World Update:

For those who havnt played for a while, heres where the current world of Paper is up to... The DA version has been updated!!!

To the far east we have Castell (Fortressed Island), with progress still to be made on the Waterfall.

To the far west we have Jahr (City in a Bottle), focus is going into the large palace at the far end of the city, and the start of the Crypt (TombKings & Egypt).

But, to some extent, it has always remained (for those of us with deep imaginations) relatively mundane and almost realistic.

So, decisions have been made to bring WoP into a more fantastical setting (somewhat inspired by Age of Mythology... lol). Including mythical creatures, deities, etc... the full works!

For those of you who know (probably only liz), Some concepts of the old Dragon Stone ideas are coming in here too... haha

In other news, i bought 's psp (thx!) after finding out that psp has a flash player on the later version.

Due to the limited controls, WoP cant be released on psp, however im quite keen on making some WoP-spinoff mini games which i will make available to download

New update on DA. I cant remember what mightve changed recently, so heres a recap:

New mounts: Turtles, Camels...
New non-mount creatures: Bears, little skinks, more fish.
New scenes: Start of Jahr, and its desert. Maybe Lamon too.
New npcs: Ranged guys. Just a couple at the moment, but there will be more.
New game features: Merchants, gold, ALCOHOL! Maybe some herby leaf thing too... lol..

But yeah. Lots more to come. So go play and give me feedback!

Chests - check them out. Yes. They DO open. Go figure.

Merchants - Quite a cool new feature, you can finally buy/sell items to people. Its kinda a crazy system, but as of yet it doesnt have any actual faults..

Drinks - This was most of my yesterday morning trying to get this to work Yes. Alcoholic drinks btw, not Soda. Just remember to drink safely, and dont drink and drive! (lol...) [ EDIT: ] The drinks are sold by a man in Jai City, last house by the sea. Go check

Ok, so in the new Warrior of Paper version - Solka City has been more or less finished off.

Druids have been added. Let me know what you think of them

And the hermit also. Need to add a couple more of these guys round the place..

Since Solka has been finished off, work will start back to the East/Left side of Paper - going into Lamon, the floating viking city. Should be interesting.. lol.

We now have a random non-rideable deer in Solka forrest, as well as a mountable Stag.

A pitfall trap, of which there should be many more to come, including a falling log and the like.

Also, back towards Jai, there have been added a couple of crabs (pretty funny) and two sharks (hammerhead and blue)!!! How awesome is that?

Note: The penguins and seals have been updated so the screen refresh doesnt cause them to skip/jump back to life. Just makes them a bit more tolerable

On the horizon: Solka will continue to the West, and on the East the floating city of Lamon shouldnt be too far away. Also thinking of adding in a couple of random Lobsters/Crayfish...

The island left of Jai, which is to be home of the city Solka. Very forresty, with lots of expansion and excitement to come over the next couple of weeks. It does lag a little, but it is still very playable.

A rideable Wild Boar - this new mount is kinda Asterix & Obelix gone Warhammer Orcs & Goblins... lol. Check that out.

Some new artwork, NPC's and other cool stuff should be featuring soon.

Also, as a point of notice, Warrior of Paper has a myspace account now thanks to [link] , so feel free to check that out and give us some suggestions

Items. Use 'p' to pick up items. They can then be accessed through the menu screen, or by pressing 'i' for inventory.

Boats. There is only 1 ride-able boat at the moment, to the left of Jai (the small 1). Press 'd' to drive when standing near the center.

Saving/loading - i think thats been mentioned...

Missions - there now are a couple of completable missions which do actually work . Check it out.

Some more mounts - waterbuffalo and a stingray have been added
(note: the stingray was added and uploaded the same day Steve Irwin/ Crocodile Hunter died... coincidence?!?!)
