To be honest, I haven't really been drawing a lot. I need to buy a sketchbook and do one of those sketch-a-day things that I see are getting popular around here. I think I just need to get a little more comfortable with posting my art on the webs (fear of rejection desu oAo).

Yeah, all that stuff i talked about in the last journal post I made like, a month ago (driver's license, eagle project, etc) is starting to come together! I went through the eagle project review board process and, although nobody makes it on the first try (revisions ALWAYS need to be made, lol), they said I came impressively close- a few typos and a materials list that didn't make it through the printer (AGGGGG ;A; ) are all I need to get this thing started! Although I did get that list out off my ipod during the presentation (yes, very professional of me X3).

As for my license, I'll be making that appointment REALLY soon... just need to find the right time and place. I'm scheduling around everything else for this. I NEED to drive. My mom is even getting mad about that, lol. My parents actually want me to drive! So that's a plus. As soon as i get my license, I get my aunt's old truck donated to me by my aunt- in SEATTLE. Getting it down to california is the only problem at this point. Otherwise, the ball of life (the earth? lol) is starting to roll. Woo! :L

SO.

On some other notes. I'm getting better at drumming, as the band director at school and his subsequent drumming coach have encouraged me to study reading percussion music. And I have become a total mangaholic. I cannot. stop. reading. manga. Even for like a day or so. Onemanga might as well be called manga Mecca in my case. Inu Neko Jump and Iron Wok Jan are my fav series at this point. Check 'em out!

Otherwise, I've been doing pretty good and all. OH RITE I FORGOT. some friends and I are getting a band together to perform at this annual fund raising concert for our school. Everyones all excited and stuff, but our setlist got cut down from six songs to three, due to lack of practice time ;_; but its all good. I get to play drummmmmms :L Although I'm more of a practiced guitarist, I seem to just be better at drumming... even without my own drumset to play on at home :iconwthplz:

We hope to keep the band together loooong after the performace, and hopefully after highschool too. I want to be famous DURHUR.

Oh. And on the drawing stuff. I'm... getting better, i suppose ^^;

Yeah so some good and bad things happened over the past couple weeks.

Bad: I'm a 3.4 gpa student who got rejected by cal poly pomona after going to a prestegious technical highschool for 4 years. wtf is that about? plus! its the only college i applied too since i was planning to go to a Community college anyways, but still... that hurt ;_;

Good: i finally have time to friggin' draw. well, more like upload drawings. i have plenty, just havent had the time (or the courage ^^;) to upload stuff.

Bleh: I think i did well on my finals (i pay attention and do all my homework and stuff, so i know my shit :B), except for statistics. the last fifth of the test seemed like greek to me T_T. ill pass though- i had a b in the class going into the final. cross your fingers for me! o_o;

Thanks to everyone who visits, it may provoke me to (someday) upload something new lol.

I went on a religious retreat over the past 4 days (tues-fri). It was with people from my senior class; they call it kairos. It was really cool, and it changed a lot of people for the better. I'm not saying we were brainwashed into uber-religious prophets that run around yelling "PRAISE THE LAWD!" or anything, but it was really amazing hearing some of my own classmates- people i thought i knew pretty damn well- speak, and tell us of things i never would have imagined them doing or having to suffer through. I'll leave out the specifics of course, since even though we aren't exactly sworn to secrecy, its more of a matter of privacy, and we don't want to spoil what goes on for everyone else who needs to go. (yes. needs to. its actually a graduation requirement.)

Junior year was horribllllllle
so much stress T___T
but i did well!
passed all my classes. and trust me, I don't consider D's passing. I'm 'aight!
And on top of getting pretty gewd grades,
i finished my chess set!!!

For all y'all that didn't know. i was making a full aluminum chess set in manufacturing class, board and all. And now, it's done! I promise to get pics of it up here asap, and I'll use the good camera. This thing deserves the attention. ^^

But omg that thing made me stay an extra hour and a half a day on average after school for the last month of school. WE DON'T GET ENUFF CLASS TIEM TO FINISH THESE THINGS >:B
And it takes about an hour to get to and from school daily, plus homework. You can tell i lost lots of sleep this year.
But it was all worth it! and now I'm finally done!!!

I'm finally starting to make a the band I've been marinading as an idea in my head for quite some time now. I'm gettin' into songwriting, and The next piece I'm planning to post needs to be some sort of stuff I could use for album art. That does give me an excuse to flood my gallery though. And I'm cool with that! :3

Yeah, my week sucked.
Monday was, ironically, the high point. lol.
Tuesday: the cat that usually comes by our house we found mauled and limping, meowing at us. So we took 'em to the urgent care animal clinic ting, and he got patched up, but they expected us to pay liek $1000 for surgery and other things.

For a cat we don't even know? Chya-NO.

Wednesday: I went to the urgent care, over to the ER, went thru 2 ultrasounds, 3 urine tests, and 5 vitals checks, and didn't get home till midnight.

Oh, right. They found a cyst. Where, you ask?

Lets just say... You don't want to know. T_T

I didn't go to school today because of it, and now I'm taking about 10 pills a day (not exaggerating), and watching my grades drop from me not being able to concentrate in class. GAR. :pissed:
