So, for the first time, i actually made a deal with an online art store to offer a signed and limited print of my work, and this will only be there, and not forever. So i was wondering recently if i should create a second account for my photos (i post one a day on Flickr so you miss a lot), cause not everyone here is interested in it. Swimming Under Clouds is progressing smoothly, and i hope it will be what you're waiting from me!

The game is wrapped into some moving story about lonely kids and how they can overcome their problems to meet friends. But it's also a classical old school platformer, rather arcade oriented. There is a balance to find between the story telling and the gameplay.

Just a little journal to tell you i didn't stop my videogames art lol, even if i must tell i'm not as motivated as before. I'm like that, i play with a new toy some month (years) then i have to do something else ! What's up ??

As you can see i changed my avatar, to begin some viral marketing for my game, obviously ! It's the sprite of the game by the way, just a little smaller for the avatar.

The game is going smoothly now, and you can be prepared for some real old school platormer, no puzzle time-warp-thing gimmick there. Just dexterity, exploration of multi-path levels and fun !

About my art, i've had less time obviously but i hope i will be back with something soon. At least, you'll have the Castle of Illustion art today i guess.

So, the situation with ARC evolved, as they finally contacted me.

It seems all this is only matter of little confusion and communication problems. They told me they will put the art back, with the credit it deserves this time. There are sometimes little problem of coordination between different society when working on such a website.

I did some noise cause there was no contact, but now that they contacted me, everything is right as it should have been in the first place.

So, here is a little story about how editors can go wrong and have so little manners regarding to their fan. I didn't want to make noise about that at first, but they handle my case like a bunch of ass and it's worth and worse, so fuck it.

ARC Europe organized a contest on the cool gaming board NeoGAF (http://www.neogaf.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=faca76fcf2e94e01fc6f2a25b6d48837&f=2). The goal is to ask artists there to do a boxart for the european release of BlazeBlue. They stipulate that the entries can be used on some form of promotional thing, or in the manual of the game. So i have a lot of mail asking me about buying the original paintings, as in canvas painting. Of course, i have to disappointed them by telling them there is no such a thing, as i work digitally.

But a friend told me about some eventual way to give this opportunity a go. I could do a limited (like 10) number of numbered ans signed copy of a work, on a high quality material. Maybe even a canvas print. That would be a private sell obviously, nothing standardized.

What would you think about that ?? Some people interested ?

deviant is kind of dead those times for me. I red somewhere that a lot of people have turn their back to the site. It's true that people evolve and also that i based my popularity here on Naruto fanart, so many have probably lost interest in me !! It's a fanart -_- It's a photomanipulated fanart, so if it's copirighted material, you have to delete the fanart section of the site, or the photomanipulation section when people don't list 500 sources for all their reference pictures in each of their manip -_-

Their is no copirighted material in the picture and the samus sprite is traced over an official model with new colors, and even different design...

Just some news here. it seems the FFVI wallpaper is a succes on IGN Insider (they told me.. lol !) My next work for them will be a Kid Icarus picture. i'm already looking for what style to use in this case ! After all, the original game hasn't really an artistic style !

i wanted to thank you all for the support on my videogame arts. The deviant art community, NeoGAF board and blogosphere (from US, Brazil and such...)has really made my art visible and appreciated among the gamer's world.
