This month it will be Mark Rothko. a russian jew living in Amarica. but i won't say no more because it is a pretty long biography whit a lot of details; have fun whit it and let me know what you think of it and this club. after Tree full months we have 26 members and 548 pageviews.
is this good or bad, i don't know. but what i do know is that I have a lot of fun doing this; not only i learn a lot from abstract painting, i meet new abstractpainters whit sometimes breathtaking works.
so thanks a lot you all and spread the word about this great club!

this month the abstract painter is Malevich, zo check him out! because more abstract than him isn't possible! he is the painter of the black square!

it is already the 7th of the month, everything is going so quick. an because it is the 7th of the month there is a new abstract painter in the spotlights. this month it is Piet Mondriaan. I knew he was going to be difficult because he has so many works and so different ones. so it was really hard to pick just three of his paintings. so i picked my 2 favorites (the grey tree and the broadway boogie woogie) and 1 to illustrate his style.

i hope you will learn something that you don't know already and have fun whit Mondriaan.

This club will be a place where people who love abstract painting come together and learn more of abstract painting and share their thoughts and works. but also where you can help eachother if you have a problem whit a technique of painting or something like that. where can you do that i hear you asking, well the answer is simple, just on the devious comments offcourse.

every month there will be some information of a famous abstract painter, about his life and work. you can find this in the deviants, those will be only texts. whit paintings of those artists.

the favourites will be very good abstractpaintings on deviantart, but not the most popular, we are very critical and will take only the best. if you think you saw a good abstract painting just send it to us in a note and will see. so YOU can choose the favourites of this club too.

than we still have the scraps, this is the place for all of your works, you just send us a painting in a note that you like and we will put it in our scraps.

But now the most important thing:
-who can be a member?
-how can you become a member?

well, this is very simple, everybody can be a member!!! if you love to watch abstract art or if you make it.
and the how part is also very simple,

1) BUT you have to watch us
2) and also need to put our icon in your journal. very simple ha?
