Guh, I've been to a birthday party yesterday... I'm underslept and got a slight hangover from cigarette smoke. But it was great

Because I don't want to bother you too much with strange stuff here my life ramblings and my WIP's appear now here, on my Livejournal. There are already some WIPs there of paintings I'm making at the moment.

2. I'm a Photoshop whore. Whichever other program I try to use I always end up back in PS Oo

4. I want to become a professional comic artist and illustrator.
5. I'm a procrastinator with a low attention span. The only things I can really concentrate on is reading, writing and drawing/painting (hence the ambitions).
6. I'm afraid of drawing on a big format. I guess it's connected with the fact that I'm wearing glasses and can't see the whole paper while being close because part is out of focus (and I don't like contact lenses).
7. I don't like being ordered around.
8. I'm an owl = I naturally tend to stay at night and sleep into the day. Early rising kills me.

Nothing really interesting to say... One thing is that I got my third, and for now last, hole in the ear, with the piercing gun this time

I'm trying to study for an exam. Unluckily I discovered XXXHolic which is eating my mind, but I have to preserve...

And, before my subscription runs out and I won't be able to post thumbnails, a little pimp.
As maybe some of you know I'm writing a story with ~n-th-green with temporary title HK (or CS in English, as it's Corridor story). And she made an illustration on something that probably won't be included in story, but will happen... and at last I got reference on two of the characters. Thing is, the picture is really, really... Ah, see for yourself

I've bought subscription for another 3 months. It means one manga less for me. Or 3 lunches. Or pair of small earrings. Or....

For the third one I think I'll use the piercing gun -_- IF I decide to do it.

[EDIT]I didn't HURT myself you know. For once, I know a lot of people who pierced their ears themselves and know what to do and what not do. And I EXAGGERATED a bit OK? It wasn't as bad as it sounds, I was just being overcautious. No, I didn't enjoy it, no I don't have a self-destructive behaviour. I don't like inflicting pain on myself that's WHY it took so long. No, there was no blood, not more than when you poke yourself in the finger with a needle. And the only reason my ear hurt was because the earring was too tight (it's OK now)
And I used enough antiseptic to kill all germs in the bathroom.

The the next day: I spotted that the other hole, that was month old and didn't want to heal, started healing almost instantly after I changed it from the surgical steel (or whatever the name's in English) to silver. So I decided to change the new one... and how do you know, it took me about 5 seconds (plus antiseptic preparation ofc.) XD
For those who thought it was rash of me... the yesterday hole looks better than the piercing gun did after 2 weeks.

Bit that STILL doesn't mean I'm NOT crazy

General info, case anybody's interested.

ONE. I have really crapload work on the university. It's seriously killing me. I am falling behind.... Maybe I should drop one of the electives, but I have already DONE and those left are the ones I want...

TIME

TWO. My gallery... seriously needs renewing. I've spend some time today deleting deviations, scrapping deviations and ordering deviations...
I would scrap even more, but then barely anything would be left in normal gallery... Because...

THREE. I've improved. I have really improved over last half a year or so. It's mostly thanks to my sudden decision to learn digital painting, which led to re-learning anatomy and all aspects of drawing and painting I thought I understood. Well, I also learned how much I have to learn
Sad thing is I don't really have any new finished pieces. I'm learning digital painting on pictures I'm repainting again and again with different techniques. I'm doing a lot of studies, but those are only sketches. I'm doing character designs, sketches... But nothing is really fit to submit into the gallery.
It did some damage to the comic I was drawing. I'm not able to continue it at that point. I've already started a second one, that goes quite well, taken that I HAVE NO TIME. I was planning to finish it to deadline that is the day after tommorow, but it was a madman's dream... ;.; Pretty reputation I'm making for myself at Fireangels...

FOUR. I have no time. Seriously. But I'm wasting it anyway XD I meand for drawing and digipainting as with the load of homework an studying I should do it whenever I don't sleep or eat...

FIVE. I found out that I'm allergic. I'm curious what I'll find out more, taking how I've been feeling for quite a long time now...

OK, if even wrote a journal...

Well, last weekend before the classes. I'm going tommorow to bring in some papers (PL indeks, jakkolwiek to siÄ po ang nazywa i podanie o warunek >.<... BLAH!

Nevermind.

I've been to ~n-th-green and we had 6 art classes. My first in life, actually XD
The teacher... was pleased with us ^^ OF COURSE we hadn't learned it until the last class...
But a strange thing came out...
It turned out than N is had more of a paintery attempt to art, while mine is more graphic/illustration like O.o I guess it's my architect grandfather genes XD You wonder what is so strange? Well, N seems to have kind of dislike for paints and color, while I'm fascinated with it (although I prefer to try it digitally; soon you'll see the effect. )

Well, what else? Summer has gone faster, than it should, because of the exam I had almost no holidays... Not to mention my gran died...I'm tired... I wish I could take 1 month worth of vacation from life; I haven't had real brake in 4 years now... that was after I graduated high school. After that 2 summers when my two grandmothers were sick and died... re-takes and all other things...

Maybe it's some kind of 4th year crisis. In Poland we have 5 years of studying, but after 1,5 year I changed it. So I'm going on my 3rd year now, despite starting 5th year of education. It seems I'm never going to finish it, not to mention Masters degree doesn't mean anything in Poland now; I may well end up being a cashier in a store... That's... pretty depressing actually. I lost my whole motivation for studying quite a while ago, and it didn't help with all the exams either.

What keeps me alive now is creating. Really. I have a comic to do, I'm learning digital painting, I'm writing... It's also very important for me that Corridor Story is written with ~n-th-green; no, it's not an Role Play, altough it started bit like one (the part we're going to re-write XD)

One more thing is that I feel I need some source of income. I AM drawing the comic, but well, it's going slowly and I have no idea if everything will work... SO I started thinking about comissions. OK, now it seems I have nothing to offer XD but once I finish the painting I will post it and, who knows, maybe someone WILL consider comissioning me XD (OK, this sounds really vain... XD Ah, F*CK IT I need some vanity, if I don't believe in myself who will??)

Hello.

Yes, another journal XD

Just need to say a few words. I'm totally worn out today, maybe because all day yesterday I was at the computer finishing a work for ~Fireangels. Come to it I must ask the publlisher, whether I can put the work here too, so to try to lure you into buying the artbook (boys-love ).
(I'm also drawing a comic and trying to study for a re-take of the final exam ^^'

ANYWAY

I'm getting into digital painting, and with it I need lots of reference. So recently I browsed around DA>hotography a lot. Few thoughts came to me.
One: In artistic nude is quite a lot of nude, but it takes time to find some with the artistic part. After quite a bit of browsing I realized that's quite much the case with most of photography>>eople.

Yes, it seems there is quite a lot of people that make photos. Of course, they all are trying, but...
Artistic nude. A lot of nude, quite a lot of people submit series of shots taken at one time. No, I know there is something like photo session; but here I mean a lot of similar ones that are not really that good. I know most photographers take a lot of photos and choose one-two, but the ability to choose is also very important.
"People" generally... Well, for one thing it seems when I find something I seek and it's quite good it's almost always greyscale or sepia O.o But that's not important now...
Another thing is that there is quite a lot of photography [EDIT: in those catherogires] that lacks artistic value. It's not only about making the shot you know. Framing and cropping the picture, the light... There is a lot of photos with a good idea but poor execution.

I'm not the one to judge why it is like that, but maybe, as one of my friends said when I wondered that most people from Poland I found on DA are photographers said: "it's so much easier to buy a camera than learn to draw".

But I wonder why in my bookmarks "to check" probnably about 5-10 out of 150 () galleries are photographers...

Still, there are good photos you CAN find. So, a little highlights from things "at hand"; latest favs and form my watchlist.

Well, it was a shock for me when I saw 's gallery. I was looking for reference with qiute specific lightning, and I got into his gallery. And for a while forgot what I was doing, simply gave some favs and a watch. You may, or may not like his style, but there's a feeling to each and every photo:

Recently something must have happened, because I suddenly got more favs, than usually (that STILL doesn't mean much ) And I just got on it, to see how many views it actually got...

OK, I DID got freaked out, but that this REALLY is about? No, I don't want to brag about... But what wonders me mostly, is something different. My main page at the same moment looks like this:
10,293 Pageviews
And as for visitors today.. there were two. (later note: according to main page. Stats state.. differenty O.o)
So... I check my main page once a while, mainly to see of there aren't any comments that need replying (as they don't appear in MC). I knew I got over 10.000 about two month or so ago. For someone who's as long as me on DA and has some fanart it's not really much. And the number isn't growing too rapidly. Well... my conclusion: barely anyone comes here. The number seemed to match probable amount of people reading my journal + favs once a while.

I can say I'm at total loss... O.o Well, I know my gallery is not the best quality, not to mention mostly OLD :/ (some images pending, but you have to wait, unless you want some "Corridor Story" pencil drawings... Just say it and I'll move my lazy ass to the scanner XD) but still, it seems strange, 8000 people visited this image (or take 6000, some might have been twice or sth.) (Wait, that still sounds... incredible O.O ) and only a tiny part decided to even browse through the gallery? O.o Or maybe there's a link somewhere, people think it's something great, but then see the image and think "eew, medicore" and go away....?
(Still, thinking I somehow got tripple 0 number of people tricked to see my deviation feels great (read: mischievous) )

ANYWAY

First thing I want to thank all the watchers, old ones, and - especially - the new ones. I thank you for checking my gallery and for deciding it may be worth to check if I can come up with something decent.

Second: I'll try to post something, and something nice, because you guys are certainly worth it. I'm finishing one colored picture, and I have some Corridor Story once...

Third: I'd probably never write this journal, if not for the fact how important the discovery is for me...
You see... As IRL for some people I seem to appear self-confident, I'm more self-confident in some things/situations and less in others, but there's one thing I absolutely lack confidence in: art. I often get stressed while drawing that something will be wrong, that I will make some mistake I won't be able to correct. That's why I have problems with improving with traditionals, that's why I so often get blocked... Recently I so lost confidence again (Remember the long art block I had? It's not completely away, always lurking around). My speed in art is bad. I get the feeling "nobody'll like it anyway..." and I lose motivation.
And then I see THIS. OK, I know, half of the people might have not liked it. Then only one third of the rest might have liked it.
But even like that... over 300 hundred people liked it enough to fav or comment. And I know not more than 30% do that on pictures they like. But that still means at least 1000 people liked the image. (comic) That was done on the spur of moment. Just for me and people to enjoy! This really seems... incredible!
OK, I know, it's obvious, you won't get far with complexes and you gave to do it with and for joy. But easier said than done, when there's not proof...
Well, I've got the proof now. I hope it'll help...

Well, I liked the book, I was afraid I would be disappointed but I really liked it. I don't want to post spoilers... Some people died, some didn't. Well, the endings are the most difficult part but JKR managed to play it right. The Snape Case was well played. Also the fact whether Harry lives or dies - either had to have a good explanation, and it does.

And ~Ja-Nin haven't read it yet, so we can't discuss it... GAH!

A little quote to tease and confuse those who haven't read it yet:

I've got my computer fixed and upgraded a bit (like 1Gb RAM... that was a surprise, I expected 500 mega... *.* I can't wait to see my graphic programs work... With 256 mega it took 10 minutes to make anything on high resolution images >.<

I just realized my last journal entry is almost a month old...

Well...
I have end of semester, the passes, the exams and I regained my concentration two days ago after about 6 month crisis... well, better late then never...
If everything goes right just about next weekend I may do some scanning of stuff that piled up for the last few months (minus last 2 of art block).
I started digital painting, and I think I may become quite good in it. Apart from the fact it takes hell a lot of time and I won't even touch it for next two-three weeks I already got addicted... I'm seeking for a program to use... I got used to Photoshop really fast, but original PhS is like 3200PLN. $.$ That's a LOT! I'm thinking of using GIMP but the damn program doesn't have freely resizable brushes... I'd have to make custom brush for each size I'm using... ;.; I also tried Photohsop Elements (sux) Painter (Got totally confused) Painter Essentials (I liked it, but realized I can get the effects I like in Open Canvas 1.1 too)...
As for now I decided to finish in Photoshop the picture I've done mostly in it, but later switch to mixture of GIMP and OpenCanvas 1.1 (apart from that it crashes for big images when I try to save in format different that Oc's own).

Or maybe you know about some other not-so-expensive or freeware programs? Anyone using OpenCanvas higher than 1.1?

OK, back to work! Gah, procrastination is BAD!

Six is it? Gosh...
1. Even though I'm 22 I still don't have consistent handwriting. It can change drastically even in one sentence. If graphology is true then I have personality problems.
2. I am unable to sleep before midday and midnight; I can sleep only from about 11:30 p.m. to about 11:30 a.m. It's a bit infuriating when you get back at night, go to sleep at about 6-7 a.m. and wake up at noon and you need about 8,5 hours of sleep to feel well.
3. I am very sensitive when it comes to private space and drawing tools. I try to keep my traditional workshop clean and sometimes I wash my hands tad too often when drawing. I feel an urge to kill, when someone borrows my pencil from drawing set without asking and with not clean hands. The same's with my computer; I keep my tablet mouse and keyboard clean. Then again, when not going out I tend to ignore my own looks, especially when I'm home.
4. I am unable to remember people's names, be it IRL or in books. I'm only able to remember nicknames
5. I don't really like loud crowdy places. Even more when there's nicotine smoke. That's why it's not so easy to take me to some king of pub/bar... (And also because of pint 2, as I live wuite far from city centre and it takes a bit of time to get back...) But I really like quiet teashops where you can talk easily and eat something sweet.
6. Yes I have a sweet tooth. Still, there are things I consisted "to sweet". My base flavors for anything sweet is "chocolate"

I know the main journal part doesn't yet look too attractive, I have to make some nice image and maybe change the colors... But apart from that I hope everything's more clear: you can easily see where the journal part ends and all other begin.
I'm thinking about making a section for DA friends, but... How long the journal can be?

The so-called long weekend has begun, and I will have time to.. study XD But I hope to move along with other things too..

Apart from that... my computer's dying... I think it's something with hardware, so it means... I must make my dad buy himself a new one, to get his old parts XD

Also, I'm getting the hang of digital painting. There's one picture I'm making, but with that speed.. I'll have it finished in half a year XD That's mostly because I'm still learning AND it's a big file (I wanted to make it more painted-style in OpenCanvas1.1, but... It didn't want to save it! I think the file is too big... Anybody had this problem?) But I'll try to make something quicker, so I could post it here too... (like past kiribian or sketches...)
There's a month to final exams, and procastinating caught up with me... This is going to be a really busy month... Still, I'd like to get a comic done and I'm trying to make a project that might be accepted for one webpage.... And there's the calendar I could try to submit... Because if I got ANY money from drawing before summer I could try to draw as a summer job, instead of e.g. working at Mc.Donalds. But I HAVE to prove my dad I CAN (not might, CAN) earn something by drawing... But then I could, at least for the holidays, make it full-time, not only when-I'm-finished-with-university-work work.

I think I've too much on my plate now...
Well, it's not that everything is something I SHOULD to, like studying and homework for University (in which I'm behind, ofc).
But right now I'm sittin with one hand on homework, one in script for comic, one on tablet which I'm using for :iruka-loves-Kakashi: contest and one.. wait, we can clearly see It's gotten out of hand(s).
Homework (well, THIS piece of homework) is due Friday.
Contest is due 12th.
Comic is due 1st May to get into this print (which probably won't happen, bit I'd SOOO wish it would.. ;.

I still owe some people sketches: you WILL get them... Just.. not now...

My biggest problem is lack of confidence in my skills... as long as I doodle, everything is OK. When I start something serious I screw it up. Like a stage fright but in drawing. I'm so scared I'll screw up the layout of the page I can't make it.

Does anybody know a way to cure this? ;.;

Layout-fright problem stays, but I hope it'll fade after few pages....

For last week (since last test) I've:
Drawn a few doodles illustrations on "J" (Story I'm writing with title temporary). [that's good]
Been sick (got better two days ago). [That's not too good]
TRIED studying and failed completely [Really not good]
Started writing script properly(IT was so messy/not precise I couldn't really draw well from it), did great then got stuck [neutral]
Started understanding okeaki [GOOD] then started to f*k up pictures [really bad]
Got back to listening Creed [Good... I think....]
Typed into coputer a lot of handwritten part of "J" [Great]
Went throught a total self-confidence and motivation breakdown (Like you've seen) and went over it (at lest most of it). [Uhm....]
Finished watching Samurai Champloo, watched Totoro, "House of flying daggers" (Which had beeen waiting looong on my HDD), read Kenshin manga 7-28, some other manga, a book ("Gringo wÅród dzikich plemion" Cejrowski)...
Lost a lot od time not knowing when.... [NOT good]
Started learning digital painting (Since I can't get my style in colorign I decided to try to do digital painting (because I always wanted anyway), bit sell-shading CG and maybe try illustriation-like unrealistic coloring (If you don't know what I mean by that... don't worry, I have only vague idea myself ) [good]
Learned that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released on Saturday, July 21st, 2007

Started looking for a summer job and got completely confused... (Anybody got some interesting info? Preferably in Europe )

If you're wondering what's the point of this journal... Yes, I'm bit confused at the moment. I changed my profile info, checked message centre... I wanted to get rid of the old depressiong journal. I wanted to work on script, but I've got a feeling now I better go to bed (sleep if I suceed although it may take some time) and try tommorow...

A few things...
One is I foud a way to brake the writig block: There's nothing like anime playing in the background^^ (YEEY for Spirited away=Sen to Chihiro(...))

Second: Yesterday I met *ellizjum*LiAiL and Kate (and ~bucozerca but he dissapeared quickly)^^ It was nice, at last I met *LiAiL in person and he was bit different than I imagined (for better, apart from hair which wasn't reallty there ). I froze my ass over comming back, but that's another story... (sudden freez attack).

Third is: ~n-th-green is comming back to the country today ^^ I admitt I missed her a lot... I hope she'll like cookies I baked today! (OMG< P's baking!)

Fourth: Recently I was looking for reference pictures for shading for one picture and for that reason I browsed DA photography. And I realised a few things:
I browsed "people" and I spotted that in "artistic nude" is a lot of "nute" but not so much of "artistic"
People completely CAN'T make proper photos. I was amazed how much of TOTAL crap is in the galleries. I decided to appreciate good photograpers more from now on... Because I haven't really watched photopraphers before. As my first victums I have chosen ~drobiazg and *LiAiL.
In the end I didn't find the kind of photo I needed. I found the shot, but it was BW and I needed colored one... crap!

First thing: I suddently got quite a few watches from people from Poland and even from PoznaÅ. I have no idea if it's becaue of my okeaki account or just other people from Poland that know me but...

Anyway...
I wrote before that I'm working on shaping my style etc. - Well, I think I'm where I wanted to get. (I'm still lerning coloring, but that's another story...).

I am completely aware, that my gallery is uhm... chaotic would be to weak word ^^' I have almost no new works... And I do have little new works that fit the gallery IRL, because of the training I made... There are some works I'm working on (as usual) but I'm geting a different attitude towards them.
I'm discerning the ones I don't like/want. I'll try to do more clean works, bit illustration-like, maybe random, but... I want to clean the gallery (which means scrapping lot of things and deleting some of the scraps>> already started). Still, I prefer to leave some more works than just strips so It'll be a gallery showing my style. Acutally I want it to be gallery showing my current style and abilities, not only past attempts... I have to emphasise: don't expect a lot of pictures suddently pooping up miracoulusly improved,, with good colors etc. - I have end of semester now () and I'm also working on a comic (but I'm working on scrpit morenow, so I can draw). But I promise more pictures weekly/montlhy will appear and I'll try to make them as good as possible; this is a long-term plan to create something portofolio-like (provided I have anything to present in it).

Few days ago I screenshoted a certain character from anime and put the screenshot on my wallpaper. The question is: who can that be???
As it wouldn't be fair if I left it like that I'm giving you a list of anime from which the character may be:

The character is male (not that it's much help, MOST of the characters in those anime are male). For people who don't watch anime: I checked and this character is listed on Wikipedia and on [link] (be sure to check pictures, looks ARE important XD). He's an important character in anime, at least enough to appear on posters/covers for anime/manga (I'm not saying if always ).
All people who guess right will recieve a sketch of choice (up to 2 people) or an okeaki (believe me, I'm better at sketches) that is not against DA policy (since I want to post them all in my journal). Since I'm better at sketches than finished pics, you may want it...
Each person can give me ONE answer only, so think carefully. No double-guesses!!!!

ANYWAY

Latetly I've been a bit... Uhm, confused. I went through a bit of art block, or, to be honest - art style and ability crisis (OMG< I can't draw, I hate my style, I can't do it the way I wanted and why I can't get even those pages' layout right???). I made lots and lots of scribbles, none of them worth showing, but I think I'm almost where I wanted to be. We'll take care of this "almost" along the way now, as I wasted enough time already.

Once again I discovered that, I operate best when I have much to do, or rather when I'm doing much. I don't mean things like schoolwork or housework here - It's more that I'm most creative when I have a few projects on my mind. When I try to concentrate too much on one thing I get stuck and can't get anything done. When I'm doing a few things I'm somehow more creative in all of them and get better results. Morover (and that's surprising) it's some kind of brain stimulation, because I get better results in studying with less studying (Apart from kanji, but it's my own fault for not spending as much time on it as I'm supposed to...).
Right now I'm working on few things, including AMV (Yup, I got so many links to anime music videos from Ja-Nin that I decided to create one.. although I have ideas for 3 or 4 more XD). I'm working on developing coloring skills. I have some more ideas on queue in my brain. And somehow, this all WORKS. The page I couldn't do layout for... I suddently planned it in like 5 minutes, changing the script a bit, and the first two panels are sparkling *.*. I stopped being stressed about coloring and somehow got more experimental and I'm getting somewhere (of course this MAY be dead end @.@). (Maybe I'll retouch the Kidchan puicture now... >.>. I got the eyes settled out (I hope).

AND I'M HIGH ON D.Gray-man! XD Haha, no, really. There's something in this manga.. and now i started watching anime... I just LOOOOVE IT! I've listened almost only the opening on my MP3. I'm not having D.Gray-man dreams YET. But I'm draving sketches of characters on lectures (Kanda and Allen - not many yet, but one Kanda sketch make Kato decided she'll watch it :] . I don't remember Lenalee well enough to draw her, not to mention the DAMN COAT).

Oh, note: My friend is seeking for nosebleed emoticon. If you know about any let me know, or else I'll have to make it >.<

I know I haven't submitted anything lately. I have some funny sketches from lectures and I will submitt them into scpars, because I'm a lazy bastard and it's faster to submit one picture to scraps than more to photobucket and then to journal...

There is also a picture I like that will be scanned and submited after small retouch (don't touch watercolor pictures with wet hands... -_-).

Anyway, I'm having a bit of style crisis (nothing new..) that is I can't shape my style properly. I have lots of probelms with coloring (more with digital - it seems too plastic-looking, I can't decide between cell-shading and soft etc. NOT TO MENTION MY COMPUTER IS NOT POWERFULL ENOUGH TO HANDLE THOSE PICS @*#&!%@)$!&$!$#!) still I'm trying to finish *ellizjum's kiribian. I WILL PRESERVE!

I'm in a strange mood... for some reason Ouran makes me a bit thoughtfull about myself and my relations with other people. Thing is, however opened and social I seeem, I show only a part of myself. People assume that what they see is the whole truth, but this is only the first impression. There are people I've gotten closer with, and they can see that I think...

Anyway

I'm in a strange mood (yup, you said that already...). I can't draw anything really. Oh, I finished the title page for wwbcomic, but it turned out stragne anyway >.> But I somehow can't get myself to do anytihng NEW. OR finish old pics either...
I spotted I start too many things that I don't finish, somtimes because I think I can't get it right, sometimes because too much time passes and my abilities improve, and I don't want to waste time on things that are already worse. And I'm doing alot of chara designing, but in sketchy form, so I can't post it in gallery either... hopeless -_-
And I'm doing things I can't post here for other reasons.
So I tried to write scripts a bit. I actually got back to making stories, but when it comes to writing it down as a script my mind goes numb. AM I allergic to script or what?????

I'm very unhappy with my room. Usually when you live in your own room ti somehow shapes to yourself.
My room jsut happened. it's just a combination of stuff that accumulated over the years. It's not that it's messy, because it isn't. I'm qute practical an organised person (at elast whn it coems to some things) with my own logic of organisation But most of my room is just a usage of space that was still free. Frome some time now I've been adding some touches here and there, but there are only two places I feel comfortable in: computer corner and... couch in living room _-_.
I guess my room is still a place for sleeping, computer and storage...

I somehow got back my inspiration to draw. I even started the comic, even though I'm not 100% sure of the ending... I can't meditate on the script forever.
For webcomic I'm doing title page, which probably will be submitter here in colored version (and there ni B&W), but it's yet to decide. I'm finishing the tarot card... Generally I'm doing many things at a time now (actively^^).

I'm also seeking for different publishers. I want to know what the market looks like at the moment. I hope the comic I'm doing now will get accepted ^^ But it's one-shot and I'm not much of a shounen-ai/yaoi author. I'd like to draw something completely different (too).
AH, we'll see. Now I have to concentrate on this comic ^^.

Today the day started quite nice - I had over 9 hours sleep, and that is something, as I lately tended to go to sleep around 2 a.m. and was lucky if I wasn't woken up before 10, and, on average, got about 7-7,5 hours sleep (under my necessar, ny, over minimum).
And (apart from all the pains - I have problems with joints) it was nice - I went to Empik and got my Loveless vol 1 - I've spend 33 PLN on this, but it's oo wroth it
Then I went to comic shop and bought... another manga.
The weather was beautifill.
I came back home.
Finished touch-ups for manga page.
And got ont he computer.
I'm not so happy anymore... tried to finish the tartot card, but
1) the tablet is bitchy. I thought battery is low, but it's still bithy with new one. Lines get crooked. Pressure sensiticity dissapears suddently. I don't know, if it's hadtware, software or both -_- Well, it's un-plug, plug-back, bit it takes time, especially that:
2) My computer can't get that much. I have 256M RAM and having eMule, winamp and photoshot seems the border. If I have firefox, I have to wait for things to settle down every few minutes. Not to mention MangaStudio really dosn't want to cooperate (required 500 RAM), and as for GIMP it's difficult to say, because it loaded picture so sloooooooooooooowwww I ignored it, and GIMPshop is uncompatibile with my computer.
OpenCanvas 1.1 works fine, only once a shile I have to unplug tablet, because it stops seeing it at all.
My good humor mostly evaporated.

I'm wondering if OpenCanvas 4.whatever (the new one) is worth purchasing? I NEED something but GIMP is out of question, at least until it stops freezing suddently. On the other hand OC 1.1 lacks some options I need. (Actually it lacks MOST options -_-).
