Like I've been thinking the same thing about DDR characters for a while, but nobody can really interpret them well and the Neuro characters are much more developed. That, and yanno Yako looks cute with like most of the guys in that series. xP I'd imagine they'd at least have Neuro (nowai), Sasazuka ('daww), Ishigaki (surewhynot), Godai (yay~), and Higuchi (you know it could happen). Can't see her with any other dudes, unless you wanna promote crack pairings.

Uhh... something else Neuro related... I forgot. I did buy some doujinshi casue I found some cheap, I found some G-rated, and cause I'm stupid. xP

It's a story about a demon who meets a hungry hungry high school girl and they become partners in being detectives. It sounds cheesy, but Neuro and half the cast is BLEEPING HOT HOLY SNAP. xP And the characters are just lovable. :3 No, Neuro and Yako don't make out... xP But in the end, they... *spoiler*

The convention, in a nutshell, was pretty bleepin cool. I spent so much money on useless junk, but about half came from artists which is an accomplishment. :3 I'd list off all the junk I got but I'm sleepy andimsupposedotbestudyinglolz

Karaoke... had its ups and downs. That's basically the biggest highlight of the con, for me. That, and people actually recognizing my obscure cosplays. Casual karaoke got delayed and was in the chatterbox lobby. But better that than having the sound drowned out by the concert which was apparently monster loud. The dudes who ran it were nice, though. I hogged the mic... kinda feel bad for the people who didn't get to go. I was prepared, though... I had like six songs I wanted to squeeze in through the whole weekend, brought all my junk, too. It was kinda a blur regardless... both karaokes were late and I was half/almost entirely asleep.

Idol came around. I was part really disappointed but part really really happy. And now I'm all, screw it, it's over so why not just be pleased with the darn thing. xP I really, did not agree with the judges... but I did get to sing Yamato Nadeshiko (the pretty version that no one knows) and they seemed to like it (before the other contestants got on stage, anyway ) If you're bored/interested...

Cosplay victories... cosplayed as Devil Zukin and brought along Rage-sama (I'd get a picture of us but I changed my mind, unless someone wants to see with faces censored out xP ) and cosplayed as Shana while eating melon bread. Booyah~
Didn't get to taser anyone as Shion, though. Ah well. My cousin made that costume and it is pretty. :3

... then after that, the magical convention disappeared and I was back to my boring life at school. Trying to catch up in all my classes after that unproductive weekend.

I have been inspired to finish my Sanji/Atsuko animation. Still looking for voices for both, justthrowingthatoutthere. xP Only criteria is that Sanji sounds hot and Atsuko sounds like a girl. Which is why I can't do either.

Although my voice is really low but borderline nonexistent right now because I lost the fudger at work after being sick for like a week. This is the weirdest cold ever, first my throat hurt, then I got stuffed up, and NOW I've lost my voice but my throat really doesn't hurt. Usually it's like cold, throat, then voice. Duuuhwut.

No, I really dislike a lotta stamps. First, there's those anti-stamps that usually anti- something I'm for and usually in some rude way. Then there's the stamps that are rant on pet peeves like "comment before you fav" or something oddly greedy.

Ah, but the fun ones I've seen recently are the people who have stamps but do the opposite. Like I'm not saying any names and I reall hope the people I'm talkin about don't see this but "whatever" if thay do, but I seen a person who anonymously favorited my picture and has like a "I comment before I fav" stamp. I mean, I like favorites/promotion/whatever and Ion't mean to gripe, I just find it ironic, especially cause too many other people gripe about it. And then there's some "I ONLY support canon pairings BECAUSE I RESPECT THE CREATORS" stamp used by a GakuLuka supporter. Hahaa, I love GakuLuka and that's how I found 'em, but there is no such thing as Vocaloid canon. Gakupo and Luka aren't even from the same company.

And on that note, I HOPE people get creative with my characters if I ever make my manga. I mean, Ion't WANT to see certain stuff, but I want people to have fun, so long as they don't start deeming pairings canon and ruining the fanbase by breaking out into debates when you think you can prove a pairing that was never really proved *cough*teentitans*cough* But er... yeah. I respect fans' ideas. I'm a fan, everyone's a fan.

Quite a long impulse rant, but eh. I really dislike certain stamps. -_-

Flippin art is the only class I'm good at and it suffers cause I keep having to study for math and not-math-but-should-be-English-cause-the-foreign-teacher-needs-to-learn-grammar/spelling-and-Paper-is-a-grammar-nazi. An accent is one thing but this dude has been teacing a while and students suffer a tad when more than half of them get confused and the dude mumbles a lot. >_>

Yes, I do have that online class, which, like now, I constantly forget about and therefore I'm a tad behind. Programming, I might get good at so long as the tests don't wind up hard buthopefullytheyreeasycauseicanreadthema terialathome. xP

School's on Monday. I hate Comp. Science but they're giving me moar tuition this year. Could still be a waste of books is I switch to art. Eh.

I watched/read some anime/manga that I wanted to rant about but I sorta forgot what to say. Nightmare Inspector is neat. Peach Girl is shoujo-y addictive and on YouTube right now. Neither is half as hot as Wallflower.

I er... obtained Gakupo. The voice program itself. I suck at it. xP

The Wii Fit Balance board is mean to me.

I wonder which is the most realistic... Wallflower, Kodomo no Jikan, or School Rumble. Very very very few people have seen all three, though.

Ninjatown is an awesome game and the cutest game in the world.

Well whatever they were, they revolved around the convention last weekend.

I'd've made a big deal about it earlier... like yanno, back when preregistration was cheap, but I didn't decide to go until the last minute.

It pretty much rocked. :3 Random pictures, improv that was actually funny, fake gunshots, and Mr. voice actor Chris Patton (Ranmaru, Greed, and look him up if you wanna know more xP) was there. I like never go to VA panels or autograph thingies cause there's always a bleepton of people but there weren't a lotta people and he was funny so it was kewl. I forgot to compliment him on Ranmaru nooo~ D:

But yeah. Recovering from a Zero overload... dunno if it's quite over yet. xP

Mm... not a lot to say. Got both addicted to Maple Story and Audi for a little bit again, and got bored of both. Whooo.

Spearminting with lineart is fun fun stuff. x3 Takes forever, but looks spiffy when you're done.

A problem I'm having with my manga besides drawing background is making fancy panels. Actually, I'm having two panel issues... one is the lack of creativity and stuff. They look too American.

The other is what direction I should go in. From what I've seen, an American artist can't publish a comic in America unless it's written left to right. By instinct, I keep writing right to left. Which always puzzled me to begin with because Japanese people read left to right just fine. Eh... I don't really like left to right but I might change to that anyway...

I've come to the conclusion that my diet is a pile of crud, especially on weekends where I eat nothing but pizza at the arcade. xP And I never feel as healthy as most people. It's something I should work on.

I started trying to draw parts of my manga and went for like three close-to-consecutive hours drawing it. My arms hurt like crazy afterward, but they feel a tad better now. Someone needs to yell at me to stop every hour or so.

I need a good way to scan this cause it's like almost a foot by over a foot long. o_o Well whatever the dimensions are, they don't fit into my scanner and I suck at scanning pieces. xP

Wii Fit is rather fun in small doses. It's something active to do in between breaks in art, but it's not as intense as DDR. Sure, it may not be worth forking some-boatload of money for the balance board, but to each their own. I like it, unlike some hardcore gamers. ^^

... for some reason, that makes me wanna add that Wii Music sucks noodles and should be pirated or not played at all. xP I've mooched off it from friends (most of which got it legally) and, well, it's more inaccurate than the once-broken Drummania machine at my arcade. xP

Uhhh. Summer is nifteh. :3

It's uh. Squishy. The one I ate was, anyway. Not bad, especially if you get over the weird smell of onions and whatever the eff they top it with. But uh... it's like they left a midget tentacle in each one. It was hard to chew and didn't seem edible. You're really supposed to eat those...? o_o The fact that you could still see little suction cups on it made me wanna go vegetarian for a day.

Mmm... been scribbling and doodling and my sketchbook is in fact full besides one side of a page. xP Darn it... need a new one.

Ah, in the midste of all the spoiled brats at my arcade, there were these cute little kids that like made my week. This little girl came up and was all like "may I please have a pony" and I was like "asdfjkl; take 3" xD Srsly, on top of those cute little manners, she asked for my favorite prixe outta everything. x3 I totally thought it was gonna be a good day... until a party checked in later and we were flooded. Ah well.

Honestly, if you know anything about DDR and watched his videos, you'd wtf. He upped an AAA, an AA, and an effing B. And the B song was the second easiest one. His mods are different on all of them, too.

I flamed him already, but take note of the fact that my comments do not appear. They have somehow been deleted and I am angry.
And one of them wasn't even a flame... I just wrote the name of the original person that uploaded the video and then "that is all."

This fudger needs to suffer a bit.

And the worst part of it is, I can't report it.
I can only report something on YT if it infringes some copyright or other. Which, seeing as I don't own DDR and I didn't record myself in the video, it does not. :< All we can do is leave him alone or hassle him. It turns out that Wii Sports outsold the Mario series. Yes, according to Yahoo, it took like two years and they have indeed solf a bajillion copies. Or something. And they're like "well before you say 'it's bundled with the wii that's cheating' (which I was totally thinking) remember that one of the mario games was bundled with some consoleorother." I forget. This article is some days old and I'm too lazy to look it up again.

And I am outrage-ed. Sort of. Wii Sports isn't even fun. xP

I made Zero in The Sims. Fun crud. His face looks old and crusty but his hair totally says "I'm 23 and hot." xP Fished out Rage, Alice, and Devil Zukin and I've been playing that for a while. 'Tis addictive, but repetitive. Oyeah, Sims 1 because you can't edit crud in Sims 2.

Because those are my awards and they are rigged. xP Rage, Decus, Viral, and a bunch of others were honorable mentions for guys and Zukin and Shana for the girls. They all rock. And I am forgetting a lot of guys. And Meta Knight is disqualified because he's been fangirl'd over for too many years. xP

Girliest man was definitely going to Zero, although Gakupo was almost gonna get it. xP Apparently, I have a long chain of girly-anime-man obsessions...

I was driving through this big effing not-quite blizzard but the loser snow-plow people hate my house and none of the streets were plowed right until I got to the busy ones. On the way there, after like two hills where my brakes were being dumb, I went up this midget hill and started swerving like a psycho. I gave up and let like three cars pas me while I pulled out my phone.

"Insert Smartchip."

FUDGE YOU, PHONE. -_- It said that yesterday and my dad and I thought we fixed it but I~ guess~ not. So there I was trying to open my phone with that picture of Zero-fanservice on it when a police car comes out of the blue and asks if I'm stuck. I say yes and he offers to block the road so I can back out and try again. Then I made it up and got to a busy street shortly after, where I followed a snow plow half of the way to school. The giant fog it left behind was sorta blinding, but as long as I followed a five-second rule, I figured I was good to go. A number of streets/lanes were closed but for the most part it went well.

My phone is now named Zero because it is pink. And maybe if I curse at it enough I'll stop fangirl'ing over Zero. xP When I got home, my dad did a little more to fix it and it works better. But what kind of lame manufacturer makes a phone you have to fix with tape?

My trig final killed my day. :< But what can you do now? Bleh. Live~ and~ learn~

Oyeah, then I had lunch with my buds.

But the final still ruined my day. Boo.

In other news, I once again forgot what happened throughout the week. o_o

Speaking of America, some people are just dumb. All I hear about now is bailout bailout bailout. Iono. I can't come up with a logical solution, but I think some (not all) of these people need to shut up and face the fact that they are screwed. And more importantly, prepare handle it themselves rather than depend on money from the government. I mean, I don't like the idea of giant companies dying and bleeping up our economy (of course, probably due to my location, this recession has yet to affect anyone I know personally...), but you can't keep handing out money to people who never pay it back.

Mmph. People need to think stuff out more. That applies to pretty much everything.
Which reminds me, I was playing this game today with my buds and they were telling me I was thinking too much when the object was to blow stuff up. Lulz?

Holynoodles. I was thinking about story mode in DDR and how awesome it COULD be if they had GOOD voice actors. I started thinking about getting voice clips from anime and trying to match them to characters. At least for Yuni, and after Hayate is released in English, I might steal one of those characters for Alice. Emi could be pretty generic. Akira may be hard, but he seems doable. Not that Steve guy... he's a bleepin great actor, but Akira's clone from Big O doesn't act much like him, imo. I think I have someone in mind for Zero... and I have two for Rage. x3 I will never settle on a Zukin, though. :< Maid or Devil, for that matter.

Last night, after a horrible dream about Disney Channel people the night before (although I will go ahead and admit that hugging a celebrity was rather kewl...), I had a dream about effing Zero. He was pretty Zero (2D and everything ) and he poofed from my dream about a minute later, if that. Yanno... when people just leave a scene and no one notices they're gone kinda poof. That happens too much. :<

That actually came pretty fast, now that I think about it. I usually have to be obsessed with something for over a month to get a dream.

I dream about characters frequently. Yet that whole "last thing you think about before you go to sleep" thing is crud. I try and try to get an interesting dream and it always seems to be something really bizarre.

I also had a dream about my coworkers... three of them worked at a restuarant. o_o; Wtf.

I finished SMM mode on DDR X by cheating. Used the controller for basically all of Disco's story and couldn't pass the last episode on Advanced, so I did it on Normal. Wutevar. The end picture is very cute. ^^

I have a big effing headache. I took some Tylenol and it did nothing. Boo.

I have a speech coming up on Wednesday. Bleh.

Lolz yesterday was the best day at work ever. Cause we survived. And not just barely like usual... we didn't get beaten to a pulp by customers and being understaffed. Yay~ :3

So I did decide to buy DDR X off of eBay, even though apparently no one is selling it for a cheap used price. I think it wound up costing $27 including shipping.

Song list = 50% uber fail, 50% pure ownage. I have mixed feelings.

Street Master Mode, however, is a giant pile of awesome. GIANT. Pile. Of awesome. x3 Yosh, the DDR characters finally get some stories, although some were more boring than others. I've only done Emi, Rage, Yuni, and the lovely new Zero's stories. I liked three of them. Yuni unlocked Baby-Lon... but apparently Zero unlocked Alice, Jenny, and two other people at the same time. Hooray for the new guy?

To understand the title, go watch Rage's story on YouTube. The whole thing, minus the songs, probably takes like... 10 minutes? If you have a good connection, anyway... it made me giggle. The stories are criticized for being really cheesy, and while it is, it had a couple facts that die-hard character fans would already understand (like Yuni's supposedly-nameless bodygaurd, Alice's history of a dancer, although the game says she's a singer, too. Odd.)

Again, I hafta play mooooore. o_o;;;

The game engulfed my week. I can't think of much else to say.

I found pretty photo/glossy paper... more specifically, my mom bought some and decided she didn't want it. I went on a sketch spree, but dA hates meh so I can't upload anything.

So yosh, teh convention waz this weekend. I had a camera phone and got oodles of pics. Which I may or my not share. Iono. I prolly will. The ones I'm not in, anyway. I don't have them on my comp yet, but I'll get to that... eventually...

Mm. Friday was entertaining for a bit... though I forgot what all happened. Stalked some cosplayers, sang karaoke, watched a movie made by the people who ran the convention which was stocked with Gurren Lagann references and awesome-sauce music. My friends found a Zelos cosplayer... male even. o_o;;; I think I ticked him off... :< *sad*

Saturday was psychotic. Entered and lost the Brawl tournament, which went quickly due to the fact that I can't fight (at least not on the Bridge of Eldin ) and because so few people showed up. But I won my first match this time, which was neato. :3

Went shopping for some goodies and got those random suspenseful Gachapon figures. Bought two for $10 each and for Simon and... Lagann. -_- Teh sad. But at least they go the best together. *shrug* Ecstatic about Simon, but I was hoping I'd get Kamina, Yoko, or Viral in the other one. Or Leeron, even. He's cooler than a screaming head anyway.

Cosplay contest ws... interesting. I'm glad the comedy one won comedy, cause it was the funniest skit by a long shot. Some Code Geas/ Indiana Jones crossover or other. Odd, but it wins because of Lelouch trying and failing to command the tiny boulder to stop and then getting it chucked at him. xD Though what was possibly either funnier or very was was the way they "enforced" the 5-minute-limit rule. Once you reached five minutes, ominous theme music would play and Storm Troopers would take you off the stage. Embarrassing, but creative.

Went to the dance. It started off as fail. Ditched for Karaoke. Started off as awesome. Became fail because people wouldn't SHUT UP. -_-

Okay, note here. If you come to a panel or any even where you're supposed to listen... LISTEN. Don't ignore the person up there. Unless you were forced to be there against your will. Cause we all know what that's like. even then... it's nice to pretend. Ahhh, I kid, I kid... maybe. >_>

Turns out my buds had a field day at the dance and I sort of regret dragging my cousin and myself to the karaoke by comparison. :[ It could've gone better...

Finally, Sunday we watched some AMVs after a massive delay that involved crazy stories. I opened more Gachapons and got my psycho mini-Viral. x3 Was very awesome.

And one of the highlights was the "Anime Idol" competition, where a bud of mine and three kewl girls... well, as the name implies, had a singing contest. ^^ He made it to the second round with this crazyawesome chick who sang Gackt-like music. I had a hard time choosing the winner, myself. But it turns out that he won, by the judge's choosing. Which was new, cause they normally judge by crowd cheers. Maybe it was too close? Iono. I felt bad for the Vocaloid cosplayer who didn't advance... for starters, she was a Vocaloid (Len). How awesome is that? And second, I heard what must've been her finale song at Karaoke and it was beautiful. Had she advanced, she prolly would've pwned some guts. :< Ah well. Next year, I'll have to compete with her. No I was not in this one. My pride was hurt after last year's. Or a number of reasons contributed to my lack of confidence... couldn't perfect a song cause I kept changing them... didn't practice much... sore throats... the fact that I DID take singing lessons before last year and did worse than the previous... etc. etc.

Just as we were about to leave the building, some random cosplayers asked for my pic and some other girl came by and was like "SHANA!" And I was like "YES. YOU WERE THE FIRST PERSON THIS WHOLE WEEKEND TO RECOGNIZE MEH." *hugglomp* That was awesome. :3 A couple people thought I was Kagome, cause I was lazy Yukari-Shana, not the red-haired form...

And now, I shall change out of my Shana cosplay, which almost symbolizes the end of my fun weekend. Boo.

Starting with right when I woke up.
Well, something dumb was yesterday but I'll get back to that.

I was curious as heck about TV, so I did... sigh, watch Kirby. I caught a glimpse of Winx some weeks ago and felt like giving it a chance again. Screw it. I've been feeling Kirbyful.

While the dub wasn't as much of a trainwreck as, say, Sonic X... Meta Knight didn't speak this week. Waaaaste.

Later, I realized I never learn from my mistakes. I can't tell when someone wants to be left alone or when they don't mind me around. I always choose the former, but regret it soon after. Like... now. Today, maybe it could've helped a little. Six years ago... it could've helped... a lot.

Going back to lighter notes, I got home started typing this journal. When I should be typing my speech. Mistaaaaake.

And going back to yesterday, I wrote some fanfic that I thought was good for a while... but then I realized it was rather hypocritical of my to write it, seeing as I hate flashback fics because it ruins the personalities of the character. Which is exactly what I wound up doing. But I guess if people liked it... no harm done?

Uhhhh. Can't think of anything I did good. Ah well.

It probably was once or twice, but I didn't notice it... Or I didn't have any buds to go with. :<

So we went and as you probably picked up, we didn't see many people. We started at like 9:00, after I took a trip to the arcade and about killed everybody twice trying to get a costume beforehand. Driving suuuuucks. But the arcade rawkedliekcrazy. My bud wore a Mario costume while working and I got a picture of it. For whatever reason, he had to change out of it, though . Ah well. My other buds wore hats and little silly stuff. So I did fulfill my dream of Para Para-ing as Zukin at my favorite arcade. :3

So back to 9:00, after trying to find my other bud's house. Hiked through some mysterious secret forest looking place. By which, it awsn't a forest at all... it was just dark and empty. Some grass and a couple non-forest trees. Kewl, though.

Got some minimal amount of kandy while trying to find my sister's bud's house. Found it. Got a crazyawesome overpacked ride back to my friend's house, took some pics, and then went home to sleeeeeep.

Then my work weekend started. Saturday was all right, today sucked. For everyone. D: Some chick tried to kill us emotionally. What else is new in customer service?

Wutevar. Free old food, occasional free tokens, kewl coworkers, and attempting to develop a decent work record keep me working there.

I am freaking out because I asked for the convention off but the current schedule has me up for that weekend. I will cryyyyy. ;_; I asked about it and was told that they remember me asking for it off on time and that I should have it off anyway... but it worries me. I'd be ticked if I was missing it, but now that my dad needs me to drive, I have to worry extra. :<

How does one find out if someone is a huggy person without giving them a hug? I wonder...

Ah, today I learned that Wii Music only has 50 songs. I forget how much DDR has but I'm sure it's over 50 on later games. On consoles... prolly exceeds 100 on arcade games. And about 1/4th of the song list is still rather depressing. They advertise it like it's not like "every music game" in the way that you can play how-e-ver your cre-a-tive mind wants.

College papers are swallowing my soul. Or at least they stress me out. D: And yet I know full well that if I just had these papers done now, I'd have nothing to worry about. I think it's some natural and nearly unfightable instinct to risk your grades and stress level over procrastination during your first year of college.

Whichever has the best balance of good-story and lack-of-voice-acting, I'll prolly get.

In other news, I'm a proud Teen Titans nerd. Totally knew Nia from Gurren Lagann was voiced by Starfire's voice actor. I am not, however, smart enough to remember her name. I could guess it, but Iono how to spell it. But she's kewl. She should be more cute anime girls. :] Cause they're easy to screw up and make annoying with other people...

Uhhm. Beat KSSU and supposedly got 100%. Missing the movie (apparently) from Helper mode's full completion, and I'm getting down to the suicide powers (Wheel and Suplex). Eh. Meta is seriously the hardest boss outta everybody.

Speaking of Meta, I feel like a hypocrite. Whenever the subject of Brawl mains comes up, I'd be like "you should main your favorite character, not the one who's the easiest. Geez. "

But... I second-main Falco because he is easy.
I main Yoshi because he's the easiest for me.
Mety is my favorite character and he makes me want to chuck my controller out the window.

But... I did like Falco in SF games... Yoshi has always been a nostalgic character for me, plus he's cuddly... and well, I don't have much to say about Mety, although I'll prolly keep trying. I am so addicted to projectiles, though.

So yeah. Need halp with my messages. Haven't tried other comps yet, but this is getting screwy and very annoying. -_-

Speaking of rants () I've realized I've started to suck at everything. I got tired after 1 9-footer on DDR, failed against one of my buds mroe than usual in Brawl, my Pokemon team seems to get destroyed (erwait, it always did xD), and my singing voice has left meh. It just makes me wonder, though... where did my skills go? o_o No rly. If all these skillz are disappearing, surely I've gotta be getting better at SOMETHING. :[ I think I recovered on Brawl since I thought that but the rest... eh. Need to work on DDR, especially... cause I've played for five years and have yet to gain the STAMINA to pass Max300. Dx

Got KSSU. Course "Ultra Star" would sound much cooler but whatever.

In comparison to the original... well, lemme put it this way.

For one-player, the DS is loads better.
For two players, the original is loads better.

Unless you're rich enough to get two copies. I am not. But if you had 'em, I'd imagine 2P mode rocks. Also, TRUE ARENA IS HARD. Though I would've beaten the last-spoiler-boss if I had enough health. HE isn't that hard compared to the second-to-last-spoiler-boss that ate all my health.

EDIT: Got a Wacom tablet for like $100. W00t, I'ma be broke for a couple weeks. And by "broke," I mean I refuse to spend anything after spending so much at once. D:

Going back to the title of my journal entry... I've decided I wanna save up for this stuff...

I've been browsing fanart and I see a number of people who take Japanese fanart and copy the darn thing.

It's one thing to copy it for practice or whatever, but people act like no one knows.

I've noticed that I rather dislike some people's styles of art and prefer the original more. There are some people who just have such cute/pretty art that I like it anyway, but I can't hlep but prefer official-looking fanart over... fan-looking fanart. xD Sometimes. Matter of one's own preference...

Me, I don't even know if I have a style. I've been claiming it's a Tokyo Mew Mew/ Teen Titans/ Winx fusion, but eh. That doesn't translate very well into anthros/animals/Kirbies, though.

Ahh... I should mention something on this topic...

I was at a Japanese site and it had a link to a site in English that, in three or so paragraphs said, "please stop stealing Japanese fanart!"

So I ask that you respect the artist of this site. I collect fanart for personal use, and I ask that you only do the same. ^^

They suggested that you make an attempt to contact the person, even if it's in English, but I'm too shy to do that. It seems rude to ask someone in English... like you just expect everyone to speak it without any regard to learning a second language yourself.


I was playing Max2 on the controller some days ago with my sister. We played about till we unlocked the characters.

DEVIL ZUKIN IS NOT IN IT AND I AM A SAD COOKIE.

They have a boatload of other awesome characters, but instead of red-Zukin-chan, they threw in that... ugly... creepy purple clown-thing from 3rd Mix. Scroll down to "puppets." They also have 3rd mix Rage, and while I haven't played as him yet, his face scares me from this distance. Dx Teh sad.

Howeveeeer, the song list is loads of epic and apparently you can set up three Akiras to dance at once so that game is awesome and if you liek DDR I'd suggest it. :3

Uhhhh. Oh right. College hasn't killed me yet. Definitely harder than high school and it still looks rather intimidating as they hand out those syllabuses, but eh. I guess it's nothing to panic over. *shrug* Just something to be more prepared for, I guess, for those of you who haven't been there yet. It's very expensive, so save up wherever you can.

On the bright side, I get to play my DS in the hallways and there aren't any loser-teachers to tell me to put it away like there were in high school. x] aaaand I got a new phone. It seems fragile. o_o But it's kinda kewl. Something random. Hooray that I don't have a texting plan, because texting is obnoxious, imo. Too much money and it always seems to set your phone off at the wrong times. xP

(Mainly) due to severe inactivity, I found myself in a brief surgery which will axe me out of my weekend of work and make the first week or so of college hard. Or harder. *shrug* And uh. Oh no, it wasn't carpal tunnel. Iono about you but I heard "surgery due to comp" and I go "ASDFJKL; YOU HAS CARPAL." Nah. Something with my lower spine. Prevents me from bending over much or walking smoothly. At least not it does, since I guess I have something stiched up or something...? Bleh, I haven't looked at it.

But the point is, cutting time back on your comp is im-por-tant. *nod* Although I swear this thing came completely out of the blue, especially considering my job involves an extra 11 hours of standing a week. So that weirds me out... maybe it just inclined me to be extra lazy on my days off? Dunno. So uh. Get up, learn some Para Para, clean your room, do some chores... but you do that anyway, don't you, minus Para maybe? Ah, just a reminder. Hard to think of things to do that aren't evil sports.

My room is a mess though. o_o;

I've been ticked about completely missing the tournament, finding people to fill my shifts at work, and how this has happened just before I start school and have to hike like every day.

But uh. Iono. It was weird. I was in the store getting some drugs (antibiotics and aspirin to be specific ) and this catchy song started playing. It felt like a sign. o_o Like... I can't do a lot of activities due to pain right now (or I couldn't... I'm starting to feel a little better), but I guess I can still sing. Made me optimistic for a bit. ^^

And also, I got DDR MAX2 in the mail. But I haven't been able to play it and prolly won't play it for like another week or two. D: Buuuut~ I was recently informed by a commenter that there were, in fact, dancing characters on that game (someone told me a long time ago, but I was in denial cause I never saw them on my friend's copy). I did turn it on and find that the songlist RAWKS, even if a little short (but Break Down, Shining Polaris, Twilight Zone... *drool*)

So uh. Definitely looking forward to busting my dance mat with that game. x3 Yippee~

Shana, well, SnS is the greatest anime ever. My hair is psycho long and the only reason to keep it that way is to put it to work in cosplay. Cause it's starting to be slightly annoying. And the cosplay would certainly look better than any Yoshi one that fit my budget. xP

I made a shirt out of some fabric I was originally gonna make a shirt with. Turned out okay but I can't breathe in it. Again. xD Already dismantled it before, but this time I sewed it the way my clothing/textiles teacher taught. I'm so proud of remembering that class. xD I've decided I prolly wanna be Yoshi one way or another. But if I can't get the basics down I may be skrewed. o_o

The fabric I had from years ago was to cosplay as Maid Zukin. I still have all the pink and tihs lovelylovely purple/magenta fabric that I really wanna use for the pants. But bleh. Shirt's the easiest part and I gotta do that first.

Uhh. Well, not much has been happening. After some sort of hassle, I decided to work an extra day at the arcade. Not fun, not fun at all, but I appear to be doing nothing else. o_o With that day, I have some extra money for a game, I guess. x]

I had like five rants planned. One of 'em was how I can't effing believe I actually remotely miss Eric Stuart and his Meta Knight because the guy on Brawl is just so... Iono... not fun? o_o

Uhm. Been playing some Guilty Gear. Someone said it was faster-paced then Smash so I gave it a shot. It's all right. *shrug* Certainly not a bad game, anyway.

Oyeah. I've been practicing Smash. But it makes me wonder... what will getting good accomplish? o_o Tournaments only come once in a blue moon and I'll prolly lose those anyway. So meh. I'm not sure why I still play to win s'much. It seems to backfire sometimes...

Ah well. At least it's not like a sport. Where the winners/coaches make the losers feel bad. And you get injured all the time. I hate sports. xP Team ones, anyway... and playing them, anyway...

Oright. I did hang out with my buds... on Tuesday. Rather last minute but we saw Dark Knight. Creepy but entertaining. And I guess he comes back in October. Hopefully, we'll meet up again. ^^ I'm happy.

So. I e-mailed this person about a price on making Falco's jacket. Just his jacket. His shmancy pretty Brawl jacket with all the belts and junk, but no shirt or anything. The rest of it seems like I could make it from old clothes and whatnot... prolly a buck apiece at a second hand store.

Yikes. 0_0 Now, I bought my Devil Zukin skirt from this site before and it was zomgawesomeperfectawesomeawesome. It's so soft and cuddly that it doubles as a plush toy. :3 And it's not like I'd just wear the jacket to conventions. If it's light enough, I can wear it whenever I want. x]

But uh. Geez. I'll bet loser-preps don't even spend that much money on everyday clothes. xD I'm not the kind of person to talk a price down. I feel bad. :<

My other option is a lovely Shana cosplay, which appear to be about $70. Which is nice. Shana is the grestest show ever made ever, I already have long dark hair (and I'm also a girl ), so it seems easy enough. Much less hassle and stuff. Can buy one of a few off eBay.

... but it's less fun. o_o; It would be her schoolgirl outfit, so it'd be convention-only. And I'm not to thrilled to wear a short skirt.

The jacket is almost double the price of a whole outfit (plus shipping, anyway). But bleh. Those people are so gosh darn friendly. :<

Oyeah. I beat Boss Battles on Intense with Yoshi but had no one to brag to cause my internet was down. So I brag now. Unfortunately I just tried it out of boredom and didn't record it. But like I saw that coming. xP Only did it cause Duon fired all his missles at himself. Twas funny... beat Tabuu with like 140% and was like "crudcrudcrudcrud" the whole time. x]

Incredibly cute. Not what I hoped for, though. They threw in a story with humans and I thought that killed some of it. It defeated the title of the movie, imo. o_o Hmm. I'd say it's a movie you should see eventually. Definitely better than some of Pixar's other stuff. Just expect some lame coincidences and cheap non-animated videos for the TVs. And a slow start. But I repeat, it was very-very cute. ^^

But yeah, one of the robots was named Auto (I think). I want you to roffle when he comes in, if you haven't seen it.

Wah. I had to work during a Brawt tournament and of course it had to haunt me cause it was upstairs at te arcade. D: As I was getting people's prizes and junk I could hear a bunch of "OOOOHH" sounds like it was really good. :[ Boo. But I guess that's ten bucks that'll stay in my pocket until I can manage to get in the tournament. And... lose, but whatevar.

Speaking of games I lose at, I've been practicing Pokemon. I have a team. But like. I've been too shy to battle random people. xP And some of my buds don't have Wi-Fi. Waste of EV training. xP

I hate the line between n00b and "that guy." Or girl. If you haven't seen the Zero Punctuation Brawl review, "that guy" is the person better than everybody at games and despite having skills is generally disliked for being competitive. Yanno, like sports pros.

I'm not competitive enough to even advance in tournies but I can beat a chunk of my IRL buds. It's a lame place to be.

It's on YouTube. But Iiii'm not gonna tell you where it is. Well, not everyone. It is a small convention and while I'm about as concerned about stalkers as I am that my house will catch fire in the next five minutes, it just seems creepy to post a link to. Out in the open like this. o_o;

Hmm. Yeah. Dealer's rooms need to not be so tempting. I like... wasn't even gonna go until a while and then I walk home with two new plushies and a poster.

On the bright (and dark) side, apparently, this lovely arcade I've been pestering decided to interview me for a job position. About darn time, not for my sake, but becasue they always seem short on staff. o_o; Anyway... I can't say this is guarunteed to go well, but we'll see what happens.

And I guess I wanna note that my comp is still being stupid but I can get around to most stuff by now. I just uh... shouldn't handle any money or anything important on it.

And going back to my lifestyle, of, well, not really having a life, I wanna make another Falco fanfic. Something where all the "heroes" start disappearing, probably by Crazy Hand or some villian or someone (this is why I never write chapter fics). Well. I have the ending planned out.

So okay. I started out at 8:00 in the effin morning to look for shoes cause it was implied that my sandals weren't proper attire. Then we found a salon that would straighten my floofy hair (but even though it looked pretty with a shirt, it was so flat compared to my giant gown that I almost shoulda left it floofy xP). For breakfast, I ate some brownie on the car ride home. Off to a healthy start of the day.

Got home, got ready, and somehow it was like 12:30. Had to be there be like 1:00. So a little while later, we were off.

Technically, it started at 2:00, so we waited an hour, doing the loudest most obnoxious things to entertain outselves. And the wave. Twas the most entertaining part of the ceremony; shame no one saw it, cause we were inthe basement. xD Then we has a lovely two hour graduation. Yip-de-doo.

Of course I wanted to cry. And I almost did many, many times. There was a certain someone I knew that if I made too much contact with I'd burst into tears. Maybe it was cause I prayed during the long speeches that I held 'em back and found my other buds and stuff. And was hugged by this guy I've never spoken to before. Awesome. xD I wouldn't have cared if I cried in front of ym friends... I just hate crying in front of my family. My parents both tend to try to help too much. And I dunno. Makes me feel like a five-year-old, going to my parents and all...

On top of that, God must've added a little extra for me... I wanted to get out of there as soon as I left the building but my sister insisted on looking for someone else. In the process of standing there, said bud walked by and my camera-happy family asked for a picture. Then he told me he was having a party and that I was invited, before heading off to HIS camera-happy family. xD Only post-graduation party I've been invited to, now that I think about it. For that, I'm surprised... but grateful. ^^ I was almost devastated that graduation would've been the last time I saw him... I was about to tell him something I'm sureasheck he wouldn't wanna know...

After that, we headed to my grandparents' house for some cake and sammiches. Because it's a cooler word than sandwiches. And I think I spelled that wrong. Played a smidge of Guitar Hero. I guess that was cool.

THEN my sister and buds headed to the arcade for some music game akushun. Because it's a cooler word than action. From like 6:30-10:00. THe music games are hideously loud and I forgot earplugs. No really, they're that loud... I could probably play better with plugs. xP Anyway, got to show one of 'em the joys of the arcade. And I can't believe my sister and her tried to play a game that was off... xDDD The dumb karaoke game has lame songs. Or we would've begged 'em to turn it on. Or... I would've. They have a giant Smash Bros. game set up, too. Played a few guys at that. Added the name "LOL" to the name list, cause for whatever reason, it wasn't on there yet. Stupid level 3 Game 'n Watch was beating out guts by getting half the final smashes. Dx I hate computers. And I hate their DDR machine, for making me fail Break Down before I even got tired. Well, it was a little tired, but mainly because it didn't register my steps so I tried slamming harder. Or maybe I've been playing on my Playstation mat too much...

Then we finally got home at like 10:30 ish. Did some doodles, watched some adult swim, and SOMEHOW stayed awake through Code Geass. Meaning I was finally able to sleep at like 12:30, thanks to 1/3 of a cup of Vault from the arcade, I'd assume.

And now, the first thing I can think of is that my room is a mess, and if I don't clean up today, my parents have every right to guilt me for it. So er. Should get that and some more things taken care of...

SO MUCH UNHEALTHY FOOD. NEED FRUITS AND VEGGIES. For the record, broccoli is actually good. With some ranch or cheese, depending on how you eat it. And spinach makes a good salad. I can honestly say some green veggies aren't gross. Not gonna lie like those little kids shows. Hate celery, pease, and green beans, though.

And fruit needs no defense, cause you gotta like fruit. It's sweet, juicy goodness all around. ^^

But no one recorded it. We were devastated. Dx Well, I was.

No, okay our English class had to do this assignment where we had to pick a person (real or imaginary) that has either A) made an impact or B) is the best at what they do. I chose Riyu Kosaka, in case anyone wondered. Apparently, the minute's worth of Yamato Nadeshiko Spiritsu that I sang was "the most [they've] heard [me] talk all year." My teacher was surprised. That's kewl. xD But that certainly wasn't the best one. Speach-wise, it failed. Song saved it.

I should also note that one of the requirements for your visual aide was to dress as your person/character. So I wore a tie and the stuff she wore on her Dober Man poster because it didn't involve skirts or short-shorts and was quite easy to assemble with items found at te second hand store.

BUT ANYWAY. Onto the fun part...

See, the best one was when someone dressed in overalls and a long-sleeved red shirt entered in playing a mega-classic NES theme. His intro? "It's-a me! Mario!"

He did the WHOLE thing with a great Italian accent (even when the CD was "not-a working") and even tried to prove Mario's "dead sexy"ness in ways only visuals could describe. I'd say it was school appropriate, mind you. But gah. You haaaad to be there. It was awesome. He did the little power-up jump and the jumping around and demostrated the Wii wheel (he was kinda out of breath, too )

Gawd. If I knew the guy at all, I'd pay his way into an anime convention and make him do it again in front of an audience. Yanno, it's loads easier to perform forpeople you don't know.

But it was sheer brilliance. And, well, a big boatload of fun.

You see~ Atsuko Sumita is, well, my silly OC. One of four that I keep recycling nowadays. She hada peculiarly colored outfit and I'm kinda debating it...

See this? You guys would have to color it.

If I had at least three entries, the person who just happens to get the closest to her "official" color... scheme, whatever you call it, would get a request. More than four entries, I'd give the person who colored it the best a request as well.

But I'd hafta see if anyone's interested beforehand. o_o

I could re-do the lineart... it may take a while, though. However, if you wanna color it for kicks and giggles or to guess your accuracy, feel free to print it out and use colored pencil.

A whilewhilewhile back (or a couple weeks ago xP) I rented Star Fox Assual for one reason and one reason only... okay two, one cause I heard it was a good game, but moreso to see how awesome/failage Falco was. He's like... all bigheaded and semi-mean and junk.

I took my Wii and Ess Ess Bee Bee (aka Brawl ) to school after careful consideration and planning (well, somewhat careful, anyway) cause my teacher is the best teacher in the whole wide world. x] Plus, it was senior skip day at our school, and I knew enough of my buds would show up. Cause we're deemed "geeks" and all. xD Haa, we even made our teacher try it out. Piles and piles of awesome. Quite pathetic, but it's been one of those things I wanted to do in life before it was too late... bring video games to school and have people play it. And now that there are people who LIKE games, plus a nice teacher, it ws possible. I am happy.

I am also not happy. Graduation and last-minute unsolvable issues aside, I AM SICK. AGAIN. -_- My eye's got this freakish swelling thing that may or may not be contagious. I mean it's not disgusting... it's not like swelled shut or anything, just eeever so slightly enough to cause minor discomfort So I gotta not poke it. Plus, I have another sore throat that I'm trying to drawn with water and whatever other liquid I can find...

Bad time to get a sore throat. I stopped by Audition and its forums yesterday to see if anything cool happened The lobby is now a pile of junk, but other than that, it's... the same o_0 And I'm as ruty as... rust. But no, I also found that Musicshake program. Quite a lack of freedom, but it's still pretty brilliant. *_* If you havent' heard of it, it's a quick music composition program. You put a buncha intruments and junk together to make a song.

I wanna make lyrics but alas, I can't write nor even sing well right now. Dx Blaaaah.

Oyeah, Myspace has some karaoke thing going on. But you have to pick from their songs. And their songlist is worse than Nexon Audition. Faaaaail.

With that rant, it's apparent I still have no real life. o_o I'd get a part time job, but a small part of the reson I haven't is cause they always need a reference and while my one teacher will do it, I gotta get another person. I guess I have another teacher... and the other reasons being I don't like going out much (crycry, sobsob) and I have a fear of authorities. Like policepeople. They're intimidating. >_<

Can't drive, either. You may as well stamp "fail" on my forehead.

First time I played Tales of Symphonia, I was really annoyed with Colette, and for some reason I can't remember, I liked Raine. So I chose her for Flanoir and thought she was a cool character. She picks on Lloyd's stupidity, but, well, he isn't very bright and it's funny when she does it. And yeah, she kicked him like... once. But with happy music playing, so it was comic relief. Otherwise, you find out she has anotherside to her.
It may be noteworthy that she, as I implied, is NOT Lloyd's canon-girlfriend. And everyone knows side characters are better thain main characters.

But everyone thinks Raine's mean...

First time I played Abyss (and the only full time... that game seems so much longer Dx) I of course have a natural dislike for the main character's lover. But when I hear Tear was a healer I thought "oh awesome, she'll be just like Raine! I love her already." Uhhm. Yeah, she may like Luke, she she's an emo freak who takes all her anger out on the poor guy making him turn into the nicest emo ever. And even afterhe turns nice, she still gets on his case. I think he would've killed himself by now if Guy wasn't there to cheer him up. I played the game AGAIN recently (just not all the way through) and I think I hate her more.

But everyone likes Tear...

Tear is so much more evil than Raine it's psychotic. But people see some receemable factor in her that I haven't found.
I can't say I know crud about her past, or if she ever loved anyone. I guess the liked and then hated a certain family member so that'd have something to do with her bitterness.

And the comic relief part of both of them... Raine is a complete freak over ruins and science. It's awesome. She'll be like "ZOMG CHECK OUT THESE DEAD ROCKS" and stuff. x]

Tear has a hidden liking for cute things. If she has like some stuffed animal and you catch her she'll be all "GET THE #$^# AWAY FROM ME IT'S NOTHING."

And I can't think of the worst thing Raine said... something like... "you can't linger onto the past, but you must never forget those people who died" when referring to something Lloyd probably caused. Then he gets really ticked at her or something. And she apologizes at the end and Lloyd being the lovable hero he is accepts it. The only thing that really irks me about Raine is her favorite phrase is "it's nothing." Ack.

Oh, and after that when he's all weak and brittle and says he wants to change... can't remember if he said he'd die if it would fix his mistake which wasn't even his fault, but Tear (and, er, almost everyone else) guilted him into thinking so:
"I don't think you're going to be able to change, especially when you talk about death so lightly."
And then when Guy comes in the picture it's like.

Guy: Luke don't be so hard on yourself.
Tear: Guy, Luke's thinking seriously about the issue.

SHUT UP, NO ONE LIKES YOU.

It's some faint love confession at the very very end.

The thing about love is you can't just like someone. You have to be someone they like as well. "Be" as in, naturally be a compatible person or be fully willing to change for the better.

Luke, although he sulks a lot (I wonder why...) becomes really really nice and wants to help people. Of COURSE Tear loves him. By the end, Natalia and maybe even Anise should (even though Luke shows tear more affection than anyone else... but I don't know why). That confession means nothing unless she wants to be a lovable person.

So who is more likable.

Raine...
"Well, you destroyed a town and let some people die. Learn from your mistakes you little dummy. *puches shoulder*"

Out of character, but about as bad as her insults get...
OR...

Tear...

But even the whole thing with Lucario and Aaron made me wanna cry. ;_; Hard movie to find in Japanese, though. Took like two weeks to pull it off Bittorent. Uh. Having Mew return was lame, though. But everything else about that movie rocked, imo. ^^ I think I wub Lucario now.

It was... a weekend.

Moving on, Brawl has gotten me (temporarily) back into Kirby and Meta-fangirlism. I went out and got Squeak Squad, which is, well... a typical Kirby game, I guess. Not disappointed but not wow'ed either. Needs a story. With more Meta Knight. What else is new.

I have the urge to draw/write Meta/Fumu but GAAAAH HARDEST PAIRING EVAR ASDFJKL;. It's like harder come up with scenarios for than Lloyd/Raine. Booo. But they're so cute. And the best ideas have generally been done... I stole a stash of Japanese fanart from ~ivynajs a LONG while back on KRR (few years, dunno how many)... and yeah. Cute stuff has been done. Ah well. Could just redo it.

Speaking of said person who I hope doesn't feel like I stalk her or anything, I feel the need to say after reading her fanfic Warrior's Secret on FF.net, I feel the need to hug my Meta plushie all day. That was so sad. ;_; I should've prolly reviewed it... I can never think of a smart analysis, tho. Same reason why I haven't commented too much on people's art. o_o;

Uhhh. AMV rant will happen another day, if ever. Longlong rant. I would like to ask if anyone's found a good video compresser (sp?), though. Anything I record has to be saved as a hideously large MPEG, but I can't find anything to condense it. >_o I've used some DivX thing, but it looks HORRIBLE. I'd get an example, but... too much work. xP

Suppose I'll elaborate a little more on the weekend. Twas senior prom. Skipped it. I aws depressed, but not because of prom... because of that fanfic. xP Did not expect it to get THAT dark. Uhm. Like okay, going by the short sheesy clips in Fox's scene in Melee's adventure mode, I'd say he and Falco have nice voices. Ike's is... all right.

Pit's is... really cheesy. Not unbearably cheesy, but yanno, it's weird. I didn't espect these guys to talk so much. o_o;

Meta Knight is a pile of creepy. I guess I'm a little relieved that this means he won't be screaming every five seconds like he does in the Jap version with his sword-slash move. And personally, I think "know my power" sounds hot. xD

But the thing that gets me is... well, according to most people

YOU CAN'T. CHANGE. THE VOICES.

All I know is someone at 4Kids is gonna DIE id Dedede has a Southern accent. Like. Srsly. Ion't like Dedede a lot ('sept he was cute in Crystal Shards ), but it's the principal of the thing... and my hate for 4kids. :]

Other than that, there isn't much to say, except for the fact that I hate driving. -_-
