10 things about my arts!

1) until like fifth or sixth grade i only drew horses. its at that point i fell in love with tai from digimon, and had to make up a self-insert. :I would i still tap that fictional ass? probably not.

2) i don't do sketches-then-lineart. when i do, or try, it always turns out shitty--i use my 'sketches' as lineart, and go from there.

3) my favourite thing to draw, as you might have guessed, is PEOPLE. i can't get enough of them. i do draw women, but men are just more of a challenge--weird angles everywhere, chests, etc. also i enjoy drawing bloodied-up mens ofofhgh.s.

4) i'm really not that self-conscious about my artwork--i have no qualms showing things i think are half-done or badly done to people; it's just my rather dirtier things that i'm like LOL IF I DIDNT DRAW DIS 4 U U WIL PRBLY NOT C IT.

5) i like drawing cute mankisses. ; ; (and gay threesomes but lol!)

6) i like colouring digitally more than i like doing anything traditionally. ugh, the COLOURS you can use and mixing them and putting greens and greys and reds in skintones makes me such a fucking happy camper i want to pee.

7) not that i ever actually do pee. it's an expression. jeez. don't look at me like that.

8) i tend to draw things obsessively. right now, it's the triplechangers. earlier, it was augustine/victor and before that it was anything involving silas/silas/owl. i uh feel guilty about it. really guilty.

9) i draw while i'm supposed to be listening to things. it's a NATURAL REFLEX. i have to d this today in my english classes or i will never survive. ever. i'll draw little raver blitzes if i fucking have to. or trainfairies.

10) i forget to eat when i draw! but that's fine because i am a little on the fat side.

since they were inventions of the romans (as far as i can recall, the greeks just had pan the goat-god and satyrs, which were stubby bald men with tails and ass ears) and spirits of untamed woodland, as their world became significantly more settled and people began destroying more and more forest where the fauns lived, it came time for them to migrate

some went north, some east, some west--i dont believe any bothered to cross the mediterranean sea

and they evolved to fit their new climates, became furrier, whathaveyou, took on different shades and hues. theyre everywhere theres a bit of dark forest people don't enjoy going into, i expect. my faun is a wanderer, came out of italy a few centuries ago, and has a magic book he tugs along with him.

ive been brooding on this and the concept of a crow army.
