It's been awhile, I must say. A good few months since I last said a peep out of this journal or page. Been an interesting few months, moving around messing with classes, other communities and the like. Huge about of messages to sort through also. Finally settled on a major and minor of poli sci and history, loving it to bits and making grades without trying. Most successful semesters I have ever had at uni level. Premed is a distant memory now, thankfully. I couldn't believe how much a glutton for punishment I was going through that, not to mention the waste of money and time.
In the matters of art, I've taken a long break from it until I found the source modding community. Been skinning weapons and the like for the people out there, plus getting free web space from some of the more pro people in the community, nice bunch of people they are. Quite a nice change of pace from this place, nice to see new faces I would never run into here on dA. I might post some of the screens of my skins/compiles in due time.

If I make a new journal entry, knowing me, its only for needed things or "important" ramblings.

Last week I had a wonderful system failure, my hard drive would not boot. I had to take the last resort and have it taken in to be "professionally" tested and worked on. There is a chance that my HD is borked along with a number of PSD files and gigs of personal data collected over a year and a half span. Right now I'm waiting on the final verdict as to whether my HD truly is dead, or some odd internal system shitfit is occurring, or, this is some cruel joke.

All I can think about now is losing a psd file and my firefox profile.
<cut text="Read on...">For those that wonder, I've been at it full board at classes and such. No time for art, since creativity comes when nothing academic is to worry about. Don't think I just logged out and left the site, that's a bit drastic even for me.
I invite you to come and stay at #DigiBrush if you're in the market for critiques, comments, pointers, and insight into digital works and painting. At this point, the room has grown with plenty of helpful and experienced artists there for guidance or a nice conversation. </cut>

My last project is still on hiatus, till I have the proper time to truly finish this thing off.

I have to say, this summer has been possibly the most recuperative I've had in a long time, issues on this site aside. I'm already trying to get ready for 8 am classes all week for the next few months, but I have Tuesdays off, which, most likely will be a study time. I'm planing on submitting my latest project sooner rather than later, so I don't get too stale with working with it.

Anyway, I've decided to clear my head about this whole issue with dA, and allow time to progress with everything, after all, the actions will speak louder than the angsty teens shouting down everyones pages, right?

Oh, and if you haven't noticed, my deviations are all out again, ignore the deviation counter.

I have moved my gallery to storage till I can feel confident about the stance dA is going to take, and I hope they will make it work out.

This summer is going to close down before I know it, and its best to use the time while I can. Firstly thank you all for the support on my latest piece Stability, I appreciate the input and all those that have given help through the progress.

I'm wanting to start another new piece, not a plane just yet, something more organic. I've admired botanical scene and illustrations of birds and alike, and want to give it a go. Just something to get me into branching out and learning. There is no sense in blocking out creativity and exploration just for security.
What plans do you have for the remainder of this summers year?
