He is much, much bigger than Gregory, and a lot less well-mannered. Gregory liked to hang out peacefully on my ceiling, whereas Edmund (or Stewart) rather demandingly crawled over my wrist as I was drawing.

So needy. (He also gave me a bit of a fright; I admit I let out a bit of a cry at being snuck-up on. (In fact, snuck UPON, since he went over me.) =0Scion0 understands these sorts of things. Being snuck-up on is not nice!

He lives in my basement, so I assume he'll do better than Gregory (who was living in some area between my bedroom and the bathroom before my brother introduced him to a most unfortunate (and watery) end.

I haven't seen him today, though. I do hope he's all right!

The restaurant that my friends and I go to for bubble tea has now become a murder scene! I can't believe it... Two men were shot inside after some sort of altercation. The murderer shot two men and fled. One of the men was shot in the face, dying instantly. The other was shot ten times (he died shortly after arriving at the hospital.)

Although there are 15 witnesses, apparently none of them HEARD anything. The music was too loud! (Kari, Steph... Remember how we were discussing that? O.o!!)

Although this happened three days ago (early Monday morning at around 2:35 am) I'm still pretty shaken up about it...

Kari (snoozing_kitten), Steph (m_mqueen)and I had been there just over 24 hours earlier, living it up and browsing through their awesome magazines.

It's a truly terrible thing...

I can't fathom how this could have happened. It wasn't a dangerous place... The police don't even think it was gang related! The only issue I've seen so far (other than the obvious murders) was that the place had no liquor license. That means, that, if they can prove the killer was drunk - there are going to be some serious lawsuits for the owners of the Karaoke Tea Bar. =/

My first thought was "Oh my G-d, I hope none of the servers were shot."
My second thought? "...Man, I'm going to have to find another Bubble Tea place now."

Keep yourselves safe, and don't argue with strangers. Why bother being angry with someone...?

Look out for yourselves.

I am not one for politics. I can't even keep track of the politics of my own house or country, let alone this Jark business.

Well, now that I'm looking over everything and sort of catching up, I don't think it's even at all possible to *pick* a side... I mean, they wouldn't have fired Jark for no reason, but it doesn't seem to be fair for either party. And this whole thing about depriving the DA community of any uploads, journal entries and whatnot for the whole of DevART's anniversary?

Yellow Day... Hm.

Bleh... I probably won't end up posting anyway (because I'm hella lazy) but still... I don't even really understand what tore the community apart. I feel pity for both sides.

As far as I can see, with jark being fired from the administration, the public has only promoted him from sacrifice to matyr. (No offense meant to any religion or person there, I wholeheartedly assure you.) He is being presented as a victim. Whether or not this true, of course, neither I nor you have any chance of knowing. It is entirely possible that he may have comitted an act that goes against all faculty regulations. On the other hand, it is possible he has only been ousted because of administrational (?) differences.

My plan?

I'll be playing this by ear.

I have decided I will not join a side. Yes, I will be one of those people in cyber-limbo, neither good nor evil - just there. It is in my personality to always know both sides of the story as best I can before I make a decision. Some would call it beating around the bush. I call it being informed.

Whatever happens - whether jark returns to an honorary post, the other admins return, all of the current admins leave, all of the people involved disappear entirely, or another more obscure thing occurs - I give my best to all parties involved.

With such a large community, a crisis such as this is unavoidable. Hopefully deviantART will come out of this all the better for it, and not as an injured bird.

I was supposed to be writing the lyrics to a song for a competition on Friday put the two guys I was working with decided to but the words from a prayer to it instead. =/ I've got no problem with the prayer, it's one of my favourites from the one we do at temple (it's pretty. *_*) But still. This comic, "Swift Dagger," is also insanely adorable. <3 I'm not sure if it's shonen-ai or not, but it looks fairly shojo-style. ^^ [link] .

Of course, there are all my old faves like Megatokyo, [link] , Arcana, [link] (that one's been cancelled, sadly T^T), and RPG World [link] (everybody-friendly, no yaoi/yuri/hentai or really any romance in this one. Well, maybe a bit. But it's not scary. XD

Christmas Holidays are soon, and it's Channukah (which reminds me that I have to go and light candles; oops.)

Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Treasure of the Black Abyss. It also has Keith Richards playing Jack Sparrow's father. Now, I'm not quite sure who this fellow is, but I know he's got quite the impressive following, and has quite a few songs (one in Goldmember, I believe, I think that was the only movie I recognized where he'd had his music played).

Anyway, this week has been fairly crazy. My parents are out of the country, I'm staying at my friend

's house, (she's out horseback riding at the moment) and I've had four different projects handed in this week.

It's not just that I'm lonely, or that I've got a lot of work (that's sort of common.

). No, it's that nothing's been going right all week. You know those days when you wake up, and you spill milk all over your shirt (or coffee, or toothpaste, whatever) you have to change, find out that you have homework left over for first period, realize you've left it at school, find out that you're now going to be late for school because you spilled milk/coffee/toothpaste all over yourself, and then end up running to school and nearly bowling the guy you've had a crush on for six weeks over, who proceeds to tell you to watch where you're going and not run around like a maniac?

...No?

Oh. So it's just me then. XD~!

Whatever, it probably wasn't that bad in reality. It just seemed awful. Every day has been like that. X_X I don't really want to bug you guys with my problems though.

You guys are too nice for that.

I swear, this entry wasn't just about that. I also wanted to let you guys know that I'm (hopefully) getting a scanner soon and will be able to scan pictures.

I already have one inked and coloured too. (Ooh, I love pencil crayons. >_O;; I really want some more prisma markers. Really.
