So I ask you all this...does ANYONE need some graphics done? Either for their website or logo, or business cards or anything?!?! I will do graphic design at a reduced rate to anyone who needs it. I am unemployed as well and am currently freelancing for a living.

I mean how are they going to show Jacob exploding into wolf form? Have the boy standing there and then cut scene to a puppy chewing on a shredded pair of shorts?

I had a couple problems with the movie...

1. WTF was up with Jasper? I mean the poor boy was either ready to rape Bella at a moment's notice, constipated, mildly retarded or all three! The looks he had on his face cracked me up...but I was irked since I had come to respect him as this big military genius from the books...oh well.

2. Erm how did the stylist come up with Edward's hair? Did she see a victim of lightning strike and think "damn now that is a cool do!"
I think they must have hung him upside down to style it that way.

3. James was too hot...I did not know he was the dish from Never Back Down...I found myself having hot flashes over the psycho and it hurt my morals *sniffle*
Him and his evil grin will be staring in my dreams tonight!

All in all I really did like it and I can't wait for the next movie...but then again I am still waiting for the damn Harry Potter movie that was supposed to be out now but was pushed back till next year...sigh...I need my fix!

Ooh special bonus, going to the 10:30 pm showing up 1 hour early, blessedly tipsy and still having to wait in line for 40 minutes with girls younger than my little sister. My husband was ready to kill me, but he loves me enough to indulge my little tweenish moments so God bless him!

In other news I am so overboooked! Yes I said boooked ^^ I have this part time gig at the store, then my clients. And one client in a particular is very lucrative! I wonder if I should tell the lady I work at the store with that I can't help her out for a bit? I don't know...*frown* I hate leaving people in the lurch. Sigh...but right now I have a client that is supposed to be mailing me a pdf to work with, but I have to be in the store by 11...how am I going to do it all!?!?

Oh well I may complain but I LOVE doing all of this! I am so glad I left my job in corporate hell!!!

I GOT SHARPIES TODAY! I don't mean those nasty black, red and blue ones...I mean all the pretty colors of the rainbow!

I use them when I sketch out logo designs! I am so excited to crack them open. Now when I show a sketch logo to a client I will not have to say..okay envision this blue line is purple...because it WILL be purple!

You have to rejoice in the small things...otherwise life will get terribly boring. *nods*

I decided to upload something of what I really do, rather than just my for fun photographs. I am a freelance Graphic Designer and I finally got around to uploading some of my work.

I am really proud that I set out to do something and am on my way to accomplishing it! I graduated from college with a degree in Graphic Design and New Media, then I went to work for a company in their Marketing department...I HATED it! So I left and now I have struck out on my own and have started my own business!!!
So far things are going great, I have a lot of clients and even had to turn some down! I just hope that things keep up this way, then I can buy a small loft and hire some employees instead of working out of my home office.

I will be posting more as time allows, I really have been busy with the workload and I never expected that I could actually do what I loved and make money with it.

Oh does anyone know of a good tutorial on how to make your own fonts? That is something that I never learned and I would like to do that instead of always having to contact people to ask to use theirs.

I have logged on for three or four straight days in a row and all I have seen are people posting journals with links to help so and so in their dire situation. Not to sound cold hearted but unless I actually know a person in the flesh and have seen their situation first hand I am not giving anyone money.

Times are tough right now it's true! But if I was really about to oh loose my house and my belongings, or be evicted or have my car repossessed....whatever...I would not be sitting on DA blogging about it and whining! I would be out pounding the pavement, going to every business available and begging on my knees for work.

I work as a freelancer now and a part time store clerk and I take odd jobs whenever I can, all to cover rent and bills so that I can have a semi comfortable life. I work hard for my money and no one is going to convince me to give it away becuase some person in a blog says they need it more than I do. Chances are that yes they may be right, but what some trusting sweet people on here seem to be forgetting is that there are people our there who would rather beg than work hard. And even those who are scam artists who need no money but ask for it anyways to pull at our heart strings.

All I am asking is for people to please be careful when donating money personally to someone, chances are they will accept it buy that big screen TV they always wanted (oh sorry I meant "pay rent") and then turn right back to you looking for more and more handouts.

Just to be clear this journal does not apply to those who just come out with it and be honest. My camera broke and I am selling photographs to get a new one, or funds are low right now so I am selling off my work to make things easier. That in my opinion is okay, because the trusting soul donating actually gets something...the other way well it's just all faith that the person on the other end of the receiving line is honest...and from what I have seen and experienced...that does not happen a whole hell of a lot.

I need some tips on how to get the shots more crisp. I did the best I could with my camera set on sports setting with a low ISO and burst....I know a tripod would have helped, but I need to get a new one, mine is too heavy to cart around.

PS: I got a belated birthday present today! A BEAUTIFUL new telephoto lense....so be ready for an insane amount of Oklahoma Bird pictures coming your way!
