Earlier today (or, well, technicaly yesterday, but whatever) I took my PSATS. It's a silly test, I know, it's a practice IQ test. but it got me thinking, I'm growing up, and it's not cool D:

I still remember the days after school rushing home to watch Pepper Ann, to read the latest book the school librarian (my bestest friend in elementary school |D) reccomended. I still remember the name of my first crush, Paige, and my favorite things to do when the cable or power was out. What kind of woman I would marry when I grew up, and how happy all of my kids would be when I grew up and had them. I remember the days of going down to the creek, and playing with my best friend Sean. I remember sitting in the dirt, gameboy in hand, trying to fill up that poke'dex, getting frustrated because I never found Oddish in blue version. I still remember waking up every sunday morning at 6:30, so I wouldn't miss a minute of the Weekenders at 7:00. I remember bringing my favorite BeyBlade in to school with a tupper-ware bowl for bey-battles before school started. I remember going over to Paul and David's house every few days to play Yu Gi Oh, and get my butt kicked. I remember having the same class all day long, and getting to skip homework on my birthday for 100%s.
But worst of all, I remember the days where I begged to be older, and I could share everything I learned with my kids.


All good things have to come to an end, I know, I know. But I really regret one thing about it. I was too emberassed to take pictures of anything. My memory won't last me forever, and I really wish I had a better way to keep it all.

I really am growing up, and no amount of detest, saddness, or arguing will change that. I'm past the days where I can think a girl is beautiful, and not think any impure things. I'm past the age where Dr. Suess books should entertain me, and I should be ready to move on. But... why?


I'm 15.

I'm having a midlife crisis.

Am I the only one who finds the ironic?

Uncle Troy and Aunt Brandy had been together maybe a year, and both had been happy, I thought.
Troy lost his job, so Brandi kicked Troy out of the house, that they had to sell. Auny Brandi is moved in with her parents, and things are looking to go even farther down hill. I can't even imagine just learning about what the world could offer, and then going through a second divorce, and a second financial struggle that hard.

Blake (Brandi's 6/7 year old son) and Hally (Brandi's 5/6 year old daugher) aren't geneticaly TRoy's kids, so they probably won't be able to see him for a while; if ever again. They're good kids, why would anybody put them through all that? TWICE!

Seriously.
I feel horrible, not only for Brandi having the hard living conditions, but also to Blake and Hally for getting to hear "No Christmas this year"
I just don't understand. Why should I get to sit in a heated room, with a nice laptop in my lap, when they're in a cold garage, with nothing more than a roof over their heads?

"Black Lake Lodge from Condemned 2: Bloodshot is arguably the scariest level in the entire game. You need to investigate a dilapidated hunting lodge in the mountains that's been abandoned for decades. But first, while taking a detour through the derelict Service Station you find the mangled dead bodies of SCU members everywhere. You analyze a severed arm and find out that not only is it covered with saliva, but the saliva has hints of hydrophobia — and hydrophobia is the advanced stages of rabies. So you press on through the cabin, and look through a hole in the wall while walking up some stairs...only to see a SCU member BEING MAULED TO DEATH BY A HUGE RABID GRIZZLY BEAR with blood caked to his fur and strings of drool hanging from his jaw. The very last thing you want to do is continue, but you must, and as you enter the open space of a garage area the bear crashes through a door on the other side of the room and you're given a new objective, which is "RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!" The bear pursues you relentlessly through the vast cabin, even following you UP A STAIRCASE, before you finally end up in the upstairs storeroom and discover a wounded SCU member who gives you a shotgun with only one shell left to blow up some propane tanks next to the bear and send him back to Hell. But even this doesn't kill him — you just black out, hear him mauling the poor SCU guy and wake up in a bloody pit in the snow, from which you escape to the main lodge. Oh, just a TOUCH from him and you're treated to an extremely horrifying "game over" screen featuring the bear knocking you to the ground, standing on his haunches and roaring, mauling you and finally literally BITING YOUR FACE OFF or RIPPING YOUR ARM OFF. Eep. Not even the movie "The Edge" was this scary"
