lots of em, musically I have lots to do, we are doing lots of things for lots of people these days, producing & collaborating, creating & distributing.
1 Rap album for 2 dudes, 1 trip-hop collab for one, a chiptune remix collab for a friend, and potentially a glitched beatboxing thing with bill.
Plus my new album moth signs is wrapped up and ready to go although itunes will likely not see it for another few months because it is horrifically slow on putting shit up.

artistically I am currently working on a major project, it is my first back after a very long break from drawing, and it is surprising even me, it is almost finished if I can just find thetime to finish up a small piece of the back, although not much, will be very tedious & time-consuming and I have been putting it off.. xP
After which I will be starting another commission piece right after for another guy, that one should take less time as it will be a drawing I am more at liberty to change, this first one I amworking on is so absolutely specific, everything is exactly as it was instructed to be done. Very precise. The next will be more of an artistic piece, less of a product piece so to speak.

Also I play Second Life now, and as probably expected, I am a clothing designer & builder, and I think it would be so silly to put any of my products up on here, but that's exactly what they are is art, as each piece is hand drawn, and molded..
I am learning a great deal about digital design, and it's a pretty fun hobby I guess lolz

I quit damn near cold turkey too.

So I've been a helluva lot more productive these days.
Also my sleep schedule is all messed up still...
I can't get back on track, I cannot seem to sleep at NIGHT, and be awake during the DAY, it's seemingly IMPOSSIBLE now..

Not doing much art, least not anything serious, out of paints you see, and drawing takes up so much of my time..
Main computer is down (still), relying on one unsteady desktop, 1 decent laptop that is always on the move, and a very unstable laptop with too many glitches and not enough space.
So art is at a standstill pretty much.

But music is rampant.
So many tracks will have been turned out over this computer meltdown, and even more ideas.
Luckily when one aspect of creativity falls short, another will always take the lead.

I'm working on a new song.
I've created fall, in one song.
I am in love with it, and it will take some time yet to finish it, but I am in a really good place musically, these days.

Artistically, I've been exploring various different outlets, and discovering new talents in each that I do.
I'm really enjoying the process.

Last night I watched this documentary from HBO called "THIN", you can find it on youtube, it's in 11 segments, but is only 130 minutes long.
It follows the lives of 5 anorexic/bulimic women while in eating disorder rehab, if you will, and it was remarkably good.
The women were typical, selfish, and mostly childish, but it was less focused on their personal lives, or statistics, and more so on the daily struggles of the disorder. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner.
It was pretty good, and I would suggest it if you like to watch stuff like that ya' know.
Personally, I've always had a bit of a morbid fascination with people who vomit, WILLINGLY.. ^.-

Got my last.fm subscription back this morning, so I am listening to more music again.

Playing less Rappelz. (Trying to)

Read up a bit on Proust, and found out I will most certainly enjoy his works.
Going to the library tomorrow to check out a few books.

Well..
I've been away for awhile, huh?
And will probably be away some more still...
But okay, to make (several) long stories short..

I became rather ill, and thought perhaps my kidney was going to explode, turns out, I lived (surprise), and I continue to have two delicious kidneys remain intact. (YUM!) ^^
Directly after that, my wonderful ulcer returned, WITH A VENGEANCE, and put me out of commission for 3 days, before I FINALLY got some medicine that worked.
It is completely painless now, although I am on a STRICT diet of pretty much nothing but salad, eggs, chicken, & veggies (mostly just a lot of CORN though...), and I have to take a pill everyday for a long time, most likely.
After that, of course Pear Eyes had lots going on, & my aunt from Idaho was in town, I haven't seen her since I was 7, and it was a nice treat. It turns out she is f*ck damn hilarious, and likes to SHOP, so she must've brought me 25 purses from idaho, she sent them in a package to arrive when she got there, so now my kitchen floor is littered with a bunch of purses I will most likely NEVER use..
But she's great for sending them
Now, here's the catch...
During this time I was out ill (forever!) I came across this terribly addictive FREE mmorpg called Rappelz from gpotato.com, and I of course have been playing ever since. (almost NON-stop)..
And Shawn & Andrew are on too, in my guild, so I doubt we'll ever stop playing..
I haven't drawn more than a doodle in DAYS, and I am trying to pry myself away from this damn ass game long enough to get any creativity back at all..
It's hard.
I want a Yeti card, and I just can't stop until I get one. ^.- <3!

But yeah, so, that said, I best be off, the servers are back up now haha! ^.-

I plan on taking a day off VERY soon, and behaving like a human for longer than 10 seconds, so I will surely drop back in soon.

I've noticed I've always got a cup of coffee in my hands, at my desk, on the go, all the time it's there.

Well I've got a show tomorrow.. Today.. I guess.
It's a private function, fans can't get in..
But it's going to have like 45 guests attending vip, so it'll be fun.
We're painting & playing our music & selling cd's, as per usual.
We're giving the painting to the lady whose party it is, but I will take pictures of it beforehand, so no worries, I'll post it.
I'm kind of excited. ^.^
Trying to go to bed early tonight..
But I sort of suck at NOT drinking coffee, and NOT staying up until 8 am..

Saw a bunch of pictures of Greece Annie posted today.
It's pretty there.
And apparently warm..
Lots of tourists litter the landscape, but the architecture is absolutely stunning.
Spiral staircases and arched windows, just great scenery.
I guess olives are everywhere there, and I'm really jealous of that.

Andrew started smoking again.
Ya' know it's not quitting if you just start back up again every couple of months..
He really believes, and yes he really said this to me earnestly, he really believes that drinking soda is worse for him than smoking cigarettes.
Really.
A soda a day is apparently worse than a pack a day.

ANYWAY...

Got the cat here now, she came to move in with us this week. <3
She's older, an adult cat, probably 7 or 8 years old, but is in remarkable shape, very very healthy and rambunctious.
She's always been my cat, but she's been living with my mother for probably the last 4 years or so, but now I have got her back.
She bites my toes if she doesn't think she is is getting enough attention..
I've had to start wearing socks around the house now..
Deters her from gnawing on my toesies. ^.-

Bad week this week..

Gir is dead.
Impacted cheek pouch was the cause of his demise..
Apparently PetSmart does not check these things before the sale of a LIVE ANIMAL, because the vet says he had that food stuffed up in there longer than we'd even had the little guy..
So yeah..

My ACWW game blanked.
YEAH.
I had everything in that damn game, 2 years of progress, DOWN THE DRAIN..
No reason why, it's just not there anymore.
SO I have to start all over again, cause I cannot possibly live without my fake DS life filled with animals & debt..

Well..
Got a hamster, his name is Gir, and he is most certainly the most adorable little rodent known by mankind..
He has this great little quirk, where he can roll himself up into a perfect little ball of fuzz..
And he boxes your fingers when they are intruding upon his personal space.
He is quite active at night, and plays in his wheel, literally, ALL night.
A good buy, that one.

I, personally, do NOT have Health Insurance, & due to various circumstances, haven't had any since I was 15 years old.

I CAN'T get sick.
Because if I do, I cannot pay for my healthcare.

AMERICA IS THE WORST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD

This documentary will open your eyes as to how bad we really have it here.
In France, they have free healthcare, with house call doctors (also free) that work 24 hours.
In England, healthcare is also free, and you are only charged $10 (american) for pills, any pills, any number of them, and only if you make enough money that you can afford them, and are under 60 years old.
In Canada, healthcare is ALSO free, and even in
CUBA
healthcare is free.


In America, we are dying, because we cannot afford healthcare costs, and those of us who can, are going bankrupt because of it.

I mean, C'MON!
Okay, artful poses, and whatnot, the meaning behind something, I can see that, that is certainly fine, and pornography has it's place in this world as well, but I just do NOT understand why EVERYBODY thinks they have to take their tops off to get a little love here..

Yes, sex sells, it will certainly grab your attention, HOWEVER, I am sick of seeing ridiculous photos of god knows who, some 14 year old girls, taking off their shirts, and posing in front of the mirror in their bedroom, just so they can get a few hits on their pages.
This makes me sick.

THIS, is what I am seeing all over the place.
It seems that no matter what it is I search for, this is what I get.

People, this is not art.
This is a desperate attempt to get some attention.

Too too much Kids In The Hall..

So a lot of work had to be redone recently, for the record label..
The server crashed, and we had to reformat my computer.

All the back-up artwork is still okay, but all the new stuff I had going, has been lost forever..

Saw 28 Weeks Later.
Was good, but very dark. <--bad lighting choices..
And didn't really feature a whole lot of zombie/rage/infected folks a killin' & a eatin'..
Just a bunch of army folks a bombin' & a gassin'..
It did have a few pretty good scenes though, but the whole thing with the dad was drawn out a bit too long for my tastes, it just seemed a little ridiculous after awhile..

I would have to say, all in all, I liked the first one better, but I'd still pay money to see the new one, if I were you.

My trip to Oklahoma.

This weekend, it was imperative that I take a short trip to Oklahoma, to pick up a salty vehicle that makes me look like a thug or pimp of epic porportions whilst driving.
An '82 Oldsmobile Braugham... If that is in fact how it's spellled..
Saturday morning, Shawn, Andrew & I left at 11 am, drove through Nebraska, Kansas, then into Oklahoma, with a time of arrival at nearly 11 pm.
(since Andrew's car is not quite up to par, our mach speed was at about 70, and his spedometer insists we were fluctuating between 90 mph and 110 mph..)
Almost 12 hours of driving.
Awful.

After this, all we wanted to do was sit and watch mindless satellite, however, as it turns out, no matter where you are, or how many channels you get, there is always going to be nothing on tv.
So we watched Pleasantville, then Antz, on VHS, and fell asleep. (on a very uncomfortable air matress, might I add..)

I woke up in the morning to the sounds of cars driving away, as the folks we had been staying with (Shawn's mother & grandmother), were off to work early at almost 10 am.
I proceeded to get dressed, and gathered my things, and we were off, getting out of there around noon.

After a short, and rather bizarre breakfast (involving several hicks, and a couple of inchworms), at a nearby IHOP, we were on the road again by 1, and began our excursion back home, a trip that was harsh and unfriendy, indeed..

As we approached Beatrice, Nebraska, Andrew (who had been following Shawn & I), got pulled over by an incredibly nice lady police officer, who let him off with a warning.
Well, since our dear friend had been pulled over, we had pulled over as well, about 30 feet from him, and turned on the hazards.
Unfortunately, as Andrew drove ahead, our headlights (which are permanantly stuck on brights, btw), wouldn't turn back on..
So there we are, stranded on the side of the road, with a cop only so far behind us, and our friend nowhere in sight, with some 100 miles or so away from home. No cell phone. No hope. It was frightening..
Well, the very nice police officer did come out to help us, and although we never did find the fuse box, the olds suddenly decided it would work once more, and voila, we were on our way again, with no Andrew to be found.

After this, driving to a nearby gas station, we asked a very nice spanish gent if we could use his phone, and called Andrew. In the meantime, during this entire fiasco, I had peed twice, once on the side of the highway, in front of a cop and several cars driving past, and then again, in an alleyway near the closed gas station, which of course, had a lovely little security camera that obviously caught all of this on tape..
*sigh*

Everything turned out okay in the end, and we got home just before midnight, and passed the hell out..

Now here are a few notes that I found to be rather interesting along the way, which I will list in order of state, and regret to inform you that I shall not elaborate any further..

Kansas notes:
01. Llamas. <---LOTS. EVERYWHERE. weird.
02. Rock Stacks. <---It is my hope that these actually serve some sort of purpose, although I have my doubts..
03. Sac & Fox Police. <--- The "Sac & Fox" nation, mademe giggle, and prompted a couple of pictures and a video along the way.
04. Indians can do whatever they want, including the placement of cartons and cartons of cigarettes on the sales floor of many gas stations.. <---very steal-able.. It made me wish I still smoked.

Oklahoma notes:
01. Pecans. <---People in Oklahoma are CRAZY for pecans. MAD CRAZY. They're everywhere.
02. Shacks <---lots and lots of shacks. (actually Kansas had quite a few as well..)
03. Okies are just as ignorant as everybody thinks they are. No offense. (but it's true.)
04. COON CREEK. <---really.
05. Red Dirt. <---This just makes me sick. I cannot believe the dirt is actually red, bright red. I have never seen this before, and it was quite a shock. Obviously, this makes everything in Oklahoma red too..
06. Loose dogs. <---all over. LOTS of them.
07. Carney, OK <---a real place.
08. Jealousy Junction in Payne County <--- also a real place.
09. WORMS. <---too too many of them, just falling from the sky..
10. Composting Toilets <---really really gross, and weird. Big breezy holes in the ground with a big nasty seat on top. Oh gee, what a wonderful invention... Not so much.

We also made sure to market across the sates, putting up stickers and vandalizing every gas station and rest stop with our big black markers of vengeance, speading the word of GOZomb!e Records and bands of electronic influence.
