That's right. It's the Christmas holidays, the time of year that Patrick finds himself with nothing to do, so he must find something to do to occupy that time that he's doing nothing in.

So, I've come up with an ingenious plan to keep myself entertained, and hopefully you too!

If you have Facebook, go here: [link] and join my Facebook group, it'll take two seconds and it'll hopefully be worth it when my plans come to fruition.

If you don't have Facebook, then go and sign up now!
[link]

AND THEN JOIN MY GROUP
[link]

If this group hits 10,000 members (thats ten thousand in ye old English), then I'm going to put on a bear costume and catch the train down to the nearest city/densely populated area and wreak havoc by... doing whatever you want me to. You people who join have the power to choose what stunt(s?) I pull on the very special day.

So go on and join, fat ass. Yeah, I'm talking to you

Collect calling you every day,
Patrick.

These are two great short movies (10 minutes each) that have been made with Blender:

Project Orange - Elephant's Dream
[link]
Elephants Dream is the story of two strange characters exploring a capricious and seemingly infinite machine. The elder, Proog, acts as a tour-guide and protector, happily showing off the sights and dangers of the machine to his initially curious but increasingly skeptical protege Emo. As their journey unfolds we discover signs that the machine is not all Proog thinks it is, and his guiding takes on a more desperate aspect.

Project Peach - Big Buck Bunny (This one was my favourite)
[link]
Just check out some of the production photos and screenshots here: [link]

I just thought these were so awesome you had to see them,
Patrick.

~~~~~
A fashion is nothing but an induced epidemic.
-George Bernard Shaw
Hell is full of musical amateurs.
-George Bernard Shaw
If you cannot get rid of the family skeleton, you may as well make it dance.
-George Bernard Shaw
...To me submitting art? I'm not sure, actually. I got lazy and my creativity slumped. After some doodling I drew something that I'm working on in Photoshop, it will be up either tomorrow or Friday if I feel it's good enough.
Within the past few days I've been cooking more, at least. My favourite dish at the moment is Risotto, and today alone I've eaten about four bowls. I feel so fat but, almost sadly, I haven't gained any weight... :'(
This week coming up is all tests, exams and assignments.
Damn.
I also have a cold. Basically it's just a blocked nose, but do you know what that blocked nose does? It makes me breath through my mouth when I sleep. Not only do I feel like a caveman or hill billy, but it dries out my throat so that when I wake up I have a sore throat and a blocked nose. And since I'm breathing through my mouth I'm getting dehydrated faster which is giving me headaches.
Basically, if we eliminate the blocked nose I think the world would be a better place.
Using up all the tissues in the house,
Patrick.
~~~~~

Those who welcome death have only tried it from the ears up.

- Wilson Mizner

Atheism is not for happy people.
The usual fight happened at my place (everyone wants me to die) and so I retreated to my little world inside this box.

I usually do something like this for revenge, but this time I decided to share it with you. I don't walk up to them and shout sweet, sweet profanity into their ears. No, that is for stupid people. I use what I call "intelligent revenge". Something that will keep them frustrated and busy (and out of my hair) for hours.

For this particular instance of intelligent revenge I'm going to pick on the fact that my brother needs to use the computer next. My first step is to change the target paths for every program short-cut he uses. For example:

Internet Explorer (I don't know why he uses IE when I use Chrome...)
Original Path:
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
Path after intelligent revenge:
C:\WINDOWS\notepad.exe

It's as simple as that.

For the next step I will close all open windows and take a screen shot of the computer as it is. Then I just save the image and set it as the wallpaper, shrink the task bar off the screen and place all of the icons that are usually on the desktop into My Documents.

This is a great one as I can watch him click the wallpaper for a while and expect a response.

Now the third and final step is the easiest. I just download the fun little program called "Random Burper":
[link]
Now I've just got to turn up the speaker volume, run the program and let him on. :lol

I hope you can use this information to your advantage,
Patrick.

I went to a Neil Young concert on Wednesday night. 'My Morning Jacket' played as the support act, I've listened to their music before and I knew they were strange but when the lead singer put on a cape and walked around stage like a drunk I couldn't help but laugh.

The colossal stadium was about three quarters full during the first band, but after they had closed the doors for the second time that night the stadium was full. We had to buy tickets months ago - some time last year - and we still had trouble getting them.

The whole crowd fell silent when the lights dimmed and everyone seemed to hold their breaths. This was followed by the loudest applause I had ever heard as Neil Young and his band walked onto the stage.

He played for a few hours, which is no small feat for a sixty-something year old. Especially since he wore a black leather jacket and danced around like a mad-man.

"...Old man, take look at my life, I'm a lot like you..."

When he pulled out his acoustic guitar and started to sing, the whole audience sung along with him. Thousands of people singing as one to a mournful melody...

"...I need someone to love me, the whole day through..."

Then he swapped his acoustic back for an electric and ended the show with the most amazing performance - ever - of his latest song, this one had the audience up and singing at the top of their lungs.

"Keep on rockin' in the free world..."

Deaf and tired,
Patrick.
