety of kinks, and in fact, even have a few of my own little quirks. But for every person, there is a place to draw the line.

I've watched displays on piercing that would make the average god-fearing person shudder and feel sick to their stomach. I read magazines in the piercing parlor that have articles concerning extreme body manipulation. I'm fascinated with blood and anatomy, and the psychology of the human mind. Bondage is great, says I, and liberating for both parties. You like S& M? Yeah, hell, I do too. I'm quite masochistic actually. Pushing the borders on sexual deviation and mingling pain and pleasure, is fun. It broadens your perception of yourself, and of your partner/s.

I've read books on sexual psychology, just to better understand the motivation behind the acts, the reasons why people develope and support kink. Believe it or not, I've actually researched on my own time, many of the different kinks, everything from foot fetishes, to golden showering, to snuff. I've come to accept pretty much everything for several reasons: there's an explanation behind it, that through my personal understanding of psychology, I can relate to, it's acceptable according to my understanding of nature, and finally, it's acceptable according to human law, both religious, and institutional.

So, it's not illegal to spank consentual adults. It's not unnatural to do it from behind. Admittedly, its not -totally- natural to have anal sex, but it's an alternate use to the body, and is no less creative than oral sex. Toys are great fun too, cheap, easy, and they don't steal covers. Even the strange fetish some people have for plushies, I can accept after some thought. On the basic level, they're a self-pleasure toy too. Go ahead and be an exhibitionist, although you might get thrown in the clink for indecent exposure. Go ahead and tittilate with feathers and ticklers. Buy the biggest damn vibrator you can find and practice cunnilingus til your tongue falls off!

But there's one thing I can't quite find an explanation for. And I'm not trying to start a war here. These are just my thoughts . . .

Why would anyone want to screw their pet dog? Is it conveniant? Perhaps it's because it's so socially frowned upon that animal lovers get a rush out of it. If you look in the wild, I doubt you'll see a parrot and a marmoset getting randy, or a racoon and a rabbit, or a marine iguana and an ostrich. Reality is, in the wild, animals are smart enough to stick to their own species the majority of the time. Nature is at it's purest in the great outdoors, so I can only assume that this is the way it was meant to be. So . . .if animals don't fuck outside their class and family, why do we?

I've owned several horses, two dogs, three cats, a hampster, a rooster, a half a dozen snakes, and two gophers. I loved each and every single one. Don't think I somehow hate animals or don't understand them, or that zoophiliacs somehow understand them better than me, or can communicate on some weird muckity-muck-critter-whisperer level. I lived in the wilderness for almost 6 years, I've spent the greater part of my life with animals, and yet I still can't understand what would possess anyone to be sexually attracted to say . . .a camel, or a goose. I consider furries and anthros to be on the line that I draw for myself. Weres are on that line too.

That is my rant on strange sex. I don't know why I wasted my time to write it, but here it is. If I've creeped out or offended anyone, sorry, but I'm going to have to say balls to ya, because I'm entitled to my journal, same as anyone else.

Now if you'll excuse me, listening to Till sing about metaphorical homosexual incest is making me want to draw porn. Bow wow, fricken arf.

I nearly died this morning. It was a frightening experience. But let me tell you the melodramatic backstory.

For about 6 months, I've had such shitpoor control over my blood sugar that they had an average of about 24 all the time. A normal person's sugar is 4.5....you read that right. I spent 6 months at a level that any sane person would be hospitalized for. But I'm not sane. I'm stupid. I'm a strange kind of diabetic, the kind that somehow doesn't feel the usual horrid sickness that most people get with high blood sugar. It doesn't happen to me, I couldn't tell you why.

Anyway, I recently discovered that one of our fellow webcomickers is also diabetic. And since I admire him and his work so much (damn right Adi, you're on my pedestal) I thought I'd try and aspire to taking better care of myself too. After all, I'm an artist. Diabetics can lose their sight, their limbs, and worse.

So I got a little overzealous. The rabid blood checking was great, and still is great. I got over my fear of the pain that I've fostered for almost five years now. I also started taking a lot more insulin. A LOT more.

20 NPH, three times a day. For those of you who aren't familiar with insulin, when you eat as little, and as erratically as I do, that can be a lot. I was fine yesterday, with decent readings, but when I found my blood to be above 10 two times, I took a shot of 20 each time. Big Mistake.

I woke up this morning in a quivering funk. I woke MYSELF up shuddering and nearly in insulin shock. So then I bolted half naked, and half asleep into the kitchen, tried to maneuver my testing equipment with hands more jittery than a parkinson's victim . . .and raced for the spare freezer.

There were ice-cream sandwiches waiting there, the most beautiful angels I've ever seen. This won't stop me from taking care of myself, but hopefully it'll wear the frantic edge off my "omfg, gotta stay aliiiiive" spree. Cause if I over-do it again. It'll be so counterproductive, I might not see you again.

I feel a little better now . . . .I think I'll have another.

Backgrounds will be moderately simple, unless you request the complex backgrounds.
Erotica applies to single people (naked, or touching self etc.) If you want two or more people (Yaoi/Yuri/Het) doing naughty things, that makes it a two+ subject picture. A passionate kiss/embrace does count as erotica for me, while a little peck on the cheek does not.
Anything CG will be mailed to you on a disk with the original ink drawing.
Two person+ yaoi/yuri can not be laminated! The reason for this, is because my mother would slit my throat. A single naked person is ok though. Sorry, you'll have to laminate it yourself.

So anyway, I finally bought into that deal and got myself a votey vote button. It brings a lot of cool options to those who can get above 100. The current tally is that you'd have to have about 150 votes in a day to get above 100.

Once you're on the top100 list, you can put cool things up like secret graphics and sketchs that can't be found anywhere else. It's like a little reward to encourage people.

The only problem is . . .I don't even get that many visitors to Graceland in a day. And so, this is where I need people's help. If you have a favorite forum, or other message board you visit frequently, give GL a little plug for me? ---> ([link])

Stupidity. Yes, you heard it right. DA has been after a few buds of mine, and it makes me a little angry to think that even dear Moose got warned for a picture of my twins featuring a little nipple-play and nothing below the waist. Christ, that naked photo of the floaty couple on the Devi-daily was worse than that. But oh, christ as our witness, THAT was a straight couple.

MD was also banned. I found this out from Moose, just now. This irritates me as well. Sure her stuff was a little borderline, but none of it showed ANY private bits of any kind. And in fact, many of them wore speedos and were nicely tastefully censored.

They warn you under the pretense that it violates the DA code. But reality is, and we all know it . . .they do it because it appalls THEM personally. And because they don't want to bother telling off whatever little whiner shat his pantie and ran to them to change it.

I know there's no point in whining about it. Sure that's been said for a long time now. We little people can't do crap-all. If we try, we get banned too. And since they are the "lords of us" All we can do is cower under their proverbial fucking thumb.

In other news, graceland page 2 is coming along much better now. I finally broke through my creative block concerning the last half of the page, and now the basic inking (no fills) is nearing the halfway point. Woot.

I mentioned before that I totally cleaned my room, well, since I found a 50 dollar gift certificate that my Gram gave me forever-ago and I totally forgot about, I went down to the Opus art store and looked around for things I'll need in college. I found an easil, which is my new favorite toy! It was twice the amount of money I had, but I paid for it anyway and I swear that thing is the coolest easil ever! It's even better than the wooden ones that were super expensive because it holds canvases up to 54 inches tall X3

After that I went to michaels, bought some annoyingly over-priced acrylic paint, and two super cheap canvases. Now I'm trying to plot out the recurring idea I've been having recently. I'm going to paint something with the theme of "individuality" and society's double standard towards it. It came from the observation of how people react to me. I'm always encouraged by everyone to be different, be special, don't look and act like everyone else. But when I try, people stare disapprovingly at me, call me a freak, and think I'm some abnormal creepy thing that shouldn't be around -their- child.

I can't sleep anymore. Or rather, I can, but not when I'm supposed to, and only a few hours. I try and try to go to bed earlier, around 1 am, but I lay there and lay there, unable to turn off my brain to fall asleep. It's only at around 5 am, that I can finally zonk out. =__= then I sleep for a bit, and lay fitfully until around 4 in the afternoon. o__o I can't handle this fucked up sleep deprivation any more. A few days before, I didn't sleep at all for about three days.

It's playing havoc with my creative impulses. I try to draw, and it all pops out in this huge burst but then I'm left with a half finished picture that I have no urge to finish. o__O Same with my writing. I've been having these beautiful ideas for Graceland, and for YY, but I get them in the late am's when I'm trying to sleep. I know that if I dare to get up, I won't have a chance of rest at all.

T____T Gads . . . this is why I hate the summer time. It also makes taking care of my diabetes difficult. But something more annoying than that is my stupid glucometer that I just got. It's one of those new ones that pops the test strips out the bottom when you press a button. Here I was thinking " holy crap, this is so l33t" But it's not. It really isn't at all. I try and try to test my blood, pricking my finger maybe half a dozen times (torture, I tell you) and I get error after error from the piece of shit. So I'm wasting expensive strips, causing unnecessary pain, AND raising my blood pressure from getting pissed at it.

I'm asking mom to get more strips for my old tester today. Maybe things will get better then. =__=

And I'm going to force myself to recall all those good ideas I've been having. I WILL write them out today. Not only that, I WILL clean my entire room this week (it's a whirwind of old paper) AND I will finish the second page of Graceland, AND at least start my commission for Shadow-kiss . . . . . . urrgh . . .that's a hefty to-do list for someone as unmotivated as I am. I can sum it up in three words.

Ouch, my sanity.

[UPDATE:: Room is totally cleaned, spotless. I'm currently dusting it a little. All boxes are hidden/moved, all old papers have been tossed out. I had an entire huge black garbage bag of stuff to throw away x__X Computor area got tidied, I tied back all the cords, made my bed, changed all my naughty drawings to a more secure location, and stowed all junk in my closet/shelves/etc. As for creative pursuits, things will have to wait a little. that took me all day and I want some Ragnarok]

But since I'm making an entry here about my special day, I thought I'd tell you a short little story concerning the fateful 27th day of July, 1986.

It all started with my Grandmother. My granny is a sweet little lady who came from a large French family. She was empoverished for a time, like many back then. Now, my gramma's mom was pregnant with a baby girl, a girl who was going to be named Rachel. Great Gran, by some fell turn of fate lost the baby and Rachel never came to be.

Lo and behold, Gramma grew up and had my mom. Mom met "Blue Eyes" (that's what she called my dad before she knew his name) and became pregnant with me. Here's where it gets interesting.

Some people don't believe in divine forecasts or visions of the future, but my Grandmother had a dream one night, one sent by God. In that dream, the lord told her the exact date of her grandchild's birth, and the name. He said that it would be a baby girl, and she would be named Rachel, the child who didn't come to be the first time around.

Sounds hoaky doesn't it? But it's true. I was born on the precise date that was told in the dream, I am a girl (far as I know) and my name is Rachel. ^__^

That's the story of me. Everybody always said I had enough talent for two people. Maybe they're right and I'm a recycled soul.

Well, Happy Birthday to me at 5:15 pm on the 27th. See you all around.

Ok, we'll start with the trip down from Kelowna. We thought it would take 4 hours or so like it usually does. However, due to incessant construction (which consisted of nothing more than a bunch of hot sweaty young men aimlessly tossing gravel on the road and calling it a "topcoat") we were delayed almost an hour and a half in getting to the ferry terminal in Tsawassen. We thought Auntie would be worried but it turned out that her boat was late getting in too and she had just stepped out the door, and there we were. So we set off towards the peace arch.

It was a pretty impressive monument that peace arch, for what it is . . .I always picture it to be this big graceful white curve arching over the two little roads that lead through customs...I was wrong, but it was still pretty cool. It didn't span the two lanes, but I went and stood in it anyway so Auntie could take a picture. The guy asked my mom where she came from and where Auntie came from and asked if I was mom's daughter or not and how old I was. Then he asked mom if she was Norwegian or something cause she had some sort of accent. o__O we summed it up to the guard's obligation to take you off guard and see how people respond. But anyway, on to Seattle.

We stopped briefly along the way in the town just over the border so Auntie and mom could pick up smokes. They bought Marlboros cause they are cheap as hell, but GOD do they reek! x__X Aaugh, I was dieing the whole fricken trip cause they had to smoke in the car. Then we went off to Seattle and drove through on the #5 Interstate. I looked up at those huge buildings and a little tear came to my eye ;__; I love big pretty buildings. And we went right through one, it was so cool. I love Seattle. That night we ended up at a Best Western in a little city and slept. Now...I had the opportunity to use the internet there, but I figured I'd have tons more opportunities and so didn't take advantage of it. Lords I was wrong!

We continued on down the coast of Washington, which I think is really beautiful, btw. We stopped in Long Beach down at the southern tip of the state and I got out and trotted all over the beach (which had dark grey sands, SO cool) and I got my skirt all soaking wet. They say that beach is the longest in the world, but I don't believe it, arrogant american government =__= I picked up an old skeleton key at the antique shop there (that's weird btw cause they don't call them shops, they call them antique "malls" but they're not malls, they're tiny)

We went off down the Oregon coast, which was very nice (and the point of our trip) Moving onto the #1 highway, we wound our way down through the trees and around the cliffs. While I have an iron stomach and very rarely get carsick, airsick, or otherwise, I nearly threw up on that road. It was the worst road I've ever been on, complete with rough parts, potholes, twists, hairpins, dips, hills, and the claustrophobic feeling of closed in trees. x__X

We stayed the night in Tillamook, which, I must say, is the shittiest little crap-town I've ever seen next to....maybe New Surrepta (yes, laugh Moose, ha ha) The people were impolite and the prices were insane, the food sucked and all the hotels were full. It's a tiny, lame-ass dive of a place which, I'm sure, only receives business because it's at the most conveniant place to stop for the night. Our rugged trio ended up at the Red Apple Inn. Mom met this guy the next morning, who she thought was damn sexy, ended up giving him her number, and then we left. I thought he was nice too though. (mom is divorced btw, she's allowed)

On to Reedsport we went, through Florence and such. We visited some more beachs, I got wet and found some seals and stuff, which was cool. We took a helluva lot of pictures of awesome rock bluffs in the ocean and neat scenery.

After staying the night in Reedsport, we drove back to Florence the next day and rode horses on the Oregon coastal sand dunes XD it was the coolest thing ever! Of course, I suffered greatly despite the cool-ness factor. Since I checked the "advanced" box on my pony sign-up form, I got a really dumb horse. Now...I'm used to riding all manners of horses, I can stick to almost anything....but this was no spirited stallion. This was a grumpy, dumb horse. His name was Snickers. He didn't -like- water, he had a horribly jarring rough gait, and he refused to canter unless there were other horses beside him. I ended up with an unbearably sore ass, sore crotch muscles, and a nasty sunburn. But at least I saw cool stuff.

I don't know how our time is going to be down there, considering that Mom only has so much time off and we might not even get as far as I want to go (to San Francisco). o___o I didn't realize that Fairfield was so far down in California. T___T It's kinda sucky, but we might not even get that far before we have to go home. I'm really sorry Mina, I'll try my best to get there. First of all, the lodge is still as beautiful as when I left it. The sunsets were spectacular too. I remember the last day I was there, after it had rained for three days straight, I was looking out at these deep indigo blue clouds and between those clouds and the horizon there was a strip of sky that was the most interesting shade of greenish blue.

Dad took me on his boat and I sat right up in the front of it, where the anchor is pulled up, with my feet hanging over the edge as he drove out over the water. I looked down and it felt like I was just flying over the water, without help from anything. While we were out there, I caught 6 fish, then fed those 6 fish to the pelicans. I've never seen pelicans before in real life, so that was neat. ^__^ I told Pierce that they looked like J Lenno cause of their huge chins.

Dad's ATV was there so I rode that around a little too. Since I've been riding it for years, I decided I'd go up over this super rocky path up the mountain with Eric on the dirtbike behind me. I was going about 40-60 in most places over these skull-sized rocks, standing up on the small running boards. I choked poor Eric with dust, and arrived in a whimpering heap on the resort front step. Apparently I'd ridden so roughly that I could no longer stand. I looked like a retarded spider trying to hobble around the common room without seizing up and collapsing. On the bright side, after only one ride, I've now got these killer thigh muscles and abs too X3 *pulls up her shirt* Ah ha ha. Poke me, I dare you. *flex* Don't ask me how I managed that, but hell . . . its damn cool.

I painted some cabins while I was there, beat on my step-bros daily, hiked a little, and spent most of my free time helping with dishes, or drawing comics. When I wasn't doing that, I was watching the boys play Perfect Dark on the N64, or playing myself.

It was a really nice trip, I have to say. and I was inspired artistically the whole time. Unfortunately, my laptop was complete dead weight. I brought it with me, fully intending to proofread some of Panthra's prose, and write plentifully, however, I turned it on once on the first night for about 10 minutes, stared at the screen, then shut it off and didn't touch it again.

So, I survived a pulverizing ride, getting couch legs hurled at me, nearly getting pushed in the water, and being smucked in the head repeatedly by a pop can and a pillow. I still have bruises from the ultra pokey mattress, and fears that I'll awake in the night with a wood spider on my face.

All in all, I was born in the city but I'm a country girl. . . . . .

. . . .except for the mosquitoes. I made one explode after it took a bite out of my left boob.

How much homework you may ask?

SO much, that I have bitten off all my fingernails in panic and frustration. I had four chapters of history to do. And I did them all in one weekend, barely.

I'm ok for now, but in three days I have a Literature Provincial exam, and I need to study. So don't expect anything until after then. I'll have Friday, the weekend, then I'm leaving for my Dad's resort with Moose (yes moose, he said you could come with) And after THAT, I'm going on my two week vacation to the US with my Mom and Aunty.

Mina, I may stop by, I dunno. Things are still up in the air. I'll try.

And lastly, my HELP REQUEST: it is as follows.

Lately Shi-ran.net has stopped scanlating their manga. Now I love this site (thank you for giving it Mina) but there are some series that they have halted without finishing. Now this makes eager readers like me VERY frustrated.

One of these series is Private Magician , and Last Client by Takashima Kazusa.

I REQUIRE THESE MANGA! The final chapters of this are necessary for my continuing sanity, so please, if you have ANY means of finding them, or know anyone who has them scanlated, please tell me where I can get them! I'd even take them in raw japanese ;___;

Well, what should I do the second they opened the doors and I walked through? . . . .

I Bawled. My. Eyes. Out.

Yes, I cried a river, as Timberlake would say. I walked through the great big church doors into a mass of standing people, a humongous congregation of screaming, excited, emotion. It smacked me a hard right hook and I started to cry. In fact, I kept on crying even as I walked up on stage. Cause guess what?

I was singing O Canada with three other choir members. Yes. Me. Up on stage in front of over 1000 people, singing our National Anthem, struggling to keep my voice as angelic as possible, while CRYING! . . . . Well needless to say, I pulled it off ok ^__^;

Then there was the wait, the smelly grads, the tarts next to me who kept leaving to go smoke in the bathroom, and the general discomfort of wearing a blue velvet dress under a heavier blue gown. So my name was called and I tried to stay composed as I leisurely strolled across the stage, my eyes on our old principal.

If you haven't done it, you wouldn't believe what happens when you walk across the stage. Everything gets dull, the screaming vanishes, the lights are flashing. All I could do was walk and keep my eyes on Mr. Gloster, bend my head as he flipped my silly hat tassel, then move on to Mrs. Zorn (who is pregnant, her due date was that very night) Once again, I was dry up until she reached out and hugged me. All I could say was how happy I was that she had come to the ceremonies. Then off I walked in a daze.

I received a little standing ovation, complete with hoots from David Breen (a very unique fellow) and I didn't even know it.

My dad was on the balcony, watching me walk back up the aisle, and he ran down to the very edge to take a picture of me. God, he was crying too. So was Mom. I dunno about Gramps . . .he's a bit stoic.

And everything from that moment on was the let-down. There was a Valedictorian video by the Beaton twins which was great fun. There was footage of the two of them beating the shit out of eachother as little babies Funniest thing I ever saw, a baby smashing another fricken baby into a cupboard, then curb-stomping him on the linoleum. Really.

And that was the end of that.

OH YES! and now prom, which I have just arrived home from only minutes before sitting down to write this.

Well it was a great event. It started at the dolphin statue, by The Grand Hotel (which we're famous for) There were so many ever so pretty, princessy, preening people. And there was I, in a red silk corset with a glossy black PVC miniskirt and fishnet. Heh heh, and then it started to rain.

And so we marched. We had our photo, a long and tedious affair involving a tardy young guy from Artona studios who took ages to get us into a useable block without a megaphone.

And then we marched some more. We marched all the way down to the hall by Rose's Pub (big fricken place, btw) We loitered in a sweltering lobby, and just when it seemed we would be over-ridden with bodily odor, we were let into the much cooler dining room. And it was spectacular X3

BUFFET! yes, yes! For a person wearing a super-tight corset, buffets are the ENEMY! But alas, I could not resist. Mom had to loosen my strings a little so I could dance x_X

Then we danced. Now one would think that a prom would be a moderately solomn affair, but no. We made it un-solomn. And by we, I mean my friends and I X3 You see, a lot of girlies are afraid to really bust a move, because oh! they may sweat their makeup off. Lucky me, I had waterproof eye liner In any case, we made it hot. I am proud to say I danced with almost all of my crew, except for a few. Mel might have slapped my face around backwards, and well Scotty doesn't like lassies.

I'm also proud to say that I can grind. Woo me. Moose can attest to that I think, as can my date ( ~Shem-nuts ), who, upon my request, wore a leather vest with no shirt underneath. Eh he he heee . . . I liked.

Been working on character designs and a really long write up on a new race called the Taos'en. I'm certain all of the people around here who like to see bishounen, will enjoy my Taos Vailen. Also, if you like vampires, you'll probably like them. If you like steam punk fantasy you might like them. If you like vampire bishies in a science fiction realm, you'll -definitely- like them.

I'll be uploading a design for the Fui'en. The only way I can describe them is to say that Taos'en are hermaphroditic, and Fui'en are the psychological equivalent of women. In time, I may upload the text file, but due to past incidents involving DELETION OF MY FRICKEN DEVIATIONS! *middle finger* my subject matter may just be too racy.

I'm currently working on page 5 of Graceland too, and its coming along alright. Hopefully I won't be surreptitiously slain in my sleep by impatient fans.

I've changed my independant study to something more morbid, and saved dear Thero and Iroha for my own personal projects. Now I'm painting on canvas with acrylics, something I shall title "Hatred" or, if you fancy Latin, " Quod Abominor." I will dedicate it to my art class, and to all those I despise. Art speaks louder than any hurtful words because it inspires emotion.

And now, I am hobbling off to twist more tales from the land of Taos. Remember to use a condom folks, spay or neuter your pets, wear a seat belt, and don't mix drugs.

Now when I joined DA, I read the guidelines the same as everyone else. And it plainly said something along the lines of any nudity must be tasteful, and no EXPLICIT sexual content. Ok, so I obeyed. Halo was tastefully nude, or so I thought. And like I said quite pointedly in my description on the IroxMav piccer, "there are no dangly bits showing" I even made sure that you had to be a COMPLETE moron, to be offended, due to the "clicky download" thing.

Now I'm really curious, as to who told the admins about my poor bishies. But because I'm obviously NOT going to get a fricken response on that, I won't bother asking. =___=

A guess I won't be drawing naked people anymore, because Deviantart, doesn't tolerate a tastefully done picture of -one- person with an erection, who wasn't even doing anything sexual with it.

I wonder, if I submitted a picture of two naked men just kissing, would it be deleted? would I get banned for that? And what about two naked women, hmm? I bet I wouldn't get in trouble for drawing yuri. =__=

I wish there was a "fuck you" emoticon. *flips the responsible admins the bird anyway* Bugger you all for changing the god-damn guidelines on me then pissing on my bloody parade.

o_____o;; and my alarmclock apparently just decided that it wouldn't go off this morning, and I missed my ride to school. I can't find ANYthing wrong with it, so I'm assuming that it has a mind of its own. Now, here I sit, because I just don't feel like rushing off to art class, only to deal with my stupid teacher =___=

BAD. DAY.

Not going to gripe about it (big surprise) Already ranted to poor Mina. I think it would be best for me to NOT regale everyone on the little mechanisms that go on in my head, that nobody IRL could possibly know. That would spoil the mystery *pose*

Just going to say that I am generally feeling like the lowest, most useless piece of cast-off refuse in the world right about now. I am coming to the realization that the one thing that I had and cherished, due to certain circumstances, has most likely decided that it no longer cares to consider me, or be mine any longer.

And that's ok.

What right did I have to think I could keep something so rare anyway? I can understand my driving forces, I know what makes me tick and what keeps my soul winding on. I know I'm being foolish, but sometimes a person just has to be foolish, to learn a lesson, as painful as it can be.

It's when the lessons keep piling on in a day, that things get to be unbearable. Yesterday. Never. Happened.

Have you ever wished that you never received a blessing, because of the pain it brought aftewards?

Nobody need remark on this. I just needed to say it to put myself at peace.

I think I need to go and cry myself to sleep now. It's 1:11 am and I'm still awake, lamenting over the fact that I'm a moron.

I did the initial doodle when I was with in OC and I decided after adding a body to it, that I could take it a few steps further. Even if it doesn't end up as my Independant Study, I am still going to make an actual poster of it, and get prints made for all my friends ^_____^ (that is, IF its good enough)

So . . .yeah, that is all the news I have for today. ^o^/ I'll try and keep up to date on comments, although my Devwatch tends to overflow x___X If I don't comment on something, don't be offended, ok? If it's something you're real proud of, just note it to me or something.

I'm going to see if I can get an appointment with a psychologist, to talk about certain things which are occuring more often than they have been before.

But it should do more help than harm, at least I think so.

I'm REALLY sorry if I haven't commented on anything lately. DA has this massive bug problem recently with Internet Exploror, or somesuch, that totally screwed over my computor and wouldn't show ANY pictures.

I got Firefox though, so anything submitted from now on, I'll try and comment on, ok? ^___^
