Who Am I ?!

Name: Pedro Almeida, aka "Otelcana". Born in 1975 in Portugal.

Art, Sports and Guitar allways made my life complete, my imagination has been my best friend since kid, drawing and painting are my window to dive right in it. Self taught, i tryed to learn with the best works i saw along the times.

Also had and still have a thing for sports and martial arts wich made me grow up with some different vision about life, after some time training in "dojos", now i change my training ground... surfing the waves with friends whenever i manage some free time.

Besides this two different ishues about me, there's also room for music... wich made me a solo guitarist... ( some musical scraps in [link] ) i love to rock but also like almoust every kind of music with or without words.

And all this stuff have been the biggest confusion about what i would be when growing up :] sometimes i wich i just had one favourite thing... i could improve only one thing and dedicate all my efforts to it... but i guess life has too many good things for us to explore.

So i decided that sports and music should be my hobbie. Now i'm a Concept Artist, worked in 2D Animation as keyanimator and also have some experience in 3D Animation, i'm also a Storyboarder and fantasy has been ever present in my imagination. Always had 2 or 3 different drawing styles, maybe versatility is one of my strong points. I like to create new stuff, new ideias, and i am always happy to listen about new projects and meeting new people.

I'm working in Concept Art at the moment, book Covers, Illustrations and Concept for games, i also do some game design sometimes, and always love writing adventures or comics when i get the chance.
