Her boyfriend is German as well, duh, even though she's in America she's got to find the German. While I'm all for her having such a great relationship and such....the only way they communicate is through Skype. Let me tell you. I am sick and tired of having to listen to my music with headphones every time they talk...which is every damn free moment of their time. I hardly ever get some piece and quite. Not to mention, when I want to take a nap like today, and be able to wake up on time, I don't want to have to listen to headphones to drown here out! Granted, I didn't have to /start/ with headphones. But because of her and her god damned boy friend I got woken up 20 minutes into my nap. I wasn't even properly asleep yet! She has absolutely no consideration for me as her roommate and I could rant on and on about various thinks, like the serious lack of space in our room that actually belongs to be. Want a sense? Hold our your arms, walk about 10 feet in a straight line and I've got less than that. But I won't say anymore.

I couldn't be happier that in 24 VERY LONG days, I won't have to deal with her anymore.

For a little back log, its the end of spring break but I'm still staying up wayyy late. I mean, what teen wouldn't? Mom hates it but really it doesn't effect her. As it is, we went shopping today which always makes me really tired so I could have crashed today around seven but who does that these days? I don't at least. So, I get a Dr. Pepper in my system and I'm good to go, back on track. By this time I've decided just to pull an all nighter. We're leaving for the air port at 5, 5:30 (half an hour for the record) and that's about the time I typically go to bed. I figure I can sleep on my two plane rides and in the car to school, which I will do. However, mom doesn't think this is such a good idea. Of course not. She throws a fit and being me, I throw one back. Well, she wakes up around 2:30 and starts yelling at me to go back to bed (I feel bad if there are people in the other rooms). I get fed up, I'm not going to bed and she doesn't get that it'll help me getting back on track for school. So, seeing as that's the last straw, I pack up camp and move out into the hallway....of our hotel. That's where I am. I've been here almost three hours now.....great time to end a break.

1) I took it in a test center...that I didn't know...with people I didn't know. It would have been nice to laugh at breaks over stupid things.
2) I had to get up at SIX FREAKING FIFTEEN IN THE MORNING. Serious death for someone who prefers to get up at like....one PM IN THE AFTERNOON. Christ.
3) I was there, in the test room...at 8. I left when? About 1. When I wanted to be getting up. That's a FIVE FUCKING HOUR TEST!

So yeah. This little penguin was STARVING by the end of it all but it paid off...sorta because we ate at this cute little bar that was PLASTERED with signed one dollar bills. The owner said it was like, between $4,000 and $5,000. That's a crap load of one dollar bills.

That was about the highlight of my weekend though. I mean. Two hour drive down Friday, trying to entertain myself in a quiet house (hate quiet houses), slightly early night to wake up early and take that stupid test, lunch (HIGH POINT!), another 2 hour drive to my dad's new house where I help him unpack some (yuck) then try to entertain myself with ONE computer game and my cell phone....no internet though like...six of our neighbors have secured wireless, and no TV. I was miserable for three days though I did beast my dad at scrabble.

Sunday I got driving lessons in my dad's truck which is stick. I have my license btw so it wasn't that kind of lesson. xD It was how to actually run the damn thing and let me tell you, my nerves were shot by the end of it though I've gotten better at driving it! Right like that comforts me much. I spent the rest of my Sunday, miserable, in a small ass town where I know no one. Granted, its really cute and I could probably like it there when there's internet and TV and the shops are all open...but not with the circumstances I had this weekend.

And then we get to Monday. Up earlyish again today (I got to sleep in Sunday like I wanted) though it was like...Eight thirty ish which wasn't bad. Spent 2 hours in American Furniture Warehouse before driving to Boulder for a tour of CU Boulder which went from about 1 to four thirty, most of which was walking. Man do my feet hurt. After that? Another three hours to home where I get bombarded with questions and insults by my mother when I just want to be left alone. And between all that? I managed to pick the semi x-rated book on tape to listen to in all the car time with my father...NOT. PLEASANT.

So yeah....that's an update from me. Hope your weekend wasn't as crappy as mine. xD

Long weekend is this weekend. Can't wait. Four days of nothing to do but hang around. Tis lovely. And then I'll only have four days of classes NEXT week 'cause the choir is going on a trip from Thursday to Saturday. It's going to be a blast.

Art wise not much is happening here. I'm working on collages in both Art and Graphic Design and let me tell you...it's surprisingly easier to work with magazines than with digital print.

I'll get it done though.

I really just wanted to share about the snow though, seeing as we don't get it much here.

Now I'm off to watch me some Buffy.

Mid-terms came out the other day. That WAS happy making. 3.5 gpa baby!!! -parties 'til the morning and then some- I think it's the highest gpa I've had since freshman year so that's quite the accomplishment and perfect timing for colleges and such ya know?

Hmm what else...Art wise I'm slowly toddling along, getting pieces out. We're having a small drawing contest that I'm entering two pieces for...both of which I will post though one'll have to wait 'til it's done. I've yet to paint it but it's all ready! In GD we're working on book covers...to no surprise I'm the first one done and rather proud of my work. My teacher say's it could very well be a part of my portfolio ^^. I'll eventually get around to putting that up too. In reg. Art I'm working on a word project. Take a word, make the letters represent what the word conveys to you. My word is 'Drip'. The letters look as follows: D - Clay, will be blue/purple/speckled and has ripples sketched in it. R - simple piping. Because...well it should be obvious. I - And umbrella! (and let me tell you this is the hardest letter. P - My favorite. It's a wood block, painted gradiant dark blue to light then on to purple and such thenn....best part. Has wax dripped on it! I'm such a pyro but that was so much fun.

So yeah. And update on my life. Everyone's wishing for a free day even though long weekend is just around the corner....doubt we're going to get it.

We've opened Santa here, and I'd be quite happy to just stay with that but we still have regular presents under the tree to go. Art wise, it was veryyyy productive. CS3 and three sketch pads! Two are watercolor, the smallest and the largest, and the other is general drawing. The sizes? 11x15, 14x17, and 18x24! I'm hoping there's a nice set of watercolors under the tree. Or maybe some acrylics.

Excuse my while I wander off to play with my new photoshop!

**Edit** Yay!!!! Omg on top off all that I got Tempra paints and I've got an English Easel coming in January!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So yes, today is my birthday. Unless you know me IRL then I'm with holding certain information...^^
Anywhozil, it's been a blast. Mom got me penguin socks and The Tales of Beedle the Bard. I'm expecting cake tomorrow at lunch from my advise group, not to mention a certain special big sister showing up with my present. I have the entire afternoon to spend with her! Or at least...a good portion of it because I'm skilled when it comes to arranging my tests. The school is also going to the Nutcracker Thursday night...that'll be entertaining. Friday is our midnight dinner and then Saturday I'm home! Or, home to my grandparents house. Actual birthday presents Saturday as well as another trip to the Nutcracker. Different ballet company though. I'm excited to compare. Anyway, that's my news. Looking forward to Christmas.

In more art related news. I plan on getting my more recent stuff in class photographed sometime tomorrow or Friday so I can have something for the holidays. And remember my punk rock chick? Well I FINALLY found the original and am currently in the process of butchering her with acrylics. We'll see what happens with that.
