1. i have a problem with fears. lack of them that is

2. i have a half broken rib (since my 6th year i think) that grew out fine. it's in one piece but you can feel it by touch. also had a piece of glass (tiny) under my right eye for 8 years, and then it went out by itself. no blood or anything like that.

3. throughout my life i was somehow either waking up at dawn, of going to sleep at dawn.

4. i'm almost never late (yuck! that's bizarre!)

i have a nice tv card. yes, i like to have everything on pc

only one thing wrong,
the $#@$!!$@%! made it without the external audio cable (that goes into pc audio card input). that makes it transfer audio stream inside pc via copy 1's and 0's... which on most tv software makes a small but $#@!$%$#! noticable audio delay, eg. you see a person speaking (or to be precise, you only see mouth moving) and then you hear what was said. grrrr.

i found out that mplayer can play tv without the audio delay, but you have to start it like this:
mplayer -slave -quiet tv://$channel -vf pp=lb -tv driver=v4l2:device=/dev/video1:chanlist=europe-east:alsa:adevice=hw.1,0:amode=1:audiorate=32000:forceaudio:volume=100:immediatemode=0:norm= PA
simple, eh?

so... i made my own gui for editing tv channel list and changing them (read: software that acts like tv remote). and it works!

moral of the story: being a geek is useful, but can cause a lot of wierd looks from people.

anyway, i'm listening to fear and loathing ost. that is not the kind of music i would normally (or to be precise, almost ever-never) listen. anything that went into shuffle kinda sucked. i've put this cause i laughed (aloud, which is funny, because i was alone atm) on remembering the "bats" scene when i saw the title. that should explain my new signature also.

come to think, my k/b is also logitech, and so is my mouse... i think i'm getting some h/w fetish (and of course, all my logitechs are mostly black

... i put stick-it note on my monitor which reads - buy "to-do" board. that is soooo lame.
... the end of this year is coming near... and that is good. this year sucks.
... gotta find time for books.. my problem is that i consider a heresy to read just a few pages a day, especially if a good book is in question.
