Perché citare la famosa frase pronunciata poco prima di morire dal "replicante" Roy Batty nel film "Blade Runner"?
Sì, certamente perché si tratta del mio film preferito, perché sono un appassionato di Fantascienza, perché mi piacciono sia il regista Ridley Scott, che gli attori Harrison Ford e Rutger Hauer, e ancora perché… è una bella frase ad effetto.
Ma soprattutto perché tutti noi, come i replicanti del film di Ridley Scott, abbiamo una "scadenza": non certa, non conosciuta ma l'abbiamo.
Quindi, cosa ci distingue da una macchina se non i nostri ricordi, le immagini che conserviamo delle esperienze vissute?
Questi ricordi, queste immagini, buone o cattive che siano, sono la nostra vera ricchezza, e niente e nessuno può sottrarcele, fino alla nostra "scadenza".
Bene, mi piace pensare che luoghi come "deviantART" possano arricchire ulteriormente la nostra mente, la nostra anima, di immagini.

Yes, sure, because it is my favourite movie, because I'm a fan of Science-Fiction, because I like the director Ridley Scott, and the actors Harrison Ford and Rutger Hauer, still because… this phrase sound cool.
But above all because we, like the replicants, have a "expiration date": not sure, not known, but we have it.
Therefore, what distinguishes us from a machine if not our memories, the images that we conserve of our experiences?
These memories, these images, good or bad that are, these are our true wealth, and nothing and nobody can steal them, until our "date" has expired.
Well, I believe that places as "deviantART" can more enrich our mind, our spirit, with images.
