As of late I've been really getting into digital art. My latest submission is the result of an experiment I did in Photoshop. Other than that I have a few photos to upload. Expect more updates more often this summer as I will be experimenting a lot with Photoshop and Illustrator.

Its been an interesting year so far. I have been keeping up with a lot of projects and school. I have many projects that are half done, some that are almost done, and some that are going to be started over and redone.

I am currently putting the finishing touches on a bunch of photos I've taken over the last four months. I really feel good about this batch. I have 14 regular deviation to add but I also have two series to submit. One, called Butterflies, is of my trip to the Fredrick Meijer Gardens. The series contains 9 photos. The other, A Journey Through the Eyes of a Forgotten, is a series of 4 photos depicting my emotions through some rough times I've had the past 8 months. It feels really good to get these emotions into my art.

I've rearranged my room and set up a wireless router and am now using my awesome new iMac! I love it so much! All I need now is Photoshop....if anyone has a mac version of it laying around or knows how to pirate it please gimme a call.

Tom- We need to photohunt soon! We'll have to work around our work scheduals but this is just something that needs to happen.

Zack- Photoshoot. Lets do one on my next day off/good day for photos. I'm thinking this Wensday.

Andrea- I'm excited for you to come home! We should deffinately get some canvis and paints and paint on the beach like we said we were going to do so long ago!

Bre- We should start planing our painting! <3

Matt & Addie- Hehe...I've sorta put you two in the same catagory...We should photohunt as well. Addie, you always teach me something new about photography everytime we photohunt which is a great help!

So now I have upgraded to the Canon Powershot A640! It is 10 megapixles, has a 2.5'' LCD flip screen and 21 shooting modes, including a manual mode where you can mess with ISO levels and stuff. Theres so much to this camera its rediculous.

I feel like I'm learning everything over again but its very exciting. I can't wait to go out on a proper photo hunt.

My inspiration might be returning...

I got my new computer, a brand new iMac, the other day. Its amaizing. I've been working on coloring a drawing I made. Its coming along nicely.

I've also done some other things in the past week, one of which may turn into a new painting.

I really want to go on a photo hunt though. I uploaded all my photos the other week and none of them were anything I'd really want to do anything with.

I feel and art attack coming on. And I'm excited!

Well I am now happy to say that I am going to revive my manga! I am going to start all over. I have finished the story in my head. I am going over it again and looking for holes in the story.

For the past few days I have been working on character designs, making my characters look better. My style has definatly improved but I haven't drawn for a while so I'm a little rusty (nothing a little meditation won't fix though).

I am venturing to the craft store for new penciles, paper, and maybe some new pens. I am undecided if I should ink my manga or do it digitally. I'm a novice in both areas. I'd much rather do the inking process digitally but I need to know how! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have almost finished two traditional peices. One is a clock which I have painted with acrylics. The other may be more fan art but its a life sized Keyblade made from card board and paper mache. When I'm done with it I'm not sure if I should post it in Fan Art or Traditional. Suggestions anyone?

I am also loading about 90 photos into my computer so I have some more editing to do. This will be my first fall with my camera and I am excited. As I said, I love the fall, and I want to capture its beauty.

I hope the fall will be a new inspiration for me.

So a couple of weeks ago I came to the realization of how much I enjoy painting. I loved working on my first painting Giraffe. I've learned so much this past year and ow I want to take what I learned and put it to the test, if you will.

But what to paint? I've been thinking about it for weeks. I have a couple ideas in my head but I haven't really decided on anything yet. But it will come to me. So last weekend me and my friends went to the Kite Festival in Grand Haven. It was an amaizing experience. There were so many colors and shapes. It was a photographer's wet dream. I got some great shots which I am currently working on.

I always have at least 2 projects going at the same time plus my photography. Right now I'm working on a chalk pastel peice that I would love to post when its done. Submitting traditional work is always very exciting. I also want to post a shot of the mural I worked on.

I have also decided that I will post my photography in bulk, like 10 Deviations at a time. I did this just the other day. It takes me a while to finish things. I'm a semi-perfectionist.

But my next project will be my manga. I am in art class three hours a day and I am going to work on my comic as well as a mural.
