I love doing portraits, God I wish I knew about these cameras long time ago... hehehe.

Anyway, life is still - well, life. Ups and downs, things are looking a bit better, I'm currently working with a home entertainment company, and have some fun stuffs.

Yes, I'm all hyped up with my brand new dSLR Olympus e-500 with twin lenses, 14-45mm and 40-150mm. If it wasn't big and quite heavy, I'd hang it around my neck all day just to show it off hehehe.

Nah just kidding.

Well, to start off, last year has been quite a dillema for me, I had to make certain choices and certain changes were required.

I have changed jobs, now working with my uncle, in buying and selling cars business. Work is quite steady, although the pay is very fluctuative. Unfortunately, for me, it never fluctuated high enough .

Well, now I have a great camera in my hand, I'm taking up digital photographying as a new hobby. (It's been a hobby for me for a while, but I don't have the tools to do so... so now I have, I'm gonna learn all the crap I can! Wish me luck, m'kay!)

And HAPPY NEW YEAR 2007 to everyone. Lets hope this brand new year will bring all the greatness together, and well, at least to me.

I wish things would change more after a year was through from my work place. But.. nothing much has.. and it's getting worse actually.

This holiday season might not feel like a holiday at all. I still have to work, and have a shitload to do to take home.

Nor does my country is in a very good status, finance wise, I don't think I'd have much to spend this X'mas season.

Well, I hope all will get better. And I'm saving up to buy the new Windowblinds 5.. (Yes, I have to save for a $19.95 software, screw you! ). Due to the fact that the currency exchange is a bitch.

To all my friends, I'm slowly, starting to pick up doing art-stuffs again, but this time I'm with a friend to develop a website. So I hope you can give some informative critiques to my newly submitted work as this will be used on an official website in the very very near future.

I would like to wish everyone a happy holiday, merry X'mas, and a wonderful new year next year. I might not get a chance to write many journals, so I'll post it all now.

12 sept 2005.. I'm now officially 24 years old..

I feel old.

Nothing special happened this time, I guess it can't always be special can it?

Work is extremely busy and taking all of my time. I miss posting things here, or just chat at #hell, and I miss submitting new works too.. I just can't find the time at all.

I hope they all will change to the better soon, pray the best be with me.

My project is finally done.. took me longer than I expected, but turned out better than I expected. So all in all, it's a great way of spending my time hehe.

Well it's kind of akward for me to not submitting anything for days...

Probably for my friends too, as they may be bored to see me putting uo a least a deviation a day.

But, currently I'm working on a larger project that takes up alot of time, will probably finish in 3 days or so.. hopefully not more. But I don't think it will be less.

Wow yay! I won the first prize on =darkmoon3636 's contest. It's been a fun competition, it's been exciting and scary too at the same time (because all of the entries are very well done).

I really like how that turned out.

Okay, I'm learning to create more pixel arts now, they are so fun to make.

And from a few critiques that I got, I don't think I'm going the wrong track, just need further improvements, and hopefully I can do something good like many of the pixel artists out there.


And oh, YOU, yes YOU, if you have any pointers on how I can make good pixel arts, or if there are ANY tutorials about it, feel free to leave me a note, or comment on my page, I am really looking forward to improve my skills.

I think since I joined DA I been wanting to do alotta stuff, first I wanted to make avatars, now I know how, and I think my avatars are getting okay... I wanted to make emotes... now that my emotes are okay... I want pixel art! And A HUGE pixel art too .

Soon I will want to take up photography.. but well cameras are not cheap, and I can't find second hand ones back in my country... o'well lets see whats gonna happen.

I really like how that turned out.

Well I'm new to devart anyways.

But I'm glad that I have been learning enermous stuffs from here. I started off from making simple stupid ugly look avatars, and now I can make GIF images that are more.. uh... complementable than the rest of my works previously.

I greatly appreciate the help of Sylverin for helping me discussing some programs, and let me use some of his ideas...

The people in #Senior chat is also a great help...

Thanks to @Azildin, I managed to get a free 3 months sub for being a runner up on his avatar contest... I'm so happy about this and unfortunately I have not met him to say thanks directly.

Also to all my friends, and especially firstfooter, for being my first DA friend! , and who appreciates my work more than I do.

And not to mention, I would like to thank all those who gave me those favs, it makes all the work and learning a far greater pleasure than I expected.

Well, work is taking up most of my time, I got promoted a few days ago, and now I have my own room.

It's pretty nice I think, pretty spacious too, I got my own 7x7 meters of space (not sure the exact numbers, but I can put a bed in.

Too bad I can't put a bed..

O well, just when I was having most fun creating things and submitting them to DA, another thing comes up. I guess art has never been my path. I loved art since I knew how to use a pencil. I used to draw and scribble all over (literally), used to draw so much, and some of my work even went to exhibitions (yes I'm actually very proud of it), but then most of the time I always donated my works to people who really liked it. Or I just donated it to my institution and let them hang it on a wall or something.

But my art-life never turned out well, my parents wanted me to do something business-sy, instead of arting (ironically, my dad is an architech, and my mom is a jewel designer) and they want me to do business stuffs.. and well down here in Asia, fullfulling my parents wish is something I am obliged to do. So I took up economics, marketing and such.

Turned out that I'm not a very bad sales person at all, I excel pretty good in marketing and broke my company's record 6 times in a year. Then I got bored, the passion for marketing died easily.. now I'm managing logistics, and now I just got promoted to being a senior manager. Behind the desk work is never very entertaining, nor the company I work in. But, they pay okay nonetheless, I hope everything goes well here.

I hope.. one day I'll be able to pursue my art-ful wishes.

Maybe that one day won't come true, but there's no hurting to wish for it.

Thanks to Keren-R, who actually gave me an inspiration and showed me how a pixelated angel wing look like, made me realize how awful my wings were. It was plain ugly..

Now it's much better, but somehow I still don't think it looks right? Maybe too bright? Oh well...
