first of all, great thanks to everyone down south for being so sweet and opening their homes (and arms! and possibly other appendages were involved) to me
*windfalcon =ladydove7 =AgnosticPriest ~PuzzyGato ~CrimsonRoom and a few others who i dont know if they do or don't have some sort of persona here on the interwebs.

what a trip, first of all. almost didnt get to rent my car, because i didnt have enough coverage on my insurance. called my aunt, she fixed it. then the bank took my money but didnt intend to let me use it :\ win. so it took over an hour to figure that out...i was late to work, etc. etc. cried my eyes out in the bank because i just wanted everything to work out....eventually it did. but then i was exhausted.

my boss never lets me gtfo of work on time. i dont know if that's more my fault or his, but /shrug it seems like there's always one more thing to do. so i got out of work about 30-40 minutes late. my aunt offered to let me borrow her gps but i didnt want to go all the way to her house .... but i changed my mind and decided it might be useful. went to her house for half an hour or so. acquired gps.

went home and felt retarded. i didnt want to spend the next 12-20 hours driving D: so i lazed around for awhile. casually packed (which i wanted to do in the a.m. but didnt have time to), went to get into the car and the keys were missing. after frantically searching for about 20 minutes, i woke up my mom and dad to help me, and found them hanging on the vacuum cleaner in the middle of the hallway. score! :\

i finally started driving and decided i should buy some caffeine and nicotene and such things so i stopped in town again, bought some pop tarts and cans of amp or monster and a coffee. the dunkin donuts guy wouldnt stfu and give me my coffee and forced me to take some food for free, so i settled on hash browns, thinking they would be the usual cardboard style potato deliciousness like what you get at mcdonalds at 5am. WRONG! they were like miniature(?inorite?) tater tots with ONIONS D: i wasnt sure the first time i tasted them but then i tasted another one and it was definitely onions :B gross! it was the worst. so i ordered a large coffee and he also gave me like a xxl one....anyway it was after 11pm before i started driving.

i think i made it toooooooooooooooo......new york before i had to pee. or new jersey. then on the jersey turnpike the gps i borrowed from my aunt got at least 100 errors and i was glad that i had at least written down directions from googlemaps.

DRIVING TAKES A LONG TIME.

VIRGINIA IS FOR VIRGINS. BIG. and they enforce your speed limit with AIRCRAFT. i want to know how the fuck that works! do they like
dive bomb you? in the middle of the highway? for speeding?

anyway i finally hit 85 and i was like woot now i just have to get to exit 81. i was in north carolina at exit 100 or something...and i was thinking hmmm.....either these states got a lot smaller or i forgot something. T-T

i forgot that the highway exit numbering starts over at the beginning of the state D:
so i made it almost to spartanburg and some asshole in a giant orange truck towing an even more giant trailer allowed the trailer to fishtail for a few miles before he finally rolled it over across 4 lanes of traffic. i pulled over and called 911...the guy looked miserable. i can only imagine how expensive that trailer was D: and who knows what was inside it! it might have been a camper type thing. lucky me, i was the next person behind him so it was not too much of a clusterfuck when i pulled back onto the road from the shoulder. there was however only 1/2 a lane open for traffic.

finally get to atlanta, but spend a good 30 minutes or more in traffic. didnt find the right exit due to construction or shitty directions from google. i eventually drove by *windfalcon like 3 times and during that time the "maintenence required" light came on in the car. all it meant was that the car needed an oil change...BUT WHY COULD THE THREE PEOPLE I TALKED TO ON THE PHONE NOT CONFIDENTLY TELL ME THAT. i went a few places, we finally made it to firestone, they changed the oil, and we headed back to the dorm room to shower and change and get ready to (belatedly) meet =http://onichan.deviantart.com/journal/21152502/ Sat, 25 Oct 2008 09:18:16 PDT

this is 23 photos of me and my boyfriend, taken on march 4th this year in a hotel room somewhere in manchester or south windsor...
it was fun and painful.

these are the pictures given to me by the photographer, Fischer S. Bessi. He has yet to come to terms with this new-fangled internet so i'm working on getting his name around. he's had some ads in Focus magazine, possibly advertising some more there.

he's done a lot of cool work, i will soon be creating him an account on here.

there are multiples of the same shot that he did multiple exposures on, or changed the color balance. all comments are appreciated and will be passed on to him accordingly!

At Otakon 2004, a close friend was attending the karaoke event. The music was loud enough to make it difficult to keep track of things going on around her, and she was dragged into an adjacent room and raped. There weren't enough people maintaining the room to hear her cries for help. While she wishes to put this all behind her, it is also very important to push the chairs of Otakon to have proper security at their events! If there had been enough people staffed and enough maintenence being performed in each event room, something unexpected like this would have never happened. The person who did this to her was never apprehended, since he disappeared directly afterward and nobody had noticed anything.

Otakon chairs have been made aware of this occurence. If they do not respond positively to our complaints, a formal petition and boycott will be organized. Please keep an eye out here for more news and SPREAD THE WORD. If you have any knowledge of anything else like this, or any other criminal activity, happening AT THE CON itself, not only in the city of Baltimore, but within the "secure" setting of the convention, PLEASE do not hesitate to make the convention heads aware of it.

keep in mind to apply this thought to any other convention as well. we, as paying guests, expect to feel safe in the convention setting and should not have to worry about being mugged or raped or anything of that nature. if something like this should happen to you DO NOT HESITATE to contact officials and alert them as to the occurence.

thanks a lot everyone, any support is very much appreciated. while a boycott wont help our friend regain her dignity, it will show the convention heads that we are seriously concerned for our safety and well-being at their events.

i got bored the other day, bought a pair of scissors (all we have in the apartment is knives), and chopped off my hair......it's a little longer than shoulder-length, and more than a little uneven ;;; but i think on the whole it looks ok...i trimmed my bangs to go in sort of an upside-down u-shape over my forehead...fun. and i dyed it black.....ugh, dye is still stuck to my scalp! i bought the black dye at the last second, since it was cheaper than the bleach >.<

looking definitely forward to moving back to manchester after graduation. i'll be living with liz and levon ^.^ wooh. i just need to find a job now >.<

still working on some abstract musical painty things for mrs. simon's class...i'm still not happy with the few i've done.

one was based on some romantic-period music...it was just a blur of lines and things.
the second was based on dir's egnirys, and it was intended to apply to the chorus "shi.ro.i.ko.na.onaka dashite", etc. (spread the white powder on my stomach...or something along those lines) it's pretty much a song about drug use. so it was a naked lady, reclined and kinda like, positioned like she was having a withdrawal seizure..i think. i painted her in greens....from the neck to the thigh, across teh paper but then i added words and it sucked.

this one i think i'm gonna keep, based on dir's Mask. umm i hope it will come out okay...i'm sick of wasting her paint =\
it will feature the phrase at the beginning of the song: "though it's members have promised us peace, they have led us to war, heedless of the platform upon which they were elected"

man: "oh thats just like you fuckin bitch."

jeannie called the police. ^^

uuuuuummmmm i have not been artistically motivated lately. there's the stupid painting i've been working on. i != painter. as stated before.

Alex, a guy that i dont really know but admire greatly, has just joined deviantart. he's the last one under "from my hometown", definitely check him out guys! this boy is going places!

so now i have new razorblades. i'm dying my hair, maybe i'll get some more blurry pics with the webcam. i think i'll start editing a few of the older pics that i never did work on...namely from the shoots of the brains and at charter oak...maybe some more bunny pictures....*sob* i miss my little incestual homosexual rabbit.....


speaking of rabbit, puck has been really unfriendly lately. i got him some salt and new food today, maybe if i keep kody outside more he'll like me better. umm....
jeannie is keeping her eye out for a new camera...it looks like we're gonna be getting a fuji...3.0 mpx, digital and optical zoom...a cute lil thing. she mentioned a kodak but i cant STAND those.......fuji, canon, olympus in no particular order. those i will tolerate.
i want a new 35mm too...T-T girl cant have everything.

i need to get motivated and draw some stuff...the only thing i've been working on lately is an anime-style drawing of my RO assassin ^,..,~ yeah...i'm going to school in 6 months and i think it might benefit me to do .. well ... anything. i'm horrible at coloring stuff in photoshop and my scanner frequently rapes my work so i'm kinda stuck...

so...tired...didnt sleep at all on saturday, until about 9 when i passed out until 1. so far today, i've 'rested' in drug ed and slept for about 20 minutes during the lunch wave. yeah...oni needs nap

ANIME BOSTON IN 4 DAYS whee! i'm excited...but i'm such a screw up sewing..i'm sooooo bad.....uggh...one of the sleeves on the dress i made is a little tight....that's why i'm making a cape to go over it

i need only to make moogle wings and a headdress to complete the costume...im gonna stop and pick up some ballet slippers or something to wear on my feet. mph.
err that's all....

oh no it isnt. i'm gonna try to convince my dad to let me borrow his camera this coming weekend so that i can maaaaaaaaaybe take some pictures....regular 35mm film or disposable cam is too expensive...and i'd need like 5 of them T-T i still need to ask him to cosign a loan for me > .<

ok. NOW that's all...i'm hanging out with seth today? mebbeh? hope his computer is fixxord so that he's not all moody T-T

i want a frog.

revamped the journal a bit with some cute little icony things...it's gonna take me a bit to get it the way i want it, so bear with me. i'll keep working on it

i applied at the Bombay Co. yesterday, and i'm going to call today. from what the guy i talked to was saying, they're looking for someone anyway, and i think i could do the job....i just hope that you dont have to be 18 >.< that would be fairly aggravating. but ya know...i'm motivated and i'm sick of being treated like crap from the people of the olive garden. in my humble opinion, i'm a pretty easygoing person, but there are two things that make me angrier than anything else...when people dont take responsibility for their actions, and when people don't follow through with what they say they will do. and these fucks at the o-g have done both. and not only that, but they're trying to make -me- look bad in the interim by highlighting the twice that i called them to say i couldnt make it and the once that i came in and they told me that i hadnt been on the orientation list and that they'd rescheduled it anyway....after i took the time to come in when i should have stayed home from school and recovered. *growl* well hopefully i'll get a good job...i'm also applying at Barnes & Noble and the Vernon Diner......*sigh* i really dont want to be broke for AB, but i know i'm going to be. i guess it's time to start registering for Connecticon...before it gets expensive. ^_^

mm, spaghetti and clam sauce *stomach grumbles* i've also made a personal goal to finally do what my throat doctor has told me a couple times....to live a healthy lifestyle. my throat really was killing me the past few days, so i decided to start eating healthier...to force myself to eat things that carry bad associations (my parents always overcooked their vegetables...to the point where you could put a piece of broccoli in your mouth and pretty much slurp it down)...to excercise, or at least spend more time being active...etc. etc.

i've managed to wake up a tad earlier, and i'm trying to get to bed earlier too. that would have happened last night but i got involved in a game of chess with seth...man, i'm horrible at chess. i start with a strategy and then...*sigh* i think i should study technique more.

anyway, this is my little indulgence since the addiction-breaking was to begin after class. until monday morning at 5:45 am, i will not be online. *pout* *scampers away*

i tried to paint a cup last night--one of the ones from my japanese tea set. it's nice...black and kinda ridgey. i put it in interesting lighting and went from there. well my paint kept smudging all over the place and i ended up just splatting black, white, and about 8 different shades of grey across it. i love the feel of just loading on tons of acrylic..muahahahahaa *clutch*

so i got my room in order today..i think it looks pretty good. took out the balloon (aka air mattress) and replaced it with a nice sleeping pallet (aka workout mat + sheets and pillows)i also cleared all my stuff that i could find out of lisa's room, and and and um...i got some stuff. i forget where i was going with that....
